Guest Reviews
- Franck (4/5): - Wild dogs are located in the resort
- Daniel (2/5): - This place does not exist anymore. They place you across the street in a hotel that needs some serious attention
- Johannis (10/5): - Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding
Kein Pool keine Leistungen, rein garnichts!!! Das Hotel ist Betrug !!

- V4806HHclaireh (2/5): DO NOT BOOK HERE - Do not book here. They take your payment then on arrival tell you there are no rooms available.
No alternative was given and no help given. Rude obnoxious staff the point where they laugh in your face!!
Doesn't even deserved 1 star but had no option but put 1 star rating 😡
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not good for a light sleeper! - We were surprised to hear by our taxi driver when we got off the ferry that Dvaree diva is closed.. but your booking gets sent through too the hotel next door and isn’t stated anywhere. Abit confusing as this hotel is in fact closed.
The room doesn’t look like the pictures, is very basic and you don’t get any lamps just what looks like DIY furniture.
Beds relatively comfortable. But that doesn’t matter as you won’t get much sleep because the hotels surrounded by clubs and there’s 0 sound proofing. You can hear everything that happens outside. And the clubs play loud music until the early hours, then when they stop you’ll get about 1hour sleep until the Cockerels start crowing and ruin the morning.
The gym is actually pretty good for a hotel and The aircon works nicely. A good touch as most hotels don’t have this.
- nicoleban2020 (4/5): Mouse is our room not good service - We booked on agoda when we got there the hotel was closed so we went across the road and it is actually called Laem Din Hotel must be the same owners and 1 is closed down.
The hotel we booked (D Varee Diva Avenue Samui) had a pool and this was the reason we booked, but since the the building was closed there was no pool 'due to covid'.
The location of the hotel was good 10 min walk from Chaweng shopping centre & beach.
The second night we discovered a Mouse in the room.. we told reception and he said to not leave food out to.. (basically blamed us) we had been there 1 day and did not leave any food out. We did not get an apology.
There was a hole in the roof where the mouse came from, we told the receptionist that we covered the hole with a sock and he didn't really respond. He said the room will need to be cleaned..
Wouldn't recommend due to the service we received when we confronted him about the situation.
- keleann (10/5): - Good location if you want to be close to everything but still in a calm spot. There is a pool on the rooftop, bring your towels just in case. The shower in the superior room is great, the A/C works perfectly and there is a large balcony and a clothes dryer that you can use.
- keleann (10/5): Quiet place with spacious rooms - The hotel has a good location not too far from the town and the beaches. There is a pool on the rooftop they only need to add towels because there are none available when you go up. The rooms are always well cleaned, the bed is comfortable and the shower is really nice in the superior room with a glass wall going all around it. There is also a curtain if you need some privacy. A/C works perfectly and the balcony has a good size with a clothes dryer.
- talkativetraveler (10/5): One of the best places - We love this hotel a lot!
We booked a superior double room, we stayed there for 2 nights. It was exactly what we expected! Cleanness, services, staff, location....
We saw a lot of bad reviews about the room, we were also worried before we got to the hotel but to be honest, it was one of the best hotels we have stayed! So don’t worry about the bad reviews, trust me, you will love this hotel!
We wanted to stay longer but we couldn’t cuz we needed to move to another island.
KOPKUNKHA!
We highly recommend!
From Limor and Rose!
- olliehen (10/5): Friendly and welcoming - Me and my partner had a lovely stay at this hotel and was very impressed with the friendly, welcoming staff and the clean, spacious room. You are always welcomed with a warm smile when you enter the hotel which made us feel very comfortable. We had no problems with our room and we had a comfortable stay, the best night sleep of our trip! The swimming pool was great too.
Would highly recommend.
- Oded29 (4/5): Not nice time - The price is too high for November, the room is small and not clean , I have garbage full of stuff when I come at the first time to my room,
Shower and toleit with window and only one door(wired) balcony without sitting options ( only sit on the floor) happy that I didn't take here more the one night , really not recommend sorry..
Service mind
- Verified traveler (8/5): - the hotel is 15 minutes walk from chaweng beach. its good value for money.
