- Vacation41783123764 (10/5): Great family stay at Legoland hotel Malaysia - We stayed 2 nights at Legoland Hotel Malaysia with our kids and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The staff were excellent, especially when it came to responding to our enquiries and questions. They were helpful, and always friendly. What stood out the most were the different kids’ activities organized throughout the day in different sessions. Our children loved collecting stamps and redeeming rewards – it kept them engaged and excited the whole time. The staff running these activities were very encouraging and patient with the kids. A special thanks to Lynn – she was helpful, pretty, and so nice to the children. She really made our stay more memorable! One great perk we appreciated as hotel guests is that we could re-enter Legoland with our 1-Day pass. This gave us flexibility to go back to the hotel for rests or meals and return to the park without any hassle. The LEGO-themed environment is fun and immersive, perfect for little ones who love building and playing. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Legoland Malaysia. Highly recommended for families with kids!

- Venture62866993880 (10/5): Recommended for family vacation. This is a winner. - The room we stayed had a pirate theme and the details were on point. The kids really enjoyed the hotel from the moment you arrived until lights off. Room is good enough for kids to be able to play lego on the carpeted floor and double deck bed is perfect for the theme. The lego treasure chest is also a fantastic idea for the kids to have fun insdie the room. The sink for kids is also a great addition plus the lego theme shower room is also fantastic. Hotel swimming pool is just okay, but of course we did not come to the hotel to swim but to visit the theme park. Staff were polite and friendly. Service was very good and common areas are really clean. Elevator wil be one of the most memorable experience, the theme of a disco club on the tune of Everything is awesome". Value wise, the experience and seeing the kids have fun and create beautiful memories was the goal and objective of going to this beautiful place. The value you get is really worthit. Location wise, we came from the city, hence we have to travel 3 hours by car, but this gave us time to rest before reaching the hotel. Overall, i'd say it is heavily recommended to visit this place specially for kids who loves lego.

The hotel is extremely family-friendly, with themed rooms and a lively atmosphere that children will love. The direct access to the park is very convenient, especially when travelling with a toddler, as it allows you to move around easily and return to the room for breaks. The park itself is colourful, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for young children. There are plenty of interactive attractions and rides that are suitable for families, making it a fun and engaging experience throughout the day. Weather can be quite warm, so it’s good to plan your day accordingly, but overall the trip felt comfortable and well-paced. Overall, a great destination for families looking to spend quality time together and create meaningful memories.

Breakfast selections was huge and sufficient choices. Room incredible for kids. Stayed in the pirate theme. Suggestions: Praying set mat in room without asking when needed. A bar with live band entertainment for adults during the evening. Parents sometimes like to chill. Sourdough bread or other kind can be a plus during breakfast. Everything was just perfect, especially for families with kids. The best part is truly the “under one roof” concept — hotel, theme park, and water park all in one place. It made everything so convenient and stress-free. No need to travel far, just focus on enjoying time with the kids. The hotel itself was super fun with themed rooms that the kids absolutely loved. The environment is very lively and kid-friendly, from the decor to the activities provided. The parks were well-organized, with plenty of rides and attractions suitable for all ages. Our kids were non-stop excited from morning till night! Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for families looking for a fun, hassle-free holiday. - Cruiser37489032498 (8/5): disappointment for the hotel breakfast 45 min limit - The location is excellent, and the room features a very pleasant and thoughtfully designed interior, which made the stay enjoyable. However, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. Upgrading the in-room television to a smart TV would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. More importantly, the 45-minute time limit for breakfast is not acceptable. This hotel primarily caters to families with young children, and such a strict time constraint creates unnecessary stress during what should be a relaxed part of the stay. If space is a limitation, it would be more appropriate for Legoland to increase staffing and seating capacity rather than impose a reduced breakfast duration.
- jlie86 (6/5): Mixed Experience at Legoland Hotel Johor - Check-in Experience I am unsure why check-in is strictly enforced at 3:00 PM despite the hotel having low occupancy during my stay and rooms already being available. In fact, I personally went up to the floor and confirmed with housekeeping that the room was ready, yet this was not communicated by the reception team. A more flexible and proactive approach would greatly enhance the guest experience. Additionally, before check-in, a staff member in red attire approached us to complete a survey related to Legoland and even offered to guide us on how to answer it positively. This felt inappropriate, especially since we had not yet experienced the hotel. Feedback should ideally be collected after guests have had a chance to stay. Toiletries The room only provided conditioner and a combined hand and body wash. It would be more convenient to include a proper hair shampoo and body wash as standard amenities. Breakfast Experience The air conditioning in the breakfast area was excessively cold throughout most of the space. A more balanced temperature setting would improve comfort for guests. Security The security staff were very kind and professional. However, I was surprised to see that no chair was provided near the basement entrance. Expecting security personnel to stand for extended periods, especially during quieter hours, does not reflect well on staff welfare. The check-in process was smooth and the staff Ms Dani kindly allowed us an early check-in, which we really appreciated after our drive. Everything was well organised and the team was friendly and helpful. The hotel atmosphere was very fun for families and kids. Overall a great experience and we would happily stay here again.

