We loved our stay! - It was beautiful, clean, spacious and wonderfully quiet even though it was in a very central location. Quick access to the old town as well as the bus and train stations. • Brenda (10/5): - Our room was very clean and unique. The air conditioning was excellent. Gianluca, our host /owner was very informative and attentive to our needs. He recommended excellent nearby restaurants and he made reservations for our first evening having just arrived. His sisters made us a delicious and sustainable breakfast every morning with fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, a selection of pastries and breads, eggs and a selection of meats and cheeses and cappuccinos . It was an enjoyable, restful stay. I should mention it was a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the old town where the sites, shopping and other eateries are located. Very safe area!!!!

Blisko przystanku autobusowego, skąd odjeżdżają busy do nadmorskich miejscowości – zarówno nad Adriatykiem, jak i Morzem Tyrreńskim (co było dla mnie ważne). Personel był pomocny i przede wszystkim wyrozumiały. Śniadanie serwowane jest na dachu, w pomieszczeniu z dużymi oknami, jednak przy upale około 40 stopni przypomina pobyt w saunie.

Gianluca was so helpful with parking, bar and restaurant suggestions and helping plan our road trip through Puglia! Breakfast by Gianluca’s sister, was basically made to order with whatever you wanted and no limits for cappuccino etc. beautiful fresh foods served to your table in the lovely rooftop terrace overlooking part of the old city. Great location!!!

The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful, especially preparing the room for our child and providing extra service to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are clean and cool with blackout shutters. Would stay again and highly recommend. The parking is on the street and may be hard to come by depending on the time of day, but this is not a reflection of the hotel, but something to know before going.

• Sue (9/5): Beautiful hotel in a converted palazzo within walking distance of the old town of Lecce - The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a palazzo just outside the old city walls in Lecce with a 5 min walk to the centre of Lecce. It is on a main road but there is no noise at night and there is a lot of free parking in the streets surrounding the hotel. Gianluca was an excellent host - he met us at the front door and was very informative. We had an upgrade to our room which was a lovely bonus. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is on the rooftop terrace with a great view over the city. Gianluca's sisters host the breakfast which was excellent - you choose what you want to have and the time you want your breakfast on the day of your arrival and it is ready for you at that time. Without Gianluca waiting for us it would have been quite tricky to find however, he did meet us so there was no problem.

Operated by the Family. Gianluca is a master of getting things done. Thank you fo all your effort and give an extra step ahead of the game. The rooms are great and nicely equipped, everything you need. The rooftop breakfast area was fenomenal; too much food at least for us. Get a home made marmalade gem for y oh r croissant.

I wish it had a luggage holder so I didn’t have to put my suitcase on the floor since it was possible for me to carry my suitcase up to the loft.

La gestione è famigliare molto professionale e decisamente orientata alla soddisfazione del cliente. La colazione servita sulla terrazza all'ultimo piano include una vasta scelta di prodotti freschissimi e ottimi dolci fatti in casa. Dalla terrazza si può godere di una vista privilegiata del centro di Lecce. La struttura si trova a meno di 5 minuti a piedi dal centro e trovandosi in una delle vie principali della città rende facile l'uscita dalla città verso le molte mete nei dintorni. Dall'aeroporto di Brindisi si arriva velocemente, e in zona si parcheggia abbastanza facilmente.

Parking can become tricky as it is very scarce but we managed to find free parking in the offsite streets. The family that owns/runs the B&B are awesome people.

• Catherine (10/5): - This was such a good place to stay in Lecce. It is very close to the centre, not far from the railway station and Gianluca and his sisters are excellent hosts. It is very good value and the breakfasts were the best during our holiday travelling around Puglia, Turin and France. We stayed for two nights and wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely stay again at Palazzo Belsanti if we return to Lecce and recommend it highly.

We arrived late due to delayed flights and he stayed up to make sure we got into our room and had everything we needed. The room was spacious and the loft provided extra room for when our daughter was with us. His sister’s breakfast was amazing and tailored to what we liked. She and her team were so nice and the food was Great! We would highly recommend Pallazo Belsante!

Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées, la décoration est contemporaine, la literie est confortable. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux, variés et agrémentés par les talents de cuisinière de la maîtresse de maison. Le service en chambre est digne d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Gian Luca et ses sœurs, Elena et Sylvia, se sont mis en quatre pour parfaire notre séjour. En conclusion, une adresse de charme avec une équipe de choc.

Gianluca was very helpful with giving tips for best Lecce restaurants. His sisters and the team served us with a very good breakfast on the roof terrace in the morning. • T (10/5): A must when travelling to Lecce, look no further - Property is located very central to essential anything and everything there is to do in Lecce. The terrasse which houses the breakfast was also very neat and enjoyable to stay in the afternoon. Place was extremely clean, and such a comfortable bed. Lastly, GIANLUCA, was AMAZING. Such a great host, extremely knowledgeable and welcoming, an overall great person cannot recommend enough. Nothing negative to say..

• Günter (10/5): - Super zentrale Lage, sehr ruhiges Zimmer, erstklassige Unterbringung des Motorrades. Ein super Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Altstadt. Personal sehr sehr freundlich und lustig. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung.

