• Yvonne (7/5): Süße kleine familiengeführte Bungalowanlage mit Luft nach oben. - Die Lage direkt am wunderbaren Strand. Ich hatte den ersten Bungalow ganz vorne am Strand, das ist natürlich an sich schon der Knaller. Ein relativ großer Kühlschrank war vorhanden. Das Restaurant bietet super Thailändische Küche zum vernünftigen Preis, leider aber nur bis 19 Uhr. Der Garten der Anlage ist toll gepflegt. Für diesen kleinen Preis darf man natürlich auch nichts erwarten, als Dusche und Bett... Mehr ist es aber eben auch nicht. Wer Ruhe zum schlafen braucht, benötigt auf jeden Fall Ohrstöpsel, da Fenster und Türen einfach überhaupt keine Dichtigkeit und Schallisolierung haben, einerseits wegen des Meeresrauschens andererseits wegen der Nachbarschaft, die lautstark nach Hause kommen. Mindestens die Fliegengitter im Bad sollten mal repariert werden. Mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten für Klamotten wären auch schön. Es gibt nur ein klappriges Kleiderständerregaldingens. Schade auch, dass es keine Liegen am Strand gibt.

• Wilhelm (8/5): Einfach, entspannt und gerne wieder. - Sehr entspannter Bungalow am Meer. Parkplatz vorhanden. Gutes Restaurant mit super Blick auf das Meer. Großer, aber alter Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Klimaanlage schön leise und gut einstellbar. Das Bad ist sehr einfach und alt. Dusche und Klo sind sehr alt und sollten renoviert werden.

Die Ausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen, hat uns aber wenig gestört. Die Familie ist sehr nett, das essen im Restaurant ist sehr lecker, man fühlt sich direkt wohl!

La nourriture proposée était très bonne et raisonnable , le resto très sympa et accueillant Le matelas. La douche inonde toute la salle de bains.

• Joanna (10/5): Wspaniały pobyt Last Minute - Był to nasz spontaniczny wybór, spowodowany anulowaniem innej rezerwacji w ostatniej chwili. Zostaliśmy ugoszczeni bardzo serdecznie. Domek jaki dostaliśmy był bardzo skromny ale też bardzo czysty. W otoczeniu pięknego i zadbanego ogrodu oraz kojącej ciszy i szumu morza, nasze wrażenia były bardzo dobre. Obsługa była rodzina, od której biło ciepło, spokój i gościnność. Jedzenie wspaniałe! Domowe, robione na świeżo, rodziną również je spożywała z nami. Zauważylismy, że goście z okolicznych hoteli (o dużo lepszym standardzie) przychodzili do nas na posiłki. Wspaniałe masaże na plaży. Świeża i delikatna pościel oraz bardzo wygodny materac👌 Myślę że tylko masz domek B4 był jeszcze przed renowacja, reszta wyglądała bardzo dobrze i czysto

The staff was very helpful and friendly Our beds were very hard, we weren’t use to hard beds from back home so that was difficult to sleep. Die Mitarbeiter sind immer äußerst freundlich und wir haben uns durchweg wohlgefühlt. Auch das Restaurant hat uns gut gefallen. Lediglich das Badezimmer des Bungalows benötigt eine Renovierung.

It is so peaceful here, beautiful surroundings, right on the beach with the best Pad Thai we've ever tasted in Thailand. Come here, sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty of the garden surroundings and the bird song.

• Kerri (4/5): - I loved the location. The beach was beautiful and you could hesr the waves all night. You could also hear any neighbours as the windows didnt really shut. But they needed to stay open to circulate air and the cabins were very moist and pretty sure had mold. :( very musky. I was afraid of the air quality in the cabin. It was very outdated. I had to ask for a top sheet as they only provided what seemed To be a large towel that was to be a duvet. I really enjoyed the porch in sitting outside and listening to the waves. I'm not sure if there was a kitchen. As they didn't say and no lights were on. The walkways were dark and hard to see. The garden was really well maintained and beautiful. This is a place to be outside, not for the inside.

Das Wasser ist herrlich zum Schwimmen. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und liegt in einem schönen Garten. Besonders schön ist das Restaurant direkt am Strand. Die Anlage ist gut geeignet für Paare, Familien und Ruhesuchende. Die Besitzerin Naa ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Des Essen im Restaurant lecker.

