Rob and Ian have a great network to help you line up your stay. For example we rented e-bikes for a day loop tour. The breakfasts can only be described as elaborate. A gigantic library of movies organized by decade.

Our hosts were so amazingly helpful and guided us with a great nap. They were there at every turn but also gave us our space. The place was spotless and the view was spectacular. It was right across from the ocean so we could walk a long way either way and have beautiful scenery. We would highly recommend this to anyone and it is certainly our favorite place in all of Australia to stay. The bedding and furnishings were all high quality and pristine.We hope to be back

- Verified traveler (10/5): Gorgeous Modern Stay - Rob and Ian welcomed us immediately on arrival. They provided lots of information about the area and regarding local restaurants. Their patio faces the water, and they served us drinks there. Amenities include 2 hot pools, a cinema room as well as in room movies, and multiple patios to relax on. Our room, like the rest of the space, was impeccably decorated in contemporary style. Toiletries were high end, as well as the linens. The breakfast was gourmet with unlimited offerings. Their hospitality made us feel as if we were saying goodbye to old friends! Highly recommended.

The hosts were an absolute delight to stay with, and their home is truly 5 stars, the interior design is gorgeous and everything is of the highest quality, but also extremely comfortable! The breakfast is special!! We will be booking again to go back at the soonest opportunity.

- CEREN (10/5): Rating 10/10 - I booked Starhaven retreat for my husband's birthday and it was the nicest experience ever. The hosts were the most welcoming people, the house incredible! You can stay here for a week and you wouldn't be bored of it. Its got everything to cater for your pleasure; cinema, indoor AND outdoor spa, sauna, billiards table, bar, rooftop terrace with barbecue facilities all this over looking the stunning beach. It was so lovely. Delicious breakfast served in the morning. It was just like staying with your favorite relatives. 10/10

Facilities amazing with private lounges for relaxing, amazing views, a swim spa to soak away and best of all incredible hosts. They made our few days a luxury with their pampering and attention to detail...nothing spared. We so enjoyed the leisurely breakfast and their company. Nothing was too much trouble with a cold,winter night warmed with toast and tea when we didn't feel like going out. Just what we wanted.

There is plenty to keep one entertained with amenities which include an indoor heated pool/spa, a cinema and bar, a billiards room and an outdoor spa. This is a first class environment in which to escape and unwind.

The large house (on 3 levels) has great sea views and living spaces. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The most surprising element was the theatre/cinema - a better experience than the most luxurious commercial cinema. Our group of 4 was delighted to be able to watch the Australian Open Tennis Women's Final in comfort. Thanks for a great experience!

- Wendy Rose (10/5): Opportunity to experience modern architecture. - Just the fact that this house is famous for being part of a TV series (Australian Grand Designs) is enough to inspire a stay, but to really experience life inside modern architecture is something that you do not get to do everyday. The house has lots of spaces to explore. Make sure you allow time away from the fabulous beach, long sand bar paddles, ship watching and visits to neighbouring towns, to experience the house facilities. The star filled sky from the roof top matches the star filled sky of the in-house (gold star) theatre! We will be back.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Luxury and relaxing - An impressive house overlooking the water between St Leonard and Portarlington. Fantastic facilities to sit and read and enjoy the view. My mum and I enjoyed the cinema expereince equivalent to Gold Class and the spa. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices including a hot breakfast. The rooms were large and spacious with our own balcony looking over the water.

- Davey (10/5): Luxurious Accommodation and Hospitality - My wife and I were fortunate enough to have stumbled upon one of our greatest finds in The Starhaven Retreat, Ian & Rob were so accommodating to our every requirement and then some. We were treated to a fantastic meal to celebrate my Birthday consisting of fresh seasonal ingredients and beautifully prepared seafood on site.The rooms had all one could desire or ask from a 5 star hotel,WiFi, In room Spa, Downstairs cinema with a big screen and complete with refreshments and reclining seats. We were left totally to our own devices enabling us to relax and be doted on at the same time. Full continental breakfast both mornings and local tips and advice on where to go and what to see. I can highly recommend this as a must stay nestled quietly on the Bellarine Peninsula.

They showed us around and made us feel like we were at home. The house is simply Awesome. They were there to advise you what places to see and where to eat. They were there to have a chat with you and if you wanted to be alone they that was good as well. The swim spa and the drinks at the bar were great. Michele and I would defiantly recommend staying there.