• John (10/5): - Like - breakfast, convenient access to Old Town, free on road parking adjacent to property, very helpful staff (Gianluca and his sisters always available to help or answer questions), large room.
• CINZIA (10/5): - STANZE ACCOGLIENTI E TRANQUILLE IN UN BEL PALAZZO STORICO VICINISSIMO AL CENTRO. BELLA LA COLAZIONE IN TERRAZZA. HO APPREZZATO LA GRANDE CORTESIA E GENTILEZZA DI GIANLUCA.
• Sharon (1/5): Women: beware, Gianluca is Jykel and Hyde character depending on who is around! - The location is good but doesn’t make up for Gianluca’s behaviour. Nice bedlinen but just one sheet. Nice towels Nice breakfast Women: don’t go to Palazzo Belsanti! Referred to as a misogynist in May 2024, unfortunately nothing has changed with Gianluca in June 2024. His deceitful and aggressive behaviour continues, like a Jeckyll and Hyde character, depending on if other people are around or not. By end of the first full day, I decided to ignore him so as not to give him head space. Reported to booking.com the day before I left. Having spoken to his sister about his behaviour morning I was leaving, as I dropped the keys on the table, relieved to escape. Gianluca asked to speak to me and I clearly said NO and continued to the lift. He followed me and blocked the exit to the lift! Trapped me!!! After a flustered moment, I told him “back off” as loudly as I could muster. He did. I then said “NO” was my answer and a very clear boundary. So I left, literally fighting for myself. Do NOT stay here. He is in stark contrast to the exceptionally kind and gentle Italian men I experienced in my travels from Turin down through Italy to Lecce. As for the rest: .Didn’t get room with balcony as booked .“Upgrade” to deluxe. Ie broken toilet, running continuously when flushed, broken seat, broken shower with door repeatedly hanging off and no cold water one evening. .No answer on either phones nor by message when called re bathroom problems. Also not contactable by book.com when I was on to them after updating them on the final shocking encounter. .Noisey airco/street/hallway . Security issue: large set of keys were left in door perpendicular next to mine from at least 2pm on my arrival back til after 6pm, allowing access to all rooms. .Informed day before I leave, no electricity from 8.30 next morning: no lift, no hot shower and airco and 29C by 8.30. Not even an apology offered though checkout is not til 10. Nearly 3 hours instead of planned less than 1 with no food/air co/shower/lift! Avoid, avoid, avoid Palazzo Belsanti if you are female. I asked via booking.
• Iain (9/5): Excellent establishment and very conveniently located - Spacious bedrooms, very clean, always bottles of water provided daily in the room. Friendly staff. No complaints
• Bjorn Olav (10/5): - Big room, there’s even a seating area upstairs in your own room. Staff is very friendly, they let me do the check in procedure before the official time so I could leave my luggage and then could return later during regular check in hours to access the room. Everything is walking distance from this B&B and that’s also why I chose it. The sights in the old town center, the train station, several restaurants, they are all easy accessible. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. And during my time in Lecce I had forgotten to drink a cafe Leccese and when I asked the ladies at breakfast they said they could make it for me and they did (and it was delicious as well). Thank you to the whole time for a great stay.

• JUAN-RAMON (10/5): Un alojamiento perfecto para visitar Lecce. - El Palazzo Belsanti está muy bien ubicado. Fácil aparcamiento en la calle y acceso a pie al centro de Lecce. El anfitrión, Gian Luca nos proporcionó información sobre lugares para cenar, que nos resultó muy útil. Las habitaciones son cómodas y suficientemente amplias.
• Alessandro (10/5): Very good place - I would stay again here because the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfest was very good also, with warm pasticciotto leccese and brioches.
• CARLA DE TOMASI (10/5): Ótimo hotel e bem localizado. - Como o Palácio Belsanti estava em reformas, ficamos hospedados no Hotel Il Palazzotto, nossa estadia foi ótima. Fomos muito bem recepcionados pelo Lucca, gentil e atencioso. Hotel todo reformado, novo, muito bem decorado, lindo. Quarto espaçoso, limpo e confortável. Excelente café da manhã.
• pascale (10/5): Solid value and good location - The hotel had on-going work done but despite that the owner arranged for us to have breakfast in a nearby restaurant and we did not suffer from work related noise. The location is perfect, just on the edge of the historical centre. Parking is in the street.
• Gabriella (2/5): - Palazzo con lavori in corso esperienza da incubo la tv non funzionava il lavabo intasato la doccia rotta ho fatto colazione nel ristorante all’angolo dove un caffè americano era servito in un calice da vino la parte divertente era la chiave senza numero della stanza (dovevi indovinare) non capisco le stelle bah ..gravissimo!!!! Anche per chi si affida agli standard delle piattaforme e delle stelle.
• Urlana (8/5): Great base for Leece. - Great location on the edge of the old town with free on street parking. Interesting split-level room with spiral staircase. Breakfast was excellent with homemade treats. Large communial roof terrace available to relax. A small sofa downstairs rather than 2 chairs would make the room more comfortable. Air conditioning was a bit noisy to keep on at night.
• Sorina (10/5): - Large room, good breakfast on a top floor terrace, very friendly staff, the historic city centre of Lecce is a cross the street. They are building an elevator, with is going to be helpful
• Hayco (10/5): Great place in Lecce. Gianluca is a fantastic person and host. Parking 100m. Centro Storico 300m - Great host. Super location. Magnific breakfast Nothing…