- nadineb439 (8/5): Affordable option away for the buzz - Location A bit back from beach and main area, 30 min walk to say Arc bar, but safe to walk or get motorbike taxi. Rooms clean, with big fridge, but nowhere to buy drinks on site so stock up 100m away at mini mart.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Booked on the day-off. not a bad experience, overall rather clean, hallways were a bit dingy, pleasant staff
- 379rhiannas (8/5): Friendly helpful staff. Good value for money! - We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean, very basic but they were cleaned everyday which is a bonus. The staff were so nice and helpful!! Really made the experience. Also the rooftop pool is good
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice Hotel - Nice hotel with great rooms, the staff was friendly, the gym was ok. Only bad ting was the hotel restaurant closed at five but there are so many in the area that it doesn’t really matter. I had a great stay!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible Stay, Poor Rooms & Service - First room in Residential building had soiled and ripped bed linen, room dingy and poor, furniture old and scabby. Another room was given but not with view as booked. Housekeeping extremely bad, didn’t replenish toiletries, bath mat and even the towels. Bed lien again soiled, old tv. No physical security in building, outer doors left open. This hotel doesn’t follow its missin statement as outlined on their website-attentive service, outstanding comfort and facilities, bedding comfort priority, safe and comfortable? Overall terrible experience here and l would not Recommend staying here.
- Shell (6/5): - This hotel was in a great location, just a walk away from the main road, however, the hotel was very run down, the upstairs pool area needed new flooring as the wood was all splintered. The breakfast that was served in the metal tins was cold. The hotel was also very noisy inside and the guests were inconsiderate, slamming their doors when leaving. The staff were very polite and welcoming.
- Greg (4/5): - Hotel is in a very run down condition. Pool area in very poor condition. No towels & only two sun loungers available. Bed linen had cigarette burns. TV reception & picture quality was nonexistent. Hotel is too far away from from anywhere of interest.
- Kjetil (6/5): Old building and newer building. - I was given a room in a old building it was terrible there, not looking like the photos in advertisement at all. It was dirty, not soundproof glass to the streets, no security in the building all. The toilets was not clean.
I complained to the reception and was given a new room right away without hesitation in the more up to date building - I was happy about that and the reception was friendly. Bed were comfortable, big rooms. Not that far to walk to the beach, around 5 minutes.
- Mattyboyblu (10/5): Lovely hotel - We stayed in the D Varee in November this jest and can’t fault the hotel on anything. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and have everything you might need. Rooftop pool meant sunshine all day and was close enough to be able to walk from the hotel to the beach/restaurants. Shining star of this hotel is the staff though. The smiling welcome every time you were in reception made all the difference. Would highly recommend the D Varee
- Siljanmatkassa (6/5): After a poor start it all turned to be great. - We booked this hotel for 3 nights, Deluxe room. Having to read the reviews I asked the room to be in the newly renovated building and we got it there. Unfortunately when we got into the room, the sink was dirty, covered in glass stains, lamps were dusty, the wall next to the bed was a little crumbled and the WiFi did not work. Very disappointing. But, rather than hating the stay we went back to the reception, asked for a room in a better condition and a working WiFi and got one. After that everything went well.
Staff was helpful and made us feel welcome. Room was cleaned daily.
Pool was.. well it wasn’t as promised. Only 2 sun beds and the pool area was not very well maintained. We didn’t go there at all. However we did go to the hotels gym! It was pretty nice got a good workout done.
- E.g (8/5): - E. G nice hotel, the room is old but clean.
Has no beach
- 639mehera (8/5): Good clean rooms - Good Budget hotel near all the popular places. Breakfast was ok looking at the price being paid. Its near the central lake and staff is friendly. We stayed here for 7 days. A.c had a problem but the staff was quick at fixing things.
- RozaYWG (8/5): Rooftop pool, nice beds - We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was on the second floor and was very nice looking.
It had two beds (these touched though and couldn’t be separated). The duvets were so fluffy and comfy to sleep in.
The washroom was very large with shower curtain since it was a clear glass wall into the bed area.
The AC was strong. The balcony faced the street but had a drying rack. Could use some chairs out there to sit on for relaxing. Get used to the Thai boxing cars drive by blaring fight music.
The fridge was huge sized and had a safe.
The roof pool was great for a swim and look out over the town with the sun to your back. Also had a dining area on the higher platform.
The front desk was always helpful and provided bottled water anytime we asked for no charge.
The breakfast was decent with the usual items- some local dishes and some western with fresh to order eggs.
Would stay again.
