Corrigans Shore House is in a fantastic location, Catherine lives right beside the lake in really lovely home. Our bedroom was immaculate, (over looking the lake), it was roomy, as was the spotless en suite, also a little fridge in a large closet. We stayed with Catherine for 2 nights, her property is the perfect location to explore around Enniskillen as it’s only a few miles from town.
On arrival, Catherine greeted us, a lovely warm and welcoming lady, and very kindly made us tea and some delicious home baked goodies. Breakfasts were delicious and loads on offer. We had delicious fresh fruit salad along with freshly cooked breakfast. I cannot recommend Catherine and her son highly enough. I will definitely be back. (Thank you for your hospitality Catherine). - Iris (10/5): Very enjoyable. Hope to return - Wonderful location. Excellent food & accommodation.
Top marks to Catherine our hostess fo looking after us so well
and providing every comfort in room and bathroom.
Look forward to returning in the future.
- Les (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (9/5): Superb - . .
- Martin (10/5): - Kathryn runs Corrigans Shore House the way B&Bs used to be and should still be run. She is friendly, welcoming and very helpful.
Our room was quiet and comfortable - and the bed was the best we have every slept in. Breakfast was a joy, including Kathryn's fabulous home made rhubarb and ginger jam.
The house is next to the River Erne a little way from Enniskillen at the end of a long country lane, so if you want to eat before bedtime do so before you arrive as there is no option of food in the evenings.
(Kathryn has more than enough to do - including providing us with some welcome home baking and a proper brew on arrival!)
We would recommend this place to anyone (although it's not accessible if you can't manage steps).
