- jlgreyeyes (2/5): General Manager is a smarmy, rude, woman. - I have stayed at other hotels that will allow for a credit card pre-authorization if the person staying at the hotel does not have a credit card, including other IHG hotels. I called two days before my stay to arrange this and the Manager, Cherry, refused to work with me or to try and help in anyway. She had an attitude and her tone of voice noticeably shifted when I asked her how I could get my money back. She told me to call Expedia (who I booked through), I did and they told me to call the hotel. I spent two hours of my day trying to sort this out with ZERO resolution. As it stands right now I won't be allowed to check in over a $50 deposit that needs to be paid via credit card. That's $550 they took from me for no reason other than to be petty, classist and exclusionary. Good job Cherry, you successfully humiliated a mom just trying to help her daughter move out of University dorms at the end of the term.

- Sarah (7/5): Lovely, but lively. - Breakfast was great, underground parking was a must. The bed was very comfy and the tub was fantastic. On our last day there, Sunday, at 3 am we were awoken by a very loud group of people who kept shouting, yelling, talking extremely loudly, the TV was blaring. It was god awful to the point where other guests in the 6th floor actually went and banged on their door for them to be quiet. It didnt work and so I had called down to the front desk with a noise complaint. I believe on the second time front desk came up, which was now closer to 4am than it was to 330am (as it was apparent that the group of individuals didn't care to be quiet) something finally happened and it was a bit quieter. I was still up until 430am because I couldn't get back to sleep and other guests were still watching the TV a bit loudly but not nearly as bad as the whole group. I want to commend the staff member who took my call and had to deal with all of whatever was going on during the hour and a half it took for the floor to finally become quiet again.

Didn't like how the staff in charge of breakfast was stirring at me and my spouse each day we came to get breakfast...I perceive she was stirring at us as if we were taking more than we needed..Meanwhile, our kids were still sleeping, so we came down and made sure we got for them. That was all we noticed each day we came. Pass the message to her. This is not a good sign.

We Generous check in and check out times made it a more relaxed stay too. It can be a little dicey getting there, especially during high traffic times of day. I did find the final bill for the stay came to more than I expected from what I had seen onthe booking.com listing. It wasn't crazy, but it was enough to throw my trip budget off a bit.
