• Gareth (10/5): - We had a family bungalow which we shared with our two teenage daughters. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the pool is a good size. There is a good choice of cafés and restaurants nearby. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away through a beautiful temple. It's a very quiet place to stay and not somewhere to go for a party atmosphere.

• Paul (10/5): Great peaceful place to stay - Great place to stay and very affordable. Staff were very friendly and the place had everything you needed, great swimming pool and restaurant just outside which the food was "Aroy Mak Mak" night market and 7 -11 in walking distance. Wifi was great also. I would highly recommend this place and i will be coming back.
• ILYA (6/5): - Ruhige Anlage. Heruntergekommen, keine Instandhaltung in den letzten Jahren! Allgemein gibt es kein Konzept für die Müllprobleme. Strand teilweise zugemüllt. Auch wenn Sauberkeits-Bemühungen da sind, es scheitert an der Entsorgung. Der Wind und die Strömung bringen alles wieder zurück!!!

• Jeff (8/5): Nice, Simple Lodging in Quiet Area - The food was amazing and very affordable! We loved playing in the pool all day and eating in the peaceful surrounds (hammocks with fans above them!) The place is simple - it's not luxury acommodation and it's not beachfront. But it was peaceful and comfortable and we were happy. The area is very quiet. Short walk to a quiet beach; only a couple restaraunt choices

Petite structure, une quinzaine de bungalow, entourés d'une végétation luxuriante, chacun possédant une petite terrasse avec salon de jardin avec une intimité totale. L'ensemble du personnel est charmant. Coin piscine impeccable. l'ensemble est très bien entretenu. L'hôtel fait également restaurant et on y mange très bien pour pas cher. A moins de 10 minutes à pied de la plage et de l'embarcadère. nous recommandons vivement !

E' una struttura tipica thai, fatta di bungalow ben distribuiti dove la privacy e' assicurata. La zona non e' mondana ma in 10,15 minuti di taxi si possono raggiungere locali e negozi.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Zum vierten mal bei Harrys - Die Bungalows sind einfach eingerichtet, aber reichen vollkommen aus!!! Die Mitarbeiter sind super nett und die Zimmer werden täglich sauber gemacht! Die Anlage ist sauber und gepflegt und sehr ruhig, der Strand ist in ca. 5 Minuten zu erreichen!

• Peter und Angel (8/5): Ruhiges, erholsames Resort! - Meine Frau und ich waren bereits das dritte Mal in diesem Resort. Die Bungalows befinden sich in einem wunderschönen, sehr gepflegten tropischen Garten. Der dazugehörende Pool ist relativ groß, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das gesamte Personal, (Gastronomie, Rezeption, Zimmermädchen, Gärtner etc. sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten noch nie irgendwelche Schwierigkeiten in den gesamten sieben Wochen unseres Aufenthaltes. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier goldrichtig, da sich das Resort abseits von jeglichem Trubel befindet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und viele Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der schöne Sandstrand ist zu Fuß in einigen Minuten erreichbar. Zum dazugehörenden Restaurant: na ja, Herr Chief, da müssen Sie sich etwas einfallen lassen! Die 14 Sonnenliegen am Pool sind etwas schmuddelig und die aus der frühen Antike stammenden, viel zu kleinen, starren, unbeweglichen, schmutzigen Sonnenschirme haben ihren Dienst getan. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner, ruhiger Urlaubsort. Kann ich allen nur empfehlen! Wir kommen wieder!!!

• Mark (8/5): Nice place - Had a great stay at Harry's, room was clean and comfortable and love the location in OK Village, it's only a ten minute walk to the beach, and enough local shops if you need to stock up on anything. Only down side was that the bathroom shower was blocked so the bathroom flooded every time I took a shower, this was delt with as soon as reported, but the problem returned the next day and as I was leaving the day after I did not report it a second time. That said I will be back on Samui in August and will stay at Harry's again.

