If you need the restraunt get confirmation it is open. - View of Bay Of Naples Breathtaking and signage from main road really helpful It was advertised with a Restraunt. We were told on arrival that it wasn't open (even though tables were set) This meant a journey back down the Mountain to find a restraunt to eat. This was not apprecaited after a long day in the car.

• Beat (8/5): Wunderschöne Lage, super Gastgeber! - Sehr freundlicher und um alles bemühter Gastgeber! Hatte uns extra noch einige Kleinigkeiten zu einer Flasche Wein zubereitet, damit wir nach unserer späten Anreise nich erwas essen konnten! Danke nochmal an dieser Stelle. Die Zufahrt ist etwas eng und steil, man wir aber mit einer umwerfenden Aussich von Neapel bis Capri belohnt. die Möbel km Zimmer waren etwas in die Jahre gekommen, war aber alles da, was man braucht.

• Jacco (9/5): Schitterende locatie - Prachtige accommodatie aan de voet van de Vesuvius. Aardige gastheer die ons verblijf goed verzorgde!
• UGO (9/5): sembra di stare in una cartolina - sulle pendici del Vesuvio, vista spettacolare sul golfo e posto tranquillissimo. Abbiamo dormito con la finestra aperta sul golfo: era un peccato chiudere le persiane. titolare gentilissimo il posto è isolato e la parte finale della strada per arrivarci ( 500 m) è un poco impegnativa perchè stretta ed in salita. Per fortuna c'è un semaforo per evitare che due macchine si possano incrociare a metà percorso.
• Valerie (10/5): Séjour inoubliable avec panorama époustouflant sur la baie de Naples - Nous avons passé quatre jours absolument merveilleux chez Salvatore à La TENUTA LE FORNACELLE ! 🌅 La vue sur la baie de Naples et les îles alentours est tout simplement époustouflante — un spectacle qui m’a profondément émue. Le cadre est magnifique, calme et reposant, parfait pour savourer chaque instant. Salvatore est un hôte exceptionnel : accueillant, chaleureux et très agréable. On se sent immédiatement bienvenus et pris en charge avec beaucoup de soin et de gentillesse. C’est un endroit que nous n’oublierons jamais, et nous y retournerons avec un immense plaisir. En plus, c’était le dernier gîte de notre séjour en Italie, et il a parfaitement clôturé les plus beaux souvenirs de notre voyage de cet été. Un grand merci à Salvatore pour ce moment inoubliable ! 🇮🇹💛 Ce qui pourrait être amélioré dans le gîte de Salvatore, c'est effectivement la décoration des chambres et également l'ensemble des photos de son gîte.

• luca (9/5): Paesaggio da Sogno - La tranquillità/serenità (staff)e il paesaggio rendono il viaggio unico e indimenticabile. Una struttura bella, e posto meraviglio per potersi rilassare, la jacuzzi “vista Capri” è stata la ciliegina sulla torta 💝 Un abbraccio grande a Rosa che c ha coccolato e assecondato come una mamma, donna di altri tempi e con uno spessore umano fuori dal comune 🙌🥰🙌 -La cena, qualità/prezzo non proprio soddisfacente -Il salato a colazione potrebbe essere aggiunto -Manutenzione -Strada per arrivare alla struttura

• Marie (9/5): Oase van rust met prachtig uitzicht en vriendelijke host - Het mooie uitzicht, de ruimte bij het gebouw en de super vriendelijke mensen. We hebben echt genoten van onze tijd hier. De kamer is zoals beschreven en het ontbijt met uitzicht is overheerlijk. Het was jammer dat onze douche niet volledig werkte en de matras van het bed was redelijk hard.

