Guest Reviews
- Mukeem (1/5): - I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life at Vimal Heritage. I am extremely disappointed with the overall service and facilities provided during my stay. The main issue was the air conditioning, which was not working properly at all. Despite informing the staff multiple times, no proper solution was provided. It was very uncomfortable, especially in such hot weather, and it completely ruined my stay.
The room was not maintained properly and did not match the expectations shown online. Cleanliness was below average, and the staff response was slow and unprofessional. Instead of solving guest problems, they kept giving excuses. A hotel should provide at least basic comfort, but unfortunately this property failed badly.
I chose this hotel expecting a peaceful and comfortable experience, but it turned into a frustrating and stressful stay. The management seriously needs to improve customer service, room maintenance, and especially the AC system. Guests pay money to relax and enjoy their stay, not to suffer in uncomfortable conditions.
I would not recommend Vimal Heritage to anyone looking for a quality hotel experience. There are many better options available. Very poor management, poor maintenance, and overall a disappointing experience from start to finish. “The AC was not working properly during my stay. The room was uncomfortable and the service was disappointing. Overall, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.”
- Navrup (8/5): - Supporting staff. Mattresses must be replaced.
- singh (5/5): -
- Griff (9/5): - Loved the building, proper time warp stuff our old style room was large with a big shared patio/balcony. Bed was comfy, Aircon was weak but ok in combination with the ceiling fan. The place is showing its age but well worth a stay unless you're a fan of the modern/corporate hotel. There is an open air cafe in the front of the building menu was ok and it's a pleasant place to sit. Location is good in a quiet area not far from the station. Had an issue with management on the last day, nothing serious but left us feeling a bit sour.
- Gabriel (10/5): Happy with the quality for the price point. - The host was helpful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good. The breakfast was decent too. It's an attractive traditional building. The cafe attached to it is a pretty good one with a pleasant shady outside area. Lastly, the cost for the room wasn't too steep. Don't book based on the pool (unless they get round to cleaning and fixing it)

- Megan (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel it was a lovely big room. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good. The staff are amazing and very friendly. The cafe at the hotel does really good food. The location was quiet and worked well for me and my children.
- Manavi (10/5): -
- pawan (10/5): -
- lalit mohan (9/5): - Cool aesthetics . Helping staff. Delicious complementary breakfast decent room spacious storage. Additional blanket was already kept . Felt safe comfortable and value for money Have to call for cleaning, towels or water bottles. Cleaning and room service needs improvement.
- Ranjay (8/5): - Room size was good. Property not maintained properly as stuffs were old. Staff was limited.
- Preethi (7/5): Decent stay - Ambience Facilities - we didn’t have WiFi and cable tv connection for our room
- Prasanta (10/5): Ideal Heritage Hotel extending very courteous and royal type treatment - It was quaint , a good old residential house nicely converted to a hotel giving us rich taste of the old and the new. A special mention should be said about the Hotel Manager Sharmaji, who was so smily and ready to everything to make guests comfortable. Very well spoken gentleman We actually loved it all
- john (10/5): Real heritage hotel - Look out for Lucky the tuck tuk driver. Real name Ravi. Top driver with good English and so helpful
The hotel is beautiful if you want a real heritage place not a modern tourist pastiche
The staff are all excellent and could not be more helpful
The hotel is clean and full of character
Location is quiet by Indian standards Nil
- Varghese (8/5): - Location

- Shankar (10/5): - The place is beautiful and the service is amazing. Everyone was very kind. We stay one night with a family had a very nice experience

- Suraj (1/5): Don't fall for the photos. Not recommended - We liked the photos while booking the hotels & the outside decoration and nothing else. We booked the family /presidential suite. The room size defines the name. Other than that there was no toiletries, not even a simple handwash in the bathroom. The comode handheld spray not working, no bucket or even mug in sight. No hot water. We were offered another room but it was slightly better than the previous one. The swimming pool condition was also not inviting. The price we were paying was for suite but the room was a below of a below average motel. We stayed in om nivas hotel in our last visit, which is just a few meters away & it was a luxury. We fell for the photos of this hotel & took a wrong wrong wrong decision. Not recommended at all.
- Koushik (7/5): Beautiful haveli in need of an upgrade - The property is a tastefully decorated haveli with some amazing features. The hotel staff are fabulous- very courteous and attentive to your every need. The owners also live in the same premises. They are friendly and chatty. Provided some useful tips about shopping in Jaipur.
However the rooms need modernisation. The bathrooms are in dire need of an upgrade. The rooms need modernisation. The bathrooms need to be replaced. The swimming pool was unusable as the water was really turbid
- shekhar (1/5): - Nothing, not worth of money paid Horrible breakfast ,horrible room
- Sandeep (6/5): location is good but facilities is not. - we forget kid watch they found it and call me to inform. Pool is no that clean they we didn't get water even after so many reminders also no bucket available in the room. kids want to watch TV but no recharge in TV they ask for 15min but it didn't work till we checkout.
