Shereen (10/5): Apart from everything else it was absolutely amazing - It was very clean and quiet…family friendly… love it I think they need to open the bar from about 12 noon instead of 3 pm and extend the time past 10:30 pm …the breakfast menu needs upgrading too much American food and not a wide variety…after 2 days I would not want that..

I stayed with my 4 yo granddaughter and it was the place perfect for us. Can’t recommend it highly enough if you are looking for a tranquil beach getaway.

Camilo (9/5): Excelente hotel. - Rayon es un hotel clásico las instalaciones amplias con arte interior muy auténtico y muy bonito. La habitación era mucho mejor en la realidad que en las fotos. Cama cómoda (algo alta), buena televisión y muy amplio e iluminado. A dos casas hay una iglesia q da misa católica y una casa después un restaurante delicioso. Aunque no tiene playa, el acceso es al frente y solo es cruzar unos 60 Metros y tienes todo el mar hermoso de negril. El Hotel nos ayudó buscando un transporte confiable y seguro para ir a Montego Bay. Personal amable se esforzaba por hacerlo a uno sentir Muy bien El desayuno un poco simple, la explicación era por el huracán, pero de todas formas quedaba uno bien para comenzar el día. Otro aspecto (no del Hotel) sino en general El precio de los taxis muy costosos.

Hommikusöök võiks olla juba kella seitsmest hommikul kuna tellida tuli menüüst ja see võttis väga kaua aega (ca 30 minutit tellimisest) ning varasemat hommikusööki ei võimaldatud. Vannituba vajab uuendamist, samuti oli meil toas kolm inimest aga rätikuid oli kahele, mistõttu tuli rätikuid igapäevaselt juurde küsida.

Nicola (10/5): Lovely Hotel and Staff - This hotel is a true gem. The staff can’t be more helpful, kind and sweet. We arrived before 10:00 to check in and we only had to wait a short time to go to our room. I didn’t get the names of the staff but the amazing lady in the restaurant is just so sweet and the fab lady at the reception was brilliant, along with the other fantastic staff! The hotel has access to beaches across the road which are beautiful. Breakfast is included with the option of continental or Jamaica breakfast……. plus a pancakes, waffles etc. we also had dinner in the restaurant one evening which was yummy and cooked to order. Will be back for sure when back in Negril.

From the moment we booked, Tamara was brilliant – she handled our reservation and check-in so smoothly, making everything effortless. When we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and even received a free upgrade, which made our trip extra special! The owner, Pansy, is absolutely awesome – she really makes you feel like part of the family, and that homely vibe is what sets this place apart. Miller, the security guard, was always around and made us feel safe and comfortable, while Kerianne at the restaurant served us breakfast with a big smile every morning – such a lovely way to start the day! Housekeeping was on point – our room was spotless throughout our stay. The location is perfect – close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. Hotel Rayon has that welcoming, homely feel that makes you never want to leave. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and location. Highly recommend staying here – we’ll definitely be back!

This is my 2nd time here, first time was 6yrs ago and everything still looked beautiful.... Wish I could've spent more time but busy with graduations . There's nothing I didnt like the only think I wish was capable was a lil more room around the pool for tanning or laying out. The setup is beautiful 😍

849marciab (8/5): Visit to Negril Jamaica - This hotel is not on the famous Negril seven mile beach the beach it is right across the road a five minute walk will get you there. The room was air conditioned, clean. had a refrigerator and bottled water and soft drinks provided in the refrigerator is complimentary. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. You get a choice of Jamaican or American breakfast.

Marissa (7/5): Good place to stay for the first night of our trip - We stayed here our first night before heading to our all-inclusive. Beautiful hotel, very kind and helpful staff. Pool was warm enough to use at night. Unfortunately the shower didn't have much heat or pressure, but apparently this is true of most hotels in the area. Location was amazing; walk a block south for the best food, across the street for the best souvenir shop and beach, or north to party.
Edita (10/5): Beautiful and peaceful hotel - This hotel is so beautiful. It is 150m from a 7mile beach. Breakfast was very good. Our daughter loved pancakes. Also the food in the evening was very tasty. Hotel has a nice swimming pool too. Every day cleaned room and all employess very nice.
Lunde (9/5): Gem of a property just across from 7 mile beach - The property was beautiful and quiet. Our room was perfect with a kitchen, sofa, king sized bed and nice balcony. The breakfast every morning was fantastic and made to order. All the staff were friendly, happy and inviting. We are already booked for next year this will be our new place! The bed was a bit high and little difficult to get into. If we were shorter there would have been an issue, also hard mattress after 21 days sleeping in it my body was ready for home.

Lisa (10/5): - Charming, locally owned property, across the street from the beach. We stayed in the villa; 2 adjoining bedrooms (and their own bathrooms), an eat-in kitchen and small sitting area. The accommodations were very clean and the beds, comfortable. There were some hiccups- they'd forgotten to turn on the water supply (quickly rectified), and one of the bathtubs leaked during showers. Several lightbulbs were burnt out, there were no batteries in the safe, and only enough dishes for two. The curtains fit tightly to the rods, so it wasn't easy to open them to let in light/air. One of the windows was missing a screen, and since we opted not to use the air conditioner, it got a little stuffy at times. But we spent little time in the rooms, opting to sit on the balcony when we were not on the beach. The included breakfast was a choice of Jamaican or American. Portions were generous, and included an appetizer of fresh fruit and cake. We had dinner at the restaurant once, and it was hearty and delicious (but be sure to order in advance). The staff was pleasant and helpful, from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the bartender. Our arranged transportation was friendly and on-time. The friendly security guard helped us cross the road, several times, making it far less daunting! Once across the road, it's a short walk to the beach, the star of the show! Overall, the property could use a little refresh, but it was more than suitable for our family of four. We would gladly return.

Also giving a shout out to Latoya (front desk) and Cosmo (security)! Definitely recommend this charming hotel for a quiet and relaxing stay.

970wandak (8/5): Good Place to stay in Negril - We had a pleasant stay at the Rayon Hotel in January 2025. The rooms were not fancy but quite adequate. The bathroom was ok - some upgrading required. The showers were ok - Jamaica is experiencing a water crisis and there is a water shortage . The pool is unheated and even in Jamaica , a pool could be cold I would suggest heating the pool for the winter season so make it more enjoyable for the guests to enjoy. The grounds were tropical and well groomed. Breakfast is included and a good selection to chose from and cooked to order. The food at this restaurant is very good and we would recommend the coconut shrimp - so good! There was a "customer appreciation night" food and drinks were included and a DJ played music. Fun! Great staff also, helpful and friendly. Couples come to this hotel every winter, speaking to customer satisfaction with the hotel. Upon checkout we received a gift of coffee and rum samples. There was not much problem to cross the road to SUN Beach and the rooms at the back are quiet. Thank you Rayon Hotel for everything!

Lee (8/5): Favourite hotel on 7 mile beach! - Lovely hotel, very comfortable, with outstanding staff and good facilities. Well located across the road from the beach, and a short walk from a shopping complex, so very easy to get supplies or go to the cash point (which is slightly problematic as they frequently are out of cash, or out of order, so frequency trips are sometimes necessary). Not much to complain about! The breakfasts have improved in variety since I last stayed in 2016, and there is now an eggs and bacon option, which is great. The older rooms could maybe do with a bit of an update, but they are super comfy and clean and have everything you need.