So basically we missed all… The lady checked us in was alright but there is a lady more senior beside her is not friendly through out the check in process. Maybe I paying for discount rate room, so the service that I received “discount” Toilet bowl was clogged, cockroach is lepaking freely in the room, phone buttons in the room not working so no way can call them immediately unless I have to walk to reception desk, which I lazy to do so.
- amywD6711MT (8/5): A Disappointing Surprise: Empty Treasure Chest in the Room - Cons: The moment we opened the treasure chest in our room with great anticipation, our hearts sank—it was completely empty. I called the front desk immediately, explaining that we had chosen this hotel specifically to celebrate our son's birthday, only to encounter such a letdown. I had expected at least a sincere apology and perhaps a small thoughtful gesture to make up for it—even just a couple more packs of Lego or a few candies would have been enough to brighten a 5-year-old's day. But the staff simply apologized and later sent two small bags of Lego bricks as compensation. I believe the hotel could have handled this much better, especially since one of the most anticipated moments of our stay had already been ruined. Other issues included: one of the faucets in the bathroom only produced scalding hot water (fortunately, the other faucet worked fine with adjustable temperature). We also found pencil marks on the back of a card left by another child, and a large Lego block under the curtains that had clearly been played with before. The dinner buffet featured mainly Malay and Indian cuisines, with limited options suitable for young children—though there was still enough to fill our stomachs. Pros: The hotel offers plenty of activities, and all staff members were exceptionally friendly. The floating Lego bricks in the pool were great fun, and there were ample Lego play areas for kids in the lobby. The disco elevator was an absolute hit with my son, as was the bunk bed design in our room. The rooms are spacious with plenty of beds, offering great value for families with multiple children. While the breakfast didn't include traditional Chinese options, the Western and Malay selections were adequate and overall satisfactory.
- Island_dreaming_86 (10/5): We had the best time! - We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of feb, we booked the pirate premium themed room and it was amazing I think I was more excited than my two kids. Over all the attention to details through out the resort was unreal and nothing like I’ve seen before. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was a fantastic spread daily for most other meals we ventured up to the shopping complex, which had a decent selection and something for all to eat. The rooms were so comfy and the beds were great and just what you need after a long day walking around the theme park. We also went to the aquarium. Overall I’d love to come back with my youngest one day but will 100% recommended this resort to people for us it was worth every cent. We had the best time!

Dinner in Di mattoni was a highlight of our first day. The fish was delightful and the staff attentive friendly and amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms clean; however, there was little entertainment in the hotel with only a 5pm dancing performance. previously there were a range of performances in the evening. The hotel buffet was expensive (approx. 188 ringgit per person) especially as the food was mostly curried which was not suitable for children. The breakfast was also unsuitable for non-locals with a range of curry type food, including lamb curry. Three people can eat better food outside the hotel cheaper than the price of one buffet.Also, during our visit the theme park was closed for maintenance on Wednesday and the Water park on Tuesday. We went to the theme park Tuesday to find on major ride (water splash) under maintenance for approx 3 months and two others under maintenance although these eventually opened in the afternoon.. On Wednesday the water park was closed due to poor water quality. Fortunately, we could go on Thursday but would have missed out had we had a shorter stay. We will not be returning.

