Guest Reviews
- Apoorve (10/5): -
- Roy (6/5): - Easy access to rooms.
- Spencer (8/5): Finr - Nice clean & new remodel. Was quoted a price from booking but had to pay more at check out. I was told they don’t match booking prices
- Michael (7/5): - The room was spacious. The noise from the road and no breakfast was ready even though it was supposed to be by 6 am.
- xiaodongz530 (10/5): good location, clean room - The room is clean and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is more than enough for an adult. Internet speed is fast. The price is competitive.
- Sandra (9/5): It met all my needs for an over night stay! - Conveniently located! Nothing really!
- harrynG8613OO (10/5): Great Time - Great stay, expect for the homeless guy yelling and screaming all the time. I think he was saying his name Is Matthew or Matt, he had the scariest look on his face and half his teeth were missing…watch out for this guy.
- Stella (2/5): Very disappointing. - Sack breakfast had nice variety. The staff was very helpful. The property was nothing like picture on website. Noisy neighbors upstairs who went up and down until late starting car with loud pipes and revving up. Room was cold had to get assistance to turn on heat. The unit did not function properly it was either on high or turned off because too warm. Had off during night because too loud to sleep but then we were cold because bedding was sparse. The bathtub looked very dirty and the stopper was totally gone thankfully had flip flops! The floors were dirty could not have been mopped before our stay. Unfortunately, my slacks touched floor as I was dressing - what a mess - covered with dirt. The motels in town were booked up because of some event causing prices to soar!! Would have asked for refund and left if had that option.
- Barnett (5/5): It was ok. - Clean and safe Bath tub was terrible and needed work. The shower diverter only diverted half of the water. The tub was not flat on the bottom making it hard to keep one’s balance in. Big gap needed caulking between tub and shower.
- Mandi (1/5): Definitely won't ever stay here again - Price was decent The motel was right beside a road that sounded like it was used as a raceway. The neighbors were very loud and obnoxious. What they cosider breakfast is a joke. Gran and go...Muffins and coffee?
Heater was blowing right into the second bed so the rest of the room was freezing cold.
- Chelsea (8/5): -
- Monica (9/5): - Great bang for your buck beds are cleaned comfortable night staff is amazing. Still some hair in the shower looks like the housekeeper might have missed.
- Rebecca (9/5): - Location was perfect for what we needed Nothing
- Michelle (1/5): -
- Hector (1/5): -
- Sharon R (8/5): - The personal attention of management

- Joseph (1/5): Decent cheap hotel. Awful management. - Cheap and decent central location. General manager. Lady whose name I don’t have at this time. Extremely rude and disrespectful to guests. I’ve stayed all over Spokane and have never been met with such disrespect. Very unusual.
- Olson (7/5): -
- Thomas (9/5): -
- georgeu652 (2/5): Smell of a old room and a noisy heater - Noisy electric heater , smelly room , antique TV and a frozen breakfast.. that’s not what Howard Johnson would call a hotel , this is just a motel
- Blythe (1/5): - Went to check in and they said there was no deposit they lied and there was a deposit had put money on my credit card came back and then deposit was astronomical never stay there again
- Clark (1/5): Horrible! - The location was convenient and the room was decent. The staff was deplorable! The person behind the desk argued with me about trying to double charge my debit card for the deposit. I had my receipt showing I had already paid it yet he still tried running my card again. It was flagged as potentially fraudulent and my card was locked. I’m hours away from home, it’s after midnight and we need a room for a couple hours of sleep before a medical procedure and now no access to my money. I was upset and demanded a refund. I was going to sleep in my car at this point. He refused a refund and cancelled my room reservation. I demanded to speak with his supervisor. He walked out of the office on the phone. I assumed he was calling his boss but no, he called the police!! I am a 50 year woman, never have had cops called on me, EVER, and they claimed I was being irate and refusing to leave. I spoke to the cops, requested they watch the security footage which showed I never raised my voice and was not irate. We ended up staying a few hours then going to the medical appointment. We will NEVER stay there again. Which is sad. We’d stayed there several times in the past due to being a good location and the rooms were decent. I have never been more humiliated and upset in my life. And all because they tried to overcharge me.
- Anthony (1/5): - Nothing Extra payments
- Boddy (1/5): Misleading Amenities and Poor Maintenance - The front desk staff member I spoke with initially was polite and tried to help by moving us to another room. The location was also convenient for our plans in Spokane The first room had a rusted bathtub drain that couldn’t hold water, and the second had no plug at all. The staff admitted none of the tubs in the building work, even though the hotel advertises them as functional. With my disability, that made it unsafe for me to bathe. The manager’s voicemail afterward was dismissive instead of helpful.