- Sandeep Kapoor (7/5): Short Family Trip - Staff and location No 24*7 Restaurants
Pool was not clean
- laes (10/5): - Zeer gezellig hotel. Supervriendelijke ontvangst. Na een lange warme dag in het drukke Jaipur is het een verademing om in deze oase van rust even in het zwembad te duiken. De kamers zijn netjes en ruim genoeg.
- Narender (10/5): Very good stay - All are good Very good property
- Tyler (7/5): Good -
- Rajan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Swarndeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mahajan (9/5): Superb - Hotel is clean and well managed, Great Service. Enjoyed a lot. Very Friendly Staff
- Victoria (8/5): Very good -
- Orenduvdevani (8/5): Very good -
- Surina (7/5): Good - It's a lovely boutique hotel and if you like Pasta and Pizza 3 times a day its a great place to be Property is old and creaky..if you like old, traditional with the wear and tear of age it is the place to be. The restaurant staff needs to better thier attitude
- Elizabeth (8/5): Nice old fixtures.nd fittings, courtyard pool was refreshing - Nice pool, close to train station. Breakfast was nice.
Staff helpful - I didn’t really spend much time in hotel
I received upgraded room as the aircon didn’t stop beeping - the extra room made it feel a bit more luxurious The cafe was a bit restricted in choice and had closed by the time my train arrived.
- Irina (8/5): Very good - This was our first time asking ChatGPT to find a hotel. The prompt was: “An atmospheric boutique hotel in Indian style.” And it was an absolutely perfect match.
A gorgeously designed and stylish hotel—almost like a dream. One downside: cleaning needs improvement.
The terrace chairs and carved hanging swing were too dusty to sit on. I went through a whole pack of wipes just to place my belongings from the suitcase.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Ross (8/5): Nice and clean, good coffee and quiet location - Walking distance ( about 10 mins ) from the train station The website for the Royal Suites makes it seem like it is both a double bed and two singles, but that is not the case. They are just a larger room with the option for a double or two singles
- Üstad (6/5): Pleasant -
- Seamus (4/5): Bathroom needs work, very smelly.. - Didn’t have N/A
- Saša (10/5): Highly recommended - I like the location. Close to railway station bit not loud. Very pleasent ambience and energy. Lobby was very cute. Hotel is warm, clean and has a soul. It dan be seen it is managed by female hand. Perfect stop for Jaipur. Should we travel to Jaipur again, this Will be our hotel of choice.
- Johanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vayu (4/5): Disappointing -
- James (8/5): Nice hotel - good value - Nice enough on the surface, comfy and clean.
Some wear and tear showing in the room. But nothing to be worried about
Nice coffee shop attached
Quiet location Pool didn't look like it could be used, always had debris floating in it.
Room wasn't cleaned during visit.
- Manish (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Vikram, front of house was exceptional, very helpful and so welcoming.
The hotel is a very nice old building with internal courtyard, shaded with greenery.
Very good food at the hotel restaurant/cafe, real coffee and a variety of Western food if that's your need.
Best shower in India, lots of places fail at this. We had a first floor front bedroom with a huge balcony, a big plus.
Great value. Trying to think of something....I can't.
- Ayush (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice property. Value of money..neat n clean...staff is very polite n helpful...location is great... In breakfast-- very less variety.
- Susie (8/5): Very good -
- Fenella (9/5): Superb - Excellent location, room, friendly staff Nothing
- Kachhap (9/5): Superb -
- Alanah (10/5): Stayed here for 3 nights in Jaipur. Staff were very friendly and helpful and even helped us book our train. Vikram was e - Nothing!
- Darragh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gandhi (1/5): Horrible experience of entire family - Bad rooms hotel staff very uncooperative and breakfast was horrible which ruined my day Bad rooms
- Rupak (6/5): The behaviour of the staff was extremely good . The cafe which is also a part of the property is awesome and the ambianc - 1. Location
2. Behaviour of the staff
3. Cafe The value for money is missing.
Stayed there for 3 nights and was charged 5.5k per night which is too expensive considering the size of the room . The bed was too old and had weird and funny sounds all over .
- Dhamari (7/5): Good -
- Ashish (6/5): Pleasant -
- Parag (8/5): Very good - Rooms are spacious and tasefully decorated. Infact the whole property gives a good feeling. There is a cafe adjacent to it that provides Italian cuisine. There were only two issues with our stay at this property.
1. In this winter season when one expects hot running water supply in the bathroom what was available was just luke warm.
