• Dieter (9/5): - Die Gastgeber sind zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Sehr angenehme ruhige Lage, die feudale Zufahrt zum Haus wirkt wie bei einem Herrenhaus :-) tolle Weine !

• Carmen (9/5): Vorweihnachtliche Auszeit in Illmitz - Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, es war alles da, was das Herz begehrt. Die Lage der Pension ist etwas außerhalb des Ortszentrums, das heißt, ca 10 - 15 Minuten zu Fuß, Das war für uns kein Problem, da wir Ruhe suchten (und gefunden haben). Für Gäste, die mit dem Auto anreisen oder Fahrradtouristen ist das sowieso kein Thema. Die Stufen zur Eingangstür waren für mich ein wenig schwierig, da es bei einer der 2 Stufenaufgänge kaum Gelegenheit zum anhalten gibt. Das ist aber eine sehr persönliche Meinung, da ich sehbehindert bin. Für gesunde Menschen ist es wahrscheinlich kein Problem.

• Gabriele (10/5): - Die ganze Familie sorgt sehr liebevoll für die Gäste,das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und die Eierspeise mit Trüffelöl hervorragend,weil frisch persönlich von der Chefin zubereitet und mit einem Lächeln direkt am Tisch serviert.Die Weinverkostung war Chefsache und brachte neben einer kleinen Wissenserweiterung in Sachen Wein sehr besondere Weine an die Gaumen.... Insgesamt ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt!!!
• Birgit (10/5): - Das Personal, fast alles in der Hand verschiedener Familienmitglieder, hat uns gleich ganz freundlich aufgenommen und kompetente Auskunft zu allen Fragen gegeben. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Außerdem gab es als Highlight das Angebot eines exklusiven Dinners mit Wein 🍷 zu jedem Gang. Herr Opitz, Besitzer des zur Pension gehörenden Weingutes, gab fachmännisch Auskunft über seine Weine. Er präsentierte alles in seiner unnachahmlichen Art und Weise, sehr unterhaltsam! Eigentlich war alles sehr gut.

Nothing except was a little hard to get our car into the car park, as it was full when we arrived and the cars had not parked thoughtfully. 🤣

• Ed (10/5): Life changing wine and food tasting in a warm, generous, family-run home. - The Opitz family made our stay with them an amazing experience I will never forget. Angela and her mother took care of all the hotel and breakfast issues with super professionalism and a generosity that always went above and beyond what I expected. Angela also had great recommendations for what to do around the area. The wine tasting we asked for with Willie was something unbelievable, though. He's an incredible figure in Austria's wine industry and he spent 4 hours with my wife and I showing us all of his wine production facilities and leading us through an extensive wine tasting with some food pairings thrown in for good measure. (Those came from Angela's catering business that she runs with her husband Ian. They offer full dinner experiences which I will definitely book some time in the future.) My wife and I have tasted wine all over the world and Willie's stands up to or exceeds therm all. You must try this if you have the chance. Wow!

Breakfast was excellent and now we're looking forward to tasting their wine which is fit for a king!!! We will definitely go back!

The rooms are well equipped and clean, the breakfast is perfect, but most of all we enjoyed the carrying attitude of Angela, Maria, Willi and Ian. We made the wine testing of the house and it was really super well prepared and served. This is place where we want to go again and again! Nothing, everything was perfect!

• Stefanie (10/5): A hidden gem - Willi Opitz and his wife are lovely! We had a spontaneous wine tasting that really made out trip. Willi has so much humor and knowledge. We would love to come back again and again. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious, the whole staff was just so lovely and helpful and the garden and rooms are very nice. It’s also very convenient to park and enjoy the area by car. We were just looking for a nice place to spend the night while attending a show nearby and ended up finding a gem. A true diamond in the rough.

• Caroline (10/5): Ankommen und sich zu Hause fühlen! - Wie der Titel schon verrät, wir haben uns gelich zu Hause gefühlt. Wir wurden herzlich mit einem kühlen Getränk empfangen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckdienlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist wunderbar und lässt kaum einen Wunsch offen. Das "Private Dining", das wir geniessen durften, ist weltklasse! Wir kommen wieder, keine Farge!
• Verified traveler (8/5): Schönes, ruhiges Hotel mit familiärer Atmosphäre - Als Ausgangspunkt zu einem Abstecher nach Budapest genutzt, dabei gleichzeitig in der Nähe (50km) zum Flughafen. Sehr entspannender Aufenthalt und ein tolle Betreeung.
