Every single member of staff took care of us professionally and very personably- special thanks to Nang , Whin and Tuya. Warm welcome on arrival by manager Oh, complimentary drink and fruit basket in room, and checking in with us every day about our plans and giving us recommendations. Great location on the waterfront at the quieter end of Lamai beach , beautiful views and sound of the waves. Nice pool and plenty of sunbeds. Great selection at breakfast- fruit, baked goods, and Thai and western food cooked to order. Ate lunch several days in the restaurant- great selection and good value . Shame it’s not open at night ! Several nice restaurants nearby - we ate several nights at Tiki beach club where service was friendly , cocktails and food were delicious, and right on the beach . Baobab also great for lunch and only a short walk along the beach. Nothing , definitely one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in . Wish we were back now !

• Niclas (9/5): Exklusives Boutique-Hotel mit tollen Bademöglichkeiten - Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war insgesamt hervorragend. Die Lage ist wirklich spitze – als letztes Hotel am Strand bietet es ein besonders ruhiges und exklusives Ambiente. Ein Highlight ist der eigene Felsen mit separatem Meerzugang, der zum Entspannen und Verweilen einlädt. Generell sind die Liege- und Bademöglichkeiten ausgezeichnet. Für Abwechslung sorgt ein Billardtisch, dazu gibt es eine tolle Bar und ein süßes kleines Restaurant mit gutem Essen. Auch das Sicherheitsgefühl kommt nicht zu kurz: Die Anlage wird tagsüber von den (sonst sehr zurückhaltenden und zutraulichen) Hotelhunden und nachts vom Sicherheitsdienst bewacht. Das Personal ist freundlich, die Zimmer sind schön gestaltet, gut ausgestattet und bieten einen tollen Ausblick. Besonders positiv ist auch die unkomplizierte und professionelle Organisation von Transfers, Early Check-out und ähnlichen Anliegen. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist, dass das Badezimmer nicht ganz dem besonders spektakulären Felsbad entspricht, das auf den Bildern dargestellt wird – dennoch ist es schön und funktional. Zudem wirkt die Freundlichkeit des Personals stellenweise etwas übertrieben und leicht aufgesetzt, was allerdings Kritik auf sehr hohem Niveau ist.

Tolle Bar mit guten Drinks. Kostenfreie Schnorchel Ausrüstung. Mit liebe frisch zubereitetes Frühstück (ob Omelette,Rührei, Pad Thai, Reis oder Nudelsuppe alles möglich, dazu frisches Obst, Tee und Kaffee und frische Säfte). Vermittlung beim Roller leihen hat perfekt funktioniert. Es gab eine kleine Auswahl an Büchern in meiner Sprache die im Zimmer auf mich gewartet haben, was ich eine tolle Aufmerksamkeit fand. Alles in allem wird man dort toll versorgt vom Team und alle wünsche werden erfüllt Etwas außerhalb von Lamai, ca 30 Minuten zu Fuß vom night market

Die Unterkunft war ebenfalls sehr schön. Am Ende des Strandes mit einem schönen kleinen Pool. In der Umgebung gab es ein paar kleine läden. Viel zum shoppen eben nicht. Da musste man Richtung Lamai Night Markt. Selbst für mich lauffaulen war ein Weg (hin) ganz ok. Tipp: lauft am Strand entlang . Ist weitaus kürzer und auch im Dunkeln sehr schön zum laufen.

Busier central Lamai is easily accessible with an approximate 20 minute walk or use the grab taxi app. Facilities outside such as restaurants and bars are good with great value good quality food and drink. As it’s a boutique hotel you have the chance to experience the exceptional customer service from all staff which makes the stay at the Beluga a wonderful and enjoyable experience. Nothing not to like

• sarah (9/5): A perfect oasis of calm by the sea - The staff were delightful. The setting for sunrises was spectacular.. The privacy at the end of the beach away from the crowds was perfect for relaxing. Having only 14 rooms is so nice because you can actually meet other guests if you wish. There was nothing we didn't like and we could see ourselves returning again.

• Yvonne (10/5): Our stay at the hotel was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The property itself was beautiful and comfortable, bu - The hotel is right on the beach and absolutely beautiful. Our room was right on the front with a huge window overlooking the sea, every morning we watched the sunrise from our bed. The room was beautiful, attention to detail was exceptional, bottled water, fresh towels, flowers on arrival and a scented candle burning after every clean. There was plenty of wardrobe space and a safe for our valuables. Every one of the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful, and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious, a good choice of fruit, cereal, pastries and bread. There was also a variety of hot choices each morning cooked fresh. What could be finer whilst looking out to sea! The hotel bar closed most evenings at 8pm although there is a little bar right next door if you wanted a night camp! We had a few in there after a meal in town.