- lou (10/5): good location - b good location rooms very big and clean. for the price you pay you get much more. staff afe so so so lovely and i would 100% reccommend
- IvanSpk (8/5): Good value for money - I stayed there for third time, the hotel has changed its name from Laem Din to D Varee Diva, but pretty much nothing else has changed. The price is still very reasonable for what you get. The main added bonus there is the gym - this saves 200 Baht alone to visit the nearby gyms. It has been renovated with 2 new air conditioners. The room also had new air conditioner - the old, noisy leaky air conditioner on the ceiling is still there but turned off.
I think it is time to change the old CRT TV sets to flatscreens, and also security is a bit lax - the front door was opened most of the time.
- Marcus (4/5): Very, very noisy. - Very noisy due to being next to a main road, had to use ear plugs to get to sleep. Room wasn't up to much either, pick another hotel there's plenty of better examples nearby.
- elliotq0 (10/5): Nice choice - Staying in D Varee Diva was the greatest choice we chose for the time in Thailand. Room is clean and corridor is newly renovated. The staffs have great service mind especially for the manager and her team at the front desk. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool. Highly recommend this property.
- EveE912 (4/5): Don't Let the Photos Fool You - I booked online to stay a few nights at this hotel and was quite surprised by the real thing. I suppose one of the buildings have been renovated (which I have no idea which one I stayed in, anyway). The bathroom was not very clean but still usable. After the first night, I went about my day and came back to my "made up room", in which the housekeeping simply covered my bed with the blanket, left the trash bins unemptied, and no change of drinking glasses. The staff that day were neither friendly nor helpful. Luckily, the next day, all was good in the world and the room was properly made up and the staff (a different lady from the day before) was very helpful when I asked for some directions going about town.
Breakfast as average, though you should come down right at 7 if you want your food warm and fresh.
The upside to this place is that the rooms are quite large, so you'll have plenty of space and won't feel cramped.
Invece all arrivo abbiamo trovato tutt'altro:
Insomma abbiamo dormito vestiti!
I mobili erano sporchi e rotti
.
- Dianne (2/5): - Avoid this dump
- joebangkok (2/5): Thailand worst hotel award - I booked a Deluxe room for 6 nights in this hotel, which was supposed to be the best available. After first night I left, I couldn't imagine spending one more hour in such a dirty place! Living in Thailand for 13 years, I have never seen such a terrible establishment. Don't give a chance to this place to spoil your holidays, run away!
- _haimbaugh (4/5): Two buildings - one is worse. Old. Bathrooms bad. - Although the price was good, the bathroom was horrible - old and mold & mildew, etc. We asked to change to another room. They charged us an upgrade fee for the better room in the main building. That room was much better and acceptable (but not great). The pool was closed the afternoon we arrived there (5pm) and the whole next day. Be careful also, as they take a deposit for the room key. Make sure you keep your receipt. They almost didn't give us our deposit back (because we changed rooms and no one marked that we gave first key back). Location was about 2 - 3 blocks from Chaweng Beach.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice hotel for price, spacious room, nice pool, close to the centre but quiet at night except for dogs screeching occasionaly Glass partition around toilet and shower a bit weird but curtains there. Would go back again.
- GianniD1466 (10/5): Warm welcome - Received very warm welcome at the front desk. Thé front team is leaded by the manager Mymp who is also beautiful and great manner.
The hôtel itself is well maintain and decorate. Rom o1a clean and very nice. I will recommend D Varee Diva Avenue Saui to everyone.
- 571kayep (10/5): Beautiful hotel nice staff - Hotel on arrival looked lovely and clean. Staff on reception was very friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than the specified check in time and was able to check into our rooms early. This was appreciated as it was very rainy outside
- ElBee2795 (8/5): Great budget hotel near the beach - We stayed in the Avenue hotel for three nights as part of an organised tour. The lobby is quite nice and we were offered pineapple juice upon arrival, which was appreciated. The rooms are spacious and clean and have good amenities, including free wifi, free bottled water and a mini fridge to keep them cool, and air conditioning.
The bathroom was also one of the best that we had during the tour: modern looking with a big shower cubicle. However we were only provided with one towel each and no hand towel, which is not a major problem but a slight downside.
It is a fairly short walk to the beach (around 10 mins) and there are great restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel also has a rooftop pool, which is great if you want a quick dip to cool down without going to the beach.
