The real cream in the fridge for my morning coffee was an exceptional treat! We were on the second floor and the walkway decking is aged and squeaky when somebody walked by, but really, it was a quiet place and I had to really think to come up with something to improve on.

• lovethebeachsand (10/5): A Rare Find - A very simple hotel with absolute charm. We loved it because it was right in town, our room was renovated and cozy/cute, had a balcony overlooking the harbour with a beautiful view, and very reasonable during the off season. The office staff were friendly!

• Darren (8/5): If you pay more, you expect more. - Beautiful harbour view from room 101, 2 different kinds of good tea. Cable & smart TV (but no streaming services). Nice looking room. Good heating. Nice balcony. No wardrobe or coat hangers to hang clothes on, just 4 hooks, supplied 2 bowls, but only 1 spoon, no plates or other kinds of cutlery, no toaster, upstairs neighbours are noisy just walking around & you hear their toilet flush, very expensive, small & thin towels, Old building.
• TJ (10/5): Visit Tofino in the off season for killer deals - Visiting Tofino in early January is maybe the best idea I've ever had. This room will sell for several times more than I paid in the summer. Given that, the value for money here was exceptional. I wouldn't want to pay the summer rate here, but I don't think I'd want to pay Tofino summer rates anywhere in Tofino. Everything was just fine. There's nothing about it that I could say that I didn't like.

• Steven (9/5): Comfortable, well appointed Motel in the heart of Tofino. - Comfortably sized Motel. Excellent standard of room with a great balcony and a great view over the harbour. Very friendly and helpful staff with great local knowledge. Lovely town with some great eateries and The Schooner thoroughly recommended. We took advice to go to a local Hotel for breakfast but despite the wonderful location overlooking the beach the food was cold and the staff seemed robotic. When stating that the food was cold the server replied "oh awesome" (??) however this must not detract from The Motel Harbourview itself which was faultless.
• Rosemary (8/5): You can’t go wrong, would stay again. - Spacious, Waterview, close to town:restaurants; Had more than one luggage rack; bed comfortable. Good parking. We paid extra for the larger suite but it was right next to the road, so we had road noise. Would have had less noise and a better water view with one of the other rooms.

I stayed in 4 & 5 stars hotels that didn't have the same service or cleanliness as here and of course the view is something else! Free Parking, Nice guy at the lobby, Free coffee! Would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet stay, kid friendly too! Nothing except I wish they could cut the palm tree that's in the middle ruining the view! :)
