The location on the square in Menaggio was perfect with beautiful views of the lake from two balconies in our room. It was close to many restaurants and cafes. The staff were lovely and supplied us with a takeaway breakfast on our last morning as we were leaving very early. A lovely touch! The lift was out of action several days which was inconvenient.

Recently, I was attempting to book the hotel online and was having availability issues for my requested dates. I contacted the hotel directly via email. Although I was not able to secure my first preference for dates, I decided to rearrange my trip in order to experience this hotel. This desire to stay at the property was based on the incredible service that I received from Michela. She took the time to write back with a few additional options, which initially I declined. As we traded emails back and forth, I realized what remarkable service I was receiving and wanted to book here. I returned to their online site and booked a set of new dates that were available. I figured that was the end of it, but no, Michela saw that I had rebooked and sent a lovely email thanking me. I also might add that all of this was occurring while the hotel was closed for the winter. I look forward to staying at this hotel this summer. Thanks!

• Lars (9/5): Tolle Lage, gerne wieder. - Die Lage direkt am See (wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon) war perfekt, ein gutes Frühstück und der nahegelegene Bootsanleger haben den Aufenthalt gut abgerundet.Restaurant und Gelaterias sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Da unser Zimmer zum See raus ging war es trotzdem ruhig. Außerdem war Menaggio nicht so überlaufen, wie andere Hotspots am See, aber perfekt zum Erkunden des Sees mit dem Boot, da es genau in der Mitte liegt.
