• Matthew (8/5): A lovely stay, only slightly marked by the noisy shop. - Friendly staff, good location. Nice breakfast. Villa 1 and 2 are close to the entrance and back onto a relatively busy road and shop. Go for a pool view villa if possible.

• menno (5/5): Wij hebben het goed naar ons zin gehad maar de tip is onderhoud op tijd.Dan had het perfect geweest - Locatie is top. Goed uitzicht en na een kort loopje zo op het strand. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en de lunch was erg lekker! Over het algemeen, achterstallig onderhoud. Airco’s deden het niet of onvoldoende. Deze moesten worden bijgevuld. Aangegeven maar in de vijf dagen niets mee gebeurd of op terug gekomen. Zwembad was vies en onder water staken allerlei electra draden uit de muur waar een lamp had moeten zitten en een andere lamp lag op de bodem met de bedrading er nog aan. Bij de kameropmaak wordt alleen het bed opgemaakt wt geveegd en dat is het. Niet gedweild tissues e.d. niet goed aangevuld.

A bit remote, but renting a car to explore different areas was very easy. - The Villas were great - scenic and quiet, with the location just a short walk to the beach area and nearby restaurants. The villas are quite far south on Koh Lanta. Expect a fairly spendy cab ride (600 baht+) to the livelier areas, like North beach, and a long ride (40 minutes) - no fault of Puteri Lanta! The villas themselves were wonderful, spacious, and very nice.

• Claire (10/5): Absolutely amazing stay we have had the best time! - What a place! from the very point of booking Aneesa was incredible with all comms before and during our trip.. we arrived very early Jetlagged and were greeted with the warmest smile and hospitality! If you are looking for 5* hotel swanky..this place isn't for you.... But if you are looking for a family friendly safe place to stay this is it! aircon in bedrooms but not in main area which was no problem we also had a huge fan and a put me up bed was arranged for our son we travelled with our 3 children ages 8,12 and 19.. Puteri is just a short walk away from restaurants, cafes, bars, local shops and 7/11, ATM and the most beautiful clean beach!, and a short taxi ride away from the most southerly national park! Puteri was very peaceful at night just jungle noises and the cockerel in the morning which we loved! we ate the Puteri a few times and the food was exceptional and very reasonably priced. All trips could be booked from the reception with a generous discount and also laundry for 60bht a kilo! I wouldn't hesitate staying here again. we just loved it....

• Vitalijus Pundinas (10/5): - Amazing staff. They always help with any questions, tours, transfers and ect. One of the best service I have ever experienced. The place is quite big, good kitchen, terrace, living room,bedroom. Also there is a restaurant 5meters away where u can eat or order room service food. One of the best stays Shower could be a little more cleaner and kitchen could be better equiped.

Staff very friendly and helpful for booking trips, laundry, transfers etc. Location is spot on, very quiet but can get to beach, restaurants and shop within a few minutes walk. Had a nice time here! The bedroom doors didn't close very easily in the bungalow but not a big thing

• Jen (8/5): It was a lovely property! - The staff at Puteri Lanta villas were very helpful and nice. They all spoke excellent English, which was very helpful considering my family speaks only a few words of Thai :) We would have enjoyed a few more amenities in the rooms. For example, our bedroom had a balcony, but the balcony did not have any furniture, so it made it difficult to enjoy, as we had to drag out chairs from downstairs to sit, and there was no table. A small table and chair set on the balcony would have gone a long way. Also, in our first suite the bedside lamps didn't work, and we had to request replacement lightbulbs for them. In the second villa (we moved on our last night) there were no bedside lamps, so it made cozy reading in bed or more pleasant lighting in the bedroom impossible, as there were only bright overhead lights.

Nice pool and good breakfast at the restaurant- we ordered from the menu each day as did not have it included and I believe this is better option. Good location as only a short walk from the beach. Good price for the laundry. Helpful and very kind staff. Would come back!

Leide en scooter fra hotellet og kjørte til sentrum for mat. Ikke veldig viktig, men de serverer ikke alkohol. Noe støy fra dyr om natten under hotellgulvet i nedre del av villa. Veldig harde senger, men sånn er det i Thailand.

• David (10/5): Great area with very good cheap food and drinks and fantastic accommodation. - We have been to a number of different places during our Thailand trip but this was by far the best. The villas are fantastic and I woke up every morning with a massive smile on my face. Coming back here as soon as I can for as long as I can! Don’t let this put you off but our 2 bedroom villa required 3 different keys for each room and air con in the lounge/ kitchen area would be nice.

Mais on n'a pas besoin de cuisiner vu la qualité des repas et le prix! Piscine à débordement avec vu sur la mer. 5 mn à pieds de la mer et des commerces et restaurants.

• Christian (10/5): - Die Pool Villa war wirklich ein Traum. Moderne und Tradition verbunden und ein unglaublicher Pool. Frühstück war ausreichend, man konnte täglich auswählen was man möchte, da war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei und jeder bekam einen Teller mit Früchte. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Es gab nur einen Punkt zu bemängeln. Der Pool ist auf der Sonnenseite, so weit so gut. Allerdings gab es keine Sonnenschirme, wir mussten daher etwas improvisieren mit Tüchern etc. So das es erträglich war. Das war aber der einzige Kritikpunkt

God pool og billederne er retvisende. Imødekommende personale! Aircondition var ustabil. Vi blev lidt forstyrret af lyde om natten - husene er støjfølsomme fra skoven og vejret.