- boddyp (2/5): Misleading Amenities and Accessibility Failure - I stayed at this property in October 2025 and was disappointed by the condition of the rooms and the lack of honesty from staff. The first room I was given had a rusted bathtub drain that couldn’t hold water, and the second room had no drain plug at all. When I asked about it, the front desk told me none of the tubs in the building hold water, even though they’re advertised as functional.
Because of my disability, I rely on a working bathtub for safe bathing. I was forced to purchase my own drain plug just to get clean. The manager later left a dismissive voicemail rather than addressing the issue properly.
This property badly needs maintenance and accessibility oversight. Until those issues are fixed, I would strongly caution travelers—especially those with accessibility needs—before booking here
- Trent (2/5): - It was one of the most painful check in's ever, I booked for my wife and daughter and they would not let them check in because they didn't have my credit card ... painful. And the staff member was terrible to my wife.
- Marilyn (8/5): - The parking lot was well lit. Their light breakfast was in a bag with 5 different items and juice. It was a nice variety. They had complimentary cookies on arrival with popcorn that night.
- Arthur (10/5): - Super surprised! Clean, new inside and out. Super friendly staff.
- Edwin (8/5): - Room is nice and clean. Staff is helpful to moved us from one room to another because the tv is not working.
- Paiaina (9/5): Clean, comfortable and quiet - It was well worth the price we paid
- De. (6/5): - Room was amazing.
- Shannon (8/5): - The staff were so helpful and polite Surrounding area could use a clean up
- ZACHARY (9/5): - Newly remodeled, clean. I didn't expect it to be as nice as it was when I pulled up, but the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Friendly staff.
- Watson (9/5): - Road side and everything is closed Didn’t experience any issues
- George (6/5): - It would have improved my stay if towels were changed more frequently.
- Janice (2/5): Not Family Friendly - We reserved online through Hotels.com
First off i have used Hotels.com for all of my reservations and have never had a problems until this time. I also have never experianced a hotel running my card to charge for a nights stay on the morning of my reservation. It was always done at checkin, when showing up to the location. Since check in is usually at 3pm however i believe theirs was 4pm. However, I received a charge whicb got declined due to card locked. I have my debit card locked for my own reasons. Still needing the room which was for my husband, father in law, my daughter and her friend and my self so a total of 5. I called the hotel to make sure still had my reservation and the man I spoke to stated they needed usually will do a hold on the amount and I could pay with another card. I let him know that I just needed to unlock my card and he said ok. I then asked if it would be a problem if we had another person with us since my original reservation stated only 4 and my daughters friend ended up going with us. He told me it was fine. He then charged for thir the pending amount. We got to the hotel got almost check ed and the guy at the cou ter ask how many i state 3 adults and 2 kids because I talked to the man prior. He ask how old i they are 13 yrs old. He then proceeds to tell me that since they are above the age of 2yrs old he could not allow more then 4 people in the room and he could get me another room......
- Stanley (10/5): - Enjoyed it.
- Carol (8/5): Room tiny but very nice overall. Outside areas need cleaning. NO BREAKFAST!! - Room small but quite beautiful just like the photo. It was quiet and upstairs as we requested. Beds were very comfortable. Room was nicely cleaned. Lighting was well done with a single lamp set up between the 2 Queen beds with separate plugs for internet phone recharging and separate light switches for each bed. Liked the woman on the front desk. Wed. 17th am. Outside was neglected. All walkways, sidewalk, stairs and railings were very dirty. Stair Carpets very worn. In the room the TV was set to wide screen and we were not able to change the ratio. Caused the TV screen to be blurry. TV remote fell apart and was taped together - then did not work at all. Desk phone was not working. Needed a small hook or something similar to hang up the towel at the sink.
INFO needs serious update at BOOKING.com: This property DOES NOT HAVE ANY "BREAKFAST" AT ALL nor could the provide that. Lobby is a small room with some nice coffee and tea and a few cookies. It would barely qualify for a CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST — no rolls or pastries UNLESS they all ran out before 8:00 am.
- Robert (2/5): - This was the most unfriendly and rudest hotel inhm I'll
- Steve (10/5): - ----
- William (6/5): Video kiosk checkin nightmare - The hotel overall is fine.
My issue was checkin.
I received an email with a link to do a pre-checkin. I completed all information and was informed my checkin was complete.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by a video kiosk and was expected to re-do the complete checkin process. Ok, no biggy, BUT I am hardbof hearing g with a service dog. Trying to hear the person on the other side of the video was difficult enough but made much, much worse by his thick Indian accent. I repeated told him I could not hear him well enough to understand so he got someone else - with a heavy Indian accent.
