Guest Reviews
- Surbhi (4/5): - The staff at the reception act as if they are being forced to speak with us. The rooms were dirty, we found trash from previous occupants lying around. And the best part is, the lights in one of the bedrooms wasn’t working.
- Lisa (8/5): - Condo was lovely! Our only complaint was the deadbolt that locked us out! Security helped us quickly but that lock needs an update to 2024!
- ma (6/5): - The condo is outdated but clean. It was just an average place to spend the night, no whistles or bells. Could use new flooring (carpets are worn and subfloor was extremely squeaky, to the point that it could wake up sleeping guests). Walking distance to Village.
- Jeff (10/5): - Beautiful place. I would stay here again if I could.
- Luke (4/5): - We never got to stay at the property. We booked for a local lacrosse tournament, because we are a larger family and don’t fit in a regular hotel room.
Unfortunately, we had a medical issue (anaphylactic allergy reaction) where we had to leave early and not stay. They did not honor a refund through Expedia, whom we booked through. We recommended several team families with larger groups to their resort, but will not continuing forward.
- alexandra (10/5): - Very comfortable condo near the Stratton Mountain lifts. Very comfortable beds, lots of extra bedding. We would definitely stay here again.
- Amy (8/5): - I loved condo we stayed in. Clean and very spacious. Everything was so close and shuttle was awesome to have. I wish the staff would have explained the shuttle schedule to us, thank goodness our neighbor explained it to us! Would definitely stay here again.
- Jenna (4/5): Okay - It was a nice place but very over priced. Firewood was wet and there was no trash in the kitchen couch was comfy and bed was great!
- Matthew (10/5): Beautiful area. Well worth the price! - Rodrigo was very friendly and informative at check in. Condo was slightly dated but large and clean. It had a working fireplace and they provided wood which was a plus. I would and likely will book there again.
- Stephen (10/5): - Condo was spacious. Loved the fireplace and balcony
- Nicholas (4/5): - Not an ideal place to stay
- Kate (10/5): - Amazing stay - The condo was cozy and perfect for our family!
- Roberta (10/5): Overnight Getaway - Great place to stay! We went on a last minute Father’s Day weekend trip and had the best time! Great location close to the shops and restaurants.
- Sandeep (8/5): - Spacious and extremely well maintained apartments. Loved the wood fireplace. Swimming and gym facilities are located separately at wellness center and they charge $30 extra!
- Nancy (8/5): - Walking to village. Condo has everything you need to feel comfortable for a getaway.
- Deanie (8/5): Go to the black bear lodge to check in! - Check in was difficult since the maps sent you to a flooded out area or to Urgent Care. After about 30 minutes we found the lodge.
- Anthony (10/5): - Good value on hotel.com in this area for an apartment with plenty of room and a kitchen.
- Karen (6/5): Could use some work - Overall our stay was good.
Was quite frustrating to find out that we had to pay $30/per family to use the pool facility. The pool is shown in the advertisement for the villa..so naturally, we thought we could use it. Our 9-year-old daughter was quite disappointed as we weren't prepared to pay $30 to use the pool for an hour.
The mattress in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable, my husband and I had to sleep on the couch as we didn't sleep at all during the first night.
- Duval G. (10/5): Terrific weekend stay! - Pleasantly surprised to find two bathrooms in unit (only one listed). Also surprisingly well stocked kitchen and plenty of closet space. Everything clean and cared for… some things a bit dated, but functional. Location was good, size was perfect for our family of four. Real wood burning fireplace made it super cozy! Would book again and request #44 as I gather not all units are the same.
- Danya (8/5): Good location but there were problems… - The first night the condo was COLD. The heat had been turned off prior to our arrival. The heating system could not and did not catch up.
By the second day we had used up the wood left next to the fireplace .I had no intention of hauling more firewood up 3 flights of steps!