• Gonnie (8/5): Visit Vesuvius, Naples and Sorrento from here! - A great accommodation in a very quit area close to Vesuvius and Naples. Gaetano was a great host and made us feel very welcome! The little road driving up and down is very narrow. Once you do it 1-2 times, it's OK ;-)
• Ellie (10/5): Amazing place and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome - Beautiful location with amazing views. The staff were so kind and polite. Our flight was delayed meaning we didn't get to the hotel until very late, however we were still greeted with a smile and a wonderful 3 course meal! The grounds are beautifully kept and we enjoyed a morning walk before breakfast. We would definitely recommend a stay here and if we get the opportunity to stay again we certainly will!
• Katrin (10/5): Exceptional - It was a very interesting, calm and meditative place to stay. Driving up the Vesuvian narrow village road was a little bit challenging. One must be very careful and follow the allowing sign of the green traffic light to drive at the beginning of the road, because there is only room for one car to drive the way up or down. It will be good to let the host know the exact time of arriving, because of opening the entering gate. Private parking inside hotel area was spacious. Welcoming hosts with a friendly dog are serving you (even if you can´t speak italian). Charming nature and garden with breathtaking view on the sea and city from Vesuvian mountain. Typical fine italian breakfast. Very clean room with airconditioner, fridge, TV, bathroom with shower and a beautiful view on the sea. The location for visiting the Vesuvian Park was very good. Everything was just perfect.

• Cait (10/5): My new favourite haven in the world. - I absolutely loved everything. The service from all staff was above and beyond any service I have ever received in my life. There are no words for the care that I received whilst on my stay. The location while tucked away honestly the best part of a big touristy day was coming back to Tenuta Le Fornacelle knowing it was going to be a peaceful haven. Literally nothing to complain about or that I didn't love.

• Gail (5/5): Passable - Good location for Mount Vesuvius. Room was very clean. Views were amazing. Host heated up some food for us on the as the restaurant wasn't open. We stayed in February so off season. There was no hot water ... we had to boil kettle to fill the bath. The bath leaked water all over the floor when we switched on the jacuzzi. No staff around to inform It was freezing cold as the heating only came on for a couple of hours in the evening. Not sure if this was because we were the only guests there. Not worth the money.

• Keren (6/5): Good but spoiled by noisey clowns next door! - The views are pretty amazing and our room had a balcony that we enjoyed a wine watching the sunset and glad to be away from the town below. Air con worked well Whoohoo. We arrived at check in time but waited half an hour for the room to be ready but the guy made us a coffee which was ok. Booking.com says restaurant open but is only open for Weddings etc so we had to eat snacks we had. The room was not quite finished and had to ask for some cups and tea bags. Also the shower does not stay put and you have to hold it which seems to be a common thing during our trip. Little things that would take five minutes to fix do not get done and is starting to annoy us. Then the clowns in the room next door arrived at 12:15am talking loudly and dragging the chair across the floor WTF. Gave them a hint to shut up and it quietened down till 05:00 and banged on the wall to make them shut up. What is wrong with people. Not the B&B fault but getting sick go D/heads.

Wow! Early Sunday, water heater probably went off. Healthy cold shower with a view to Capri, though : )

• Andrew (10/5): Italy during the heat wave - Rosa made us feel just like family. Rosa made our stay so enjoyable. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. The AC was a welcome respite from the very hot days. This place met or exceeded all expectations. Nothing to say that we did not like.

It is however a little off so you will need a car to get around and get dinner etc. We thought they served dinner but they did not (at least not i May). There was a very nice lady there but she did not know english so communicating took time.

• Mayank (10/5): perfect place to stay with amazing islands and volcano mount view - First of the of all it has an amazing location , you can literally see the Sorrento, Capri and one more island from this property and also the mount Vesuvius volcano. it has a large garden including wine yard and orange trees. Morning view is really amazing. The owners and the staff at this property are really friendly and helpful people. A perfect place for weddings and parties and a lot of other good things about this place. I would highly recommend your stay here for at least a few days.
• Giuseppe (10/5): Exceptional - This is a catch. Salvatore is a wonderful host and always makes sure you enjoy your stay. At the end of the trip we felt totally restored and replenished, the view is amazing (as you can see the vesuvio, and the WHOLE NEAPOLITAN COAST), moreover the food is KM0 and locally sourced. Everything was made by his chef, and we had the chance to try local food, pastry etc while enjoying an amazing view. Will definetely come back with friends to enjoy more time at this wonderful place.