The staff were pleasant and look after local cats, which is nice. The breakfast didn't include a huge selection but we were content with fruit and cereal, and hot and cold drinks are available. Also, we left very early on our day of departure so breakfast hadn't yet opened; the staff kindly provided us with a packed breakfast of water, juice, a ham and cheese sandwich and a banana.
Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Would recommend to anyone looking for a clean, decent hotel in Ko Samui for a bargain price.
- LuAR94 (10/5): Clean and comfortable, great value - Excellent hotel. Short walk to the beach and the restaurants, which are all easy to get to. Nice and quiet in the evenings as it is not on top of all the nightlife.
The staff were all helpful and friendly. Rooms were big, comfortable beds, lovely and clean.
The breakfast was good, lots of choice and again very friendly staff.
The hotel is good value for money, especially compared to others that are nearby. Booked in very last minute and the hotel had already arranged everything for us, with about 10 minutes notice. We'd been travelling and staying in lots of different hotels and this was one of the best. Would recommend!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Just 10mins walking distance to beach - I am not living in main building but the room is clean and safe.
- Jack (2/5): No tv no refund - We stayed he for 4 nights for the majority of the time we had no tv they did not fix it. They offered us nothing for the inconvenience. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that the room we booked was not in the main hotel but Accross the road and if we wanted to stay at the main hotel, the one in the photos we would have to pay an extra 300 baht a night, which included a terrible breakfast. Also the hotel gives you 1 towel and no hand towels. Never again!
- Jason (8/5): Good for the price - Location pretty good, close to 1 of the bar areas, about 10mins walk to beach. Happy with the botel qualkty for the price we paid
- Sanna (10/5): Ok hotel - OK hotel. The breakfast was quite limited. Good location.
- Verified traveler (6/5): You get what you pay for ... cheap - Poor maintenance and cleaning. Loud and noisy. It is very basic, good location but not suitable to rest and relax.
- Nelson (6/5): - Staff were great and accommodating. An unfortunate monsoon event caused the hotel not to have hot water. Management upgraded our room, free breakfast and a late check out. Also, were able to get us hot showers at anytime at the hotel across the road.
Close to main Chaweng shopping area and beach. Central spot.
- JOHN (4/5): THE LAMADIN BUILDING NOT GOOD MAIN HOTEL GOOD - WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE AVENUE WE WERE PLACED IN THE LAMADIN BUILDING WE UPGRADED AT A COST OF 3900 BAHT IT WAS IN A BAD STATE MOULD IN BATHROOM PATIO DOORS DID NOT LOCK WE WERE PUT IN MAIN HOTEL,WE UNPACKED AGAIN THE FIRST ROOM THE ROOM DOOR WOULD NOT LOCK THEY SAID IT WOULD BE 10 MINS ALL DAY WE WAITED IT WAS 7 HOURS BEFORE SOMEONE CAME TO ATTEND TO THE DOOR THEY OFFERED ANOTHER ROOM FURTHER DOWN THE HALL SO WE MOVED WE UNPACKED AGAIN AND WAS PROMISED ANOTHER ROOM ON 4TH FLOOR BUT COULD ONLY HAVE IT ON MONDAY 3 DAYS LATER IT WAS BECAUSE THAT THE 4TH FLOOR WAS FULL THAT WAS NOT THE TRUTH ...IN THIS OTHER ROOM DOWN THE HALL WE FOUND THAT THE SAFE DID NOT WORK , SO THEY MOVED US TO THE FORTH FLOOR IT WAS A LOVELY ROOM WE WERE QUITE HAPPY THEN .THE POOL ON TOP OF THE HOTEL WAS IN NEED OF REPAIRS THE DECKING WAS BADLY NEEDING TO BE REPLACED THE POOL WENT GREEN AND HAD TO BE CLEANED THE WATER IT WENT BROWN AND THEY SAID THAT THE PUMPS WERE BROKEN AND THAT THEY HAD NOT ENOUGH WATER TO REPLACE IT THEY OFFERED TO GIVE TOWELS FOR THE BEACH AND A 10% DISCOUNT IN THE HOTELS DINING AREA WHICH AFTER ALL OF THE INCONVENIANCE AND HASTLE WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE UPGRADE COST BACK BUT WAS NOT ... THE HOTEL NEEDS A VERY BADLY NEEDED OVERALL THEN I THINK IT WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE TO MORE TRAVELLERS .
