- Philipp (10/5): Tolle ruhige Unterkunft mit sehr netten Gastgebern und ausgezeichnetem Frühstück! - Eine tolle Unterkunft! Unsere Gastgeberin hat uns, trotz verspäteter Anreise, sehr herzlich persönlich empfangen und uns das kleine aber völlig ausreichende Zimmer im Dachgeschoss gezeigt. Das Badezimmer war angenehm groß und wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Wir hatten außerdem immer einen sehr guten Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Das Frühstück war perfekt! Es gab ein kleines Buffett mit allem was man braucht und dazu durfte man sich ein Gericht von der Karte aussuchen, was von unserer Gastgeberin frisch zubereitet worden ist. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns das Rührei aber auch Porridge oder Pancakes. Sehr lecker! Das Haus liegt auf dem Land, dort hat man seine Ruhe und es ist sehr idyllisch. Klar, man muss etwas weiter fahren aber wir empfanden den Aufenthalt dort sehr schön und bevorzugen so eine Lage deutlich ggü. einer Unterkunft in einer (größeren) Stadt. Hier würden wir sehr gerne wieder übernachten! Sofern wir ein Anliegen hatten, wurde sich sofort darum gekümmert. Es war aber nichts bedeutsames zu beanstanden, alles super!

Leider konnte ich so gut wie nicht schlafen,da es die ganze Nacht ein dröhnendes Geräusch aus einem Schacht gab und Nachts um 2.30Uhr gab es einen Feuer Fehlalarm,der erst 20 min später behoben werden konnte 😏

For those of us who are not accustomed to driving on very narrow roads (L), this was not a pleasant drive at night. It was a bit of a distance from town.

Sophia and Donald have an exquisitely beautiful home that just reeks welcome home the moment you step through the front door. The furnishings and decor are just stunning, and the comfort and size of the rooms and ensuit was more than I ever expected. Sophia was the most amazing host. She is kind, sweet, helpful, and just a beautiful lady to boot. I can not recommend this place highly enough it has topped the scale at being my favourite place so far on my 7th day of 16 in Ireland. Love what you are doing at Bridgeburn House Sophia and Donald it is a true credit to you both, I rate my experience 10/10 hands down. Nothing at all.

The only bedding option was a Duvet (common in most places now). It was warm and there was no other option than the duvet. We slept with no covers at all. Maybe a sheet in the closet for warm nights?

We have been on a three week trip to Ireland to celebrate our roots and our retirement. The Boyles were so very friendly and welcoming and warm. Absolutely nothing. It is absolutely beautiful. The room was meticulously clean and very comfortable. The hosts were so very warm and friendly. Breakfast was absolutely delicious.

The breakfast is fantastic, and the hosts are really nice people. It's conveniently located near Letterkenny and right in the center of Donegal, making it a short distance from many great sights.

- Lisa (7/5): Good - The room was a little small, but we made it work. We saw work vans outside our window and were afraid it would be noisy, but it was very quiet. We did several driving trips with this as a base so it was a good location for that. Out of all of our accomodations during our 18 day trip to Ireland this was the least expensive. The location was not near walking distance to anything. There was a sign for a pub, but it never appeared open. The hostess was friendly. The breakfast food was much more basic compared to the rest of the places we stayed, but again this B&B was half the price so one gets what they paid for. No big complaints here. Would have been nice to have tissues (Kleenex) in the room. Bottle water is also inexpensive that could have been provided. This was also the only place that had no shampoo so we had to go out and buy some. There were heated towel bars which woud be nice except that every morning when we got up to take a shower they were off. We could not understand how they worked, but did not take the time to ask as it was not that important to us.

- Peter (10/5): A perfect gem - There is absolutely nothing to dislike with this accommodation. It was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and warm. Both the bedroom and ensuite were a good size. The breakfast was really good, one of the best on our trip. The host was extremely friendly and helpful.
- Margaret (8/5): Exploring Glenveagh NP and Slieve League - Our hostess was warm, welcoming and helpful. She accommodated our later than expected arrival and found us a lovely local restaurant for an amazing dinner, The Yellow Pepper. If there was anything I'd suggest, it would be bottled water in our room; improve the shower drain(very slow), and play traditional irish music during breakfast. The scones, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit were delicious! I'd suggest improving the coffee.

We had a lovely view across the fields from our bedroom window. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of offerings, including pancakes and homemade baked goods. The home is absolutely beautiful-I especially loved all the different wallpapers and the beautiful garden. Sophia and her husband were so nice and accommodating. Instead of going out for dinner we had leftovers from lunch and they heated them up for us and brought us milk for our tea upon arrival. The breakfast was delicious and overall it was a lovely experience. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others. N/A

Our hosts were very friendly and offered great advice on what to see and do and did a small load of washing for us without hesitation. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Not so much a dislike but an inconvenience is that it is a longish and winding drive into Letterkenny to access restaurants for dinner

- Collette (10/5): It doesn't get better . The three amigos Mike Richard and Mike will return...... - Everything about our stay felt like we were visiting family /friends from the start. The three of us were touring on motorcycles. we were offered a locked garage for the motorcycles drying facilities if required and made to feel very much at ease from the start. The owners couldn't be more accommodating and made sure we were able to visit the local hostillery for evening meal and return with no problems, by taking and picking us up. I'd say that's going above and beyond and saved us having to ride the bikes again that evening. Noel cooks a cracking breakfast don't miss it! Highly recommended Nothing it was an excellent stay

Located about 7 km from Letterkenny in the rural countryside, perfect place to relax for a well earned break in Donegal.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Sophia and Donal are lovely people who make your stay just wonderful. Their home is gorgeous. We had the family room which had a kitchen on the same floor which was perfect for us as vegetarian and vegan it can be tricky to find options. The location is great, only 15 min to national sights and Letterkenny where most shops are, simply perfect.
