- Weifeng (2/5): - I booked a room with in-room safe. After I checked in I found out there is no safe in the room. I came to the front desk and the receptionist told me that the room type that I booked doesn't come with safe. Then I showed the detail of my booking that clearly shows in-room safe. Then they changed the story blaming Expedia giving wrong information. When I asked to switch a room with safe, the one looks like on-duty manager told me they are fully booked. It does not look true to me from my observation. I also tried to book the same hotel and it showed rooms available. There was one drunken guy next door making noise even pass 2 am. The wall is not sound proof.and there was nothing been done about this guy although the staffs are aware. I have been staying in different hotels the same area several times and this time B7 gave me the worst experience. .

Pillow cases and bed sheet were not replaced thru out the five days stay. Staff replied not able to refund for the remaining two days that I did not stay as I switched hotel to the Grand Hilai Hotel

But other than that it was a excellent hotel with kind staff!! Set up our ride to the airport for us as we requested and always helped as needed. Cleaned the room when indicated by the door sign.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean and Comfortable - The location is so convenient. It is located in between two MRT interchange lines - Ximending and Tamsui, that made our travel so smooth. It is located near to a nice garden. We love it as it is not so far to noisy Ximending, this meant we love the quiet night. The hotel service was good as we requested 2 more pillows. It came to our room almost immediate! Housekeeping auntie was friendly too.

- John (10/5): Amazing Pleasant Stay here - Pleasant stay here. It is very close to Taipei Main station about 7-10 minute walk. There is so many eateries around the area. The staff went above and beyond when i was asking where i can buy a specific ingredient. The Staff speaks good english. The Breakfast was very delicious! The rooms are a small but compact and nice. The rainfall shower was amazing. Good water pressure and good amount of hot and cold water. The cleaning staff ladies were so friendly. I enjoyed my stay here coming back for sure !
- Raelene (4/5): Very poor breakfast. - We had a family room and it was very small. It contained two double beds and we had very little room around the beds. Our main complaint was the breakfast offered. Our breakfast was included in our booking, we had to cross the road to their other hotel, no problem because that was mentioned in the booking. We were offered a choice of four things for breakfast as well as tea or coffee. We choose waffles. I asked for black tea and no they didn’t have any. Then we asked for juice or hot chocolate for the two children with us. One child eleven the other fourteen years and neither one drinks tea or coffee. We were told no, only tea or coffee. We did end up getting them hot milk after arguing our case. Because we complained the staff made sure we were the last in the room to be served our breakfast even though people who came in after us had eaten their breakfast we were told ours would still be another ten minutes. We complained to management who listened and took note of our complaint. She apologised and was very nice.After that experience I don’t think I would ever stay there again.

We can pretty much hear everything next door neighbor was saying as if we were in the same room, we couldn't sleep for most of the night and had to request to change across the street in the middle of the night . The rooms are tiny as well. Staff tried to be helpful., But there was nothing much they can do.

- Peiying (2/5): Horrible experience - I will not book this hotel again. I booked four nights for my mom and my aunt, paid in full. During the third day, they took a nap in the afternoon, a tall and big man with a key try to open the door, after they talked he told them they need to move out, it is his room. My mom and my aunt refused to move out, he kept knocking the door. My aunt called the front desk, finally get him out of the area. Apparently front desk girl assigned wrong room. It is a horrible experience for two 80years + old lady have to deal with this kind of scare. Location is good, but room is very small, no chair, no table, not much room for luggage.

The cleanliness is good it just right but the internet wifi is a problem cause it wasn’t work at all I couldn’t use it for 3 days that I have been staying there. Also, I called staff for help but all staff had no clue so it was ending up with no wifi internet for a whole trip.

- Hui Fern (6/5): Few days in Taiwan - The location is excellent, within walking distance to the mrt and the forever young ximending. The check-in and check-out service was fast and the staff were friendly. The single room was clean. But, it is too small, crampy in fact. There was no walking space at all.