• Vanessa (10/5): Einfach aber ausreichend - Das war mein zweites Mal im palm point village, das erste mal hatte ich ein Familienbungalow und nun hatte ich das Bungalow mit Sea view gemietet. Die Unterkunft ist sehr einfach, was uns natürlich gereicht hat weil der Service und der Standort direkt am Strand so gut sind. Ich kann nur jedem ans Herz legen, einen Bungalow mit air Condition zu mieten weil die hitze mit einem Ventilator fast nicht zu bekämpfen ist. Ich komme dennoch gerne wieder.

Des palmiers en 1er plan avec tres belle vue sur les iles de Koh Phangan et Koh Tao. Un tres gros défaut est le WIFI déplorable pas de relais répétiteurs pour les 25 bungalows. Beaucoup de bungalows alentours meme moins chers sans clim ont au moins un mini frigo pour compenser.La jeune patronne est accueillante et ses jeunes employées tres dévouées.Le restaurant posséde une magnifique vue de carte postale et sert de bons plats et des crepes à la banane''à tomber''.Alentours petits resto pas chers de 80 baths à 120 baths à deux soit 2 euros à 3 euros.Une tres belle excursion d'une journée à faire petit dejeuner déjeuner boissons incluses dans mini baie d'Halong du site classé UNESCO de ANG THONG choisir journée sans vagues pour kayak inclus et snorkelling cout 2000 baths soit 52 euros/pers
• Jaci (6/5): Leider kaum Erholung - Der Preis und die Strandlage sind unschlagbar. Dafür kann man vom Zustand des Zimmers nicht so viel erwarten. Und von Sauberkeit haben Thais wohl allgemein eine andere Vorstellung. Wenn man durch Teller klappern bis spät in die Nacht wach gehalten werden möchte, um dann um 6:30 vom Hof fegen mit dem Reisigbesen wieder geweckt zu werden, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Familie ist sehr nett. Nur das Zimmerpersonal schaut nach unten und grüßt nicht mal. Toilettenpapier gibt es am Anreisetag, danach nur noch auf Nachfrage.

Tous les soirs Marché couvert à 800m et le jeudi marché de nuit à 800m Tres belle excursion conseillée en speed boat à la reserve marine classée UNESCO de Ang Thong sorte mini baie d'Halong où inclus kayak dans les grottes marines repas sur ile Robinson et plongée tuba au milieu poissons pour 2000 baths pers.Eviter viieux et gros bateau lents avec peu de temps chaque endroit et repas cantine à bord
• Verified traveler (6/5): Geen drie sterren waard. - Geweldige ligging aan strand. Minder is dat er geen strandstoelen en strandlakens aanwezig waren. Huisjes worden om de twee dagen schoongemaakt en ook moet je dus twee dagen met een handdoek doen. Geen drinkwater, geen zeepje en ook geen safe (stond wel in beschrijving). Heel slecht WIFI. Restaurant is in de avond vroeg dicht, ook alle lichten gaan dan uit, op hele gedeelte maar een lampje, waardoor het erg donker is. Personeel niet echt vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
• MICHEL (8/5): TRES BON DEALdégradé de turqupoise et bleus avec e - Nous venons a cet hotel depuis 6 ans tres bien situé sur tres belle plage de Maenam Beach entouré de 2 hotels Luxe 4 et 5 etoiles et de tres nombreux petits restos Celui de l'hotel surplombe la baie avec un premier plan de beaux palmiers avec certains jours une vue à couper le souffle sur mer turquoise et degradé de bleus avec en toile de fond les iles de Koh Phangan et de Koh Tao.Les repas sont assez élevés mais cela vaut le coup d'y dejeuner les jours ou la mer est turquoise Autour les petits restos proposent des plats entre 40et 45 50 maxi 60 baths avec certains eau minerale et glaçons compris Les bungalows sont tres propres et ménage draps serviettes changés tous les 2 jours La literie qui était déplorable il y a 6 ans a été changée à 80% mais est tres ferme et les oreillers rembourrés à l'ancienne 60x40 au lieu aujourd'hui de fibre hollofil moelleuse et il faut absolument effectuer les jours ou la mer et calme et annonce beau soleil l'excursion à la mini baie d'Halong de ANG THONG classé au patrimoine mondial UNESCO située à 2h de speed boat où prévu kayak a travers grottes marines et plongée tuba au milieu poissons nombreux si on emmene du pain rassis repas sur jolie petite ile cocotiers et au retour à terre promenade dos d'éléphant et boissons volonté toute la journée et meme patit déjeuner buffet embarcadere matin tot ne pas prendre vieux bateaux rouillés moins cher et lents qui vous laissent tres peu de temps partout avec déjeuner usine à intérieuyr du bateau

