- marisol (6/5): - The location is away from the city center but it has beautiful views. The place is more like a big bed and breakfast. It is not luxurious as advertised. There is no one at reception until 4 pm. We realized a lot of the staff members were new. They were nice but during breakfast they did not know how to manage the coffee machine. They seemed to be nervous and struggling but again maybe it was just because they were new. Also the morning of our stay I received a message stating they didn't have a crib for our toddler, which sucked because he slept in bed with us and we didn't get any sleep. Also for breakfast they did not have a high chair. So overall I would say it is not kid friendly. We truly only stayed here because months ago when I booked the stay there was not much else available. If I ever come back to Dingle I would stay somewhere else.
- Lorrinda (10/5): Lovely! Just lovely! - We had the most wonderful time staying here. The lounge area is very welcoming and there was a cat and very large dog that made it feel cozy. The breakfast was lovely and the staff really made you feel like a guest and took very good care of anyone.
- Jeff (10/5): - Wonderful atmosphere. Nice and helpful staff. Resident Irish Wolfhound puppy was huge, well-behaved and loving. Rooms comfortable and hotel sitting areas and bar were very inviting.
- Kevin (6/5): Nice but probably could do better - Nice Dingle location. Room was nice and large. Bed was good. Condition of property is a little tired. Staff was kind and helpful but it didn't have the normal feel of Irish hospitality. Breakfast was subpar compared to other BnBs we stayed in. Also, we had an odd interaction with the falconing business that uses the property. We were sitting out on the deck enjoying the view and sun and eventually the falconing business had a group of kids/mom's show up for a demonstration. After about 5 minutes the guy doing the show tells us it's a private event and we have to leave. We told him we're sitting on the property we paid to stay at but he was insistent so instead of saying anything else in front of the kids we just walked off.

- Gerald (6/5): Needs upgrading - Some of the staff were pleasant enough, we enjoyed the dog and location, and the shower was fantastic. In fairness, though, the property needs a lot of work for the price being charged. Where to begin? We arrive to an entry with potholes and an untidy front yard, a broken hotel sign, an alumimium screen dorr for an entrance, a room window that looks onto a yard with trash, a cold room with a dreadful fan, a bed with sheets that were the wrong size and dreadful pillows, an external hall bathroom with paint chipping on the wall to get up to an pretty average breakfast with coffee on an old drip percolator. We noted that a series of awards for the hotel seemed to disappear around 2014. Anyway, thanks for the stay and maybe all will improve in the coming years.

Breakfast each morning was lovely and cooked to order. It's our second time staying here and we would do so again!

- Mary (8/5): Eventful , but great stay . - Booked a night here for my husbands birthday as location and amenities looked good .We had been travelling from south of France to U.K. via Ireland in our small campervan , so a night of relative luxury was highly anticipated. Unfortunately for us , we arrived in the midst of a storm and there was a power outage shortly after our arrival . As there was no electricity at the hotel for shower /hot drink /heating , we headed into Dingle for the evening, which we enjoyed . The electricity returned briefly when we got back to the hotel so we were able to shower . Unfortunately the power went again and so breakfast was somewhat limited with no hot drinks or cooked option .. This was disappointing, as a cooked breakfast was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel , as it’s a treat for us , especially after living in a small van for 2 weeks !!! Despite this however, the hotel itself , quiet position along the the peninsula overlooking the water , within easy walk of main harbour area , the room amenities , choice at breakfast (when electricity available) , cleanliness and welcoming / staff we were not put off and would love to return in the future . Oh , and the Irish wolfhound as a welcoming committee was delightful !

Location is walking distance from Dingle harbor, shopping, and pubs. Seamus the wolfhound is a big lovable pup. We will definitely return.

We enjoyed delicious cocktails at the beautiful bar. The bartender recommended a couple of places within walking distance to watch the Spain vs England match. His recommendations were spot on. We had an excellent meal watching Spain win. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely beautiful and delicious!

If you have the opportunity, be sure to schedule a falconry experience through Kingdom Falconry, located on the grounds of Milltown House. My teenaged son, who cannot be impressed with anything, said he LOVED it (both Milltown House and Kingdom Falconry)!

Vito even opened the bar for us upon our arrival, which was needed after our long journey from Miami to Dublin to Dingle. What I cannot get over is the hot water. There was NONE. All I wanted was a hot shower and I did not get it. We let the water run over a half hour and it was still as cold as it was when I first turned it on. We were told it was an old house and needed time to warm up. It was like 32 degrees Fahrenheit and I was not going to take a cold shower. I would not visit again when it’s cold until they fix this issue.