- Sarah (8/5): - Overall experience with this hotel is good. Hotel room seem to be newly renovated with updated shower, toilet and sink. It has sufficient toiletries with daily housekeeping. The only complaint would be the poor insulation; we heard loud noises from the street and construction in the early morning hours. Hallway carpet is really old and dirty which should be replaced to match up with the hotel rooms. Breakfast is acceptable with 2 options to choose from and different food being served everyday. Location of this hotel is within 5 minutes walk from the nearest MRT station; lots of shops and restaurants are near by; employees are polite and trained well to do their job.
- Verified traveler (10/5): We enjoyed the stay! - I feel this hotel is underrated. We stayed in Grand double room for 5 nights and didn't have any problem at this lovely hotel. Very good location, 5-10 min walk to Ximen station, shops and eataries around the area, staff are welcoming, friendly, attentive, the common area is very clean, rooms are spotless clean, good amenities, comfy bed, and the building is modern and compact design. The only a little downfall is the breakfast was very limited to choose. They offered Set A or Set B - which can be dim sum or sandwich or chicken wrap that comes with salad/fruit, coffee/tea. However, as most of the hotels in Taiwan do not provide breakfast, this is a good option for those who do not want to struggle to find a shop for breakfast. It was served at the opposite of the road, same hotel chain called Beauty Hotel B7 Journey and the atmosphere of the dining room is really good. Will come back again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): The best place in Taiwan to stay. - The location is excellent. Near to the market to buy fruits. Near to the pasalubong shops. Accessible to the train station. All we need is just around the area. The services is excellent. We have the conference area with overflowing coffee, tea and snacks. Drinking water is well provided. All personnel are very hospitable. No hidden charges, we paid only through online, no extra charges upon check-out.

Everything was decent, but I feel like the room was way too small. Despite that, the hotel is nice and is at a convenient location. Ximending is pretty close and easy to go to. The hotel is several blocks from Taipei Main Station.

However, our room looks different from the picture we saw on hotels.com & consulted the staff. They pushed all responsibility to the website and mentioned there's nothing they can do for us. We stayed in the quad room. There wasn't even a proper space for our luggage. Very difficult for us to walk around the room.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Close proximity to transportation and attractions - Outstanding location with less than 10 mins walk to MRT, XiMenDing, Presidential Palace, Taipei Main Station, etc. Room for 4 is very small but managed to fit 2 full size beds. Very friendly staff. Breakfast portion is perfect for people with smaller appetite, so it could be a bit disappointing if you like hearty breakfast. Room service did not wash the tea cups I used, so it could be reassuring for those who have doubts how cups are washed.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Staff - I got in pretty late because my flight was delayed. To make it easier for me to communicate with the taxi driver, I had requested that they send me the address in the local language. I showed the email to my driver, and he got me there without getting lost. The staff had my room ready and waiting for me.
- FLORENCE (6/5): Unfriendly environment - Booked 2 rooms (2 double beds) for 7 pax for 3 nights. We were allocated 2 different types of room, 1 is as featured in the website and the other room was very small without table (same rate for both rooms). The room was too small for 3 adults and there was no place to put the 3 luggage. Shower area was tiny, keep on banging on the shower screen while bathing. Room service was poor, didnt wash the used cups that were placed on the bedside tables and didnt replenish drinking water bottles. Breakfast is not buffet type. Only 2 choices of menu. The woman in charged is very inflexible and strict. The 1st day I was being told off to go back to my seat and wait for my food coz I went near to the food, thinking it was a buffet style breakfast. When asked for 2nd cup of coffee, the woman scrutinised my table and ensure that we did not ask for more than what we are entitled. My hubby doesnt drink coffee and tea and I ordered his share for my 2nd serving. The woman is just like a school canteen supervisor who observed every pupils just get their deserving share of breakfast and nothing more. Breakfast is from 7.30am - 10.30am. A man came in at 10.35am and the woman told him sorry, breakfast no more. There were still plenty of food left on the serving counter! Will never ever stay in this hotel.

- Robert (8/5): Small Room, but Good Location! - OK, even though we KNEW it was small, it still surprised us upon opening the door. At most there was a 1 meter space around the bed. However, for the price we paid, and the location of the hotel (5min to NTU MRT, 10 to Ximen MRT), and the fact that you dont book a room here to stay inside all day, it worked. Staff was friendly, Breakfast was mostly Eastern with a mostly Western 1950-1970 soundtrack.

- Chin Hao Sebastian (6/5): Recommended for consideration - Overall it was a pleasant stay for my gf and I. She loved the buffet breakfast provided by them. The room though was small and not spacious at all. If it is just purely to rest only this hotel can do it. There was another point where the hotel had another board placed outside at their door saying that they can provide room at NT$500/night. So I felt a little scammed when I saw that board.
- Kate (6/5): Clean, modern hotel in a great location - This hotel is new and clean. There are many positives with only a few negatives. First, the hotel is in a great location. It's near the train station and 228 Peace Park, with lots of food and shopping nearby. It's across the street from a local market where you can buy cheap souvenirs. It is close to the MRT, and the park is beautiful. The hotel staff are friendly and speak enough English. The buffet breakfast is mostly Eastern, and I loved it. However, the rooms were extremely loud for me. There seemed to be no insulation, and I could hear everyone else like they were in my room. My first room was behind the kitchen and was very noisy all night long. It also had no window. I finally asked to be moved, which they did quickly and politely. However, the next room was still noisy and the entire week I was there, I barely slept. That being said, I am a light sleeper. If you're not, and you are ok with small rooms, then this is an excellent place! Overall it's a great hotel. If you are a sound sleeper and like being in a very local area, this is the place for you.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Cosy and affordable! - We reached hotel early in the morning but couldn't get an early check in with a top up as there were no room available. Nonetheless, we places our luggages and went shopping till evening. Room was clean and new! However, it's pretty small. 1 big luggage will result in minimal space to walk. Hotel breakfast was pretty good too! Room walls are thin so you might hear people talking from your room. Overall it was a cosy room to stay in! Hotel is conveniently situated near mrt stations and walkable to ximending.

