Guest Reviews
- Sara (10/5): -
- Sophie Ithurria (10/5): Un lugar imprescindible, precioso y tranquilo - Habitación amplia, decoración retro muy cuidada, tranquilidad y paz.
Salón común precioso, vista al lago.
Desayuno perfecto.
- Sebastian (8/5): - BUEN DESAYUNO BUENA UBICACION EL BAÑO NECESITA MEJORAR
- Federico (10/5): -

- Robert (8/5): Great rustic getaway. - The property was located out of the overcrowded town. It is a rustic lake house with five rooms. Very relaxing and Valentina, the hostess was fabulous. There are two excellent, but expensive, restaurants right next door. The breakfast was outstanding. Because the building is old, the radiator heating didn’t take the chill off at night.
- Gonzalo (7/5): - Cálido Humedad !
- Ariel (10/5): -

- Xavier (9/5): Superb - This is an extraordinary place, built as a guest house in the 1940s. Almost everything in and around the house is from that period. Means also that some of the 2020s commodities are missing.
We were warmly welcomed, the bed are excellent, big rooms and healthy breakfast the next day. Big car park. The are not many facilities like restaurants and food stores in the direct vicinity.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philip (3/5): A regrettable stay and needs some updating - The location is good and by the lake although the main road is at the front of the building. This is a review of the master bedroom. The property needs a significant refresh and some maintenance. Everything from the dusty upholstered wall above the bed down to the creaking bedroom floorboards made me feel so uncomfortable. The handwritten check in book provides no data protection as you can read the details of all other guests as you write your details in. We had to challenge the exchange rate used despite being told it was the Argentine central bank rate (it was not from a basic online search whilst standing at the check in area). We (two people) were offered a breakfast to go as we were leaving before 0830 (start of breakfast) to go hiking and the offering was for no more than one person like we were expected to share a small ham and cheese sandwich. We had the breakfast the next day which was basic but nice.
- Vanja (9/5): Superb - Location is great. Breakfast was tasty with good options for everyone.
- Maria (9/5): Superb - Amazing location and the place is really relaxing near the lake. The house is beautiful well decorated and an amazing breakfast everyday peepared there
- Cynthia (8/5): Comfortable and tranquil place to stay! - We loved the indoor/outdoor shared living spaces. The breakfast inclusion and optional dinner were both excellent! Our hosts were very helpful with recommendations and renting a car. Our room was below the house so we had to go outside to get there. The bathroom didn’t have ventilation.
- Kar28 (8/5): Very good -
- Britta (9/5): Very relaxing stay in a unique surrounding - Beautiful old villa by the lake; rooms very comfortable; decorated with attention to details; very tasty breakfast with homemade medialunas; very nice hosts and staff; option for dinner, which is absolutely worth it, because of its regional ingredients of great quality The wifi is very bad; there are not many restaurants close; besides this everything great :)
- Patrick (9/5): Superb - Spacious room with comfy bed and powerful shower
Large common area available to relax outside of the room
Good breakfast spread - tasty and plentiful
Staff were very friendly and good communication in advance of stay Lots of noise from the busy road - could cause issues for light sleepers (I had to use earplugs to get to sleep as traffic still going up to 12pm and started again before 7am).
- Nilsa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Jewel on the Nahuel Huapi Lake with a perfect host - The Patagonian Lake House is an excellent place to stay. All rooms have a view over the lake. The interior is very well designed and cozy. In the surroundings you will find nice little restaurants of every price level. Opposite the house there you will find food trucks that offer take away food, within 100m there is a supermarket. You can ask for dinner in the Patagonian Lake House as well. Only 5km away there is the Llao Llao Peninsula, from where you can do hikes, bike tours or boat trips on the lake. The scenery is amazing. You can get there easily with public transport. It is just perfect
- Lodewijk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joppe (9/5): Superb - Authenticity of the place with great comfort, including a marvelous breakfast. Nothing all good
- Ann (7/5): Lake views, lovely bed room. - Beautiful room for sleeping. Lounge area had a great view. Slightly more shabby than chic! In house food of pizza and empanadas not great. Location on bus route, but they were on strike. Great taxi driver associated with hotel Slightly shabby and rather hostel like.
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (5/5): Passable - Nice view on the lake but quite noisy because of the road nearby. Good breakfast but we had to pay for an additional espresso ! We booked a 'junior suite', but the room was really disappointing with an extremely tiny and old furnished bathroom. Too expensive compared to similar locations !!!
