Guest Reviews
- Xinping (3/5): - Smells bad in the room
- Ma. Arriane (6/5): Location convenient. Nice staff. But lack of things in the bedroom. - Nice and approachable staff. Convenience. Smelly (cigarette) bed and noisy room. No closet. Lots of blood stains on the laundered bed sheets. Only 1 table, 1 chair, 1 dirty microwave, very slippery bathtub, 1 small fridge. I requested for the replacement of all the sheets and towels because Im not sure of the blood we saw even if they’re cleaned. TV not working.
- Rachel (9/5): - Very easy to work with and friendly. It was fine, just a basic room
- Paul (1/5): -
- Lance (8/5): -
- Robert (5/5): - I stayed 1 night and had an emergency where I was unable to make it back to the property to get all of my clothes and stuff from the room. When I got back to the property I paid for the night I wasn't there plus a late fee and when I got my things back there was a lot of stuff missing.... the manager claims that was all of my stuff but I was definitely missing a whole back pack full of my electronics and stuff. Very unhappy with my stay here. I will never give them my money again.
- PETER (8/5): Helpful staff and nice stay oversall - Location slightly far from SE 82nd Avenue, Portland, Oregon.
- Marie (1/5): -
- Johnson (10/5): -
- Shepherd (8/5): Y - C cockroaches yuck
- Hunter (8/5): - Decent place with good parking at a decent price. Couldn't stay longer.
- Shannan (4/5): - How we weren't able to have visitors come and go like you should be able to have no matter the time of day. Also the hot water didn't even last 10 to 20 minutes for a shower.
- Timothy (8/5): -
- Thomas (5/5): Overall it was a good stay, just would have been nice if there was some chairs in the room - I slept good. The staff was very very nice. No chairs in the room, only a bed to sit on. Spiders running around. Used Band-Aid posted on the headboard. The floor was sticky to my shoes. No coffee on the property. Someone could have taken a little more time it clean.
- Shawna (2/5): Just No - I feared for my safety in the neighborhood/parking lot. The room was a little dirty & definitely needed an upgrade. Only one towel & it was stained. Cigarette burns on the floor, something weird stuck to the curtains, stains on bedding.
- dafni dalal (2/5): Does not feel safe for a female solo traveler. - The room smelled like cigarettes when I walked in, The location did not feel safe at all
- Brett (2/5): - People broke into the room next to ours. People yelling and screaming at each other all night.
- mathis (10/5): If your looking for breakfast don’t waste your time - Comfy bed Breakfast
- NOEL (10/5): -
- Karim (10/5): -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Racist, hotel, owner - DO NOT RECOMMEND! SAVE YOUR MONEY! The night manager seemed convinced I wasn’t worth his time — or my own money, apparently. He was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was beneath him. Not sure if he had a problem with me being a young white guy or if he’s just like that with everyone, but the hostility was real. Either way, I’d recommend spending your money somewhere else…
- Jan (2/5): BYOB (Blanket) - wifi
I would have said the bed was comfortable if it had a blanket. No blanket. Seriously, no blanket. Just a sheet and another sheet pretending to be a bedspread because it had a printed design.
An inch of daylight under the door, so lots of brisk damp fresh air. But no blanket.
I stuffed TP in the door's security peephole which made anything outside look unfocused and tiny (would looking in be magnified?) Didn't take a chance.
There was a really, really loud wall heater/AC unit. Too loud for sleeping so I turned it off knowing I'd wake up cold in the night without a blanket.
Not a single hook to hang even a wet raincoat (or towel or clothing.)
1 chair to either pile stuff on or sit in, your choice.
The mini fridge froze my breakfast protein shake solid overnight so it was undrinkable.
- Jose (5/5): A place to lay your head and stay out of the cold. - Easy access. Budget friendly. Equipment outdated. Microwave was refaced to make it look good. Open the door, and it says otherwise. As soon as I entered the room, a strange odor, unidentifiable, but distinct. Turned on room HVAC and took hours before I could comfortably breathe. Had to open the window and kept the bathroom ventilator running all night just to have clean air.
- Donald (1/5): Bad -
- Susan (7/5): Good - No breakfast. The Bed! Too soft and squeaky!
- Adrian (5/5): Passable -
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, close to airport. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfy, fresh bed.
- Nydegger (10/5): Best bargain hotel in the area - This is the nicest place I've stayed for a 2 star type hotel, the rooms have a bit of an apartment feel, the staff are very helpful and friendly, moreso than other hotels in the area.
- Rhondamarie (10/5): I was happily surprised! - The managers are great. Very kind people who obviously value human life and i felt a strong connection to our Heavenly Father. I was comforted by the male manager as i just ended a horrible relationship and my parents no longer walk this realm. I was under the impression there were no kind people at least in America and found two great ones. His wife's smile makes me feel good. not sure why but it does. I think you will like the place. Its not as it seems on the outside because of the location, but its a gated facility and its clean as hell. Rooms have microwaves and nice size fridges and some with freezers. They take pride in that place and it shows. I wish there was something i could say here. .
- Robert (1/5): Bad -
- Soma (1/5): Proprietor/Counterfeit Currency Passer - Allows pets ($20 charge) Owner required $100 deposit, but refused to give me a receipt for the deposit. Upon checkout he first "forgot" to offer to refund deposit, then tried denying that I paid deposit, then insisted that I paid with a card saying that deposit would be credited back to my card (though he knew I paid cash), then finally, when I was resolute about receiving my refund he handed me a COUNTERFEIT $100 bill. I examined the bill, it was an obvious fake. He insisted that it was genuine, and only when I suggested that I would call police did he agree to pay me with genuine currency. Scoundrel. Thief. Shameful. Obviously, I'll never return to this motel.