- Sai Kwang (8/5): I recommend this hotel - The hotel is clean and relatively new. Although the double room is not spacious, typical of hotel rooms in Taiwan and Hong Kong, it acceptable for couples. Toilet size is generous and comfortable, considering the room size. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread is good, with a mix of both eastern and western style. I would come back to this hotel for my next visit to Taipei
- Winston (8/5): Nice Family Hotel Stay - The rooms are nice and clean and the toilet even have a warmer so that you do not get too cold after a shower. I also like that they provide free use of bar and even free VOD movies. My kids enjoyed it. However, the room for a family of 4 is rather small and the breakfast area is too small to cater to the crowd. You usually end up having to wait for seats before yoou can eat
- Acel (8/5): Second stay here, and would stay again. - My second stay at the Beauty Hotel, so that say's something. Overall a good place to stay if you do not plan to spend much time in the room. Very close to the subway system, which means it is easy to get around Taipei. The front desk is very helpful. The best thing is the FREE on demand movies. They have a lot of good titles and the 55" flat screen makes watching and passing the evening great. I wish all the places I stayed have this.

- Wai Hong (8/5): Vacation Stay - Hotel location very good. Within walking distance to 3 MRT stations and Ximending. However room a bit small to fit 3 persons even though its for a 4pax room. If you have >3 big luggages then you have to practically jump over the luggage to move from point to point.

- Jacky (6/5): There are better hotels in better locations - Very basic hotel with lobby, reception, time with attached toilet. But it's not prominently visible, obscured by so many other big bold signages around. Took me half an hour to locate, not helped by Google maps giving the wrong location. Breakfast is in Mos Burger nearby. It's located on a street with mostly local shops selling stationeries, food, groceries sundries. Shopping district is about 15 minutes away on foot.
- Kuroobi (8/5): Good location but very small room - My double room was small, for two people it would have been crowded, no chair to set on so you could only set on the bed. No table to work on. The internet was very good. Proximity to the subway was excellent. Breakfast was provided my Mos Burger just down the street. There was 3 set menus you can choose from with NO deviations. So if you want an orange juice you have to but that separately. I was just wanting a place to stay so this was fine. I likely will return if I go back to Taipei since I am not spending time in the room much anyway. There is a TGI Fridays across the street.

- J (8/5): Good location, Clean, Comfy Bed - Overall a good stay. Was a bit hard to find at first, as the website didn't really provide very good directions. Get off at Main Taipei Station, and walk towards the Z zone, and take exit Z10. Turn right as you leave the exit and walk about 10-15 minutes. Staff were polite, didn't really interact with them much. Good food nearby. Must try the black pepper bun. The hotel website states that they provide international buffet breakfast - which is not true. You get breakfast vouchers for a cafe next door. You are quite limited in choice by what you can choose… but its breakfast so I guess its okay. All in all, great stay.
- Terry (10/5): Great hotel, very accommodating - The hotel was near the MRT station in a bustling section of Taipei. We had never been to Taiwan, and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There were many restaurants in the area within walking distance and Peace Park was about a block or two away.

- Wizard (8/5): Nice hotel with good location - Will stay here again, the location is pretty good, room was clean and when I look at a hote, the toilet matters to me most and dare I say, it passed with flying colours! There was even a heater in the toilet so I don't come out of the shower freezing my *** off. Awesome experience. But be prepared to be cramped in a relatively tiny room. Didn't quite matter to me though, since I use the room only to sleep and nothing else. Oh, did I mention the 2 cute hotel reception girls?

- Verified traveler (6/5): An OK budget hotel - Hotel B7 is located around 5min walk from NTU Hospital MRT with a shortcut through 2/28 Peace Park. It is also within walking distance to Xinmending area. We booked a triple bed room and the room is very tiny perhaps too tiny for 3 people. The wall was pretty thin too we can hear the noise from adjacent rooms. It is very clean though, and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is clean and new. The only downside is the fact that there was no window in the room. If I am not mistaken, there are only a few rooms that have windows as the hotel is smacked in between buildings. Breakfast was from the bakery next door (HDX cafe) which had yummy bread. The staff was nice and very helpful in giving direction. Late check out is charged at NTD 300/ hour.

Not yours." but 5 min walk xieman, 3min walk NTU station, 7min walk taipei main station is very nice location.
