- Ferisa Nabila (10/5): We had a wonderful one-night staycation celebrating my birthday and a friend’s birthday. - The service was exceptional! very friendly staff welcomed us with champagne and a surprise cake in our room. Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic, with amazing main courses and delicious cocktails - unfortunately the starter food we ordered was ok. Breakfast was also very tasty. This hotel offers rare, attentive 5-star service in Germany. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable stay! While the room design is slightly old-fashioned, everything else more than made up for it.

- Amadeo (5/5): Neu, aber nichts besonderes - Es ist ein ganz normales Standard Hotel und kein typisches Roomers Hotel, wie man es aus den anderen Städten kennt, der Willkommen Drink fehlt, der Spa Bereich ist leider in Witz. Hier wird alles lustlos im Vergleich zu den anderen Hotels von Roomers. Es ist ein überteuertes Standard Hotel.

- Daniel (8/5): - Die Austattung der Zimmer umfasst neben Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher, sogar ein Bügelbrett und Glätteisen. (Für diesmal habe ich dies allerdings nicht gebraucht.) Der Drehstuhl beim Tischchen ist zu niedrig. Darauf lässt sich nur sehr unagenehm ein Brief schreiben, oder überer längere Zeit mit einenm Laptop arbeiten. Zwei, drei Garderobenhaken fehlen zum Aufhängen von Mäntel. Das Beauftragen, bzw. Aussetzen der Zimmerreinigung, via Tablet, hat nicht richtig funktioniert.

- Jana (10/5): - I had a wonderful experience at the Roomers Berlin Hotel. The rooms and bathroom design are ultra modern and very clean. The spa and sauna were also clean.

- Festa (7/5): Good but not exceptional - The location, cleanliness and the bath products they carried. Staff were overall polite and helpful! Room was small and very dark. There was only one mirror in the bathroom ( and a black pseudo-mirror in the room) which made getting ready quite difficult for two women. The were no amenities in the bathroom ( i.e. small toiletries, shower cap etc) so we had to request those ( kind of annoying and they should have been provided from the start and restocked everyday by the maids). Very limited choices at breakfast( barely any fruit), aside from the a la carte menu, which would take a long time to order and arrive. Staff were slow at breakfast.

Seemed like Reception didn’t understand a word we tried to communicate, rude. Room service send us wrong dish, forget cutlery. Not what you expect from a Marriott hotel. Check out process was a mess.

Room service was awful. Check-in staff quite abrupt. Told me that I would receive Bonvoy points as ‘that wasn’t my card’. She had input the number incorrectly. No apology given. Overall very poor.

- Gisela (7/5): Excellent service with delightful staff, good location to explore - Beautiful , interesting historic Hotel Friendly and very helpful staff, Timings for breakfast Quiet location Excellent choices of food for breakfast Size of room definitely, One surface only, a table with 3 sockets ridiculously placed and not enough room to put devices for 2 people to charge or anything else. The corner of the cupboard above was placed in such a way, one could easily hurt one’s head, the Bathroom was far too small , altogether extremely impractical and frustrating. Shelving impossible to reach. Wrong room choice on our part. There are other, more spacious rooms available, which we will choose next time.

Breakfast is varied and very tasty. The service staff also offered us a hot breakfast, which was included in the menu. We really liked the service staff. At the reception, we were met by very polite and smiling staff. Any questions were answered quickly. They also recommended a good restaurant in German style. Thank you for such service!

Horrible lunch, everything was too salty to eat, so i didn’t eat anything by i have been charged 30€. Was Missing bathroom set (cotton etc) It doesn’t seems like 5 star hotel in general, more like 4+ stars, But good 4 stars hotel. So i think it’s a bit overpriced. I don’t think i will come back here for this price.

- Graham (10/5): Hotel Am Steinplatz, highly recommended……we had a great stay with you and would not consider staying anywhere else when - The location of this very comfortable hotel was excellent. Close to a small grassed square which was pleasant to sit in if the weather permitted. And next to a convenient bus stop for a short journey to a very useful train station, Zoologischer Garden, for great transport links to the rest of the city. S Bahn and U Bahn. The hotel is very well appointed and tastefully decorated. From the moment you first walk in you are greeted by the welcoming, helpful and friendly reception staff led by Maria. They all speak English very well too. Then on to our room on the fourth floor, accessed by two modern lifts. Our room was a delight. An exceptionally comfortable, large bed. Great fresh cotton bed linen, changed every few days by the very efficient housekeeping staff, who serviced our room every day and cleaned and refreshed our bathroom. And of course made our bed and hoovered the plush carpets. Our bathroom had a large lit mirror and small vanity mirror, hair dryer and daily replenished toiletries of great quality. A separate toilet cubicle and separate large walk in shower. The room also had a large screen TV with ample channels. It was conveniently mounted on a floor stand which meant it could be swivelled around to view from the bed or turned in the opposite direction to view from two very comfortable, leather, easy chairs complimented by a leather foot stall. These were either side of a stylish desk with table top lamp and easy access usb ports. The room also has ample wardrobe and cupboard space. Of course there is a room safe too. Outside we had a very nice, large balcony, with chairs and table, and a great view of the pretty tree lined street. On the ground floor is a very stylish restaurant with outside and conservatory dining areas. As for the open kitchen we can’t praise it enough. Breakfast was plentiful and deliciously cooked, catering for all types of world breakfast tastes. Our only small criticism would be that the restaurant was often closed in the evening to hotel guests if it was privately booked for large groups or family celebrations. That was a slight shame, because on the one evening, in a ten day holiday, we were able to book a table we had the most excellent meal and service. The kitchen staff prepared us a delightful meal. We would consider it to be one of the best we had in Berlin on our ten day holiday. If you can book a table, then we thoroughly recommend dining there.
