Unfortunately the adjustments were temporary so they happily moved us to another room right across the hall. We will stay their again.

Booking.com said parking was free, but I received a bill for parking. (They did credit me however when I called them) But I still would have been charged if I had not noticed) The bathroom door kept trying to shut when it was open. No breakfast included

- gremlin82 (8/5): Good choice overall - Chose this to be local to where I was working and it proved a good choice. Room had two Queen beds so was a good size and well appointed. Wasn't a problem that the freeway is close by, noise didn't really bother. However, room was only cleaned 3 times in my 10 day stay. Is this the way we are heading? That was disappointing. Also the TV lost its internet settings regularly requiring it to be rebooted. Staff were unfailingly friendly and the small restaurant was useful for breakfasts. Good sports bar and gas station within 50 yards of the front door.

- O4107SDshirleyl (10/5): Excellent Stay - We are very discerning hotel guest and usually stay at 4 or 5 star hotels but had to be close to Family so booked this hotel on a recommendation. We praise this hotel on many levels. As soon as we walked in Sade at the front desk greeted us warmly and every other front desk person was just as gracious.! We stayed four nights in room 502. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. One of us used the gym every morning and all equipment was functional. The only con was the a/c was very noisy but highly functional which is critical July in Texas. On the day that we checked out, we got hung up at the airport with the fiasco of the IT world wide bug. When I called the hotel, they immediately let us have our room back for another night at the same rate so we felt very fortunate. They had been sold out in nights previous. When returning to Houston we would certainly stay here again.

- Matthew (2/5): What is the point of using your site? why do this? - This was a staycation we had planned for my better half. I reserved the balcony room because she has always wanted to stay in one of these rooms. I reserved the room put in my info gave cc info. When we arrived at 3;05 the lady checking us in told us that our check in wasn't until 4:00 pm. Regardless of the fact that my itinerary clearly says 3 and I know that is the check in time at this hotel due the fact I have stayed here before multiple times. The very first thing I said to her was I reserved a balcony room suite and I want to make sure I have the room I reserved. She said oh yes your reservation is here and you have the room we just have a titanium member in that room and they decided to do a 4 pm checkout. We went and sat by the pool to wait for our room. She then informed us about 30-45 minutes later that the guest who had stayed in the room the night before decided to stay another day so we would not get the room I had reserved and paid for. Instead she downgraded us to a horrible room that we did not want. This truly ruined our experience. We staycation often and by far this was the worst experience we have ever had. I felt embarrassed, humiliated, insulted and discriminated against all at the same time.
- Pstrnistejr (4/5): Less than average hotel - This hotel is located in suburban Houston behind a 7/11 and dive bar and next to a major highway. It’s one of the few Marriott properties in a 20 mile radius. The rooms are from the 80s. Amenities are far below average. No water in the room. At check in for a two night stay they asked me if I wanted my room cleaned the next day and I said yes please. Of course there were no free upgrades available which seems to be the norm with Marriott’s loyalty program. They didn’t clean the room or drop off towels and I was informed when I inquired that rooms are cleaned every other day. They did provide towels. No waters in the room and to boot they charged me $7 per day to park rental car in their oversized outside lot. They also have a popular smoking area that was below my room and every so often cigarette smoke would drift up and infiltrate the room. It also occasionally drifted through the vents. I won’t stay here again.
- Pam (10/5): Wonderful Stay - Booked this last minute so didn’t know what to expect. Sadie greeted us and got us checked in and off to our room quickly. Room was great, very clean, comfy bed. We could not get WiFi to work so Sadie came to our room to check things out. Very much appreciate Sadie’s customer service attitude!

- Rick (6/5): - Clean and safe hotel. Staff did not address unnecessarily loud guests late at night and their bistro was run by employees with very low customer service skills. How long should a customer wait at the counter to purchase their breakfast and not even get acknowledged “we will be with you in a moment”. It is understandable when a business is busy. It is not acceptable to be ignored and not even acknowledged. We left the hotel to find something to eat. Poor Bistro management and terrible customer service skills from their employee

- Michael (8/5): A great place to stay - It was clean and the staff was helpful and accommodating. Our fridge wasn’t working, they replaced it and paid for lost food. Hotel lost power in a storm and the comped that night on their own. The pool is awful. No steps to get into the raised hot tub, a ramp that takes up over half the pool making it difficult for more than 4 or 5 people to enjoy the pool.

- Fred (8/5): The staff and management offset any negative comments I might have! - The staff was fantastic while the property was confronted with a weather problem that it had absolutely no control over! As a result, the staff, made our stay more palatable by their attitude and attention to detail! The weather causing the electricity to fail within the property!
- dariannv2024 (10/5): Amazing!!! - Ollie and Everett were amazing! They were so accommodating. The power went out in the middle of the night. They rehoused us in a neighboring hotel for so many of us in our party. We were here for a Rally for loved ones we lost to the Covid protocols. They spent countless hours helping reroute our party. No words can really express how much we appreciated their help. They truly didn’t need to do what they did since it was out of their hands with the power outage.

- Constance (8/5): - No one ever came and cleaned our room or emptied the trash cams for the two days we were there. Also, upon inspection of the room when we got there, the bathroom door stopper was faulty, and the cabinet door to the fridge/mirowave was off the hinge.
- Jeffrey (8/5): Very good - Nice room, nice shower, friendly staff. Didn't service the room when they said. Only one day of coffee, and were supposed to clean and service room every other day. The TV was very small.

- Roxanne (2/5): Dont stay here! - This '5 star' hotel has dummy cameras around the property. Zero cameras looking in the parking lot. Our stay started with the TV not working. When reported they sent maintenance up and they said, 'We have a lot of trouble with the tvs. They are old. You just have to unplug them sometimes to get them to work.' I had to unplug every time i wanted to watch Tv during my 6 day stay. The next morning I needed to use their computer and printer for business and their internet was out. It ended up being out for 5 of the 6 days I was there. Then their machines went down that program your room card. On day 2, my card stopped working. They couldn't fix it. Everytime I left, they had to escort me to my room. 3rd night, while waiting to get an escort or my key fixed a gentleman wanted into a room he was NOT on the reservation. One guy followed protocol (and safety) and was not going to let him up. Another guy, because he escorted him up the day before said, 'its OK, I've taken him up yesterday.' The one still didn't want to do it... which is the way it should be. How do they know the person on the reservation wanted him back up there? How do they know they didn't get into a fight earlier? You just never know. I personally put anyone with me (except minors) name at front desk so they know it's ok for them to have a key. On the 5th night, we parked in front of the side door, just feet away from the bar and restaurant, and in full view of the camera and MY CAR WAS STOLEN! BEWARE!!!
