• Melanie (6/5): - The staff was okay, so unfortunately, this has nothing to do with them, but I did see a roach on my last day there.
• Tiffany (10/5): - Small apartment like housing.. but very spacious inside.. I love the interior decorations.. very modern.. not a fan of the safety deposit box.. it needs updating.. I love the key pad lock on the outside I thought that was so cool.. there’s no dining options on the property which sucks and and it’s a good 15-20 min walk to main road for some dining options if you don’t have a car.. but very remote and quiet and I felt safe coming and out all hours of the day or night
• Muhammad (10/5): - Had a wonderful stay with my wife at the Palms. It was very cozy, safe, well-maintained and made me feel right at home. The staff was very friendly and provided exceptional service. We did have a minor issue with the AC leaking water. In addition, there could have been more amenities in the room i.e. shampoo. Overall though, really enjoyed our stay there and we would definitely run it back again!

• Beresford (8/5): - Very nice layout, has a balcony. Room was very clean and has all amenities if you want to cook. Negative, staff was ok not as friendly. They want too much for breakfast kit (ground coffee). We would stay there again.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the ventilation in the bathroom, which could use some improvement. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here.

• Culture40745465952 (6/5): Mediocre Over priced - The rooms are lovely but the business needs work, all charges and costs are not presented before booking. There is an additional deposit that has to be paid as well as the laundry facilities that carry a cost. Theres no1 to greet you. The AC in the room didnt work and blew hot air all night and guess what… after 7pm theres no1 to help you. Night security can not help with anything. Theres no help with bags to the rooms. The cleaner even came before i had checked out, like please if check out is 11 im leaving at 11 and not b4 especially when i have to try and gather myself in a very humid room with no AC.
• Lorissa (8/5): - Nice pool, comfortable rooms and beds. Two issues was having a leak from the ceiling coming from ac.. which was resolved. And the other was during our stay I felt like the room was never cleaned as in sweeping and mopping. The beds were made but the floors were dusty and dirty.

We hired a car from RCPS car hire Barbados so helpful even drove us back to the airport !

We used the beach club card to access the pool on the seafront which had a great bar and facilities. You may need to get a cab back at night if you’re eating out … it’s a very dark walk back to the resort.

• David (10/5): Return to Palm Resort - Good location, friendly staff, nice pool, housekeeping good. Penthouse is a great space but some of the furniture and decor are beginning to look rather tired and in need of updating.
• Rubaiyat (10/5): - Very hospitable staff and the property has a welcoming party every Thursday evening where you can meet other guests. Clean and modern facilities with pool accessible throughout the day/evening. Property is around 15 mins walk from Holetown main restaurants/supermarket. Do bring your own toiletries as not provided But towels/hand soap/cutlery etc all provided. With reliable internet and AC. I would recommend this property for any guests.

• Tracy (8/5): - We stayed in the one bedroom apartment on the ground floor and I would say that it had all the basic amenities we needed especially travelling with a baby. However, it is a bit of a walk to the beach and supermarket etc so we ended up having to rent a car. However, we did enjoy our stay as it is in a nice quiet area. Amanda at the front desk was very helpful and assisted us with arranging the car rental.

• James (10/5): We would stay again! - A perfectly lover 3 star hotel. Rooms are basically little apartments. Go for 11 or 12 (first floor, pool views). 15 mins from beach / shops / bars / etc. Pool is good. Simon Cowell lives five minutes away.

• valerie (8/5): - The Palms resort is off the main road of Sunset crest, gently nestled between Sandy lane hotel and lime grove mall. It's a 7 min walk to good coffee, the beach, food and transportation. The check in and out process were more simple than l anticipated. Staff were courteous and friendly without being intrusive. I love room/apt #16 where I stayed. It was clean, comfy and allowed for self catering. The bed was extremely comfortable and the dining/siting area is great for family and or friends. I will stay again at this facilty because it affords the privacy and it is more affordable than many of the hotels in this area. However keep in mind that if you want your bed turn down at night, this is not that hotel. The Palm resort works for people like me who prefer to clean up after themselves.

Only downside is that there are not many food or entertainment options within walking distance. Hire a car or download the pickup app for taxis. Good value for money.

