• Ng (8/5): - We stayed at MU Hotel for 6 days and 5 nights, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Our group booked 2 family rooms — one for the couple and another for the 3 of us. I personally liked the family room concept because it allowed everyone to mingle and spend time together instead of staying separately in different rooms. Even though there was only one bathroom per room, it was still manageable and comfortable for us. The hotel location was convenient and was one of the reasons why it was recommended to us. The service was also good throughout our stay. The staff responded quite fast whenever we had enquiries online. Another thing we appreciated was the airport shuttle service and scheduled shuttle services to local attractions. The airport shuttle driver was very friendly and even contacted us once our flight arrived. He made us feel welcomed immediately and recommended some popular local cuisines in Ipoh during the ride. The stay overall felt warm and comfortable, and the service left a good impression on us. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Ipoh. The breakfast provided by the hotel was acceptable, but I would suggest not putting very high expectations on it. Since Ipoh has so much good local food, I would personally recommend exploring outside for breakfast instead. Also, the dim sum restaurant opposite the hotel was not really to our liking as foreigners, although this is purely based on personal preference.

Driver Addy is fantastic n friendly, offers good tips on how to walk short cut to attractions. Morning hot water for shower only starts at 6am onwards. If u need to bathe earlier, it will be a problem.

• SENG HONG (10/5): 从火车站走到住宿点，太约25分钟。 途中会经过二奶巷附近，如果不赶时间去check in，可以去那边走走先。 - 房间很干净， 早餐不错，最基本的食物都有。很棒。 运动设施有保养。 当天主食有 椰浆饭，印度炒面，包子（辣的）和咖哩面。如果主食有不辣的就更加棒。 因为伙伴吃不了辣的。

• FELIX MICHEL (9/5): Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cet hôtel. - Cet hôtel est bien situé. Il est à 980 mètres de la vieille ville qu'on peut visiter à pied. Les personnels sont accueillants et serviables. RAS

Vu que nous étions très chargés, ce service était bien appréciable. J'avais réservé 2 chambres séparées. On s'est retrouvé avec un seul logement avec une chambre séparée. Ce n'est pas très grave mais ce n'est pas ce qui était réservé.

Cannot cleanse hands properly and leaves a sticky feeling like hands are not cleansed properly. The sliding door did not stay closed and slid backwards towards the toilet side when I tried to closed while showering .

Korábban át vehettük a szállást, többlet költség nélkül :) Kicsit távolabb esett a központtól, így a nevezetességekhez sokat kellett sétálni. A wifi sajnos egyáltalán nem működött a szobánkban, próbálták megjavítani (ez pozitív) de nem jártak sikerrel.

• KAH FOO (7/5): Worth for money - I like the room simple, clean & quiet. Nearby got Indian restaurant & chinese kopitiam open till late night. Dim Sum restaurant & chinese kopitiam in the morning. So, no need worry for food. Anyway, the toilet bowl is shaky & the tiling at toilet door was sharp edges. Hope the management can look into it. Thanks

• Natalia (9/5): - Отличное место положения, не прям центр, но можно запросто дойти пешком почти по прямой. У нас был номер на верхнем этаже с хорошим видом на город. В номерах чисто, всё удобно. Персонал очень приятный. Рядом отличное корейское BBQ кафе. Немного скудноват завтрак, но голодными не останетесь, просто небольшой выбор блюд.

• Janice (10/5): Highly recommend! - Its our third visit back here and irt's always good to be back! We enjoyed the room, bed, and basic amenities provided in the room. The hotel is also located conveniently near alot of restaurants! This round, we had a room on the opposite side and realise the views are great too! There's nothing much we didn't like, that's why we always return! But if we had to nitpick, it'll be the room's view - there was a wall in the middle of the windows, blocking the views.

Nous avons pu rejoindre notre chambre avant l'heure du check-in officiel. Nombreux restaurants dans le quartier. Quartier calme la nuit. Un peu plus excentré du centre mais rien de très grave.

Wir wurden herzlich vom Concierge empfangen, an dieser Stelle nochmals viele Dank für die Hilfe und den freundlichen Umgang. Die Dame an der Rezeption war ebenfalls sehr zuvorkommend. Obwohl wir etwas früher im Hotel angekommen waren, konnten wir bereits gegen 13 Uhr einchecken und sofort auf unser Zimmer. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut klimatisiert. Nach bereits mehreren Unterkünften in Malaysia, war das Bett für mich persönlich, ein absolutes Highlight. Das bequemste Bett auf dieser Reise, wenn auch leider zwei Einzelbetten. Das Hotel verfügt über eine Tiefgarage, welche sich auf der Rückseite des Hotels befindet. Parken ist somit auch überhaupt kein Problem. Leider konnte wir aufgrund unserer frühen abreisen das Frühstück nicht wahrnehmen, können aber für eine gute Mittagsmahlzeit das "Impressive Restaurant" um die Ecke empfehlen. Die Lage des Hotels war für uns ideal. Wir wollten Ipoh zu Fuß erkunden und hatten damit die perfekte Ausgangslage für unsere Entdeckungen. In ca. 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß an der berühmten Mural Art's Lane. Nochmal 5 Minuten weiter ist man im Bereich des alten Stadtkern mit der "Concubine Lane". Ab da lässt sich hervorragend der Heritage Trail Ipoh starten. Wir würden nochmal her kommen. Die Zimmer sind für zwei Reisende mit zwei großen Koffern recht klein. Es gab keinerlei Möglichkeiten die Koffer abzulegen, nur auf dem Fußboden. Durch die moderne, geschwungenen Wand mit TV Halterungen, geht zusätzlich Platz im Raum verloren.