The process was embarrassing and uncomfortable and there should be a live person for backup.
- Kathy (8/5): - it was clean
- Lali (10/5): - Clean and remodeled. Friendly stuff
- Richard (6/5): - "down on it's heels".
- Terence (8/5): - It was exactly what I thought it would be the bed was pretty good.
- W1067NHsarahg (6/5): Not a 3-Star Hotel - If this were rated a 1 or 2 star hotel, I would give it a 5 star review. Since it’s rated a 3 star (like Quality Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, Comfort Inn & Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, etc.) , I feel 3 stars is generous. It’s clean and updated, but it’s a motel, not a hotel. The breakfast is a brown bag grab & go (though it does include a microwavable breakfast sandwich), the AC is loud and poorly placed, and the area is sketchy. It’s a decent budget motel. Just not what I thought I was booking.
- Dylhan (10/5): - Mice staff. Clean. Safe
- George (5/5): Very mixed bag; read my comments. Grade: C- - This was the best value I could find in North Spokane. The pool was clean, and well maintained. Getti, at the front desk was pleasant and professional. The room had all the appointments you would expect in a higher range hotel For the money, it was overpriced. The room itself had a stale odor. The walls were thin enough to easily hear neighboring rooms. You could also plainly hear the traffic out on Division. The carpet was dirty, including pubic hair that was not mine.
The television only pulled in 4 channels.
Overall the place seemed rundown.
- Pia (2/5): - Horrible did not stay here
Rooms smelled and look like a homeless person has been in there
- Note (8/5): -
- Sarah (6/5): Not a 3 Star Hotel; it’s a Motel - I should have done more research, but this was not what I expected. If this were categorized as a 1 or 2 star hotel, I would give it a 5 star review. I definitely would not call it a 3 star hotel.
Pros: the staff was friendly and efficient, everything was clean, the exterior is freshly painted, and the interior has been updated.
Cons: it’s a motel, not a hotel. I should have seen that by the photos, but I was in a hurry. It’s not in a great part of town and I didn’t feel great leaving my vehicle there overnight (definitely take EVERYTHING inside). Being a motel, the outside noise is louder than a hotel, since you have 2 exterior walls. The AC is about 8 inches from the bed and blows right on the person sleeping in that spot, which makes it tricky to make everyone in the room comfortable. It’s also very, very loud. Mixed opinions on mattress comfortability in my group, but you can’t please everyone anywhere, so I’d say that one is neutral.
Also, breakfast is brown bag grab-and-go, but does include a microwaveable breakfast sandwich and yogurt, which was better than I expected from a bag.
All in all, I did not have a bad experience for what this is: a low budget motel. It’s just not what I expected from a 3 star hotel.
- F8504VNanthonys (2/5): Dissappointed - Me and my wife were unhappy how manger couldn't and have to make us leave our room for cleaning . When we refuse service plus our stay was for 2 nights
- Robert (10/5): - Immediate help with handicap room
- Ghery (6/5): - It was a place to sleep.
- Roy (9/5): -
- Laura (10/5): - Excellent customer servicr
- Melissa (8/5): -
- Morgan (10/5): - The hotel was easy to find. The staff at check in and check out where very kind. Clean room and felt like it had recently been updated.
- Nancy (2/5): - The hotel would not allow a family member to visit onsite. Management was very rude and lied to get out of providing a refund when we left early.
- Nikita (4/5): Unfortunate - The bed was comfortable. We paid for early check in but the room they sent us too was not ready yet. Upon arriving to our assigned room the maid was sitting on the bed on her phone, she was snappy and not friendly at all. She went to the office then came back up and told us to go back to the office for a new room. Her customer service was not friendly at all. Then our room had a funny musty smell to it. Our shower was also not clean. There was feces stains on the side of the shower. The water presser wasn't all that good either.
- Beck (10/5): - It was good. The staff was friendly and lively
- Stewart (6/5): - Front desk not very communicative.
Supposed to be a pool?
Room phones not working, not told until mentioned at checkout.
- John (2/5): - Dirty floors and smell
- Kirk (5/5): OK motel but location is next to a major straight (Division) and it is Noisy! - N/A
- Jane (6/5): Not recommended - Lots of noise coming from the street. Pool is very small. They overcharged us and then said that the manager would have to help us on Monday; we left on Sunday. There was also another guest complaining about being overcharged. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but we did have to air the room out when we first got there. I would not stay here again.
- gary (7/5): Ok for a one night layover - Bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. Good WiFi and location close to restaurants. Breakfast is poor.