But all night long, there were two dogs within 20 yards of our bungalow (towards the back of the property), and 3 or 4 more within a few miles that would respond to their howls all night long, no sleep at all here if not right up front on the beach in the expensive huts. No Beach Towels provided.

Siivous ei hyvää ja peittona oli vain pyyhekankaasta tehty rätti! Palvelu hyvää ja ruoka ihan maittavaa, menu tosin hieman kallis ja suppea.

The area does not have much to offer in terms of dining options so better get a scooter. There is a gym nearby which is ok. I had a bungalow with fan which is ok and actually most of the time you don't even need a fan. Wifi is so-so. Note that there is no hot water and room service is only ever other night. Check out time is 11 am and not noon as indicated on hotels.com but they did allow me to check out at noon. Also note that there is no safe box in the room as indicated on hotels.com. Need to mention these things because I'm finding too many errors on the descriptions.

• Jean-Frédéric (8/5): Bonne surprise - Pour le prix, c'est un excellent guesthouse sur la plage, idéalement placé, personnel accueillant et très serviable (c'est normal, c'est la Thaïlande). C'est pas luxueux, mais largement suffisant. On a fait juste une nuit étape avant de se rendre sur Ko Tao, et franchement si on avait eu plus de temps, on serait restés une ou deux nuit de plus pour profiter des lieux.

Der Strand mit Palmen ist der Hammer. Es hat Restaurants in der Nähe, wobei das Hoteleigene ebenfalls super lecker ist. Man könnte also immer in der Anlage bleiben. Wir kommen wieder.
• Jessica (10/5): Peaceful paradise by the sea - My husband and I only stayed at this hotel for 1 night, regrettably. It is situated on a very quiet and beautiful beach. The owner explained that because of the quiet evenings, it was more popular with older people and those with families, but it was perfect for me (early thirties as well). Unfortunately, my husband wanted to go to a more action filled area so we moved on (did I mention regrettably?) to Chaweng. As the music was still blaring at 3am, we really regretted leaving Pal Point Village! The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was excellent. I only gave the neighborhood 3 points, as it is nearly a 2km walk to the main road where one can catch a cheap taxi(tuk-tuk style). Otherwise, taxis from the hotel are 500 THB. If you want a quiet and peaceful paradise by the sea, this hotel is a great choice!
• Janick (8/5): Quiet, good food, nice beach! - Very nice beach!! The PalmPoint Village is a Thai Family Business. They are very friendly and helpful. The food is very nice (Thai). The bungalows are just basic, but this is what you get for that price. We felt very well here and can recommend it to couples which love to stay at a quiete place with a nice beach, although the bungalow is basic.
• Kyle (10/5): Excellent experience - Staff is very friendly, our room was spotless and the location is great, right on the beach. The shower in the washroom takes a while to drain so the floor stays wet for a while but other than that it is a great spot for that price.
• Grant (4/5): you get what you pay for. - The hotel staff were very friendly and for what we paid(500THB a night) a basic room is to be expected, cold shower as well. It's right on the beach but that's about all that's close. We found the selection of restaurants and bars nearby to be quite poor. A short taxi journey elsewhere would be advised.
• gd (6/5): ok place for the moneyl - If you are looking for cheap place by the beach. This is the place. Good internet and clean. Staff don't speak english. Still decent!
• Verified traveler (8/5): Clean, cheap, basic, great location! - Basic beach hut with fan, comfy double bed, bathroom and balcony. A few meters off the beach, just a perfect location. Food was good and usual price, staff don't speak much English but we are in Thailand! Quiet lovely little place to chill out and but mangos and coconuts off the man on the beach. Wifi was was good to and could Skype friends and family.
