• Duane (8/5): Overall a good experience. - Location and rooms were great. Pool and fitness rooms were very nice as well. Freighters restaurant is Excellent. I do wish however that some sort of breakfast discount or Inclusion was offered with stay. Water pressure from the shower was very weak. Was difficult to even get the soap rinsed from our hair. I did mention it and they did change the shower head. It helped a little but it is really more about adjusting the water pressure so it comes out faster. This is a big deal for us.

• Jill (4/5): Very disappointed in the cleanliness in the front desk, lady was quite rude and not very welcoming - The location, the bed was comfortable The lady at the front desk was not resourceful. It was almost like I was bothering her because I asked her what kind of restaurants were around. We are not from the area at all and never been there before. Also, there was a wedding going on which I understand about music, but the base was so loud. We could hear it all the way in room 213 and we’ve stayed at many Hilton’s and this was far the dirtiest one I’ve ever stayed at from the pool area vents were black. With dirt and dust to the thick layer of dust right under the headboard and we only knew that because my husband dropped his phone there was no information in the room as far as what is around what is there to do and that’s very surprising normally there’s a brochure of some sort.

The noise from people power washing something in the parking lot at 10:30 at night was a bit annoying, but it wasn't too bad. Restaurant attached to hotel did not have the best food or service for dinner. Despite that we will still come again!

• Travelscouts4fun (10/5): Excellent stay! - We arrived quite late at night, unexpectedly needing a place to stay in the area. Michael at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! We were experiencing a small crisis, but his kindness, speed at checking us in, and his thoughtfulness made us feel very happy and relieved. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and everything about the stay was perfect. We highly recommend this hotel!

• David (10/5): Charming and pleasant stay. - View was fantastic. Nice staff. Always wanted to stay at the "Edison Inn" which is the name I prefer. Facility was clean. Bisquits and gravy from the menu was disappointing as the gravy was tasteless, the bisquit was flat, and the eggs tasted fake and should have been on the side rather than on the gravy.

The response to my complaint about being served cold food which had been left at the hostess station. I placed a food order that ended up being left at the host station for well over an hour because they said they didn't know my room number despite being provided with my first name which is foreign and therefore unique. I was served the pricey but cold food. It didn't appear they were very competent with processing room orders in a timely manner.

The girl at the desk didn't know what she was doing and couldn't help us get a different room because she said that they were busy. She also spelled our last name wrong so we couldn't sign into their wifi 🙄. It happens frequently and we were able to figure it out and use the incorrect spelling to sign in

• nes24 (8/5): Clean, quiet, and comfortable - Overall, a really nice stay. I booked a standard room with two queen beds. Pros: • The hotel was quiet and other guests were respectful. I slept great - beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was very clean, and while I could hear a little freeway noise, it didn’t affect my sleep at all. • Plenty of hot water with good water pressure in the shower. • The in-room fridge and microwave were convenient. The fridge did have a loud hum at night, so I unplugged it to sleep, but it kept drinks cold during the day. • Great gym setup with several commercial-quality treadmills and enough space to move around. The jacuzzi worked perfectly with enough space for several people. • I loved being able to do an 8-mile run straight from the hotel along the river walk - really nice path with bridge and water views. • Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff was fine - no issues. • Short drive to food and shopping (about 10 minutes). Cons: • I was a little surprised I wasn’t offered the welcome cookies at check-in, especially visiting over the holidays. It’s a small thing, but it would have made a difference. • The room could use more outlets. The bedside charging station only had one outlet and one USB port, which wasn’t very practical.

• NSF4040 (10/5): Fall 2025 - Right on the river and there is a city park between the motel and the river. Room was spacious enough for our needs. Enough towels, firm bed, quiet room and plenty of parking because they have a convention center next door. Comment. We paid extra for a room viewing the water to watch the ships go by. Remember there is a city park right in front with parking and you can go there to enjoy the boats going by and the riverfront. You can save some money by not asking for a water view. Also, the motel is within a couple of miles of the lighthouse and light ship there in Port Huron.

We were able to walk around and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back. Kinda a long haul from the lobby to the room but honestly well worth it.

• Alicia (8/5): Reservation photos are false advertising - Friendly service, clean room, nice faculties. When purchasing a room, there are photos attached before booking. The photos when booking were not remotely close to the room we were given. We purchased a room under the impression the view would be the same as the photo of the specific room during the reservation process. We arrived to have a room directly above outdoor seating to the restaurant below and felt we could not even use our outdoor balcony during the entire stay, which was the main reason we reserved a room and paid extra for a room with a view. I felt the reservation process was deceptive and false advertisement. Be aware when reserving a room, if you think you're getting a great view of the bridge and river, you probably are not.