- dosg664 (2/5): Racist - Racist On Sunday, February 15, 2026, we took the elevator from the Legoland Hotel to the theme park from the "G" floor down to "LG2." We, from the Malay ethnic group, were in the same elevator as two white foreign families. We exited the elevator through the access door at 10:05 MYT. Two security guards were on duty, one guarding the door and the other checking our bags. Our family's bags were checked, but the two white foreign families simply passed through without inspection.

- dericjtan (8/5): Great family friendly hotel - It's a great place to unwind after a day of enjoyment at Legoland Theme Park, which was just opposite the hotel. Nice touches were that it was very family friendly. The children had their own bunk bed and room, a puzzle activity that allowed them to open the safe after deciphering the code, and a child height friendly sink in the bathroom as well. The hotel was generally clean also. 2 main issues were: 1. There wasn't much of a hangout area in the hotel room apart from a couch and a chair. 2. The building could do with a bit of refurbishment as it does look a bit dated. All in all it was an enjoyable stay for our family of 4.
- Guide02221478009 (10/5): Legoland Feb 2026 - I would like to thank Linda and Fauzan from reception, Indang of Security, Shahin who was organizing the toys at the lobby, Lynn at the Titanic building activity and the staff who was in the Balloon making. Linda and Fauzan set the pace, very professional and helpful at the reception. Lynn also helped my chidren build lego Titanic, her friendliness and helpfullness was superb. The balloon making staff Adam offered to take our family photo as well. I did not get the name of female staff because she was wearing jacket but she called my son to get closer to her as my son was really shy. Shahin was very patient with the children, there was a boy who kicked him but he remained patient and friendly to him. Thank you and will be back for more. The servive was really above and beyond.

- Seaside62296262022 (4/5): Formal Complaint: Unprofessional and Insulting Conduct by Lifeguard During Family Stay - To the Management of Legoland Resort Hotel Johor Bahru, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an incident involving a lifeguard on duty during my family’s stay at Legoland Hotel from 31 January to 1 February 2026. This was our first family visit to the hotel, and while we were generally satisfied with the facilities, cleanliness, and overall ambience, an incident on our final morning significantly marred what should have been a positive experience. On 1 February 2026, at approximately 10:00 a.m., my family and I were using the swimming pool when I overheard a loud exchange between a hotel staff member and the lifeguard on duty. The staff member questioned why the pool had been opened, asking, “Who gave permission for the pool to be opened?” This raised immediate concern, as guests—including families with children—were already in the water, suggesting a lack of coordination and clarity regarding pool operations and safety. More troubling, however, was the lifeguard’s response when asked who was in the pool. He replied, “There is one family and another guy who wears glasses and is fat.” I was the individual being referred to. This remark was made audibly, in a public area, and was overheard by my daughter. The comment was deeply disrespectful, insulting, and entirely unprofessional. It is particularly distressing that a child was exposed to such behaviour from a staff member who is expected to uphold professionalism, respect, and safety at all times. In addition to this incident, I observed other conduct by the same lifeguard that further raised concerns: 1) He failed to enforce pool rules by allowing guests to swim while wearing t-shirts, contrary to standard hygiene and safety practices. 2) He displayed unprofessional behaviour by playing music loudly on his mobile phone and singing while on duty, which is inappropriate and potentially compromises swimmer safety. As a first-time guest staying with my family, I expected a safe, respectful, and professionally managed environment. The lifeguard’s derogatory remark, combined with the lapses in duty and conduct, has left a very negative impression and overshadowed what was meant to be a memorable family holiday. I respectfully urge the management to investigate this matter thoroughly and to take appropriate corrective and disciplinary action. I also strongly recommend that refresher training be provided to pool staff on professionalism, respectful communication, and strict adherence to safety protocols, to ensure that similar incidents do not recur. We chose Legoland Hotel with the expectation of a family-friendly and child-safe environment. It is therefore particularly disappointing that this experience fell short of those expectations. Overall, we had a very happy and enjoyable experience during our stay. Although the swimming pool was under maintenance on January 25, which caused some disappointment for our child, we truly appreciated the thoughtful and well-designed facilities in the room. The treasure hunt game with the safe box password was especially fun and creative — our child loved it very much! In addition, the beds were very large and extremely comfortable. Both the adult bed and the children’s bed provided excellent sleeping quality, which we really appreciated. I would also like to offer a suggestion for improvement. Many international theme parks and hotels have staff members who are able to communicate in multiple languages to better assist guests from different countries, such as Tokyo Disneyland and Universal Studios Japan. At LEGOLAND Malaysia, however, most staff members were only able to communicate in English, and the instruction materials and maps were also available only in English. For international guests, this felt a little inconvenient and somewhat disappointing. Lastly, regarding the MYR 250 pre-authorization charged at check-in, it would be very helpful if this could be explained more clearly, or if translated information could be provided to guests upon arrival. Clear communication would help avoid confusion and improve the overall guest experience. Thank you very much for your hospitality and for creating a wonderful environment for families. Theme park rides are not fully open but old ones such as driving are always open. Rooms have the same setup as any theme, yet always clean, tidy, and perfect for hotel needs,. Theres even a ironing table. The food is very deluxe and a very cheap than other countries in terms with fine dining food, still the food tasted better than most restaurants/buffet outside. The noise is perfect, the joy of children is what makes legoland have its noise and it is in a perfect level where it is not too noisy. The atmosphere is always as imagined, very great. The location is not kinda good but it is the legoland which makes the location more better.