- Nicole (10/5): Hotel confortável e aconchegante - Achei um ótimo custo beneficio
- Verified traveler (4/5): Loud - The bars outside were blasting music till 2am. Then all day the next day the boxing stadium was repeating the fight that night it was back to back playing very annoying!
- Andreas (6/5): - Sjysst hotell. Dock avsides.
- pertti (6/5): Halpa mutta kulunut - Vanhan puolen ilmastointi pitaa kovaa aanta.
Colazione pessima.
- Nathan (6/5): hotel has 2 buildings one old one new better check - I have stayed there couple of times and the hotel is ok but the only downside to it is when you book the room you see a certain picture of a building and when you arrive they send you to an older building across the street which is very diffrent than the one in pictures. I had to pay more to be situated in the better building on both occasions.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Terrible - Staff were unfriendly, air con was broken, pool was too dirty to swim in and gym was rubbish. Hotel does not appear as advertised so do not believe the pictures.
- Shani (10/5): Awesome! - Great rooms, very clean with good AC and shower. we stayed in the building in front of the reception. They have a lift there you can use for the bags. Really enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend. There are other places a bit closer to the beach, but we walked in the sun for about 13 minutes and we got there!
- talmor (10/5): - Great value low cost
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice hotel with good size room which was close to the beach and market areas. I would stay here again.
- Hock Leong (2/5): Cheap hotel.. but wouldn't stay again. - The advertised picture was very different from actual. Had to pay Baht500 deposit for room key. Bathroom had dispenser but nothing inside. Shower room had half andoor only. Many room numbers have dropped off.. luckily not mine. Towels were aged and didnt look clean.
- Paul (10/5): Koh Samui - The Avenue - Great value hotel
Great location
Friendly staff
Good breakfast
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not as nice as I was lead to believe - Room did not match the pictures online, they were old and had not been maintained. Was in an OK area, 5min walk to a busy shopping and eating street. Pool was good though but the area around was dirty with old food scraps and empty alcohol bottles.
Staff were friendly.
- Rachie (2/5): Do not book here - Arrived to a rude receptionist, who didnt even tell us anything about the hotel, had no WiFi in the room that we stayed, even though on line review said that we did, Air conditioning unit leaked all over the floor and the bed. The room was dirty, the shower was covered in mould. The tv couldnt get any stations because the airal was broken. Was cheap but totally not worth it. Only stayed for one night where we were supposed to stay for two and went someone else the second night. When I complained about the room , the receptionist got quite assertive, would not recommend to anyone that I liked.
- David C. (4/5): Holiday in Koh Samui - This must be one of the worst maintained hotels that I have stayed at, which is not the fault of the staff who could not have been more helpful and supportive. I noted when guests arrived at the restaurant the staff simply quickly, with a smile, provided cutlery.
The rooms look like a high quality design, but both rooms I stayed in had no bedside lights. Lights bulbs in both rooms had failed and were not replaced. I stayed in 2 rooms as the first was 'musty' and triggered problems with my asthma. I was moved quickly when I asked.
The corridors looked as though someone had applied one coat of paint and decided that was enough. Corridor carpets were stained. Corridor ceiling panels had buckled so there were gaps between one panel and the next.
- Liam (6/5): - Was a bit out of way from the Main Street so quite a walk or a taxi to and from. Room wasn't quite what it looked in the pictures and was covered in sand, the bathroom was grubby and couldn't get wifi in our room but was cheap and somewhere to put your head down for the night
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hotel! Make sure you stay in the main building
- jochen (6/5): Dirty hotel - The hotel would be nice if they would clean it somewhen. You can see already in TripAdvisor that many people had dirty bed and room. Even so you are asking for cleaning they do not change the bed sheets.
- CA (6/5): - I was disappointed with my room, bathroom was to small and uncomfortable. Need some lights next to the bed
- Jakob (6/5): - A good place for the semi-luxury backpacker.
Hotel looks a bit tired here and there, but overall okay for the money.
- Chris D. (8/5): Very comfortable hotel in good location
- Enjoyable stay at a nice hotel with friendly staff and for the price I paid it was excellent value. Room was clean, modern, and good size with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Food for breakfast was fine also.
- Chris (8/5): Great value - Better than expected. Room very good. Breakfast more than adequate and locale very handy. Enjoyed stay.