• JOHN (8/5): January 2017 Holiday in Samui Buri Beach Mae Nam - Harry`s Bungalows & Restaurant is located in Beautiful Gardens. loads of large butterflies & birds flying round!. Large clean 2 bedrooms in detached bungalow. medium size pool. Pool very clean and cleaned several times each day. Pleasant Restaurant and Bar. Menu reasonable but could include addition choices for breakfast and dinner. Excellent latte at breakfast! About 8 minute pleasant walk on road to beach past several restaurants. Also past an excellent coffee shop with the best breakfasts and coffee in Thailand! I will be returning to Harry`s later in 2017.
• Jochen Stefan (8/5): Gutes Hotel vor der Überfahrt nach Koh Phangan - Ich habe eine Nacht hier gebucht um an dem nächsten Tag weiter nach Koh Phangan zu reisen. Der Pier ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Anlage ist ansonsten sehr gepflegt und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Mehr als 3 Nächte würde ich hier jedoch nicht bleiben da die Unterkunft nicht am Meer liegt und der Ort sehr klein ist.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel razoável com atendimento Péssimo - Realizamos o ckeck-in as 22h e a funcionária q nos atendeu foi extremamente grosseira, não nos esclareceu dúvidas, se mostrou pouco solícita. Como pegaríamos o ferry na manha seguinte bem cedo, precisávamos guardar nossas e no "Luggage Storage" e pedir um táxi na manhã seguinte. Ela se recusou a nos ajudar em ambas as situações. Péssimo!!!
• Marry (4/5): Schlecht - Kakerlaken im Zimmer. Algemein unsaubere anlage. Preis zu teuer. Auf dem ersten Blick dunkle Anlage...Im Pool befindet sich ein Mittel was ich nicht kenne (säuerlich) Kinder hatten noch die nächsten Tage rot unterlaufe Augen und ihnen war schlecht ...(14 und 11 weiss nicht ob das dann für Kleinkinder gesund ist ). Kaffee schmeckte nicht Frühstück überteuert und nicht lecker..Wir waren froh das wir da wieder wegkommen konnten. Bin auf die Bewertung von anderen hereingefallen war enttäuscht. Zum Strand 5-10 min liegt direkt an der Anlegestelle...Wer es mag !!! Alles in allem

• Verified traveler (8/5): Charming and good value - Enjoyed our 3 night stay in a family bungalow. A good value option just behind the larger beachfront resorts with nice grounds and pool area. Very close to beach and several restaurant options nearby. It is somewhat dated but still well kept and maintains some charm. Bungalow was nice, clean, and large enough for a family of four. Extra large refrigerator was a helpful touch. Sitting area out front could use a hammock. Very close to Mae Nam pier for very convenient transport to or from Koh PhaNgan. They offer free pick up from this pier, a convenient touch. The pier is only a 5 minute walk away.
• Jess Thorndahl (6/5): - Harry's var et fint sted for vores familie. Personalet var meget behjælpelige og vi fik gode råd til hvad vi skulle se på øen. Der er mulighed for at leje scooter på den anden side af gaden og en god restaurant. Poolen var dog en del beskidt muligvis på pga kraftig vind, som var der i den uge vi var der.

• Andi (8/5): Tolle Bungalowanlage mit schönem Pool - Haben Familienurlaub dort gemacht und sind begeistert. Der Pool ist klasse, da sich die Kids dort super austoben konnten. Die Bungalowanlage ist ruhig, wenn nicht gerade andere Gäste laut sind. Unser Familienbungalow hatte Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank, Kleiderschrank, Fernseher und ein großes Bad. Wir sind zufrieden gewesen mit unserer Unterkunft und würden wieder dort Urlaub machen.

