One morning, we had to leave very early for a hike, and although it was too early for breakfast, Jim thoughtfully left food out for us. Thank you, Jim and family, for such a wonderful experience in Killarney! Highly recommended :)
• Janine (10/5): - The nicest thing about Gorman’s was Jim. Great host, served up really good breakfasts and tells you everything you need to know the area or even beyond your travel plans. He’s a real gem. Has a great sense of humor too. Otherwise, accommodations are average. Rooms are a bit small. There were two of us. Putting the twin beds together to make a king was a challenge. It was cramped to say the least.

• Marian (8/5): - Jim was friendly and gave us very good advice re our excursions. Breakfast menu had several choices. Beds were comfortable. Lots of parking on the property. Convenient location to Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula, as well as Killarney National Park. No one was there when we arrived during check-in hours, so we had to wait 15 minutes. The room and bathroom were very small and the shower was weak. WiFi had been upgraded and worked well.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - After driving down from galway and spending the morning in killarney we went to the property to check in. We had booked to stay in a room with a double bed. We were shown to our room to discover two single beds pushed together with what looked like the grand canyon between them and told he had no more double beds despite no one else having checked into the property by this stage. He showed us around the room and dining room before asking to see our covid certs. Having not being fully vaccinated by that time he informed us we would not be allowed to stay and had this confirmed by his wife shouting through the bedroom door. Nowhere on the properties website did it state we had to be fully vaccinated to stay nor did we recieve a phone call or email informing us of this fact which would have been a courtesy. Having been the friday of the august bank holiday it left little option of finding alternative accommodation in killarney or indeed kenmare, tralee and dingle. With little option we decided to spend the weekend in limerick having left killarney extremely disappointed. I would wholeheartedly not recommended this property to anyone.

Jim hat sich so um mich gesorgt das ich das Gefühl hatte ich sei in einer Gastfamilie. Er hat mir viele Reisetipps gegeben und fast die Rolle eines guten Concierges übernommen.
• Mr J E (10/5): On the Wild Atlantic Way. - Lovely host and hostess and a very comfortable room. Jim and Moira certainly know the area and the local weather. Take their advice. Really good breakfasts. Super view from our window. Well placed for the Dingle peninsula, the Ring of Kerry and the Beara peninsula. A great base for this part of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Uns hat es in der Region und bei den Gormans sehr gut gefallen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort übernachten. Myra haben wir leider nicht kennen gelernt weil sie zu dieser Zeit im Krankenhaus war. Gute Besserung!

Es liegt 5 km ausserhalb von der Stadt( vorrsicht Google gibt eine falsche Adresse an)ansonsten immer wieder sehr gerne! Gastgeber gibt viele Tipps zur Weiterreise!

The place is very calm and the view on the Killarney mountains is very nice. The room est very clean and everything is there, perfect. The breakfast is really really big and very good! • Verified traveler (8/5): no show on arrival - We were dropped off by taxi.We arrived there before 3pm.There was a note on the door to say they would be be away until 4:30..we were left waiting for 1.5 hours sitting on two chairs outside the house beside a very busy road.We were lucky it was not raining. With this treatment of guests in a fully booked b&B,I could not understand how a person was not available to let guests into the house.I would not recommend this b&B.

• Emma (10/5): A lovely little B&B - A delightful little B&B run by the warm and wonderful Jim and Moira, who cooked us delicious breakfasts each morning, helped us plan our itinerary each day to explore the beautiful sites and countryside, gave excellent recommendations on where to eat and drink (e.g. The Grand pub for great live traditional music and Mac's for delicious desserts) and even gave us a lift into town a couple of times. Thank you both for a wonderful weekend. We love Killarney!
