- Maureen (10/5): - Amazing Masseria set amongst the orchards and groves in the area of Melendugno. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you could need including a kitchenette and outdoor garden seating area. The bed was very comfortable, the shower pressure and temperature were perfect. Breakfast every morning in the common area was lovely with traditional Italian pastries, cheeses, yogourt, fresh fruit and a warm egg dish. Espresso coffees included. The staff were very welcoming and clearly take pride in their property. The grounds are kept immaculately clean and well manicured. The pool area is inviting with multiple cushioned lounge chairs. Bicycles are available onsite for free. The setting is conveniently located to some of the most beautiful sites in Puglia including: Otranto, Torre dell Orso and Lecce. It is also only a couple of kilometres from the small village of Borgagne. We a found large grocery store (Eurospin) in the town of Melendugno (9KM). Note that the property is gated, be sure to connect with the owners ahead of your arrival to ensure smooth entry, once you are checked in they will give you a remote to open the gate. Do not hesitate to book this place you will be happy you did.