- larry (10/5): - A historic property in a peaceful setting on the Dingle Peninsula. The owners are quite friendly and their two Irish Wolfhounds add a nice touch to the overall experience. Breakfast was well cooked and served in a pleasant enclosed patio area. The room was quite comfortable.

- Lesley (6/5): - Property was not what I expected based on such great reviews. Pretty decent hike into town over a bridge that has no sidewalk so walking back at night after dinner was not easy. Room was very average and had black stains on ceiling that looked like a possible old leak. Parking was easy and breakfast the following day was good but comparable to every other place we stayed not outstanding as reviews suggested. Biggest disappointment was the dogs talked about so much in reviews. They are in a confined area (which is very large and nice for them) but there’s a high wall and you can’t even see them over the wall. The dogs were not out during our stay and we were told one of them runs off so they couldn’t come out. I understand this but it’s just nothing like what is advertised. This place wasn’t terrible but it was the the worst place we stayed on our 10 day vacation along the west coast.

- Keith (4/5): - I was very optimistic going into my stay at Milltown house as the website gave me the impression that this was a beautiful and well kept B and B with great breakfast. I was disappointed to find that the place was quite disheveled and seemed to be on its way to rundown. I would say that the website was misleading. However the staff was very kind, our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our bathroom was in bad shape and the water was dripping all night. The breakfast was ok but not great other than the homemade scones. I think overall the stay was overpriced compared to other places that we stayed during our trip. Would not stay again. Again staff was kind.

- rachel (8/5): Exceptional Quiet Room overlooking Dingle Bay - Beautiful character house. Arrived early to park my car and go for a cycle but the room was available and it was no problem to check in early. Huge quality king size bed, powerful shower and great views over Dingle Bay. A little noise from downstairs but at night it was perfectly quiet. I was worried when I read about the Doberhoubds but they were outside and no bother.
- Ray (10/5): - Situated right on the end of Dingle Bay but on the opposite side than the Dingle shops abs restaurants, which I liked. You are away from the city noise late at night and on site parking is easy. I walked to the town in about 12 minutes and it was enjoyable as you walk around the bay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, I would recommend this property if you are traveling to Dingle.

It was my top experience of our two week tour of Ireland

When asked they were happy to recommend a local place for dinner (We had The Fish Box!! So Good!), and wanted to help us with anything we needed; carrying our bags, loading the car, etc. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Lots of options and always a good cup of tea or coffee at the ready. The eager Irish Wolfhounds were so happy to greet and show off their size. What beautiful dogs! Wish we could have stayed longer. 100% will come again.

Staff welcomed us so warmly and they couldn't do enough for us throughout our trip. Room was lovely and beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served by the loveliest lady. We booked the Falconry experience with Eric and it was incredible. Kids loved it too. Lastly, we loved the beautiful woulfhounds. We will definitely be back.

- Tara (10/5): LOVE - The staff was VERY friendly and accomodating. There's falconry behind the B&B so we also had an unexpected option to meet some beautiful hawks, owls and an eagle. The view from the B&B is gorgeous. It's a minute from downtown, which makes it very convenient to bounce back and forth during your stay.

Needed to make sure that they could accommodate a wheelchair (well, didn’t find out NO until myself and my 91 year old father arrived after a three hour drive. Amazing that the owner THEN decided to reach out to me by phone (as I said to staff that I wasn’t going to leave a good review). And, to boot, they wouldn’t give me a refund! Owner was arrogant and would never cop to the fact that NO ONE answers the phone (the staff told me this). Be warned!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice property with free parking & breakfast. The dogs were sweet and stayed in the foyer & front room. Staff was very friendly. At 5pm for $15 euros you can enjoy the falconry experience.
- Justin (10/5): - Extremely good value! Room was unbelievable. Although I don't remember his name the fella who checked us in was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious! To top all that the dogs were a highlight as well.
- John W (10/5): IF THERE IS A ROOM OFFERED---GRAB IT!!! - This place is located just outside the town of Dingle. VERY GOOD IN ALL RESPECTS. IF THERE IS A ROOM OFFERED...GRAB IT!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The Milltown House was an excellent place to stay in Dingle. The hosts went beyond the call of duty to get us acquainted with the house and the town. The house had a bar that was quaint and fun. The room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this house to everyone.
- Kelsey (10/5): - Owner of the hotel was very friendly and recommended a great place to eat for dinner. Property is very charming and inviting. Beds were very comfortable and rooms had all of the amenities we needed.
