Guest Reviews
- PAT MX (1/5): - Nothing and I want a refund back please and thank you Very Dirty and mildew in the Shower and refrigerator paint peeling of the wall
- Kazza (1/5): Do not stay here. - Nothing The first room, the key card wouldn't let me in. The second room smelled of cigarette smoke, the microwave didn't heat up food, there was a cigarette burn in the blanket, a big one, the door wouldn't lock and the fridge wasn't very clean. There was no end table lamp. The towels were paper thin and had stains, ALL of them. I left, I couldn't stay.

- Stephen (6/5): You get what you pay for. - Good price and location for what I wanted to do in area. Needed a night to stay locally to catch up with a friend for dinner. First room I was put into, a smoker had been in there. Even though it was to be non-smoking, it smelled strongly of cigarettes, and also had cigarette burns in the bed cover. I asked to be moved and was put into a much better looking and smelling room. The negative about this 2nd room, is the shower water temperature. The dial did not allow for full range to get desired temperature; it had two temperatures .... very hot and scalding. I was able to take a shower under the very hot, but did not stay under for long. I informed the desk upon check-out so hopefully they can work to fix the temperature issue before someone gets hurt.
- Lori (10/5): Nice! - Simple, clean, quiet. spacious, fresh air, friendly staff, comfortable bed, great location, and all the amenities I needed! would have been handy to have ice cube trays, coffee cup, plate, etc.
- Hinkle (7/5): The counter staff was very friendly very efficient very helpful. Hotel should have staff like him. - No, breakfast was available or offered It was just a little far away from town, but the drive wasn’t bad

- Lisa (3/5): We were uncomfortable all night. - Bathroom was clean. End stands were visibly dusty, microwave had greasy food spots on the outside, pillows and beds were uncomfortable, the blanket was the material of a curtain, very small room, heard every noise outside. The distance on bookme was wrong and took me an hour from location.
- Lewis (3/5): - I like the cost of the room. The room wasn't very clean. I was give a room with a double bed when booked a room with a single. I was also charged an additional twelve dollars once on the premises.

- Howard (2/5): - Shower curtain was dirty not washed. Sink was stopped up.
- DIANA (6/5): - Never again!
- Tyler (4/5): - Sink wouldn’t drain, spider webs and bugs in room, and broken light fixtures in room.
- Amanda (2/5): - The staff was very friendly. The guy behind the counter was very nice and had very customer service skills. He was very pleasant. The rooms were not clean. There was used soap still in the soap dish. The room had not been vacuumed and there was mold and mildew on the shower stall
- Bill (5/5): - No breakfast room was ok No breakfast or coffee

- Gary (4/5): - Basically no services whatsoever. No coffee pods, no amenities at all. Very disappointed.
- Tana (8/5): - Owners were friendly. Nice bike path for walking nearby. No frills. No tissues, no shampoo.
- Patricia (6/5): - Needs some definite updates, floor in bathroom dirty, shower curtain was disgusting, thread bare towels, items on rug near bed frame never vacuumed, the walls in room, disgusting could use some washing, looked like a pop can exploded on wall, there was so much dust on nightstand and table lamp, my husband dusted it. Air conditioner worked but only one speed. Beds were okay we were so tired after a day at LLWS we slept well. The owners or managers were kind, just needs cleaned better. Next year we’ll look for another hotel.