- Sarah (8/5): Cute hotel felt like staying in a lodge - Gorgeous small hotel, great view of the lake, lovely staff. Easy to get the bus from the front of the hotel into town. Great breakfast. Great lounge room to relax in. The lounge room was a bit too warm, even though it was cold outside.
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional hotel with stunning view on the lake - Amazing place in front of the lake, the hotel is charming and well decorated, the room was comfortable and the staff very helpful. we appreciated the dinner and options provided for vegetarians. we really fell in love with the place and recommend it absolutely !
- Lisel (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the hosts and house very beautiful. The food was amazing! Location was pretty far from town but very quiet and beautiful. I should have researched more as we were unable to catch the bus without a Sube card which was unavaible to buy after 3pm from the tourist centre so relied heavily on taxis. Staff were wonderful and called taxis for us. Next time I will be more prepared!
- Hannah (9/5): Lovely little place - It's so beautiful - location and view exceptional Everything was great really!
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Great location for walks and excursions with lovely view of the lake. Friendly and helpful staff, restful atmosphere and a lawn to relax on. On the bus route too. Highly recommended.
- Penny (10/5): Home from home with amazing views! - We had the most beautiful stay at Los Juncos and even extended our time there because it was so good. Our room was perfectly decorators and had the most amazing views over the lake to wake up to. The staff were so friendly even despite our lack of Spanish. Breakfast each morning was fantastic with lovely home made croissants. The lounge downstairs was the perfect place to relax, read and take in the amazing views - it really felt like a home away from home. We cannot recommend staying here enough!
Eu cheguei a jantar lá no primeiro dia, comida boazinha, nada suuuuper demais.
Atendimento top!
Ah, vale lembrar que ele fica longe do centro, acho que é o maior “defeito”. Fica no circuito chico. Vantagem que é super tranquilo de noite.
- Joep (10/5): - Los Juncos is a very beautifull Boutique hotel with an amazing view at the Lake Nahuel Hapi; Lucas is the best host we had in Argentina and served the best breakfast we had during our trip.
We enjoyed the special atmosphere and can recommend this place to everybody.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Small hotel. Very welcoming - A little old fashioned but staff very good and helpful. Food excellent.
- Leandro (10/5): Incrível - Incrível
- Bruce (6/5): - Fun to meet the owner and other guests
Invitado a volver.
- Ernest (10/5): - Very helpful staff, and excellent food! Beautiful view
- tess allen (10/5): Magical hotel with atmosphere - Agostina is a wonderful host in a unique quirky hotel with delicious food and calm relaxing environment. It is out of the hustle and bustle of Bariloche and close to some beautiful walks. Highly reommended
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent Value at this Special B&B - My wife and I Atayed four nights. The owner of the B&B is Agustina and she is a very warm and caring person. Agustina is a marvelous cook so it was a real treat to enjoy two dinners that she made for us. All the food was healthy, home cooked and very tasty. If you are going to take some scenic drives, visit the Lao Lao Resort or go one on of the scenic boat rides on the Lake the location of this Lodging is excellent
- Wilson (4/5): Demasiado caro. Casona simple.
- Johnny (10/5): Beautiful house overlooking the lake. - Very comfortable with superbe hospitality. Food was exceptional. Highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible accommodations and poorly located - This hotel is very poorly portrayed in Expedia. Essentially, it is someone's house, where a couple of rooms are rented out. There is no feeling of a hotel, no free access into the house - instead you must always ring the doorbell and hope someone is in the house. We paid for a junior suite and arrived at the house only to be put in the basement room, with a bathroom that was akin to camping. Noone else was staying at the house as guests at the time, so the other rooms were empty, so it is unclear why we were put in the basement room - with no view of the lake, dark since it was a basement, and a horrible bathroom/shower. We requested a better room the next day and were given our booked junior suite, which was much better. However, the room is very old, with creaky floors. Some people call that "quaint". The breakfast was very simple - cold cereal with some cut up fruit and croissants, coffee/tea. I read on the internet that the food was so great. We didn't experience that - it was very simple. Corn flakes, croissants, fruit.
Lastly, and also importantly, it is very inconveniently located as it is 20 km out of town. The restaurants and evening activities are far away and taxis are expensive, so the town bus is the only option.
Read between the lines when you read the other glowing reviews, and read with a more critical eye. We do not recommend this hotel at all.
