• Nele (8/5): Goed hotel - Goed hotel en ideaal om van daaruit de Bromo tour te doen. Nette en ruime kamer. Het zwembad is in onderhoud en dat werd ons niet op voorhand gemeld. Dat vonden de kinderen wel jammer. Door een gecancelde vlucht naar Java, kwamen we pas een dag later aan. De geboekte eerste nacht moesten we gewoon betalen.
• Eline (6/5): Prima - Fijne hotelkamer op een goede locatie. Op moment van aankomst kregen we te horen dat het zwembad en de gym niet beschikbaar was vanwege renovatie. Teleurgesteld omdat we juist deze accommodatie hadden gekozen voor het zwembad en dit vooraf dus niet helder gecommuniceerd is.

• Regina (9/5): Bequemer Aufenthalt, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal - Ehrlich gesagt können wir die teilweise schlechten Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Wir haben uns im Hotel wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett bequem. Das Frühstück bestand aus einem riesigen Buffet mit verschiedenen Stationen und war sehr lecker. Ja, viel davon ist auf asiatische Gäste ausgerichtet, aber man befindet sich ja auch in einem asiatischen Land. Es war kein Problem Eierspeisen, Cappuccino, etc. beim Tischkellner zu bestellen. Das Personal war wirklich ausnahmslos freundlich und aufmerksam. Mit einem Grab-Taxi ist man schnell im Zentrum. Kleine Supermärkte sind um die Ecke. Wir würden wieder buchen! Nichts.

• Inas Raras (8/5): Good budget hotel in Malang - Kamar cukup nyaman, lantai berkarpet, kasurnya empuk. Meja kerja ukurannya sangat proper. Kamar mandi juga ukurannya pas. Overall kami puas dengan pengalaman menginapnya. Kualitas & kerapihan di area makan bisa ditingkatkan. Sofa di lobby juga bisa diperbaiki bagian-bagian bernodanya. Staff juga ditrain supaya lebih ramah terutama di resepsionis, dan staff harus peka terhadap kenyamanan tamu, tidak menelfon terus menerus hanya untuk menagih pembayaran makanan dari resto.

Nevíme jestli to bylo kvůli centrální klimatizaci ale bez špuntů do uší se bohužel nedalo spát.

• Quest50942162797 (10/5): worth it - Stayed here for a few nights! The location is spot-on, easy to reach everything. Room was clean, comfy, and the AC worked. Staff were super friendly. A bit noisy outside sometimes, but that’s city life! Totally worth it.

We stayed on the 10th floor with a stunning mountain view. Definitely value for money! The fridge/cooler in the room is not cool at all. You must obtain drinking water from the water station located in each hallway (no free water bottles are provided in the room).

Früher check- in und später Check - out möglich(teilweise gegen Aufpreis). Zimmer war etwas klein & Ausstattung schon etwas abgenutzt. Fliegen im Abfluss, sehr laute Klimaanlage / Lüftung in Zimmer im 11 Stock. Aufpreis für frühen Check in.

I ordered a family room with “two double beds” according to the room description but ended up with just one double bed and a bunk bed! Wheras it does give 2 x 2 pax, the level of comfort is not as expected! Told the receptionist at checkin but got no solution offered. The View from 9th floor was nice and breakfast buffet satisfactory.

• dam123 (6/5): Not impressed but helpful staff - It seems that little maintenance was made here since the place opened. There were stains on pretty much everything from linen to chairs all the way to the carpet and the towels smelled a bit moldy too. This hotel mostly caters at Indonesian tourists, which becomes clear at breakfast with little to no western choices. The staff was quite nice though, really trying their best to please us (offering donuts, cheese and sausages). Luckily, we don’t mind soto ayam for breakfast:) The pool is a nice addition for the kids too.

• Wojciech (9/5): Superb - A solid and reliable stay - the room was clean and comfortable. What stood out most was the breakfast and the food at the restaurant overall, which were surprisingly good!

When you decrease the amount of amenities and I even had to ask for tooth brush and toothpaste from the room service in the name of protecting the earth etc, that really lowers your value and makes me reconsider staying there again. And you could at least provide drinking water in reusable glass bottles, instead to have taking it self from a water dispenser in the hallway.

The towels provided we very old (threadbare), the soap dispenser in the shower had some rusted parts which implied some rust pieces were released with the soap at each release and the shower had some molded sealings. The pillow sheets also didn't smell good, as if they had been kept in a dusty place or just not properly cleaned.

Staff was very friendly too and even though they had quite a few trainees on the roster when I stayed, they tried their best and always had a smile on their face, even though they were still learning and occasionally had to clarify a number of things with the senior staff. I had to set off very early in the morning but they were kind enough to prepare a packed breakfast (with delicious nasi goreng) for me.

• traceyredgwell (10/5): Awesome Hotel. Fantastic, friendly staff - What a wonderful stay from the moment we arrived. Ayin and the team really made us feel welcomed. The family room was very clean and spacious with a queen bed and a set of cute bunks for the kids. The breakfast was very good and the atmosphere in the restaurant was so relaxed. I loved the huge live garden wall and the popcorn was so delicious 😋 There is a very well equipped gym and gorgeous roof top pool. The best thing about this property is the amazing staff. They are so friendly and helpful and are so passionate about giving their guests a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend Ibis Styles Malang. Thank you so much 💕
• Karen (8/5): - Staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful and provided great service. We dined in the restaurant one evening. The food was good but limited choice for healthy options. There are two supermarkets locally which at it was easy to get a Grab Car from here to explore. Hotel also helped us with booking a trip to Bromo and to watch the sunrise at King Kong Hill which was amazing. Great hotel for what we needed and helpful that staff had a good understanding of English.

The room was nice and the bed was comfy. I enjoyed staying here. The fitness area is neither small nor big, but there a 2 treadmills and several dumbbells. Breakfast was ok, but I enjoyed the service because the staff was kind and helpful. Love it. Thanks.

The room looks clean at the first sight but if you look closer the sheets have stains, towels are extremely old and curtains are so dirty it's just gross... I would expect much from an Ibis hotel :(

There were no free rooms, but as soon as the hotel got a cancellation from Another guest, the staff reached out to us and offered to stay one more night. We could stay in our room, so that was very comfortable! The breakfast is nice, very big choice of many different dishes. The rooms are simple but fine. The room was very clean but they could organize new bed sheets/ towels since they look already old/ used.

There was a massage place across the road which was amazing and great value for money! $11 NZD for 1 hour. We also did laundry which was $10 NZD for 1 bag which was a fair price. The breakfast wasn’t our favourite. It caters more towards Indonesian food (which makes sense for where it is) but was hoping for more western options.