• Stanislav (10/5): Exceptional - Best view of Amalfi Coast with very nice restaurant and delicious food, good wine and romantic atmosphere. We liked so much we didn't want to leave. Perfect host and very relaxing place.
• Martin (8/5): An der Flanke des Vesuvs! - Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Hervorragende Antipasti; angemessener Preis dafür. In der Dämmerung massenhaft Moskitos (Anfang September). Da fallen fehlende Moskitogitter an Fenstern sehr ins Gewicht. Top Aussicht. Guter Ausganspunkt für Hercunaleum (besser als Pompeij). Insgesamt eine der Destinations, die uns in guter Erinnerung bleiben wird!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Anbefales! - Helt fantastisk koselig vingård. Vi ble tatt så godt i mot og fikk en omvisning. Rommet var helt ok, og vi var de eneste gjestene denne kvelden, men de skulle ha et stort selskap samme kveld. Vi ble tilbudt en meny og en flaske vin til en god pris, og det ble dekket opp til oss på terrassen. For en herlig kveld, vi kom i prat med eieren og kokken. Utrolig hyggelig vertskap. Middag var helt fantastisk. Deilig frokost!
• Pascale (10/5): Pascale - Etablissement situé en hauteur, avec une vue époustouflante sur le Golfe de Naples, face à Capri ; une grande propriété, jardin extraordinaire, très au calme car l'établissement se trouve au bout d'une ruelle de 500m environ. Le propriétaire, Emmanuel (ou Manuel) est très accueillant, aimable, souriant, sympathique ; tout est simple avec lui, vous demandez et vous êtes servi ; que ce soit sur l'horaire, sur le choix du menu, etc. La cuisine est excellente pour un coût plus que raisonnable. Le seul petit reproche c'est que nous, les français, ne sommes pas habitués à avoir autant de pâtisseries au petit-déjeuner, au détriment de pain.....un yaourt aussi, aurait été le bienvenu. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Posto incantevole con vista panoramica sul Golfo anche se la strada per arrivarci può far venire qualche dubbio, quindi piacevole sorpresa quando si arriva. Bel giardino posto tranquillo. Titolare e personale gentili e sempre disponibili. Ottima la colazione servita e ottima anche la cena in un atmosfera magica. Consigliatissimo!!!
• Francesco (2/5): Pessima comunicazione - Ieri ho ricevuto un messaggio che la prenotazione non era possibile farla perchè non avevano posti disponibili per il giorno seguente. Io ho ricevuto conferma della stanza da settimane… e solo il giorno proma del soggiorno, nel mezzo della mia vacanza, mi hanno lasciato a piedi fregandosene completamente. Gli ho scritto se potevano trovare una soluzione e non mi hanno nemmeno degnato di una risposta. Ho dormito una notte in macchina…..
• Stephanie (6/5): - Lovely views, towels weren’t clean, bath had small black hairs in it before our use and had holes and rips in them. No wifi like it said, no restaurant like it said. Renovations being done on the whole place. Beautiful dogs were on the property. The gates get locked at night so you can go and come as you like. Lovely owners, not much English speaking.

• Thomas (10/5): Kanonboende utanför Neapel! - Fantastiskt läge (även om den smala vägen upp till hotellet var lite väl spännande). Utsikten från balkongen var fantastisk. Trevlig personal och en god middag.

• Petra (6/5): Not great - The hotel was located very out of the way and didn't look like it did in the pictures. The lady Eliza seemed to be nice enough. Breakfast was quite dire and we had to negotiate getting past three large barking dogs most evenings with a child in tow. The area was not particularly safe either. There was a lot of noise in the evenings, sometimes parties going on and the bed was particularly uncomfortable.

• Del (10/5): Remote location but excellent food and service - We had an extremely enjoyable experience at Tenuta Le Fornacelle. Admittedly, we wondered whether the location's remoteness was going to be worth it....but it was. The desk staff and kitchen staff were both top notch. Loved the view.
• Ratbians (10/5): Fantastic value for money - We stayed over Easter and the hotel was extremely busy with local dinning customers which did make us feel a little forgotten at times. That aside the view, the rooms, the views and one or members of staff in particular made are stay very pleasant and memorable one. I would highly recommend staying here if you have your own transport and want to visit Pompeii and Herculanum, its a great base and looked much better than the other hotels closer to the tourist sites.