- Terri (6/5): On quiet street - Booked standard room in Laemadia building. Very disappointed. No towels in room, no toiletries but good wifi. Upgraded for better room. Great room in main hotel nice shower, toiletries and pool, but very bad wifi. Had to stand right Next to the door to get wifi signal and had router right outside room. Friendly staff and easy to upgrade. Location quiet road and walk to Central Festival. Roof top pool but no pool side bar.
- Robyn (4/5): Nothing like the website portrays! - Hotel is nothing like the pictures! I stayed in Laem Din Building across the road and it was disgustingly filthy. Stained sheets, dirty walls and leaking so conditioning units were just a few problems I ran into. There is no tea and coffee machines like suggested on the website and there is no decorative welcome. My hostel in Kuala Lumpur was so much nicer than this 3.5 star hotel. The pool is clean and the staff are helpful but I would stay in the building where the pool and reception is, which may mean an upgraded room but I heard no complaints about that building.
- Nick (8/5): Value - We found The Avenue quite pleasant, the rooms where modern and the beds comfortable. The shower was big and the balcony, although without a view offered a perfect spot to dry out clothes. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent, although I'm not a fan of the pre-steeped tea(not sure who would be?).
The pool on the roof offered a nice view of the surroundings but the top roof could do with some more development, it certainly has potential. All in all we enjoyed our stay and thought it quite the value for the money.
- Milos (10/5): recommend this hotel over all very good. Thank yo - In general was all good. Some days was lack of towels.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Advice is to not stay here - I don't usually write reviews but after our awful stay here I had too.
Stayed here for two nights in August 2015.
Arrived and reception was fine but then went to our room which was covered in dead and alive Mosquitos. Dirty towels and dirty stained sheets. Doesn't look like they changed them from the last person. Very bad night sleep with trucks going past and dogs fighting.
Next day we asked for our sheets to be changed as they were disgusting. The receptionist didn't even speak English and had to ask for a tour operator to translate for us.
As you might guess sheets and towels were not changed and we had to sleep in our travel towels for a second night.
Saying we were happy to check out was an understantment but was made worst when reception couldn't find my passport which they used as a deposit. Finally found it an hour later and after a lot of moaning.
Only good thing about this hotel is location, which for a better price you could stay somewhere nicer and even closer.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Cleanliness problematic... - This place has some serious cleaning issues. Execpted from the main lobby, there's literally not a single thing or surface that isn't stained.
The service is good, breakfast quite basic and the pool very average. The hotel is close to the main street and beach entrance, but you need to walk 500m in a dark street full of speeding bikes which make it's location less than average.
- Verified traveler (8/5): 4 friends travelling - Good hotel! Worth paying that bit extra to stay in the avenue building. The rooms were nice - conveniently located.. Hire a moped to dash into town. Cool bar nearby called the "star bar".
- Sabrina (8/5): Modern hotel with comfortable rooms - The pool is nice and the rooms were clean. Location is perfect.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Had a good time in samui. Hotel was perfect for us as we didn't spend much time there. Was nice to come back to air con and a big comfy bed
- Jey (6/5): Convenient - Very convenient and very easy to get around especially around Chaweng.
- LA (10/5): New, Clean, Convenience - I stayed in both superior and deluxe rooms. Both are new, clean, with a comfortable bed, a balcony and a modern glass wall toilet but no bathtub, but surprisingly superior room has a bigger toilet. All deluxe rooms are at the top 4th floor, easily access to the swimming pool which is at the same floor. There is another annexe called 'Laem din', it looks older but at a cheaper rate.
The location is very convenient, just not far from the bar street and yet very quiet at the night time. Family mart, some restaurants, bars, motorbike rent shops are just besides the hotel. If walking towards the right side of the hotel, less than 5 minutes would reach 7-eleven, another 50 meters would see Tesco Express and boxing stadium. If walking towards and along the chaweng lake, about 10 minutes time would see various food stalls selling variety of food with reasonable price. Walk further up a bit would reach McDonald and another few minutes would be Central Plaza.
The breakfast is average, not bad, at least at this price range. The hotel even tends to provide different kinds of food at different days.
The only drawback is that the free wifi is really slow, detected only 0.5 Mps. They charge for TBath 100 per day to get high speed wifi.
All in all, this hotel is really value for money, highly recommended.