I called the welcome center and they sent over a portable electric heater . Between using the heater and leaving the electric oven on 400 degrees with the door open, the condo finally warmed up.
The steam bath in the master bathroom did not work. There was no soap in the second bathroom.
Despite comments in reviews that the kitchen was well stocked, there was not even salt and pepper!
This was unit 23. Possibly other units in this complex had an adequate heating system and a few spices in the kitchen .
- Dusan (8/5): - The property was dated but clean and family friendly.
- katrina (10/5): The Mountain View’s are stunning - Amazing views. Would be perfect for fall colors or for winter mountain sports. The view from the deck is breathtaking. Must see location in Vermont. Friendly staff. Check in was a breeze. Condo had everything you’d need. Great for girls trip, families, couples or soli travelers. They have ski and snow board storage unit for each condo at the entry to the condo stairway. They offer a fully stocked wood bins right out front for fires. Must stay. I’ll be back. I’m from Washington state and already planning my next trip. Stratton is a beautiful resort community. All the towns going up are amazing to stop in as well.
- Yucong (10/5): - A very well maintained facility. Great location and environment. Truly enjoyed the stay.
- Rosemary (2/5): - The condo was old with stained carpets, broken shower doors, fleas cominh out of the rug, unassembled bed frame and dirty pots and pans.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Fall Weekend - Great location directly across from Stratton Mountain. The condo is good size and nice to have a parking garage for your car.
- Georgi (10/5): - Everything went well. Not sure why it says pets not allowed, when there are dog poop bag dispensers all over the property and people are walking their dogs.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Deferred
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We visited in the summer so there were no crowds and we could walk around enjoying the area. Nice condo, comfortable beds, the property was clean and the garden in front was in full bloom.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Great place to stay in Stratton! Convenient. Well stocked. Very comfortable. We’d come again!
- Nick (10/5): Ski trip - Great location. Take advantage of the shuttle
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Stayed in #23. The space was great. Loved having the kitchen and fireplace and living room vs a hotel room. So you pay for that. The condo was clean and neat. The towels were excellent. Not overly updated but that’s almost expected. The shuttle to the mountain was convenient and timely. Door to mountain service. About a mile so it is fast. The one thing bad was the master bedroom mattress- definitely need a new one. The twin beds were good. There was a washer and dryer that looked good but we didn’t use it. I would rent this unit again. We left happy.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It’s very old. The condo is truly just a place to sleep. It’s very outdated. The check in process is not clear. The address take you to an empty parking lot in the condo complex meanwhile you have to call the help line and go to a completky different lodge to get keys. Check is way to late after 4pm and check is 11 sharp.
- Steve (6/5): Fall color ride thru Vermont. - Needed a place with 2 rooms so we stayed here. A little run down, water boilers weren't on yet so we had to build a fire to heat the place. Beds were not comfy at all. Small old TV's, but there was a VCR. Nice amount of board games for use.
- Julia (10/5): Positive Vibes - The condo was in perfect condition upon arriving. The staff at the resort was so friendly and were incredibly professional. You could tell how much the staff cared for the people that were staying there. I would strongly recommend this play for the future.
- Kalpana (10/5): Ski Vacation - We went on 3/24-26/2017. This two bedroom unit had more than enough room for a family of four. Our particular unit and bunk beds in the kids rooms. The kitchen was well equipped and the check in process was smooth. You had to go the main Stratton area check in center for the keys to the unit. This was a 4 minute drive to the mountain and frequent shuttle bus service was present. there was a wood burning fireplace which was a really lovely touch
- Bill (6/5): Decent resort in a breathtaking location - Check in was easy and staff was pleasant and helpful. We booked a condo with kitchen and fireplace. The layout of the room was good, but the carpet in the living room was covered with old stains, the TV did not work and there was no instructions on how to use. There was mold in the grout lines in the shower unit off of the master bedroom. The lavatory faucet was very hard to use. My wife could not pull it on. The master bedroom mattress was so firm my hips hurt in the morning and my wife hardly slept it was so uncomfortable. The last disappointment was a note left on the hearth stating we couldn't use the fireplace. Overall quite disappointing.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The town house was very clean and the area was excellent. Their were a few restaurants to choose from right in the village area which were very good. Our room was comfortable and with a well stocked kitchen and all linens supplied. The room service was excellent and replenished our towels everyday. Would highly recommend. We did a lot of sightseeing in Manchester which was a 20 minute drive from Stratford Mtn. Very convenient to everything.