2. Only one car space is there to be parked inside the premise otherwise it has to be parked road side.
The other downside is that the property provides fresh hot breakfast only, though they have a fully functional kitchen but dont serve lunch or dinner. Only option is the nearby cafe.
- Surabhi (4/5): I don’t think I really enjoyed my stay in the room. The only positive thing about this place is the area where it’s loca - The property is located in one of the finest areas in Jaipur. It’s quite close to the Jaipur railway station as well. The rooms! Everything else is aesthetically pleasing but the rooms are maintained quite below the standards of this hotel. That’s one thing that the hotel owners must focus on!
1. The beds / mattresses are not at all comfortable. See the condition of the mattresses in the pictures I have posted here.
2. The floor in the room is not clean and not maintained. I hope they understand that wooden flooring needs to be maintained.
3. There was dust on every corner of the rooms and bathroom shelves. I literally had to clean the space before putting my things on it.
4. Walls in the room at cracks - no maintenance it seems ! (See picture)
5. Lighting was too poor which made the space darker and gloomy.
6. The quality of the towels were even worse. I could see stains on them and when they replaced the towel - I received a towel with loose threads. Not impressed !
As guests, we spend most hours of our day in the rooms so it’s highly imperative to maintain the rooms and make them comfortable, and equally impressive and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes just as the hotel outdoor lounge and cafe. I mean, why would I like to see wall cracks and dust in a room where I need to rest ??
- Sorout (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debra (9/5): A great 5 night stay a little oasis outside of the main area. Great coffee shop/ restaurant on site. Room was a litt - A great location and the rooms are very comfortable, staff were very accommodating. A little bit of noise from the back stairs with staff going up and down.
- Dr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Saurav (10/5): Will come back - Amazing location, room, staff and everything Nothing
- Ranabir (7/5): Nice value for money - Very Nice Location, Friendly reception. The Room and the hotel as such is not as in the photographs
- Cath (8/5): Lovely stay in the heart of Jaipur - The room was spacious and had a big balcony with seating area outside. Staff were all very helpful. The pool was lovely Breakfast choice was a bit limited, but what there was was nice. Omelettes made fresh to order
- Atalatti (8/5): Very good -
- Gatenby (8/5): Very good -
- Darren (8/5): Very good - Breakfast a little limited, room great, didn't try the pool. Staff very helpful (Vikram especially). Nice terraced coffee area at the front. Nice decoration (and I don't usually care about that).
- Romharsh (9/5): Superb -
- Mali (8/5): Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend fixing and cleaning up the pool as well as improving the bre - Very friendly staff and clean facility. Good location not to far from the center Pool was not operational even though we booked the property for the pool. And breakfast options are very poor.
- Sunil (9/5): Superb - It was a pleasant stay. Being located in the city center, it’s convenient to travel to various tourist attractions. The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all requests are handled efficiently.👍
- Navnish (5/5): Passable -
- Sukania (8/5): In overall it was value for money and I would recommend this location to anyone visiting Jaipur . - I love the atmosphere and the staffs were very friendly and made the stay felt home ! I did not like their breakfast ,it could have been better with more choices .
- Nav (2/5): very disappointed at the condition - You can order food take away from the local restaurants and get it delivered to the hotel so you can eat in your room . The staff are very helpful and did they’re best at what they have to work with it’s not down to them that the hotel is run so poorly . Hot water is only for morning so if you’ve been travelling and come back in evening it’s a cold shower . The shower drainage was blocked with hair so it just backed up and overflowed , there was a bundle of a previous persons hair stuck to the shower wall . The breakfast (one day we ate) was poor just toast , pancakes and a banana with cold tea . We were charged for 2 days of breakfast even though we didn’t have breakfast on the first day as we left early for a day trip to see Jaipur sights .
- Avi (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great! The hotel, location, and the staff! The swimming pool can be cleaner. We couldn't use it as it wasn't clean enough to swim in.
- Deepak (6/5): Pleasant - no as expectation
provided very limited items
and other thing is ok I did not like the management, they are not change bad sheets daily bases, there is dust all over on the windows. Not good cleaning
otherwise staff was well behaved
- Manish (10/5): Exceptional - The ambience was really good,
We were been guided for every possible things to do in Jaipur.
They gave us late checkout without any extra charge.
Every one of the hotel staff was soo humble and ready to help always.
We never felt its a hotel.it was like our home itself, would love to stay at Vimal again in our next stay.