- Marty (7/5): Good -
- Chapman (3/5): Poor - Close to bus line Attitude of the staff, very mismanaged. They had an employee that was not normally there for the job they were performing and didn't mark down the correct payment information. I decided to stay a few extra nights, well they made
- Austin (8/5): Very good -
- Manuel (3/5): Poor -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Everybody stay to them self
- Verified traveler (4/5): What do you expect? - It was exactly what I expected for the price.
- Mark (4/5): Ok value with some issues - No coffee in the room or office; fridge in room but with no freezer, and no ice maker on premises, so our food was in jeopardy. Floor was really dirty. Everything else was fine.
- Bernadette (7/5): Good -
- Queen (8/5): Very good -
- Gratrix (9/5): Very comfortable -
- Kevin (6/5): Don’t expect too much - Cheap and near to airport, very friendly staff Bad smell in room 6, facilities look dirty and old
- James (8/5): Enjoyable Stay…….However…. - My only inconvenience was the fact, there were no wash cloths in the room. Probably a slight oversight. But my short stay was otherwise, very enjoyable.
- Jeri (7/5): Good - Decent price. Availability on a holiday weekend. Small, mom and pop place for sure. Not a lot of rooms. Bed was comfy, room was decent size. Had a fridge, microwave, small kitchen with cabinets and sink. Small table, 1 chair. Gentleman was friendly when I checked in. Needs updated terribly. No wash cloth, no hand towels.... had to use shower towel to dry hands. Hole in wall. A bit of a different poster on the back of the door, didn't expect. Shower didn't drain all that well so water went onto the floor. Don't think there was an ice machine, so bring your own. No restaurants near by. Location was a bit out there it felt when driving. Lobby door was locked when I checked in which made sense as it was after 9 pm but to also be locked when I checked out made me uneasy. Check out is at 10 am!
- Gazelle (1/5): Would choose elsewhere in PDX area. - It was beside food trucks but we couldn’t go. It was also cheap. Not clean, smells mildew and unclean, they take a $100 deposit, no coffee maker or ice, I didn’t feel safe when ordering food delivery or going outside.
- Cook (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Doug (7/5): Good - Price Nearby food
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Kristy (8/5): Very good - Love the customer service
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Everybody stay to them self My dog got into something in the room off the floor and got real sick
- Charlene (1/5): I didn’t stay here. - No one was available on the middle of the night to accommodate my needs. No one was available to check me in.
- Dugan (7/5): Good - Nice room big bed ! No shampoo for shower and coffee ?
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good - 20$ cat fee is a lot more than expected. Nice staff.
- Jeremy (10/5): Portland value inn who says cheap can't be clean and classy - Manager was very accommodating friendly ral nice guy.i felt bad because I was incredibly late the first night .I always get lost in Portland 😂. He's also very watchful and I feel my car and belongings were secure here. The heater kinda of worked weird and the TV remote wasn't perfectly paired but otherwise 0 complaints
- Brenda (8/5): Very good -
- Cook (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good -
- Memenshun (3/5): Poor -
- Alex (6/5): Pleasant - It's affordable and it's easy to get to by bus than taking the taxi. Came here for a weekend day screening at the Clinton Street Theater and the owner of the hotel understands where I travelled from. The bunk bed doesn't have any blankets so I had to go to Target to purchase a blanket to keep myself warm. Also, there was no garbage can in the small kitchen area so we have to use my own plastic bags to throw our garbage away with. And the hotel owner doesn't realized that I booked the room thru booking.com.
- Brendan (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (7/5): Good -
- Justin (10/5): Great - Manager was really nice. NA
- Mosique (7/5): Good - The hospitality. Nothing negative to say
- Sarah (4/5): Disappointing - I loved the bunk beds and the size no coffe pot no phone
- Megan (8/5): Great Value Stay! Bed & shower! - This was the most affordable option for staying near PDX airport. This place has all the amenities you need- shower, bed, also had a bunk bed- great room if you have kids, shower, sink, refrigerator, electric outlets, etc. All we needed was a cheap place to have a shower and place to sleep. Place was clean and had everything we needed. We did not know we needed to put down a $100 cash deposit at check in. Although, I understand why the owner would ask for a deposit, since it’s a cheap stay, I’m sure he gets some bad people in there that destroy the room. It did make me feel uncomfortable giving him that much money (almost double the room price) and hoping I would get all my money back. I received the full amount back at check out and everything worked out fine.
- Kathleen (5/5): Passable -
- Georgiy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cook (10/5): Exceptional - The staff!!
- Hannah (1/5): Bad - Intimidation and greedy.
- Ricky (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE. When we arrived there was a $100 CASH deposit that was not listed that I was informed of on the spot. While attempting to shower after sightseeing all day we came back to the room and the shower did not drain to which the water pooled at the bottom and started spilling out. We then had to switch rooms into another room in which the shower BARELY worked and the water pressure was low. After we were moved to the second room while trying to sleep there was screaming and banging in the room next to us with a woman yelling “stop” at the top of her lungs in which I informed the front desk guy. After being moved to another room and being woken up by people fighting and yelling both inside and outside in front of our room we decided to drive home at 2 am and the front desk did not offer any refund when asked about it. Once again do not stay here it is sketchy and the service is poor.
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional -

the rooms are clean and comfortable as a as little.
the place is near Vancouver.

- sunaloha (6/5): Comfortable and affordable - Needed an inexpensive place and this fit the bill. Rooms were large and clean, although a bit dated. Had laundry facilities on site and free wi-fi. Hotel is easy to find, right in I-5 and several restarants very close, in fact a Chinese restaurant right next door.