• Verified traveler (4/5): The bungalows themselves are ok but location not - Advertised as close to a beautiful quiet Maenam beach and that's the reason we went. It isn't! The '5 min walk to beach' is much further and when you get to the beach it is nearly all 'owned' by resorts for guests only. You have to walk quite away to find an area of beach that isn't privately owned and when you get there it's a few broken shacks with two plastic chairs, surrounded by litter and barbed wire. We left our 3 night stay after 1 night and headed back to better beaches and just accepted a loss of money. The bungalows themselves are fine. Just very secluded
• Wendy (8/5): Very good value and easy-going. - Harry's is a peaceful and relaxing oasis from the hustle and bustle. Staff are very natural, unobtrusive but there if you need them, and accommodating. The pool and its setting are wonderful. It's not four-star but you don't expect that for the price. It is great value. Tea and coffee making facilities would be a bonus, but we think Harry's is pretty much perfect. We've stayed before and will again.
• William (6/5): - Nice place to stay if you're on a budget. Rooms were clean and comfortable, facilities a bit dated. The aircon worked well in our room so that was good. A bit small for a family of 4, only one bathroom but we managed. The retaurant was very nice, but in the area are dozens of small restaurants all very good and affordable. Nice beach close by. Staff very polite and helpful.

• Petter (8/5): Genuin oasis - Had a very pleasant stay here, living in an oasis felt very genuine. The rooms were very clean and the outside-space was great. Nice pool, ok breakfast and good location. The only minus is the shower. But for being that cheap, it was a good buy!

• THOMAS (2/5): Très moyen - Nous sommes restés dans cet hotel seulement 2 nuits en raison de la pluie dans le sud de la Thailande. L'hotel est très bien entretenu, la piscine paraissait propre même si nous n'y sommes pas allés. La chambre était propre, la salle de bains aussi avec douche mais literie très inconfortable (matelas et oreiller). Nous avons testé le petit déjeuner de l'hotel mais c'est cher pour le peu qu'il y a à manger (à la carte). La plage est à 10 min à pied mais ce n'est pas une plage mais un embarcadère. Il est donc indispensable d'avoir un scooter pour se déplacer ailleurs. Proximité des restaurants. En revanche, très bon accueil et personnel très aimable et serviable, elle nous a trouvé un taxi pour nous emmener à l'aéroport à 4h30 du matin.
• Juande (8/5): Una muy buena elección en Samui - Nos gustó mucho Harry's, aunque no tuvimos tiempo de probar el restaurante. No tiene acceso a la playa, pero ésta está cerca, y hay tiendas, supermercados y restaurantes interesantes en los alrededores. La piscina está muy bien cuidada. El bungalow es muy razonable y super-limpio, y el personal es muy amable. Puede que no sea el sitio más glamuroso de Samui, pero la relación calidad-precio es insuperable, y nosotros volveríamos a alojarnos en Harry's sin pensarlo.
• Jane (8/5): Value for money - Great service from staff. Very quiet at this time of year(June). The only thing that seemed affected by this was that the pool area seemed neglected. This didn't bother us as the beach is too nice to waste time by a pool. Beach only short walk away. Places to eat nearby as well as places to organise onward journeys though Harry's can sort lots for you too. Harry's Restaurant has some of the best food we've eaten in Thailand. Room is basic but spacious and what you should expect for the price paid.
• Roswitha (6/5): "Ruhige Lage", "ausgezeichnetes Essen" - Wir haben uns in dieser sehr ruhigen Anlage sehr gut erholen können, nur haben wir sie als zu schattig und dunkel empfunden. Das Essen im ansässigen Thai Restaurante ist empfehlenswert. Zum Strand läuft man durch den beschaulichen Ort, das Meer ist dort immer in Bewegung. Wer ruhiges Wasser liebt, sollte sich zum anderen Ende der Bucht begeben.

• skippyed (10/5): Lovely quiet stay only short stroll from the beach - We really enjoyed Harry's its a lovely little resort and very idyllic at an affordable price. The location in the back streets was perfect as it was so quiet but yet only a short stroll to the beach, other restaurants, shops etc. We had the two bed bungalow and it was nice and spacious and having a fridge was great. The pool is large and sparkling and we spent quite a bit of time around it as opposed to the beach as it was windy and the sea wasn't inviting. The staff were friendly and WIFI was excellent.
