Номер был просторный, чистый, кровать замечательная. Персонал любезный, говорит по-английски хорошо, старается решить проблемы , при заселении нам не понравился диван в номере , нам быстро поменяли номер , были и другие вопросы, которые решались быстро. Завтрак очень разнообразный и китайская и европейская кухня, так что про обед можно забыть

- Levente1966 (7/5): Ein 5-Sterne-Hotel mit kleinen Wermutstropfen - Das Hotel ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet – von der Lobby über das Restaurant bis hin zu den Zimmern. Die Lage eignet sich gut für eine Stadtbesichtigung, wobei viele Sehenswürdigkeiten am besten mit dem Taxi erreichbar sind. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und bietet eine große Auswahl. Das Service-Team war stets sehr hilfsbereit, allerdings mit nur geringen Englischkenntnissen. Das Upgrade in den 10. Stock mit Zugang zur Business-Lounge war ein echtes Geschenk :) Leider war das WLAN im Zimmer kaum benutzbar, was bei einem 5-Sterne-Hotel sehr enttäuschend ist. Schade war außerdem, dass beim Frühstück nicht immer die beste Ordnung herrschte.

Housekeeping kindly brought us more when asked. However Each time they cleaned the room they took these extras away and we had to ask for them again
- Ralf (7/5): Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem 11-tägigen Aufenthalt zufrieden. - Insbesondere das Zimmer war groß, sehr komfortabel mit offenem Badezimmer und separater Toilette, zudem waren sehr viele Ablageflächen vorhanden. Das Frühstücksangebot war umfangreich, sehr vielfältig und wirklich lecker, es gab auch frische Smoothies. Ein sehr großes Plus ist die sehr zentrale Lage des Hotels. Die nächste Metro-Station ist ganz in der Nähe und viele wichtige Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu erreichen. Hauptkritikpunkt ist die Freundlichkeit und Serviceorientierung der Mitarbeiter mit wenigen Ausnahmen. Das Verhalten der Mitarbeiter war sehr geschäftsmäßig und man fühlte sich als Person und Gast nicht wirklich wahrgenommen. Nur wenige Mitarbeiter sind wirklich gast- und serviceorientiert. Das haben wir in anderen 5 Sterne Hotels in China völlig anders erlebt. Die Zimmerreinigung war nicht durchgängig zu 100 % gründlich. Die Obstauswahl beim Frühstück war dem 5 Sterne-Standard nicht ganz angemessen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war insgesamt noch ok.

- Sonja (10/5): Top Hotel für Peking, wenn man sich ein bisschen Luxus gönnen möchte. Würde jederzeit wieder hier wohnen. Der für uns et - Perfektes Hotel für Peking! Unser Zimmer war groß und wunderschön mit Ausblick und allem Komfort, den man braucht. Das Hotel an sich ist auch superschön, der Pool unten herrlich, um etwas zu schwimmen (man braucht eine Badekappe!), für die Damen gibt es ein Dampfbad, alles hat funktioniert, alles super. Fitnessbereich auch gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist für chinesische Verhältnisse wirklich großartig. Es gibt Brötchen und sogar etwas Käse, geschälte Gurken etc., süße Aufstriche, Müsli (leider alles gesüßt, auch die Haferflocken, der Joghurt etc. aber das ist generell so ein Ding hier in China), Obst (Melone, Ananas), und ganz viel, was frisch zubereitet wird an warmen Sachen. Rührei, Omelette und Co. – also auch wenn man Vegetarier ist und schwanger ist, findet man genug zu essen ;). Die Lage ist auch top. In Peking sind alle Wege weit, aber man ist hier schon sehr zentral. Mit Didi überall hin kein Problem. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit und sie sprechen zum Teil auch Englisch. Wir hatten für wenig mehr Geld das Executive Upgrade oder diesen Residential Club oder wie es heißt. Das war tatsächlich mega nett im 10. Stock mit Nachmittagstee umsonst, mit Obst und Kuchen usw. und Terrasse mit ganz nettem Ausblick. War wirklich alles super, sehr zu empfehlen!

La posizione eccellente, a 10 minuti dalla metro Chongwenmen, vicino all’hotel ci sono negozi, ristoranti, farmacia, tutto. Sono stata benissimo, anche perché l’hotel è silenzioso nonostante la gente. Mi è piaciuto tutto

Das Frühstück bietet alles was das Herz begehrt und das Personal war absolut freundlich. Die Lage vom Hotel zentral und trotzdem die Ruhe selbst! Sehr zu empfehlen und für uns klar, dass wir das nächste Mal wieder hier nächtigen werden!

- Alessandro (9/5): Very good luxury option, exceptional Spa - High-end hotel in the heart of Beijing. The property is not particularly new anymore, but it remains very pleasant and perfectly located for exploring the city. The rooms are adequately sized, well equipped, and include complimentary minibar access. The real highlights of the hotel are definitely the breakfast and the spa. The breakfast is outstanding, with an enormous selection of both Asian and international cuisine, all of excellent quality. The spa is equally impressive: extremely spacious and offering facilities and services fully worthy of a true 5-star hotel. The main downside of this hotel — and something that is honestly difficult to understand — is the bedding quality. The pillows are very soft and lack support, although this can partly be solved by stacking several together since different options are available. What is truly disappointing, however, is the extreme firmness of the mattresses. While hard beds are relatively common in China, the mattresses in this hotel are genuinely uncomfortable. In our opinion, this is a major flaw, especially for international travelers arriving after long flights and hoping to recover properly from jet lag. The staff also felt somewhat distant, although this is probably part of the service style expected in a hotel of this category in China.

- Chris (7/5): Clean and modern, but the customer service for English-speaking guests and the minibar offering bad - Seems to be a good location, around 30mins from the Airport for us but not suited too well for tourists, probably good for those on business and know where they are going each day. Upstairs rooftop not open until 7.30p and stop serving food by 9.30pm. Almost no english onsite, so if you cant speak Chinese translator apps nessasary. Beds are fairly firm, rooms are genrally tidy. Included breakfast good for inclusion. No changing options though same same options everyday for a week. There should be at least one staff member on shift who can speak basic English. The bar fridge was empty, with no milk provided. Overall, the level of customer service was quite disappointing compared to many other places we’ve stayed around the world.

The free flow of alcoholic drinks during happy hour for guests of club rooms is a plus if you enjoy alcoholic drinks. The nearest subway is a 10 minute walk away. But it is still possible to walk (about 15 minutes) to the Qianmen, the "front gate" where all the shopping and restaurants are.
- Ldwilliams (10/5): Amazing stay! - This is our fifth stay at New World Beijing over the past 7 years and it was amazing! We got upgraded to a suite, the club was good and lovely to sit outside on the terrace. Staff were fantastic and we felt right at home. We love the location and did a lot of cycling around Beijing. Room service was good with lots of choice. Breakfast has many good choices too. Everything was great!

This was not a matter of soft vs hard mattress preference. This was clearly a cheap, boxspring mattress - i could feel the coils. It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. For such a premium price and 5 stars, I would expect a good night's rest. I recommend spending 20% more at the Hilton and get a good night's rest.

- David (7/5): Great property, needs - Beautiful property close to many major tourist attractions in Beijing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the spa facilities were very nice too. Good breakfasts! The beds were absolutely too hard. This was shocking in an otherwise 5 star hotel. Other reviewers had also mentioned this. If they at least added good pillows, that might help, but they were bad too. It was also a little farther from the subway than I expected. But Didis are inexpensive in Beijing.
