- Jane (2/5): Dårlig stil på hotellet - Vi ankom til et hotel, hvor der ikke var værelser til os, vi blev henvist til et andet hotel udenfor bymidten, hvor vi skulle tage hen for egen taxa regning. Placeringen var grunden til at vi havde valgt det, så det var rigtig øv Og de var ikke villige til at hjælpe med noget.
- Daniel (10/5): - Located close to the central train station. Getting into the hotel with a stroller for small children was difficult as there were stairs. Had everything we needed for a good nights rest. The breakfast was good.

Server gerne rigtig juice i stedet for det saftevands-lignende nektar.

Short walk to the beautiful lakeside and Lange Reihe where there are lots of little cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. Breakfast buffet was fresh and had plenty of options. Room & bathroom was a little outdated, but everything was clean and comfortable.

Avremmo gradito una comunicazione in anticipo. Camera vetusta, senza telefono e frigobar. Moquette in ogni luogo. Personale alla reception molto formale e distaccato. - Helene (8/5): - Ganske fint ophold. Ret beskedent, slidt hotel med tydeligvis en del år på bagen. Men venligt personale og meget central beliggenhed, og ikke meget larm trods centrum. Ok morgenmad, bortset fra de ikke kunne koge æg. Disse var så hårdkogte at de var sorte og næsten uspiselige. Men der var lidt af hvert ellers. Og ok. Jeg kunne godt finde på at bo der igen fordi at der var rent, sengene var gode, og super beliggenhed. Ja, og så var det jo heller ikke særlig dyrt.

- Anne (6/5): One night in Hamburg - Room was clean but tired/dated. No air con but windows opened. There was no bedside light , or light switch by the bed. Only 2 sockets in the room and a table light (not near the bed) was plugged into one. Bed was firm, pillows very soft. Very good shower. Limited breakfast selection but it was enough. Staff were lovely and we were able to leave our bags before we checked in.

The hotel is close to everything like shopping, museums, the trainstation and so on. Parking in front of the hotel is paid parking from 9 to 22 and from 22 to 9 it is free parking.

- Arlene (8/5): - We stayed for one night on our way to Copenhagen. The property is well managed, elevator is a bit small but working as it's supposed to be, room and bathroom are clean. Mattres is in a good condition. Our room was facing the opposite of the Hbf and it was nice and quiet in the evening.

Our room opened onto the very busy street, and since the weather was very hot we needed the window open so it was very loud late into the night with people yelling, throwing bottles, and sirens. There was no fan or refrigerator, the single beds were very narrow with barely any space between them. The bathroom was very small with no window so a shower resulted in high humidity in the room. On the plus side the location was near to the train and city center with many restaurant choices so it was convenient for sightseeing.

Very quiet rooms that are basic but comfortable. Breakfast was basic but fresh and a decent variety. Would certainly stay again and recommended for budget conscious travellers.
- Roger (2/5): - Without a doubt, it is the worst hotel we have stayed in in our lives. Worst of all was the rude and impolite treatment of the gentleman at the reception. He was rude, spoiled and did not give us a solution to the problem. We reserved a Triple Comfort room with a sofa bed included for three adults, and upon entering the small room it only had two beds. That was all! We asked to be moved to a room for three people and they told us that the hotel was full. Finally they brought a small bed that hardly fit in the small room and made it difficult for us to move inside it. Our son had to sleep in that uncomfortable and old bed that was right next to the heater. They never solved our problem. But the rude and impolite treatment of the reception employee will be unforgettable. Never stay in this hotel.

- Doreen (10/5): - This is my second stay in a Novum Hotel in Hamburg. This hotel is perfect for single and accompanied travellers. 2 minutes from the central railway station and there are many eating places in the neighbourhood. The hotel is quiet and the breakfast is delicious.

In fact, when you arrive it's dirty, ugly smelly rooms, with tattered beds. many steps, people with a suitcase won't even be able to enter the hotel! These people deceive their customers, they charge a very large fee (170€ per night) I do not recommend anyone to book a hotel, they are scammers!
- Chin-Hock (8/5): - Chose hotel for its family room for 4 of us. Arrived at 10am after disembarking from a cruise. Reception was able to get us into a room that was ready for checkin. Room was small but adequate. Breakfast was quite good. Did not have fruit mix that I like that was available at another Novum hotel we stayed at a few weeks ago pre-cruise.

The hotel tries to work with the covid 19 restrictions in their breakfast restaurant, but it is very tight. Would be better to make bookings for breakfast, to avoid too many people in the restaurant. - Magdalena (2/5): Worst bed I've ever slept on. - ) There is little to no chance to get a parking near the hotel, so take into account you'll probably have to park in a garage for around 25 euro/ 24 hrs. ) The beds were the worst I've ever had the displeasure to find in a hotel. Like sleeping directly on wires, just horrible on all accounts. ) Temperature was aweful. Me and my husband slept on the 3rd floor and had to keep our window open from check-in to check-out to not suffocate (and yes, we turned of the radiator). It seems it was the whole floor 3 that was cooked. In-laws slept on 4th floor and didn't have this issue. ) The room and bathroom was clean and felt fresh, which was a slight bonus. ) Breakfast was sort of what we expected. Low quality but reliable. ) Keep in mind that the church bells can be heard every 30 minutes all through the night, if you are a light sleeper this might be a problem.

The hotel is located literally 3 minutes away (on foot) from the Hamburg Main train station, it is in the center of Hamburg - we can walk anywhere, and if we so choose, we can take one of the hop-on-hop-off buses, which leave from the street in front of the Main Train station. The rooms are very quiet. The breakfast is fantastic! Great stay. I'll definitely go back to this hotel next time I'm in Hamburg!

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Clean but needs updating badly. Bathroom was good though with excelent walk in shower. We were a party of 2 adults and 3 boys 8,4 and 3. They were in main bedroom with a badly situated to. We had sofa bed in separate 'lounge area' with only an atrium. No tv in this room. Breakfast good, service solemn.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel was only a few minutes away from the main station. The staff I had contact with were all friendly and helpful. There are about a dozen steps to climb up to the entrance which would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. The only drawback with the room was the he bed was against the window and the cold air was flowing over my head but the room layout meant that was the only place for the bed.
- Paul (8/5): Great location. - Great location 3 min walk from Central station so very easy to get to from the airport.Small room but ok for 2 guys over for the weekend,room was very hot even though it was the middle of November had to sleep with the window open.Hotel is in a nice little square with half a dozen resturants and bars right next to it.Easy to get around either on foot or by train.

- Carol (8/5): Novum Norddeutscherhof great for a short stay. - We had a great stay. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Room was cleaned each day. Hotel was situated very conveniently in St Georg, so we were able to get everywhere with ease. Wifi was great in the hotel.Great hotel for a short stay in Hamburg. Just a pity there is no lounge on ground floor, for guests to relax in.
- Phil (10/5): Lads weekend - Great hotel in a good area next to central station with cafes, restaurants & bars all around. Small clean rooms bathroom did the job. Comfortable beds but not enough pillows. Great friendly & knowledgable staff. S bahn & u bahn 2 mins away