• Danielle (8/5): - The biggest take away from the property was there was really no hot water for the showers either it was scorching or there was no hot water and when there was hot water, it only lasted for about two minutes. Although we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, the biggest issue with this was we spent a lot of time in the ocean so when it came time to washing the salt and the outside elements off of us, it was very inconvenient considering I had a two bad two bath apartment, so none of us really had hot water. Some things they don’t tell you is when you get there you rent your bath towels it’s five dollars a towel but you do get to switch them out as much as possible so that was convenient We did have a kitchen so we were able to buy groceries and cook. The basics were there, so that was very convenient. It is a convection stove so I enjoyed cooking on that. There was a washer and dryer in the unit so that was very convenient although the washer would reset itself multiple times causing for long wash times. There were large TVs in each room all were logged into Amazon prime so that was good for downtime. Housekeeping came around. We had one very good housekeeper. She did a good thorough cleaning But the other housekeeping did do the bare minimum we ended up assisting with the mopping and taking our own trash to ensure that it was done. If you were used to traditional washcloths, the small ones they do not have them so I suggest you bring your own.

• James (10/5): - THIRD TIME I HAVE STAYED STAFF FRIENDLY & HELP & ALL THE STAFF WORKED HARD CLEANING REMOVING LEAVES ETC KEEPING THE BUILDINGS LOOKING GREAT.THE CLEANING STAFF WERE AMAZING CLEANING MY SELF CATERING APT EVERY DAY WHICH HAPPENS RARELY AT EQUIVALENT RESORTS.LOADS OF SWIMS IN THE LOVELY SWIMMING POOL.ABOUT 10/15 MINS WALK TO FAMOUS SANDY LANE BEACH & 25 MINS TO MY FAVOURITE BEACH PAYNES BAY BEACH AS I DIDN"T HAVE HIRE CAR HERE.NO PROBLEMS TRAVELLING WITH LOCALS ON VERY CHEAP BUSES TO OTHER BEACHES.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

• Don (10/5): - The Palms Resort was excellent. The entire complex is very pretty with palm trees nicely placed to provide shade. The rooms were bright, clean and inviting. Each room has either a patio or balcony that you enjoy esecially at night when it's cool and the pool is lit up. Book with the Palms Resort. You wont regret it.

• nelsonOttawa (10/5): Excellent hotel for relaxation - A family feeling to this hotel. Our two bedroom apartment was immaculate and brand new. Very well laid out for two couples or singles. Thoughtful touches throughout in the construction and furnishing. Pool outside the door. Beach club membership included (with deposit). A 15 minute mute walk to the beach. Quiet location. Not a party hotel which we liked.

• 57anitac (10/5): A lovely place to stay - excellent find - The two-bed Apartment had just undergone refurbishment and it was to a very high standard. It was a delight, with everything including a washer/dryer which was not indicated on the booking. Cannot fault this Apartment - staff were friendly and the place was exceptionally clean. It is a quiet location - just a short walk to Holetown with plenty of good restaurants. There is no bar, restaurant or shop on the premises so be prepared to organise your own catering if required. A great tranquil location.
• Anita (8/5): - The two-bed apartment had recently been refurbished to a very high standard overlooking the pool - all facilities including a washer/dryer were exceptional. Unfortunately, no dining or bar facilities available on site however, this probably contributed to quiet and calm of the facility. Great place for a relaxing trip.
• P6232HFjohnd (2/5): Disgraceful way to operate a business. - We were very much looking forward to our stay here, unfortunately my wife's younger sister passed away unexpectedly just 1 day after we booked. The Palms Resort refused to allow us to change the dates of our booking. They said there was no room to budge on this even under these circumstances. I can accept no refund, but to refuse to change the dates shows a complete lack of respect or empathy for the customer. We are regulars in Barbados, and cannot imagine other businesses being so tactless.

• Nadia (6/5): - I did enjoy my stay and liked the apartment but here is where I would suggest that the staff make improvements: - Friendliness & being welcoming. There was only two staff members who actually made me feel welcome at the property and one was a facilities/gardener worker. - I have never stayed at a hotel near the beach or with a pool on the premises in which you have to pay an additional cost to use a pool/beach towel! I thought that was ridiculous and not something customary in the hospitality industry. -I did enjoy was the cleanliness of the property, and design of the room, living room and balcony. Also, liked that they had a pool.
• Jan-Yves (2/5): - About this property the outside appearance is great and on Entry the aesthetics were appealing . However, maintenance and cleaning are not their strong point. On entry to my room, I was met with roaches of which I had to exterminate, the following morning I was met with more roaches , at this point I reached out to the front desk to report the matter. A room change was offered which I accepted. On entering into the new room I was greeted with the ac unit not functioning. Consequently, another room change was offered. I inspected the third offered room I tried the ac unit which worked but presented with a foul mouldy smell as if it had not been serviced for some time . I was most dissatisfied with this as my long anticipated weekend was ruined and my concern of my sinuses forced the made decision to leave the property. My only advice is to implement or change your SOP for facilities management.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great trip - Very good value for money. Recently renovated so clean and modern. Good location, 10 mins walk from beach, shops, bus stop etc but very quiet and peaceful. Handy beach towel rental and beach club access. Staff very friendly and willing to help. My only point for improvement would be for staff to proactively turn on the hot water booster on overcast days as there was not enough solar power to heat the showers and many we had were cold