We have been renewing our annual pass for four consecutive years, and LEGOLAND never fails to amaze us. This time, we were pleasantly surprised with a FREE room upgrade to a Premium Room, which made our stay even more special. The hotel experience is always a highlight for our family. Both of my daughters absolutely LOVE the themed rooms—we have tried all the themes over the years: Kingdom, Adventure, Pirate, Friends, and Ninjago. The moment they enter the room, the first thing they do is treasure hunting for the hidden LEGO surprise—it has become a tradition for them! At night, instead of asking for storybooks, they just want to talk about their LEGOLAND adventures and the room themes again and again. That says everything about how memorable the experience is for kids. Thank you, LEGOLAND Malaysia, for always brightening my children’s lives and creating such beautiful family memories. We will definitely keep coming back!

- Jojo126566 (10/5): Fun trip for young family! - This has been an enjoyable trip, especially for my 5 year old. The easiest way to get to Legoland is via Grab; especially if you have young kids or multiple luggage. We were given a 5 star treatment from the reception staff Yan and Linda whom were excellent in their customer service! They were very accomodating and upgraded our rooms to face the theme park for free! The rooms were "Adventure" themed and my kids loved the decor and atmosphere. It was also very clean and there were ample space for them to roam around. It was also surprising quiet and we all had no problems getting enough sleep. Overall we had a great holiday and would once again thank Yan and Linda for everything.

However the hotel could improve its reception, it gets delayed even with a small crowd. The bricks canteen could have also been better with better taste given to the Indian dishes. The rooms were a bit stuffy with no air vents in the corridors. No Offers in Lego stores too for customers. Overall a good experience for a day with kids , but just for a day, not more than a day.
- MurrayLade (8/5): One night visit, hotel needs improvement - Visited for one night this week in January and after first visiting in 2014, the hotel is exactly the same except now looking tired and dated. Lots of maintenance patch ups, bathroom not looking clean at all with patch up silicone everywhere. Overall a fair experience with location of the hotel to the resort and staff were friendly enough and the small packet of Lego included in the room but the hotel really needs a refurb and could easily be much much better, the activities around the hotel for the kids are really basic considering the brand, its quite poor - our city Lego store has more happening. Breakfast at Bricks had some different options but overall it’s not great, the mall next to the hotel has a Starbucks and a few cafes open in the morning that would be a better option.

