Luckily, the hotel did a little setup with flowers on the bed—it looked nice, not too cheesy. Very private vibes. Having some snacks and drinks on the balcony at night was peak "chill." My girlfriend loved it.

They had a crib ready in the room, and when we asked for extra towels, they brought them up fast. My kids loved the pool, and the staff were so sweet, always stopping by to play with them. • lljl (1/5): Good location but the beds were extremely hard and could feel the metal springs pushing through. - Most of the staff were friendly. The location is also quite convenient to venture around the central area of District 1. There are also a number of decent restaurants around. You can feel the springs on the bed and it was very hard. It was not very comfortable at all. There was also dripping behind the wall that was very loud and occurred throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. Lastly, the bag security needs to be addressed. Leaving the luggage with them before check-in and after check-out, the bags were left just on the side and open to everyone walking by.

• tcpindy (10/5): A Nice Surprise on my Visit to Ho Chi Minh City - Sky Gem Sora was a delightful surprise among many stays in Vietnam. I chose to cut my Hoi An visit by a few days in order to visit Saigon. Sky Gem was an unknown to me, but in District 1 where I wanted to be. It turned out to be a wonderful stay. The staff was warm and welcoming when I arrived, and walked me through my stay in a personal check-in. My room was clean and comfortable, the shower was hot and strong, and the tv allowed me to stream Netflix when I had some downtime. I opted for a smaller room and there were not USB charging ports wired in. Otherwise, it was a very good value. The location was fantastic - short walks to most of the tourist sites in District 1, near many good restaurants/pubs, and right across the street from an entrance to Japan Town with some of the best sushi and ramen I've ever had. What a great surprise! I was only there for a few days, but it was a great stay and I would come back if I return to Saigon. It had all the benefits I look for in a good stay, with few downsides. The lack of USB ports was unexpected these days, and the street noise can get loud on weekends. I travel with earplugs, so it wasn't an issue.

• W450 (5/5): ロケーションは抜群だが、騒音が深夜まで続いて耳栓が必要なホテル。 - ロケーションが良い。バスタブ付きで良かった。 窓がちゃんと閉まらず、クレセント錠がかからない。そのためか外の騒音がかなり聞こえ、蚊の侵入も気になった。翌日は上層階のフロアーにある部屋に変えてもらったので、騒音は少し改善された。バスルームには換気扇が付いて無いようで、外出から帰るとエアコンも止まっているので、その時は臭気がかなりする。朝、シャワーもバスタブもお湯が出ないことがあり、復旧するのに時間がかかりかなり不便だった。

• 127tamt (10/5): Great family stay at a lively area - I stayed two weeks at the Sky Gem Sora. Rooms were clean and bed is comfy. My son also stayed with us in the same room and they had a roll away bed which he found comfy too! Washroom was clean with all amenity needed. When we were away for couple days to Nha Trang, I left some large luggage at the hotel and they were very accommodating and we got a nice large room when we came back. Staff was very responsive thru their Zalo App. Cleaning team and doormen was very professional, a tip for them is also a nice gesture. This hotel is just across the street from the Japanese quarter, therefore it can be noisy at night. But our family didn’t mind and was able to sleep through it. Our rooms is also right by the elevator and I didn’t get bother by that. Pictures attached is two different room categories we stayed and both were facing the street. It’s really a good location as I walk to almost all of my attraction such as Ben Thanh market, Apartment Cafe, the Vincom malls close by, Book street and the pedestrian street walk. Breakfast has 80% Vietnamese food and 20% western and they can make you any style egg or omelette. They also have a daily Vietnamese noodle dish every morning. If you have lots of luggage, I suggest you upgrade to larger rooms. There’s always taxi waiting in the front or you can call a grab. My family really enjoyed Sora hospitality and will be back really soon!

• charizze28 (10/5): Solo trip in Saigon - Most unforgetable solo trip ever. The hotel itself is aesthetically great. Location just in front of what they called "japan street" (unsure). With plenty of neighboring local restaurants and coffee shops. Walking distance to famous attractions such as Buu Dien. Feels safe for a solo travelers like me and could just order coffee or drinks anytime at their own restaurant or get food around the area. Would be back again

The quality of food is good. The lady staff at the reception during my checkout. She should learn how to speak to a customer. I think she brings in her disturbances in her personal life to work place. My chcek out was at 12pm and when I went to the reception to request for an extension till 1pm, she denied me with the most rudest possible way and also kind of shouted (raised her voice) at me. Other things which I did not like this time: no iron and iron board. Nothing to keep the luggage on. The chair in the room does not have a back rest and the table is too small (in breadth).

I loved the way they decorated the back wall behind the reception. The bellman noticed I had a lot of luggage and helped carry it up very thoughtful. My room was clean and had all the essentials.
• Georgia (10/5): Exceptional - One of the best parts of my stay was the receptionist named Nhat, who helped me check in about an hour early with no extra charge. When I checked out, they happily kept my luggage for me. Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at, their service deserves a solid 8/10.
• Henry (10/5): Exceptional - I couldn’t find the spa and was told the hotel doesn’t offer this service. Hopefully, they’ll add one in the future. That said, there are several spas nearby I tried the one next to the hotel and it was good. Besides the lack of a spa and pool, everything else was great.
• Nicholas (10/5): Really appreciated their enthusiasm. - The hotel has a touch of Japanese style, especially with the surrounding neighborhood. I’ve been to Japan and love ramen, so I asked the front desk for recommendations they kindly pointed me to some good local spots.
• Nicholas (10/5): I'd consider staying again. - I stayed in a Superior room for a 2-day business trip. There was no window, so it wasn’t very bright during the day, but the aircon was cool, and the wifi was strong perfect for working without needing to sit in a café.

The hotel set up a simple decoration on the bed, and my husband added flowers to the tub it was such a lovely and romantic experience.

But the hotel is clean and cheap. Location is excellent, within walking distance to hundreds of Japanese style bars. Recommended.

• Ronald (10/5): Exceptional - Heads up: there’s no pool or spa. This isn’t a resort-style hotel. But if you want a stylish, clean room in the middle of the city with friendly staff totally worth it.

• Caitlin (10/5): Perfect. - We honestly liked everything about the property. It was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. The Japan theme throughout the hotel was serene and calming. The service was 10/10 - staff were attentive to our needs, responded fast to our booking.com messages, and always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast buffet was well-varied, accomodating for most people. The gym was also a nice addition to facilities! Location was convenient, being a close walk to all the Japanese restaurants, department store and convenience stores!
