- franceso589 (10/5): Great smiles and service! - I was only here one night but what an impact! Bob checked me in and he was great, very thorough. On my way out to dinner, Cherie greeted me with a big smile and complimented my brand new peach sweater and how it looked on me. And when I came back with my to-go dinner and asked “What time does the bar open again?” Kevin responded “Right now!”, even though I’m sure it would open until another 20 minutes or so. He also came to my rescue by providing one of those stain pen remover after I spilled something on my pants!

- Omar (10/5): Great stay. Will definitely stay at this location next time I’m in town. - Updated, modern, close to Pinecrest mall and the freeway. Nice common area with pool table and board games. Common area very nice. Made to order breakfast had great prices. The rooms were excellent, but the bathroom has no towel racks whatsoever. The common area had a little bit too much air freshener. Convenience food items were overpriced.

- Nylene (7/5): The hotel offers a reasonable price for its location, making it a good value overall. - I was required to present confirmation of my breakfast purchase via Booking.com, as breakfast is typically offered separately or incurs a daily charge. Despite initial hesitation regarding third-party bookings, the establishment honored my request after I provided the necessary documentation. While the issue was ultimately resolved, the process was somewhat inconvenient. It was communicated that their systems do not interface effectively, which, from my perspective, should not impact a service I have already paid for. Aside from the breakfast incident, our king suite accommodations were satisfactory. However, the sliding bathroom door, which separates the shower and toilet area from the vanity and the rest of the suite, would not remain closed. Additionally, our proximity to an exit door resulted in disruptive noise due to its frequent forceful closure, an issue we understand is beyond your immediate control but significantly impacted our rest.

- leonardbJ7357TT (10/5): Amazing Stay - I’m a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium and this is one of the best properties I’ve stayed at. Not because it’s an Aloft as they all look alike but the staff is way different. From the amazing Jontay at the front desk with a great greeting and professionalism to Carmen in housekeeping who kept my room together like i was at a Ritz Carlton. This is the kind of treatment customers should receive to make the stay wonderful. The Aloft Cleveland Beachwood gets an A+ from me!!
- Sherpa07400071067 (10/5): The staff put my faith back into customer service!! Warm, helpful and kind! - I arrived at the hotel after some family drama. The concierge was sweet, kind and patient. My room was a bit musty and I went down to ask for a room change. She helped me with a smile and when I went down for another key..she was still smiling.
The rest of the staff was just as personable. The give a pen and I really wanted a pink one. The housekeeper said he'd hook me up. Well, I checked out before I saw him. Actually as I was loading up my car, he's walked by and was like, "Here's your pen."
The hotel was clean and the staff really cared. (Made eye contact...were present...and not on their phones.)

- Johnna (7/5): Despite the small imperfections I ran into throughout my stay the over all experience was ok - The lobby was very clean and organized When I first arrived the room I was assigned to was not clean. The receptionist did reassign me to another room that was clean and in a better location in the property. There was no ice on either floor and when I originally purchased my room through booking it said breakfast included but the receptionist said I did not have a meal plan and had to pay.

- William (7/5): Reasonable priced hotel with modern decor. - Staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is in a newer building, and presented a clean, modern appearance. Reasoanble price versus nearby competition. The mattress was very soft. Room 210 is opposite the elevator and experiences higher than average noise from the movement of other guests. For increased security, I would like to see a card reader on the glass door next to the bar area - restricting access to hotel guests only.

- Arthur (9/5): Overall, very with the hotel and staff especially Tannica and the tall male front desk reception - Everything about the hotel was great! I would revisit. Animals... I am not an advocate of animals being around food and in my bed. I have animal fur allergies, and I would recommend that animals stay on one side of the hotel period! You can smell the animals when you enter the rooms. Please isolate them to one side of the hotel.

- E1780QEerick (10/5): Top tier hotel bar experience - Tannica was my bartender at the "wxyz" bar in the hotel lobby. I could not have had a more comfortable experience and lovely drinks. Highly recommend if you're visiting Beachwood! The rooms are extremely clean and well kept! And make sure Tannica is serving on a night you're staying. She'll take wonderful care of you!