- soh_kien_peng (8/5): Legoland hotel - I came for a walking tour from Puteri Harbor Ferry Terminal to Eco Botanic Commercial Center on last Sunday. The entrance of Legoland is located right beside Mall of Medini and it attracts me with her vibrant multi-color facade. I did not enter the play land but instead went over to the hotel to explore the interior of the hotel lobby. The hotel facade is equally captivating and painted with striking bright and bold colors. The hotel lobby also has beautiful decoration with castles and pirate shapes as theme. Between the lobby and the restaurant area, there is also a playground for families to assemble and dismantle lego puzzle block. It is so atmospheric and immersive, and I think most children would like this resort place and enjoy their day here. To me, it is like a time tunnel bringing me memories of the childhood days.

The hotel is perfectly designed with separate areas for adults and children, which we loved. The rooms are very comfortable and come with toys inside to keep the little ones entertained. The bathroom area was also spotless and very clean. We arrived early and they provided luggage storage for us. I actually lost a plastic bag with some bread inside, and to my surprise, the staff went above and beyond by giving us a whole pizza as a replacement! Tip: Make sure to book your stay well in advance to get the best deal. Highly recommended for families!

Came during the busiest time of the year, yet check in was an acceptable wait, staff Aqilla helped us with 2 separate booking so we do not need to change room. During breakfast, the staffs were amazing, calm and efficient handling full house, practically a war zone. 45 min limit for breakfast is really brilliant, plus pushed my kids to eat fasssstt. Room was a OK for the 5 of us. We used the toilet on the G floor since there is only 1 bathroom. Beds are comfy, and quiet. Housekeeping started at 9.30am! Good job to all the staffs and keep up the good work!

The staff, especially Zue and Zaiton, were very honest, kind, and helpful in assisting me to search for and recover my items. I truly appreciate their excellent service. I will definitely return again in the future.

The hotel is fun for kids who love lego, they will want to stay in the lobby and play. The pool is clean. Breakfast is a good spread with children and vegetarian friendly options. The rooms (we took the suite) can comfortably sleep 5 people or even 6 (if you have a small child). The shower in the room is excellent! Parking in the hotel is always available and free for guests. This place is a bit pricey, but it is worth the experience, my sons loved it.

The toilet walls has drip stains, I did not even want to hang the towels on the towel hook because of it. the wc was obviously fixed at one point given the re-sealing was done very poorly and it smelled so bad. The treasure hunt gift was only given for first night. 3 nights for the price paid was not worth it. Too expensive, needs a revamp for sure. Breakfast spread was good, wide variety. Lobby area and lifts fun for kids.

- Bopsian (8/5): Birthday treat for grandkids - Had a great time in a pirate themed room- children loved the treasure hunt! Comfy clean room- lots of Lego to see dotted around. Easy access to 3 parts of park- no long waits for rides despite lots of school parties. Children loved the water park which we got to on last day due to closure and rain. The park could do with some tlc in parts as it looks dated and worn now in some areas. And maybe more for smaller children- we had an 8,6 and an 18 month old and the baby had very little to do- more duplo areas needed. Much smaller than I expected but enough about to keep everyone entertained.
- Climber296344 (10/5): Great Family Hotel! - We absolutely love our stay at the Legoland Hotel Malaysia. The staffs were very nice, friendly, and welcoming. The check-in process was smooth and they gave us an early check-in (we came around 12 pm, and the check-in time is 4 pm) so we got to have a bit rest before going out and about. The hotel is packed with kids activities so the kids were occupied throughout the stay. The room was spacious, the theme was spot on, the the treasure hunt in the room was the highlight of my kids' stay. Too bad we didn't get to try the pool because it was raining quite heavily during our stay. The breakfast was amazing, tasteful, diverse, and very kids friendly menu. It was really crowded around 8.30 - 9.30 AM, so if you are not in a hurry, you could take a later or earlier breakfast to avoid the crowd.

Buffet breakfast was great lots of choices, get there early otherwise you will have to line up. We stayed in a pirate room which is level 1, each level has a different theme. There are bricks everywhere even in the pool which was lots of fun. Medini mall is right next door with lots of food options, including KFC, Burger King and Starbucks. Also a fantastic supermarket with everything, including meals made to order. We traveled with a group of 5, 3 kids aged 16, 8 and 8 and they LOVED it.