- Brandon (8/5): - Bed
- Prem (8/5): - N/A
- Conner (2/5): - Needs a remodel for upstairs decking for 2nd floor. Gave me the wrong room
- Bernd (7/5): -
- Julie (4/5): It was ok - The staff was great The sheets where stained and so where the bed topper’s. The bathroom was not clean and had dirt and spiderwebs in the bathroom. It was a non-smoke room, but as soon as we walked in, we got a full smell of cigarette smoke.
- Lisa (2/5): - I didn't get a room after paying online because I wasn't aware I needed a deposit so they refused to give me a room. The area surrounding the property was run down
- Arnie (6/5): Okay place to crash for a night - It is basically a budget hotel. So you basically get what you pay for, no frills, but decent for cleanliness and room size. If you just need a place to crash, it is fairly comfortable and even though it is near division Street it isn’t too noisy. I have stayed there twice and I have been comfortable both times I was there.
- Enric (2/5): - All around poor quality
- Barbara (10/5): - This hotel was very reasonably priced. It was clean and comfortable and included everything we wanted/needed, including breakfast. The pool was great for the kids, but would have been nicer if it was heated. All and all it was a great value.
- Joshua (10/5): - Next to restaurant and they have grab breakfast
- Gail (6/5): - Ha
- Brooklyn (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE. Quite literally I have never wrote a negative review. This place hands down takes the cake for horrible. Unclean hard to deal with just no care.
- Warren (2/5): - Clerk at check in was rude, it’s in a bad neighborhood, never felt secure. Loud road traffic all night. Breakfast was a sack breakfast that they really didn’t want to give you. Door looked like it had been kicked in. Gasp all around the door so flies came in room. Do not waste your money
- Olivia (2/5): - There was only 1 towel in the room for 3 people. In the morning asked for 2 more towels, the receptionist gave 2 towels and by the time we walked from his office to our room all water was shut down, so no shower available, nothing. Even though I just took shower (and used that one dear towel) right before walking to ask him for more towels. We had to leave promptly in the morning to continue our travels but kids had no even shower that day. Also, forget the breakfast- this place is a joke.
- Andres (10/5): - Excellent
- Christine (8/5): - Clean
- Ricardo (5/5): Passable - Comfy bed and pillows The room we got smelled like old cigarettes or some old odor
- Mattson (1/5): Bad - Location NO PARKING.
Awful decrepit staircase. VERY hazardous.
No damn Toilet paper 🧻. Seriously 😑
Bathroom was dirty.
Toilet especially was not clean. Shit up the back.
P-- Hair in the bathtub.
Fan in the bathroom is covered in caked on dust/dirt.
Lamp on nightstand doesn't work.
Drawers on dresser won't stay closed. Keep opening on their own.
For how much this room cost you could've done way better!
- Alannah (10/5): - very clean.
- Robyn (4/5): - Terrible people
- Emily (6/5): - Your typical 3 star hotel. Didn’t really have a breakfast section at all.
- Scott (6/5): Clean Towels Available at the Front Desk - I don't need to have my room cleaned every single day, but I would like to be informed that it would never been cleaned over a three night stay.
- musicbrokers1966 (10/5): Clean and comfortable budget room with good quality grab and go breakfast bags - Clean and comfortable budget room with good quality grab and go breakfast bags. No complaints. You get what you pay for.
- Robert (4/5): Old and dated. - I would not stay at this facility again. The linens had stains on them. The odor of the room was terrible, it smelled like an old smoking room. The paint had marks everywhere, torn window screens. Needed some type of privacy from the wash room to the sleeping area to at least change your clothes in some type of privacy.
- Sabrina (3/5): Poor - The room was clean The ppl next to us all night with the tv
- karenkJ860EY (8/5): Adequate Accommodation - Adequate and clean, but uncomfortable pillows and no hand towels. Did not find info about breakfast or pool or tv in the rooms. Had no housekeeping during 2-day stay. Open WiFi required no password
- Karen (8/5): - Friendly check in, area outside property was sketchy, the door to the room had large gap at bottom and lock had obviously been broken with unsecured repair. No washcloths or hand towels offered, lumpy pillows, no housekeeping during 2 nights stay. Big tv but not smart tv so no smart features on tv and it only used hdmi connection, no cat5, just unsecured WiFi. Price was affordable and place was quiet. Did not use the pool but couldn’t find access.
- Thomas (8/5): - The front desk was always available and ready to help.
- Jean (10/5): - Great service
- Nicole (2/5): - Felt very unsafe. Several people standing around in the parking lot. Ended up not staying there.
- kellie (10/5): - Expect $50 deposit at check in