The hotel does not have a specific smoking areas, which means that you can smoke everywhere. Must be a paradise for heavy smokers. Anyway, the hotel is serving a delicious breakfast, with your choice of eggs, French pastries and fruit. The restaurant offers lunch with both Thai and European dishes. The hotel staff is amazing and helpful, except the female daily manager. She is unprofessional and does not have the right skills for her position in my opinion. There’s even a super friendly dog (one of the reasons I was excited to stay here after seeing other reviews!) Set right on the beach, plenty of sun loungers to choose from. Breakfast was fantastic, some freshly cooked options and then a selection of pastries etc, really liked that they bring a fruit plate and selection of condiments / ham / cheese etc to your table too ☺️ You are right near a little market (turn left out the hotel) during the day, a few restaurants and shops nearby and around 20 min walk into main lamai.

Nothing special and we ended up deciding to have breakfast elsewhere. However, the cost of breakfast was very reasonable for what they were offering.

Man ist direkt am Strand und hört nur das Meer. Essen, sehr gut. Manchmal spüllt das Meer viel Dreck an den Strand. Wanderweg führt am Hotel vorbei zur Piratenkneipe und dem Aussichtspunkt mit Sicht über den Lamai Beach.

Отель с оригинальным - Небольшой камерный отель, близость к морю, стильно, чисто и красиво Не понравились завтраки. Выбора совершенно нет, только омлет или скрэмбл с начинками, если хочешь что-то ещё вроде пад-тай - плати 350 бат. Дальше на столе всё максимально дешевое, булки из макро, печенья оттуда же, хлопья и йогурты. На этом всё. Цена и получаемое качество не соответствуют. При этом, в отеле есть потрясающий ресторан с невероятно вкусной кухней. Почему они не могут сделать нормальный завтрак - непонятно. Как вариант, можно предлагать гостям выбрать вариант завтрака накануне вечером 🤷🏼‍♀️

En liten och mysig hotell med en lugn atmosfär som ger en fin avkoppling . Underbar, trevlig och service inriktad personal med leende på läppar , man får lyx känsla varje dag . Man känner sig inkluderat dygnet runt . Tryggheten är 100% . Finns även levande Securitas nattetid. Fina stora rum , bekväma sängar och sängkläder . Allt som man behöver finns på rummet . Mysig frukost och god lunch -middag . Alla måltider lagat med kärlek. Det finns inget negativ att säga.

• Greta (8/5): - The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious and location was perfect. The also have security at the hotel at all time which makes you feel safe. I also liked no kids allowed, so there was a nice vibe to the place. One small complaint was the music of the hotel and next door were competing with each other all day which gives you a headache and I wish the bar stayed opened a little bit later so we could enjoy the nighttime at the hotel.

• Francesco (6/5): Attention no sea view room - The mattress was very comfortable, staff is nice. I booked a sea view room but, as you can see in the picture attached, the view is the front building of the hotel. This is not fair, only deluxe rooms at the second floor have sea view but this is not written on booking. The facility has a serious problem of sewer smell that should be tackled more in the deep than setting perfumes in the room and for this reason we called twice the staff that did what was possible to fix it. “French pastry” at breakfast should be improved in quality.

• Louis (9/5): - The personnel were very friendly and welcoming! The water equipment available for free was really nice! The room was as in the picture, really nice! The entrance of the hotel coming from the street wasn't welcoming and easy to walk with big luggage.

• Sue (10/5): An exceptional hotel, wonderful staff and lovely food. If you are thinking of booking, just do it!!!! - The location was superb, staff were so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was very comfortable and everywhere was spotless. The food at the hotel was really good it’s a shame that the restaurant closed at 5pm but we knew that at the time of booking so it was no surprise. There were plenty of places to eat locally so no big deal really. Would go back in a heartbeat!! We were a little concerned on the drive to the hotel once we turned off the main road especially when the taxi stopped at a bit of waste ground behind a bar!! But from an alley way we had not seen, appeared 2 members of staff from Beluga who collected our cases and led us to an oasis of relaxation and calm - Beluga!!!
• Zineb (10/5): - Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour au Beluga. Nous nous sommes senti comme chez nous, mais avec la mer et le service en plus ! Le staff est super, adorable et souriant. Olivier, Oh et toute leur équipe sont très bienveillants. Les chambres sont propres et le lit confortable. L'hôtel est placé au bout de la plage de Lamai, au calme avec une très belle crique presque privée avec accès direct à la plage de Lamai. Pas mal de restaurants et commodités à proximité. Très bonne nourriture (service du midi) et très bon cocktails. L'hôtel ne propose pas de dîner le soir mais beaucoup d'options s'offrent à nous, notamment un restaurant/bar que nous avons adoré collé à l'hôtel. Le plus gros plus de cet hôtel est l'insonorisation - une très belle surprise. On entend rien à partir des chambres; c'est parfait ! On s'y sent vraiment très bien et on a hâte d'y retourner ! Rien ! Un seul point: Pas de la faute de l'hôtel, mais il arrive qu'il y ait un chien dangereux appartenant à une voisine. Dans ce cas là, il vaut mieux passer par la plage.