En effet, une souris ou un rat était présent dans l’hébergement. Impossible d y rester car la nuit a été catastrophique. L endroit pourrait être formidable mais pas assez entretenu. L hygiène est à revoir (serviettes tachées, propreté limite, moisissures et champignons présents dans la salle de bain, pas de débit dans la douche…) c est dommage car l hôtel pourrait être top.

Ręczniki nie były zmieniane codziennie , ogólnie nie było sprzątane w pokojach . Łazienka wymaga gruntownego czyszczenia ! Na łączeniach wanny pleśń , dysze w wannie w tragicznym stanie, ogólnie w łazience śmierdzi . Hotel już ma trochę lat , wymaga doinwestowania . Przez wszystkie szparki wchodzą robaki , a materace na wspólnym basenie na leżakach wymagają wymiany . Bałabym się na tym położyć . Ogólnie za tą cenę , spodziewałabym się lepszego standardu , głównie chodzi mi o czystość Wokół hotelu nic się nie dzieje , w dole miejscowości 7 eleven i kilka sklepów , raczej miejsce dla zmotoryzowanych

• AUDREY (6/5): - Les jeunes filles a la reception sont vraiment adorables. Un superbe accueil et tres reactives. L emplacement de l hotel est top surtout pour les familles a cote des plus belles plages de l ile. La vue de la maison est magnifique. Nous avions une maison 2 chambres avec piscine et pas du tout adapté aux familles. Les chambres sont dans deux batiments separes. C est tres vetuste. Ca meriterait une veritable refection. Il y a des souris qui ronge le bois et qui rentrent dans le logement donc compliqué de bien dormir. Il y a aussi des insectes qui sont dans les poutres et nous avons eu une invasion sur nos lits la derniere nuit. Tres professionnellement ils nous ont dedomagé pour les desagrements.

• Charlotte (5/5): Bon emplacement , mais problème de présence de rats/souris - Chambre prête dès notre arrivée avant l’heure de Check in prévue Personnel serviable , à l’écoute et réactif . Bon repas , piscine vu sur la mer au calme . J’a dû écourté mon séjour car il y avait un rat dans notre logement qui nous a empêché de dormir toute la nuit, et où on a retrouvé des crottes jusque sur la table de chevet de mes enfants, notre pain a été grignoté. Même si le technicien est venu mettre un piège , j’ai préféré être remboursé de ma deuxième nuit et allez ailleurs . L’hôtel n’avait pas d’autres chambres disponibles .
• Patrick (8/5): - Bel emplacement sur la colline : belle vue et calme assuré tout en étant à quelques minutes à pied d'une belle plage et de restaurants sympa. Notre villa était très grande et assez propre à notre arrivée. Le personnel est très gentil et répond aux demandes très rapidement. L'hôtel propose toujours un tarif intéressant lorsqu'on demande un service extérieur : lessive, taxi, excursions. Le choix est assez important au petit déjeuner mais il faut faire un choix et les quantités sont très variables : si vous choisissez l'option pancake, il y en aura un et vous aurez vite faim tandis qu'avec une assiette anglaise vous aurez bien mangé. Une belle semaine passée au puteri malgré quelques points à améliorer. LE point qui fâche, c'est l'entretien de la villa au cours du séjour. Le ménage quotidien est très succinct, voire inexistant. 1er jour rien, 2eme jour on a du demander un second passage car les sols n'avaient pas été balayé depuis 2 jours. Les sanitaires ( douches, lavabos et toilettes) n'ont pas été nettoyés une seule fois en 6 jours. Pas de remplissage des distributeurs de gel douche. Si on demande, c'est corrigé rapidement et avec le sourire, mais à ce tarif on peut espérer mieux! S'ajoute à ça le vieillissement de la villa qui est visible. Des éléments ont été repeints mais sans précautions : il y a donc des tâches de peinture/ lasure partout, ce qui ajoute à l'impression de saleté... même quand cest propre.