- sharon (10/5): - Exceptionally surprised with all the amentities offered.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a nice stay. Shops/food in villa pricey, golf course is nice also pricey. Everyone that worked there was very friendly. Surprised there was no ac in the unit, not too much of an impact on our weekend but would have been nice to have.
- Ellen M (10/5): Very pleased! - The place was wonderful, just wished I could have stayed longer!
- Brian (4/5): "Major Disappointment" - Condo complex was very nice, unit #15 was in need of major upgrades. Both bathroom showers had excessive mold on the tiles and the floor was peeling up in the master bath. The size of the condo was great and the private deck was outstanding. No place to go swimming unless you wanted to pay an additional twenty dollars. Not worth the money.
- Kiril (4/5): - No WiFI.
- Savitri (8/5): July 4th getaway. - We had a two bedroom villa at Stratton Mountain. We were traveling with our adult daughter and were happy that she had her own room and bathroom. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. We were there for the July 4th Weekend. Their is a cute little village of shops, restaurants etc. We shopped and ate there as well as in the outlet stores in Manchester. The fireworks show was quite nice and easy to attend. I suggest bringing a blanket. The food at the restaurant we ate in was very good.
- ken (8/5): Stratton Mtn. Condo - Great for a weekend getaway. - Comfortable well appointed and well equipped condominium. Excellent choice for a family as it had two bedrooms and two bathrooms and the kitchen was large and a pleasant place to prepare meals.
- Jan (10/5): Perfect for skiers, great for non-skiers - The condo was wonderful. It looked into the woods. It was quiet and roomy. There was a dishwasher, washer and dryer, fireplace with free unlimited wood available, and a steam bath capability. Check-in personnel were friendly and cheerful in spite of the blizzard occurring outside. Checkout was unremarkable. Thanksgiving dinner at Table 43 was less than satisfactory. Our meals were cold. The waiter was very friendly, but inexperienced. About a mile away is the resort's Market Square. The ski lift is located there along with many shops and restaurants. The maid service was minimal, usually done within 5 minutes. Their arrival was between 8:30 - 9:00 am. Since they had to drive to the condo, we didn't feel that we should ask them to come back at a later hour.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Had to change room - The maintance man tried to repair it to no avail so we had to change rooms at 9:30 pm! The main desk people in turn gave each of us 3 35$ off our next visit.
- wanderlust (10/5): Secluded quiet getaway - We had a great stay at Stratton mountain Vantage Point villas. It was hard to find (our GPS entry fault) and tough not to have cell signal in the mountain while lost. But when we got there, it was nice and clean. The person that checked us in was perfunctory and not very approachable but at the same time not rude. The checkout staff was very happy, helpful and appeared proud of where she worked. The condo was clean and everything worked very well but the bed squeaked at my every move.
- Chris R. (10/5): A Terrific Stay at First-Rate Resort - Vantage Point Villas is convenient to everything at Stratton--right next to the Sports Center, which we found to be a plus. Beautiful view of the ski slopes. The villas are clean, tastefully appointed, and well-laid out.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Getaway - It was enjoyable and will stay here again.
- Katja (10/5): close to all summer activities in Stratton - We were 2 moms with 3 kids attending the Cliff Drysdale tennis school. We could even walk from our condo to the Sports Center. In general everything in Stratton is dated but still nicely maintained...so are the Vantage Villas. Awsome price/quality ratio!