- Sightsee26636121329 (10/5): Wonderful experience at the park! - I liked the fact that there are eateries just beside the amusement park. Made it much easier for visitors. I’m a Singaporean so it was really convenient for us to enter via Tuas checkpoint. Checking in was a delight, with Puteri giving us a surprise. We arrived in the morning at about 10.30am. I asked if we were able to register first and come back later at 3pm to get our room. Guess what? She gave us our room in advance without any extra payment! We could go to our room immediately and place our stuff, making it safer for us. Puteri was so sincere and cheerful all the way, giving us a wonderful start to our adventure in LegoLand. The room was surprisingly clean with no odours despite the age of the hotel. I didn’t see any mould in the bathroom as well. But I think that the engineers could do a better job. The shower head holder was totally loose so we had to shower while squatting down. The toilet seat was misaligned, toilet roll holder was misaligned and lastly, the sink was draining really slowly. I’m sorry but I’m really particular about these type of easily rectified errors. There wasn’t much crowd at the amusement park so we didn’t have any problems with wasting time at queues. I liked the fact that the game stalls were manned by happy staff who pulled customers to try their luck and skills. Thanks to the management who gave them room to give the customers discounts after we missed the shots. We paid for more games after not winning anything initially but after we paid for the third attempt, we finally managed to win a prize! The rides were just nice for younger kids, not too fast and furious. They were just nice for us parents as well 😂 There is one thing I noticed though. There isn’t enough music along the pathways throughout the park. Music creates the mood, giving the visitors the hype and maintains their happiness. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at LegoLand Malaysia. My kids told me that next time, we would go to the water park. But that’s gonna take another day. Thanks LegoLand!!!
- HarryLSH (6/5): Nice Hotel near to Water Theme Parks and Medini Mall - The hotel was fun for kids with many lego pits, creative toys and playground. They do have events for children in the evening of Friday while we were there on 5th Dec and a Christmas party of games and songs. The food at breakfast was OK and kids friendly with choices of vegan too. However, We were shock to discover the shower mixer heating system in our pirate room 153 was erratic with mostly hot water at about 60 to 70deg even at the cold position. It took more than an hours lost after our feedback to maintenance to service and repair the faulty system in vain. At last the Manager allowed us yo move to a new equivalent room on 5th floor at around 10.30pm and my grand daughter had her bath at such a late hour and she missed her night milk and storytime. Hope this issue was only in this room as many others are families with kids.

The rooms are perfect meeting the needs of excitable children! The breakfast could make use of more variety if one is to be picky, however the food is catered for meeting requirements of children. On site dining and choices are excellent and the hotel staff were accommodating for us to the use the Italian restaurant Di Mattoni as a replacement to the Bricks Family restaurant not being ready for the dinner buffet. A special mention to the staff at Di Mattoni for the special balloon for my son's birthday on short notice.

- huilit2024 (4/5): Slow processing in refund - Booking #: 1025368295 and 1025368306 I am writing this review to highlight the delays in the refund process at Legoland Hotel Malaysia. My reservations under Booking #1025368295 and 1025368306 were cancelled on 12 Nov 2025 and the hotel confirmed that a full refund would be issued to my account. Despite this confirmation, the refund has not been processed yet after further email confirmation on 13 Nov. I have communicated with my bank issuer quite a few times and they have confirmed that refund was not processed at their end. It is very clear that Legoland Hotel Malaysia needs to overhaul its customer service and financial processes. If you can process payments instantly, you should be able to process refunds promptly as well. The inconsistency is frustrating, unprofessional, and reflects very poorly on the management. For a hotel of this scale, timely processing should be standard. I hope the management will review the workflow for cancellations and refunds so that future guests do not encounter the same issue.

One of the desk has ants crawling and even crawled onto our bag. There were black out on 24thNov evening at about 10pm and on & off black out for at least 5 times. There was another time on 25thNov morning. The torch light in the room weren’t working well. It is not bright enough to use during the black out. We felt disappointed for this time. We feedback to the hotel and they do rectify but it is still disappointed.

A big shout out to the super friendly team of Bricks Family Restaurant: Hafizzi, Hafiz, Hidayah, Kasturi, Aziq, Arif, and Athikah all made our lunches and dinners a welcoming relax.