- Shallom (9/5): Pleasant stayl - location and decorations there are minor things like leaks that easily be fixed
- Aradhna (2/5): Very poor -
- Kanchan (3/5): Poor - The hotel property is great with beautiful decor and furniture. BUT THE REALITY IS -
1.NO Hot water - each time you have to go down and inform to on the geyser
2. NO reception number- it never works
3. POOR BREAKFAST- NO fruit, no sugar in tea
4. ALWAYS UNDERSTAFFED
5.The Floors are dusty never cleaned and have all stains
6.I paid for POOL, BUT SINGLE DAY THE POOL WASNT AVAILABLE. Stinky dirty water.
- Irene (8/5): Very good - Great location. Great staff; very friendly. The room is clean. Information on booking was not completely matching reality. We thought that we booked a room with four fixed beds (travelling with three), turned out too be two beds + one less comfy foldable bed. Other beds are fine, clean sheets. Nice restaurant, lovely coffee. Friendly staff.
Swimmingpool was refreshing.
- Ross (10/5): Really nice place - Staff were very kind and helpful
Owner is lovely too! Little bit out of town but taxis are easily available
- Shabneez (10/5): Exceptional - Value for money
Will visit again
- Shabneez (10/5): Exceptional - Hospitality is 10/10. Meena is very helpful and also the owner Mrs Prinati is very caring n make sure our stay goes well. I highly recommend this hotel. Only the matress is not too comfortable otherwise u feel at home in this hotel. Will definitly go back
- Inès (10/5): Exceptional -
- Missjen (8/5): It's good but hear me out... - I like that the name Heritage is really correct. The lady owner is there. Shes very kind and accommodating. The place itself is well maintained and kept. The interiors will take u back to a different era. It's really beautiful. They have a Cafe that equally beautiful but a bit modern. At night when the lights are open the place has a different character. The pool was not operational. I booked this place because of the pool. I hope they fix that in the future cause the pool is one of their assets. I also don't like that the reception kept asking if I were a foreigner. I don't understand why at this day and age, some Indians still don't know that India is a diverse country. I was born and raised as an NRI and was only beginning to stay for good here in recent years... But I feel I'm not welcomed at all.
This is not about the hotel: but even my friend from Bihar was asked if she was a foreigner at one of the entrances of a fort.
Back the Hotel Vimal... It's almost perfect. I'd give it a perfect 10 without these hiccups. For now, it's an 8 for my book.
- Fofey (10/5): Exceptional - Vikram was the perfect host, and made me feel very comfortable and at ease:)
- Tinka (9/5): Superb - Nice spacious room and very nice decoration! Fan & AC! Quiet location. Staff was friendly and there is a cafe serving drinks and some international food downstairs. Overall a nice stay, maybe a bit pricey for solo budget traveller (as the price is same for 2 adults in the room). But would absolutely recommend! Thanks for a lovely stay! Maybe add few sunbeds by the pool to make ot more nice! :)
- Mrs (5/5): Didn't find it value for money. - Location and interior theme was good I'd requested a high-floor room, but I was given a room right next to the reception.
The pool was very dirty, not fit for swimming at all.
The hotel serves meals at the adjoining cafe. Variety was absent.
- Debajyoti (5/5): Passable -
- Gareth (10/5): Felt like home for the 2 nights I stayed - Very clean and comfortable with a great cafe and restaurant downstairs, serving western food and good coffee Nothing, all was great, staff were lovely too
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Nice hotel. Manager is very friendly and helpful.
- Balbir (5/5): Good budget hotel - Cheap and cheerful
- Rajan (10/5): A wonderful experience at Vimal Heritage - I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful stay at your hotel. From the impeccable service to the comfortable accommodations, my experience was truly delightful. The attention to detail and friendly staff made my visit memorable. Thank you for providing a top-notch hospitality experience. Nothing to dislike.
- Anna (8/5): Charming - Very nice staff and the hotel itself is truly charming
Might need some refreshments though ..
The food was good but surprisingly the same dish was different from one day to another
In any case we recommend masala fries 🍟
Close to great massage places Might be slightly cleaner
- Raelene (8/5): really loved the location, the staff, the vibe, the beautiful heritage feel of the place - room was spacious, opening onto a large balcony
breakfast was good,
the hotel rooms overlook a swimming pool
The team and owner were very helpful, friendly and polite.
the area the hotel is in is quiet, but close enough to all the exciting adventures that Jaipur offers. A great place to land, unwind, and find some rest after busy days of shopping and sight seeing. hairdryer didnt work in a couple of rooms, no real issue
- Manojkumar (8/5): Very good -
- Megha (6/5): Pleasant - The staff was nice and property was clean. The owner of the property creates a lot of disturbance. They live at the top floor of the hotel and keeps on creating noise at night like someone is jumping or walking and showing. It is very difficult to sleep at night peacefully after a long day of exploring the city.
- Manojkumar (7/5): ....we reached earlier then expected. However the staff was kind enough to accommodate us.... - Hospitality....amazing staff