• A (5/5): Hotelanlage mit Potential - Wir waren zu 4. (2 Paare) in einer Villa.. Die Aufteilung ist geräumig und ermöglicht genügend Privatsphäre. Jedes Paar hatte sozusagen sein eigenes Haus, welche mit einer gemeinsamen Terrasse verbunden waren. Man hat sich willkommen gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Bei Anliegen waren sie sofort hilfsbereit. Zum Strand sind es zu Fuß ca. 10 Minuten. Um dorthin zu gelangen läuft man teilweise durch die kleine Einkaufsstraße des Ortes. Der Strand selber ist sehr ruhig, es gibt keine Liegen die man mieten kann. Aber in den Bars am Strand gibt es Sandsäcke oder ähnliches womit man gemütlich im Sand sitzen kann. Die kleine Bucht hat viele Steine im Wasser, was wir persönlich aber nicht schlimm fanden. Die Hotelanlage ist schön, aber leider in die Jahre gekommen. In den Zimmern kann man teilweise zwischen den Holzdielen des Bodens bis ins Gebüsch darunter hindurchschauen. Fenster und Türen sind ziemlich bezogen und am Pool sind einige Liegen schon sehr morsch. Die Leiter des Pools ist notdürftig zusammengeklebt und innerhalb des Pools ist eine Lampe nicht mehr an der Wand befestigt. Sie liegt auf dem Boden und da Kabel hängt frei im Pool. Das fand ich wirklich gefährlich. Die Reinigung der Zimmer hat uns allerdings am meisten erschreckt. Der Boden war schon bei Ankunft ziemlich dreckig und das hat sich während unseres Aufenthaltes auch nicht geändert. Toilettenpapier wurde nur auf Nachfrage erneuert. Dann aber sofort. Hier muss ich sagen, wir waren nur 3 Nächte dort. Ich kann verstehen, wenn man dann keinen Großputz macht. Aber offensichtliche Dinge wie, verschmutzte Toilette/ Badewanne oder fehlendes Papier müssen gesehen werden.

L’emplacement face à l’une des plus belle plage de l’île. Je n’ai jamais vu de personnes aussi gentilles de toute ma vie. Rien. Tout etait parfait
• Petr (8/5): Pěkné ubytování - Prostorné domečky. Vzhledem k tomu, že ubytovaní není u moře, ocenili jsme bazén. Hotelová restaurace neměla v nabídce pivo a zavírala velmi brzo. Personál milý, ale uklid nebyl dostatečný. Velmi staré vybavení v kuchyni a nedostatek nádobí.

Tiles flooring in some areas are slippery when wet, villas are on a hill so wouldn’t suit some but this is a hilly area and we found it fine.

Vor allem mit Kindern nicht. - Das Personal war freundlich Es war extrem schmutzig, außerdem war der Lärm (da gerade weitere Häuser gebaut werde) unerträglich. Wir haben dann gleich am Morgen die Unterkunft verlassen. Es hat außerdem reingeregnet, es war das ganze Wohnzimmer nass. Es waren sehr viele Mücken, es wurden jedoch keine Moskitonetze zur Verfügung gestellt. In der Nacht hörte man sehr lautes Hundegebell.

• Lauren (1/5): Worst experience I’ve ever had in Thailand! Avoid! - The view was nice but you are very high up and far away from the beach with extremely steep slopes that are very unsafe for children or older people. On arrival to our family “villa” with 2 bedrooms we quickly realised that the bedrooms were in two completely separate buildings with separate keys, a dangerous staircase and a pool in between. This would be a death trap for my 5yr old if he wanted me in the night / that’s if he could even use the difficult keys to get out or I would have to leave him unlocked in this other building. Saying they are not connected means that they are not next to each other. It does not anywhere state that they are in separate buildings with separate keys. The photo they show is extremely deceptive. We arrived and it was unsafe so we asked to change rooms and they said they had nothing else for us. We asked if we could get a refund they refused and also refused to let us speak to the manager in Bangkok even though they were on the phone to them. I tried to rectify this through booking.com but they said that they photo shows it like this. This is absolutely not true. We had to leave as it was certainly not safe. I asked if they rented out the room if they can please offer some refund as they have rented it again. They should be giving us a refund because they deceptively sold the property as a villa with two bedrooms but it is separate buildings which they hide in their images. On another note their driver nearly killed my children driving up these dangerous steep slopes and wouldn’t let us out of the car when we were screaming and all the luggage was flying on top of us and the kids nearly fell out onto the hard gravel from the truck that he wasn’t able to drive and was flying back down the road - completely out of control. When I came back to the property a few days later there was another family staying in the property that I was paying for. I spoke with them and they let me know that they moved in there the morning after we didn’t stay. Our booking was 20-26th Dec. They moved in 21st and and planned to leave 26th.
• Signe (9/5): Glimrende ophold på venligt hotel - Poolen var fantastisk, aircondition virkede upåklageligt og udsigten var god. Det bedste var personalets venlighed. Gode restauranter i forskellige prisklasser i nærheden. Restauranten var ikke den bedste, men efterhånden fandt vi ud af, hvad der var godt. Døren ind til badeværelset er af glas og kun delvist dækket med film. Der kunne komme myg ind på det ene badeværelse.
• Ivo (9/5): Spacious villa with pool - We booked the Family Two-Bedroom Pool Villa and really enjoyed our stay. The villa was very comfortable, spacious, and airy. The highlight was definitely the private pool – absolutely wonderful and perfect for relaxing. The location is very good if you are traveling by car, and the service was quite fast and responsive. There were a few minor misunderstandings and some privacy-related issues during our stay, but they were resolved well in the end. It’s important to note that the villas are located in the middle of nature, so ants can be a bit of an annoying presence, even inside the villa. It would be nice if the terrace had comfortable sun loungers. During the day, café service and breakfast can be ordered directly to the villa, which is very convenient and a great bonus.