• James Francis Goland (10/5): - CHOSE PROPERTY MAINLY BECAUSE OF SPLENDID SWIMMING POOL & WONDERFUL PALM TREES.EASY TO SELF CATER ABOUT 15 MIN WALK TO MASSY SUPERMARKET.STAFF GREAT ESPECIALLY CLEANERS WHO CLEANED APARTMENTS EVERY DAY. RECOMMENDED.
• mary (8/5): traveller's calm - very nice relaxed resort. enjoyed daily early morning swim in their nice pool.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Very Tired Hotel - Definitely not modern or Deluxe (as quoted on their website) and incredibly slow wifi Wifi is chargeable and only for two devices. A key for the security safe is also chargeable. Wifi was incredibly slow. When I did speed tests they never even reached 1mb/s. Streaming is almost impossible and two or more people using the service would notice problems all the time. There were no plug in bathroom basin or kitchen sink. Asked for a plug and was given one. TV in room did not work and attempt to fix the problem failed. Generally a very tired room, last refitted at least 20 years ago, possibly longer. The hotel had planned a refurbishment programme but only managed to do one room. That one is not generally given to guests. However, if guests complain about their accommodation it is then used as a sop. I also suspect that it is used for publicity photos and if any travel companies come to visit! Other issues Water to the hotel was off on two occasions for an hour or two each Power failed one night and caused the Wireless Internet to crash for most of the next day. There were no hangers in the wardrobe. Kitchen basin drain was blocked and takes a very long time to empty leaving a greasy residue. There was a broken window pane in one of the glass doors to the balcony.
• Sean (10/5): Great stay! - What a lovely stay we had at Traveller's Palm Hotel. A beautiful well run small property in Holetown. Huge rooms, beautiful spotless pool. Jennifer at the front desk is so nice and helpful. I would definitely return!
• Tracy (2/5): - I booked this property on statements made by various estate agents on their websites .I was looking to buy whilst on the island. It was stated that all the apartments had been completely renovated with pictures showing how modern and clean the apartments were .Unfortunately only one apartment had been renovated ,and this apartment was the show apartment and not for rental . As soon as my quarantine was over , I moved out . The apartments are filthy, dated and truly unloved . The owner needs to spend money here as this place could be a goldmine . I Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone . I was able to get a refund for the unused days

(6/5): Pleasant stay in budget accommodation, but with minor issues - Apartment is spacious and well appointed, its location is about 40 min walk to the beach/bar although 30mins to the Chattel Houses for coffee. The pool is small but sufficient. The bar has irregular opening and generally closed. no food is available unless by arrangement. Laundry can be an issue; limit on towels, sheets not always available. maintenance(light bulbs/air con/fan) needs patience. reception staff are excellent. Good value budget appartment on West coast Barbados

• JamesC (8/5): - I enjoyed this self catering property as part of a package of flights & airport transfers & was pleasantly surprised.Great staff work hard to keep complex clean large room kitchen with outside patio.Great pool ideal for children as steps down shallow area.About 10 mins walk to local buses I used to explore many wonderful West coast & 15 mins to local supermarket for self catering.I bought local fish Mahi Mahi at local fish market tasty & no problem cooking in foil oven.Recommended.
• Tracy (8/5): Good - My stay overall was good, the only issues it was hard getting clean linen on a daily basis. The staff was friendly and helpful.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - The rooms are large and comfortable. The kitchen was poorly equipped with an aged cooker and toaster. Useful but limited. No washing up liquid and they were reluctant to change towels, even mid week. Poor Wi-fi that we had to pay extra for.
• Patricia (8/5): - The property is very quiet and peaceful and the friendly, helpful staff make you feel like you are part of a family. Updating of units has started - this will be such a wonderful place to stay once that is done.
• Betty-Jane (6/5): Not a good location - Overall, the hotel was old. Need to be updated. Looks much better on pics than reality. As well, we had no face cloths, towels and no iron board. In the kitchen, there was no toaster and no coffee machine. We were missing cutler. Lots were missing! And if you are looking to be close to the beach....don't choose this hotel. At least 20 min by foot to get there. Furthermore, all restaurants are at least 15 min walk from this hotel
