I don't know how these kind of people even make it to the hospitality industry. Zero regard for paying customers. The food, limited in spread at the buffet felt stale with cockroaches moving around. The namkeen especially felt like it was kept in the open, all soggy and the same was being served to the guests during breakfast. The only reason we booked this is because of the pool. The security staff and the life guards at the pool were the only good people, helpful and polite. Probably because they are outsourced.

- Connector19507884711 (2/5): Far Below 5-Star Standard – Deeply Disappointing Experience - I am genuinely at a loss as to how this hotel is considered a 5-star property. Our stay at the Novotel in Candolim, Goa fell significantly below even basic expectations, let alone luxury standards. While the reception area is visually impressive and creates a strong first impression, this is where the positives largely end. The front desk staff were consistently inefficient and lacked professionalism. Most concerning was their inability to correctly manage billing, resulting in errors at checkout that should not occur at any reputable hotel. Although we were provided with an upgraded room, it quickly became apparent that the accommodation was dated and poorly maintained. Soundproofing was virtually non-existent the walls were so thin that we were subjected to disruptive noise throughout our stay. Most unacceptable was the sound of drilling and construction work taking place around midnight, which is entirely inappropriate and demonstrates a complete disregard for guest comfort. Cleanliness standards were deeply concerning. Upon inspection, we found litter wrappers and even human toenails underneath the bed. This is wholly unacceptable and raises serious questions about the hotel’s hygiene practices. The breakfast experience was equally substandard. The dining area was overcrowded and poorly managed, creating a chaotic and unpleasant environment. Guests were crammed into a small space, staff appeared overwhelmed, service was slow, and the overall atmosphere was noisy and stressful rather than enjoyable. The only redeeming aspect of the stay was the bar, which offered reasonably good options. However, this does little to offset the numerous failings across all other areas. Overall, this hotel does not meet the standards expected of a 5-star establishment in any meaningful way. There are clearly far better options nearby, and we would strongly advise others to consider them instead.

Our rooms (1118 and 1119) were excellent, featuring all modern amenities and maintained perfectly by the hardworking housekeeping team. The highlight of our trip was once again the hospitality of Chef Pritpal Singh Bakshi. He is incredibly humble and, in my opinion, the best chef in Goa. Even with a temporary gas supply shortage in the area affecting some food options, the team ensured we were well taken care of. From the smooth valet parking to the ideal location, everything was spot on. As regular guests, we want to give a big thanks to Chef Pritpal Singh Ji and the staff. Looking forward to our next visit!

For Example : We had repeat option of Mini Uttapam. Pool Cleanliness to be maintained as Powder type dust was seen at the edge of the pool thru out in the water.

In fact there was no view as window was blocked by sheeeting and a huge pipe. Room was dirty. shower flooded the bathroom, only 1 towel provided for 2 people and it smelled of damp. Hotel photos on website are completely misleading as pool area was not what we were expecting.

- Venture07270283677 (4/5): Disappointing Stay and Poor Guest Experience - We stayed at Novotel Candolim Beach for 2 nights and unfortunately did not have a pleasant experience. The property is quite far from the beach, and there is no shuttle service provided by the hotel. One can still walk like for 1.5kms but walking to the beach is also inconvenient, as there is no proper footpath along the way. The hotel was under renovation during our stay, and we found the front desk staff to be rude and unhelpful. The play area was also closed due to the renovation, which was disappointing. However, the only advantage of the location is that it is in the middle of the market, so there are multiple restaurants and shops nearby. The breakfast was average, and the rooms felt very old and tired. Overall, we would not recommend this property. Also, if any kind of renovation is going on, it would be better for the hotel to inform guests at the time of booking, as it is quite inconvenient to find out after arrival.

- 867saurabhp (8/5): Great hotel. Avoidable spa - Good property. Good location. The spa on the other hand is surprisingly below par. Some of their therapists are unskilled and u trained. The therapist my wife got was astonishingly unskilled. Forget relaxation, it was an unsettling therapy, not to mention potentially dangerous as an amateur can cause damage with therapy. So if a spa in the hotel is on your list then avoid. Else, go for it.

- Adventure18783135000 (4/5): Be mindful in case you have a high expectation from this hotel - The property has a convenient location though far away from the beach. They do not have a drop facility to and from the beach, but while booking it was mentioned that the facility was available. The ambience is typically corporate, not a very family focused hotel. Therefore the behavior of the staff is rather curt and lack the warmth and friendliness you expect on a family vacation. The deluxe rooms come with a balcony, though all that we could see was walls of the next building from the balcony. The room was spacious well arranged. There was a severe problem with the AC. On our anniversary evening, we had the electrician Sagar come in and out of our room very 15 mins starting at 9-30 pm for two hours yet were not able to fix the AC problem. Finally at 11-30 in the night they just switched of the AC from the central control with no information to us. The Duty Manager Akshita, pleaded helplessness which obviously did not help to make our situation any better. She assured us to be upgraded the next day, which also did not happen. No apologies or even acknowledgement for extreme harassment on our anniversary from the hotel The good news when we just by chance switched on the AC in the midnight, it started cooling and worked well for the rest of our stay. The breakfast had very limited considering a brand of repute like Novotel So if you are looking for a enjoyable stay with your family, just be mindful that it may just not happen.

- Ruslan (6/5): 3 раза терял время и бегал чтобы поменять ключи , так как дверь постоянно не открывалась. В момент пребывания приходили - Понравилась зона рецепшн и отзывчивость персонала. У меня был номер - роскошный. В номере было очень пыльно. Номер требует улучшения. Перила и скамейки на балконе очень грязные и их никто не моет. У меня был номер с ужином и корзиной пива при заезде. никто даже ничего не сказал и не предложил) В ресторане на ужине персонал очень отзывчивый, но не знает что к чему . В первый день на ужине нам сказали у вас включена и пицца, и основное блюдо и паста. На второй день сказали что это все за дополнительную плату. На третий день и вовсе - такого у нас нет в меню . В день рождение в номере сделали торт из полотенец и записку на куске бумаге , что немножко обрадовало- внимание , но не ожидая такой скудности от новотеля. А в 19:00 перед ужином принесли торт . А сладкое я ем только до 15:00. Никто не спрашивал . Лучше бы принесли комплиментом бутылку вина . Еда в рестораны острая вся! Днем на обед салаты - шведский стол и два блюда на выбор. В один из дней в номере поставили воду в пластиковых бутылках, а обычно во всех новотелях ставят в стекле.