- Tami (4/5): - I have stayed here many times, but we won't be back. The staff is awesome as always, however they were renting weekly and/or monthly to several people who pulled room tables and chairs to the walkway and the were drinking alcohol. I did not feel safe. Before 10pm they were getting loud but I ignored it and they settled down and I fell asleep. I was rudely awakened at 3:30am to very loud bass from music vibrating my room. I got my phone to call the desk but then it stopped by the time I googled the phone number. About 5 minutes later it happened again and then again at 4am and then it finally stopped. I had driven all day that day and would have liked to sleep as I had to drive all day again. I know they need to make money, but to rent to people like this will chase the good customers like me away. As I stated previously, I won't be back and no longer recommend this establishment.
- Stephen (3/5): -
- Michael (4/5): Won't stay here again - This motel did not have ice or coffee available, and the toilet leaked. The manager responded with towel to soak up the water on the floor, since a plumber was not quickly available. The ice and coffee unavailability was to save money for the motel.
- Jerome (3/5): Poor -
- Hillyer (3/5): Poor - What breakfast? The room was at least 90 degrees. No drinking cups. Refrigerator could not keep anything cold. Maybe cause the room was so hot. But yes the air conditioner did work.
- Stephen (1/5): Bad -
- Rock (2/5): Avoid this motel, it is NOT smoke free! - The rooms were declared to be smoke free; however, the top blanket on the bed clearly had multiple burn marks from cigarettes. The rooms smelled smokey and my wife immediately reacted to the smell. She is allergic to cigarette smoke and had to use her nebulizer. We were given a second room to try, but we had the same reaction. We decided we could not stay there due to the musty, smokey smell and overall stink in the rooms. The proprietor said he would refund our fee; but did he did not, so we paid for a room we could not stay in.
- Specht (1/5): Creepy movie room - Price The room smelled musty/old, the AC was broken(see pic), the mattress was on the floor(see pic), and the curtains were put up with push pins(see pic) There is a wall of mirrors, which was a big NOPE for me (i didn't get a chance to take a pic. I turned around and left). I was told to either take the rooms (got 2 of them) or lose my money. It was so bad we left and lost our money. The shower, sink and bed were all in the same room. No walls. The toilet was in the door in the pic. I have asked the owner through booking.com for a refund and nothing yet. It felt like a creepy murder movie in the room. There was no way I letting my daughter stay in the other room. Never even looked in that room. We left right away. Cheap room, you get what you pay for.
- Chester (6/5): - The property is in bad condition
- Angela (5/5): Passable -
- Tracie (8/5): - Close to where I needed to be
- Metcalf (5/5): Passable - Mirror in the bathroom was cracked, The drains were clogged, sheets made me itchy.
beyond that it was an okay place nothing to write home about ya know?
- Pophal (7/5): Good -
- Donald (8/5): Definitely a good place for the price - Great value and very friendly staff Didn’t have coffee in the room
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Everyone was very friendly. Easy to park. There isn’t much in amenities but for the price it kind of doesn’t really matter.
- Emily (9/5): Superb -
- Rachael (6/5): - It was quiet and convenient to restaurants downtown. The hair dryer didn’t work and the bed wasn’t that comfortable. Front office staff was nice. It was clean but could use some updating. The refrigerator door wouldn’t stay closed.
- Ellis (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberly (10/5): Exceptional -
- mike (8/5): - nice, simple stay,,,,close to shopping but nice and quiet, good manager up front
- Duwayne (8/5): Good stop over - Quiet, low key comfortable No complaints other than the towels are thin
- Nyjatay (8/5): Very good -
- Nyjatay (8/5): Very good -
- Bobbie (6/5): Unsure of management - The shower curtain was nasty! ONE very tiny bottle of shampoo for TWO people! No tissues. No coffee or complimentary breakfast as stated in the advertisement online! No partial refund if paid online. I paid online! False advertisement! And the room spelled of rotten food.
- Fredric (7/5): We got what we expected for the price we paid. - Room was very clean. Facility appears to have been redone. Broken lamp in the room. Shower temperature could not be regulated. No laundry bag provided.
- Kim (6/5): - Did not like that they did not have an elevator for my handicapped.hisband. Was not handicapped accessible in any way. Had
