Guest Reviews
- Adriana (10/5): - lovely place and wonderful service
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Agnes is an experienced and lovely hostess. She gave us a great recommendation for the evening meal: The Locke Bar / pub a short distance from King John’s Castle in Limerick, and she guided us exactly where to look for parking and to walk over one of the bridges over the River Shannon. The Locke had a lively atmosphere, good food and service, great traditional music at 9pm.
The breakfast next morning was delicious and conversation delightful.
Our room was a bit tight but nicely decorated.
- am (10/5): Breakfast amazing - Best breakfast I have gotten in a while.. fresh fruit, yoghurt, homemade banana bread or brown soda bread.. choice of full Irish, smoked salmon and scrambled egg or bacon and French toast.. we were there for wedding as it so close to radisson blu. Owner offered to drive us down to hotel. Really fantastic host. Rooms are nice but old school. I would def stay again.
- sandi (10/5): Fantastic! - This B & B is a must stay. Agnes, the owner, was awesome. The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable! The breakfast served was wonderful! She is a great cook! (Wait till you taste her banana bread) She also was super helpful with what to see in the area! I could go on and on but I think you get the picture! This B & B is very close (5 minutes) to Bunratty Castle which has a great Village of original buildings around it turned into interesting shops! We also took in the midevil banquet there which was altogether too much fun! So if you’re looking for a place to stay in Limerick, look no more. Book this B&B.
- Elsie (10/5): - Agnes was attentive warm and welcoming and she is an excellent cook. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
- Yoke (6/5): Could be better - The host was very friendly. The B & B was old, dated furnishing . The room was adequate size. The bed was soft but ok. The tea making was on a tiny shelf up on the wall, not user friendly. The bathroom was good size but the shower had no pressure at all. The room had a strong perfume cleaning smell which is a bit over powering esp. for a Hayfever sufferer. Breakfast cooked to order was good. Overall, ok for an overnight stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): arrived late with our hostess very accommodating - our hostess recommended Conor Pass and the Dingle Ring; saved us hours of doing the Ring of Kerry and was incredibly beautiful, not too crowded and just what we were looking for - terrific breakfast and our joyful, accommodating hostess made it a very pleasant stay!
- Marcin.S (10/5): Best B&B around Limerick and further. - Super place. Very clean, neat. Fantastic, friendly atmosphere as well as Lady Landlord . We really relax.Cordially greet You.(Thanks for delicious banana bread:)
- Andrew (10/5): Lovely host and FANTASTIC Breakfast! - We had a lovely stay at the Moyrhee B & B recently. A little bit of communication as to how to get in would have been helpful (as the host was on her way back from travelling and we had to call to figure out how to get in), but it was very straightforward once we got a mobile number and called. The room was very comfortable. The host is lovely and very friendly. The highlight of the stay was the breakfasts - AMAZING!!! Definitely would stay here again just for that.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to Shannon airport - Agnes was a wonderful owner but the room had an odor and the mattress was really soft. If you are looking for a great location, a lovely view then this is a nice place. But if you are picky about a room I would look elsewhere. The bed was uncomfortable, there wwas no place to sit and read and the smell was so musty we good an air freshener but that didn't help much.
- Roger (8/5): Nice B&B, easy access to Limerick. - B&B owner was extremely gracious with accommodations and helpful with locations/directions.
- Brian (10/5): Amazing service, warm and hospitable reception. - Agnes was so friendly and a great cook! She was eager to share her travel advice and Irish history insights. We loved the beautiful room and surrounding view. I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone trying to stay in the area.
- Lisa (10/5): Awesome place and location - Agnes was a wonderful host. Nice location, clean, well priced, mull breakfasts! Would stay here again!
- Kristina (8/5): Quiet place outside of the city - Agnes was very pleasant and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. We did show up at check in time and no one was there, after a short drive, she was there. Our neighbors were really loud in the middle of the night and the doors were a little sticky that made it loud.
We went to Bunratty Castle for their medieval feast and our daughter loved it. It was really close to the castle and Durty Nellies.
- Kevin (10/5): Very nice place to stay, would recommend... - Owner, Agnes was very hospitable and informative. Provided evening coffee and historical information about the area and Ireland... since it was our first time to the country. Everyone we came across in Ireland was friendly.
- Heather (10/5): A great place to begin our two week visit to - Agnes is a wonderful host. We were welcomed into her home as if we were family. Breakfast was lovingly cooked and served. Agnes provided advice on everything we might need getting around Limerick. The bathroom is tiny, but had everything and served its purpose. There is a huge window that looks out over rolling hills, and cattle in the field across the road. It was a great place to begin our two week visit to Iteland.
- Darlene (10/5): Highly recommend this B&B to any traveler - This was the best place we stayed during our 12 day visit to Ireland. Agnes made us feel right at home and served the most delicious breakfasts. She was so helpful in giving us directions and letting us know where the best places to go were. I would definitely recommend this B&B for anyone who is planning on visiting Bunratty and Adare. Wish I could have stayed there the whole visit.
- Jayne (8/5): Yummy breakfast and friendly host! - A clean and comfortable room with a friendly and helpful host. Lots of variety at breakfast - yummy!
- Gearoid (10/5): Great value - Very clean and welcoming. Good breakfast
- Kathleen (8/5): Helpful Hostess - Agnes was very helpful with tips on places to visit, maps, etc. Breakfast was great and the location was easy to find. Only negative was the double room we booked ahead of time was not available, so we (mother & daughter) had to share a bed. The rooms, however, were nice and clean. Overall, good experience. Would just recommend calling ahead the day of to verify the room.
