Guest Reviews
- Jyo (4/5): Great location, terrible maintenance and service - The hotel is at a great location and the cottages are well designed, but the maintenance is terrible. Rooms are dirty and many things did not work. Lights did not work, A/C leaked water, sheets and towels were dirty - to name just a few. Food in the restaurant was not good either, no where close to what you expect at a resort. Service was bad as well and they always seemed short of staff. Just not worth the money.
They have a good opportunity to make it better if they have good maintenance, else it will soon become a run down place. Avoid this place if you can.
- sudipto (2/5): - we booked a beach view room through hotels.com, but what they provided was not a beach view one. They kept on insisting that it is a beach view room, where it gives you view of other cottages only. Later they agreed and shifted us to a proper beach view room on the 2nd night. (so the 1st night was wasted)
They showed a logic like since this is X-mas weekend all rooms are filled up. But that cannot be a logic for not giving you a room which we have already booked and paid for!!
In addition the AC was not working. It was cooling only below the AC and nowhere else in the room. And the fan was making horrible noise. Since we reached hotel late night, they gave us whatever leftover room they had.
- Sailesh (4/5): Not worth the stay - After a long drive we reached this resort. We pulled out all our luggage and then the security guy says that the car can be parked near the reception which need another turn to reach. The room did not have a beach view as promised in your website. Facilities in the room was that of a 2 star and not a 4 star resort. Food ordered came in only after 1hr of ordering (this includes a simple curd rice) The rates for the buffet was high and did not meet any standards. No options to order on new year's eve but to go for the buffet. The worst part was the room service number. The phone number given in the book says 222 and when dialed nobody picks up. When enquired at the reception they say the number is 223. This in the first hotel/resort I have stayed that did not have the room service number right. I expected and requested for some mallu food being at Kerala but got only north Indian stuff. The swimming pool have sharp titles that cut my son's hand and leg when swimming. Expedia charged me 6k / night but for the same price i could have got a cottage instead. No other shops are opened close by to even get something veg to munch on. Overall for the price I paid I don't think this was worth it.
- ariana (8/5): Nice hotel, close to beach - Everything was nice at the hotel good location, nice property, food was fair. Only issue was checking in (I wouldn't book trough Expedia for this hotel because there's some issues with their communication)... Apparently Expedia never sent them a voucher number for our booking and they weren't expecting us, just keep all your confirmation emails in case.
- R.Raghu (2/5): Please confirm your reservation before you start - I had a very bad experience, I booked through hotels.com on arrival the hotel claims that they didn't received the booking details from hotels.com and they can't provide room to me as the hotel is booked. I tried to reach hotels.com customer care which was absolutely very poor service. I don't know whom to blame, atlast the hotel gave me the room. Please double check your booking as I assume the hotels reservation system is not proper.
