Staff was great and the luggage porter Dante was extremely helpful with our luggage when we arrived. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

- Uri (8/5): - All was great, but I was greatly disappointed by the misleading name of the facility. There was no harbor vire from our room and most other ones. Omit the misleadind word "view" from the hotel's name and you will be perfect.

- David (10/5): - We were a large group, in for a double baptism. We had 2 babies in our group. We utilized the common area rooms quite a bit and greatly appreciated them! They were cute and comfy and worked for our group of up to 13 at times. The proximity to St Anne's, next door! And, the proximity to the shops and restaurants was a quick and easy walk, made the location perfect. The breakfast was quite nice. Bike rental was a nice bargain. We loved our stay.

In the morning, we learned that the whole island lost power. It lasted 2-3 hours, so we had a continental breakfast rather than full. Other than that glitch (no fault of the inn), it was a nice stay.

The facility was lovely outside you nice little perks like cookies, muffins, coffee, and tea all day long. Dante was our porter both ways and did a great job. Larry help me before we arrived when I had booked incorrectly on the date and he was very accommodating

- Todd (10/5): Great stay at Harbour View Inn - We enjoyed our stay at Harbour View Inn! We stayed in the cottage house. The building is old, so some of the floors were slanted and floors were squeaky when people walked down the hall, but it was nicely decorated and comfortable. It is not right in downtown which we liked even though we had to walk a little more to go back and forth.

- Marta (8/5): - Lovely, quiet post-Labor Day location across from the harbor and down a bit from my favorite local coffee shop. Sweet room with a private porch overlooking a garden. Welcome reception treats near front desk and excellent breakfast with, on my day, orange-glazed coffee cake and a fresh fruit salad with (gasp) fruit other than melon. Pricey, but everything is on the island.

When I said something at checkout one of the employees seemed to know about it. Kind of disappointing that it was not in working order. Other than that, we had a nice stay.
- Hana (10/5): Beautiful Inn - This is a beautiful inn. The employees are so friendly and willing to provide assistance no matter their position. The rooms for the island were larger than expected and their breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay here again.

- David (10/5): - The Inn is a Beautiful Historic building with gorgeous landscaping and Flower gardens. Our Balcony had a wonderful view of the streets of the Island and out into the Harbor just as the name describes. The Bed was a little on the Extra Firm side, more so than we care for but the Room was otherwise Excellent. The sound of horse hooves on the street at night is magical.
- Wendy (10/5): - Great breakfast, staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful landscaping and short walk to town with all the restaurants and shopping. You can also rent a bike if you don’t want to walk or get a carriage taxi ride. I would recommend this place since we have stayed at many locations on the island.
- Scott (10/5): - Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful rooms and lobby. Unfortunately there’s a neighbor with a dog that started barking early in the morning that was annoying. Probably not much you can do about that.
- Yvonne (10/5): Great Inn to stay on the Island - We enjoyed our 2 night visit at the Inn. It is just off from downtown so very quiet but easy to get to everything. The Inn has several buildings so you may need to do a short walk to go to the lobby for the free breakfast, etc. but it isn't a big deal. The room and Inn were very clean and the garden was beautiful. I would definitely stay again!

Great breakfast served in the morning. Only downside was both our room and the friends we were traveling with had our room alarms go off at 6am in the morning. Must have been housekeeping wanting us to get an early start leaving.

- Alexandra (6/5): - For the price paid, I expected a little more. Our bed was not flat/leveled. We slept with our heads down, and feet up, which made it hard to sleep. No mini fridge, however they did deliver one when we called to ask if available which we appreciated, it is nice to have for your leftover food, and to just have cold water throughout your stay. They have an iron, but I couldn’t find the ironing board until I called desk, they said it’s under the bed, what a strange place to put a board to have to get on your hands and knees to get it. Silly. It was not a bad stay, but with the price you pay, you could have some small room upgrades and also make sure your bed is leveled so your guests aren’t sleeping with their feet up, head down and blood rushing to head all night. Overall clean, no musty smells, breakfast until 9:30, and friendly staff that helps with luggage etc. plan to have your luggage sit in a hallway though if you are dropping off before checking in…. I thought our stuff would be put into a luggage room but it is instead just left in the hallway wide open room of lobby, where realistically anybody could grab your stuff. Nobody checked our ticket bags to make sure they’re ours.

- Richard (10/5): - The hotel is about a 1/3 mile walk from the dock so I did not take advantage of the luggage transfer service. Check-in was easy. The room was on the second floor with a garden view. Pretty with a small porch with two chairs. Room was comfortable. Only downsides were a lack of water pressure for the shower (not horrible, but noticeable) and not a lot of places to set down stuff like keys, cell phones, etc. All-in-all, I'd highly recommend.

- Stephanie (10/5): - Loved this place! The lake was visible from the 3rd floor balcony. The rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. The grounds were beautiful! Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of dietary choices while homemade bread and muffins stole the day! Wish we could have stayed longer.

- Craig (10/5): Great Place to Stay on Mackinac Island - What a great experience at Harbour View Inn. From the moment you claim your bags at the ferry dock, everyone is so friendly and helpful. The Inn is so quaint and beautiful. It is very close to down town and the view of the marina is awesome. Our room was a lot bigger than we imagined, which was a nice surprise. Highly recommend the Harbour View Inn, you will not be disappointed

- Julia (10/5): Very Pleasant Stay - We had a wonderful stay at the Harbour View Inn. It was located enough off the main street that we didn't feel crowded, but close enough that we could easily walk to whatever site we wanted to see. Our luggage was transferred from the ferry to our room, on the third floor, by a very pleasant and helpful young employee. I was quite impressed by his ability to load suitcases onto his bike and ride through the streets to and from the ferry. We had breakfast included both mornings, which was convenient and good.