- Paul (2/5): - I can not believe that this dump of a place is open to the public. When I entered the building, the office did not have proper lighting or even any kind of illumination so I can see what around me. The office had a bell, so no one was managing the desk. I asked for a non-smoking room. So, the key to my room was handed to me and I proceeded to the outside area. The people next to me or room did smoke. Leading toward my room, there was an ash tray or looked like a potted plant container that had cigarette butts in it. My shock was that it was never emptied. And once again, no light in the hallway. The container must have had 50-75 butts in it. There was no ventilation in the room, no window, the beds were made for sleeping a small person (very tiny) and the lock was broken. The carpets were dirty, bed was made, but the smell was again unbearable. This no one star Motel, It should be brought to the attention for no one should stay in this dump of a place.
- Lynsey (4/5): Was sketchy, dirty, things didn’t work. I didn’t even end up staying the night there. Left late at night due to sketchin - Staff was friendly Room was kind of dirty, lights didn’t work. Suspicious of someone going into room while I was not there
- Tracie (8/5): Very good -
- Anthony (10/5): - This is my first time visiting the budget inn, and it was a better experience than the last two motels I stayed at in this area. The staff on site were very friendly, I will be back.
- Dmitri (8/5): Good quick stay just to sleep on the road, not comfy or cozy - checkin was smooth and the owner was very friendly bedsheets were paper thin and while the carpet was clean I think it was responsible for the room smelling less then fresh
- Kinzua (8/5): Very good -
- Donald (3/5): Got through it okay. At least the bedding was clean. But never staying there again. - There was a problem with the room I was first given (deadbolt didn't work) and ....after a discussion and my insistance, I was given a different room. In spite of everything, I did appreciate that. The first room I was given had a deadbolt that didn't work. I did not feel safe with just the electronic handle lock. I asked for a different room, and at first the owner was reluctant, but did give me a different room. The new room locked properly but some items in the room were disgustingly dirty, such as the tv screen (looked like dirty liquid dried on the screen) and the remote (so sticky, you didn't want to touch it.)
- Ray (7/5): Good -
- Jill (3/5): Poor -
- Tim (1/5): Bad -
- Terence (10/5): Best price, friendly staff, clean and safe. - Staff was friendly. I enjoyed the views from my room. The bed was comfy and all the cable channels you’d need. I come here all the time when traveling and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere but here. My room had a microwave and mini fridge. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like
- Wilmer (1/5): The worst hotel in central Pennsylvania - Nothing was pleasant about my experience. This hotel was so horrific that I left an hour after checking in to travel in icy road conditions to a new hotel. The entire place was unsanitary. The lighting didn’t work very well. The room smelled horrific. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy if I had one.
- Alves (6/5): Good budget hotel - The staff was nice and welcoming. It was close to the hospital and easy to get to many stores. I was staying because my mom was in UPMC hospital. I had to check out at 11 pm due to an emergency, the staff was understanding and helpful. The bathroom light did not turn off so the fan was on all the time. This was very annoying to hear when trying to go to sleep. I called the office to have it fixed, but it was not fixed during my stay.
- Eric (6/5): - If you need a cheap place, this is it. It’s fine if you don’t need anything other than a safe inexpensive bed for a night or two.
- Samantha (8/5): Good for the value - The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. There was no WiFi password provided and the service in the area is bad.
- Shultz (5/5): Less than I expected. - I didn't get breakfast, I had an alp day visit elsewhere. Unclean room, no towels
- Janelle (4/5): - To start, I have zero qualms against the owners. They’re actually very nice & never had an issue with them. I was at this hotel as I lost my home due to Hurricane Debby. This motel was close, convenient & what we could afford. In my time there, there was a convicted S/O beside us for awhile that screamed at his girlfriends children all hours of the night & a drug raid where myself, spouse & child got to hear a door being blasted down & people getting arrested. But that’s not the worst. There’s an older gentleman that lives on the property, I’m assuming another owner or relation. The older gentleman came to my door (he doesn’t speak a word of English) with money in his hand, attempting to give it to me, signaling that he wanted me to come to his room. Using hand methods, he showed me exactly what he wanted for me to have that money. No thank you.
Overall, as a whole, I won’t recommend. It’s incredibly tiny, there’s exposed wires in a few places, & I have seen a mouse once but if you just need minimum to get by, it IS what you’re looking for. But take heed to the other reviews.
- Robin (8/5): Very good - The staff friendly and ready to help. The 2 nd room we got was very clean and comfortable I did not like the first room they put us in. Everything was broken (except for the refrigerator and the room seemed dark and very musty. I am wondering why we were given that room in the first place while obviously there were much better rooms. All in all I would stay there again