- lchjr (6/5): A Bit Disappointed - We spent three nights here. First, I have to say that it had been a while since we've stayed in an Aloft. I had forgotten that the chain caters to the business traveler (especially single travelers). We are a retired couple, and some of our needs, etc. may be different from a typical Aloft traveler. Others may be just fine with issues we had. We had a King Suite, and it was generally clean and comfortable. But Aloft rooms are minimalist (spartan) in nature---just not very welcoming).
The pluses here were two large TV's in the suite, friendly staff, nice lobby and outdoor sitting area, and a nice bar. Beachwood is an upscale area, and there are some highly rated restaurants and good shopping within a short drive of the hotel. The hotel is right off I-271, but in an office park that gets no road noise. Plenty of free parking is available.
Negatives. The room had several issues. The toilet seat was broken (was fixed after our first night). We had two shampoo bottles, but no conditioner. And the last morning of our stay, we had no hot water (finally got some tepid water after ten minutes or so). Breakfast is more for the grab-and-go crowd. There are limited offerings of somewhat overpriced items. These are continental breakfast type items, which are not that good. The above made our stay less enjoyable.

- Stephen (10/5): Nicest Mariott property I've ever stayed at - The hotel is very updated and comfortable. The pool is very family friendly and the rooms are all updated and inviting. This is probably the nicest Mariott property I've ever stayed at. If I return to Cleveland I definitely want to stay here again. Bathrooms are great and the glass doors are a plus. The beds were very comfortable as well. The hotel even has a nice smell throughout it.

- RobinLloyd (8/5): Solid choice, friendly service, and convenient - Room was a little worn, and spartan in the typical Aloft way. But everything worked fine, and the bed was plenty comfortable for our two-night stay. The vibe and service were terrific, particularly the front desk manager, Tannica. She set the tone: professional, efficient, and welcoming. Would stay here again next time I'm in the area.

- R1112QLjohnc (10/5): Perfect to work and then reload for the day ahead - From the friendly greeting and accommodating my early check-in, to a quiet room, so I could effectively work remotely, just a fabulous stay. Every employee was friendly, answered questions and made stay a pleasure. I would no longer consider anywhere else on eastside of Cleveland. Despite being a few years old, seems brand new. Clean, beautiful view. Good in hotel food and drink choices and plenty of options directly next door or across the street. Should be your go to for area. It is mine.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Would stay again - Check in was super easy. Staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was nice and the lounge was nice. Their gym was great, and so was the outdoor patio.
The room was nice, modern, and clean. Shower was real nice.
My only complaint is the seating in the room is odd. Long couch under the TV looking towards the bed, and there was a bean bag chair.

- shanam132 (2/5): Disappointed Experience at Aloft Cleveland Beachwood - booked two rooms with Marriott Bonvoy and Marriott Bonvoy put in a request on my behalf for connecting rooms. I called the night before check in to confirm the rooms will be connecting and the manager, Tameka/Taneka said that she will block the rooms as connecting. When we arrived the next day (after a very long day of travel) we were informed by Tameka herself that there were no connecting rooms available. We were instructed to take a seat in the lobby for about 10 minutes, and eventually we were waved back to the check in desk by Tameka. She informed us that the best she could do was upgrade one room to a larger configuration, however, we would not be assigned connecting rooms. She then proceeded to give us keys for just one of the two rooms. After reaching our rooms on the third floor, we realized that we were missing keys for one of the rooms. The hotel phone did not work. Thankfully, Tamala realized that she had not given keys for both rooms and sent an employee up with the second set of keys. As we are traveling with young children, it is imperative that we have safe and family friendly accommodations, and not having connecting rooms is a tremendous disappointment. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated for receiving verbal confirmation that was ultimately not fulfilled.
- Loveitoutwest2014 (8/5): Fine for a night - The staff of the hotel were truly professional and friendly. The only drawback was the layout of the room, the decor and an odd beanbag chair that I avoided. Fortunately, there was a regular chair at the desk if I needed to sit in a chair. The bed was quite comfortable.
For one night, it was fine. For a longer stay, I will select a more traditional style of hotel and hope that the people working there are as nice to me as they were at Aloft.

window view…. The bathroom area was small but nice The walls were thin resulted in noise from the other rooms. Since I was on the second floor I could hear the footsteps from upstairs. Terrible view frim the window. If I stayed again I would go with upper level rooms and bring me something to muzzle the noise from the rooms next door.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Not the best. - Staff was nice. We were in the suite at the end of the hall. ALL NIGHT LONG we had to listen to the exterior door slamming every ten minutes like somebody was selling drugs in the parking lot.
Room was dirty and beat up - broken bedside tables, rugs were a mess, bathroom had probably 2 tubes of silicone sealing the shower, etc..
Place was ghetto.

- sunshine (10/5): - I was greeted as I entered the lobby. The front desk was kind and smiling. She appeared happy. She quickly checked me in and gave directions to our room. The halls were clean. Elevator could have had a spot clean but nothing terrible. Our room was at a good temperature and we did not have to mess with it at all. The room was clean and organized. All staff we came in contact with were pleasant. Checkout was quick and again front desk staff were smiling and promptly addressed me as I walked up. The grounds were well kept as well. Felt safe in this area.
