Guest Reviews
- Daniele (4/5): -
- Adrian (4/5): - Mediocre
- Giuseppe (10/5): - Free coffee in the morning
- Aaron (4/5): - Good location for sure, price was what we were looking for. Bathroom was nicely modernized though small. Morning clerk was nice enough. The size and layout of the room, there was no storage to speak of and only bedside and outlets on one side. There's no a/c, sleeping with the window open increased the noise and got us sick. Check in clerk was unfriendly. We were on the top floor and did not realize it was a walkup.
- Peter (4/5): -
- Andy (7/5): - Location and price were good The sink needed to be fixed
- Royny (9/5): - Toplocatie, fijn bed, fijne douche, hele aardige behulpzame medewerkers. Hele goede prijs.

- Merchan (9/5): Great location, amazing host! - Location is amazing! The host was amazing, she explained everything very well! I think it’s a bit loud from the street, I wish the windows could be sound proof!
- Van Odijk (7/5): - Het bed, gastvrijheid, koffie in de ochtend beneden, uitstekende douche Parkeren paar blokken verder betaald
Kamer iets te klein
- Katrina (10/5): I travel every 4-6 weeks for work to San Francisco from Europe and it has been a while since I’ve found a hotel where I - Location and renovated bathrooms. The rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing I can think of.
- adama (5/5): -
- Ronald (7/5): Overall comfort - Quiet location and tenants in building are quiet and civil.

- Bettio (8/5): - Very good for the price, EXCELLENT location. Quiet, well kept very nice.
- Francisco (10/5): -
- Marc (7/5): - Nice area, well connected with public transport. Friendly and helpful staff! Rooms are way too small and though the area is great and offers plenty, the traffic and street noise at night did ruin most nights. Earplugs necessary.
- Tommaso (10/5): Awesome - Location
- Rachel Qing (10/5): Great value and quality, clean rooms. - Incredible quality for the price and location, in San Francisco too! I loved walking around the neighborhood in the morning, it is close to Alamo Park and cute cafes nearby. The room was clean and had what I needed. The lady at the front desk was helpful and kind, gave me suggestions and directions for nearby.

- Alia (8/5): -
- Rhodri (7/5): - The room and property are very simple but it's absolutely everything you need for a budget very comfortable stay. The staff are absolutely lovely and the location is fantastic. The windows didn't stay open without bein propped open but a small complaint.
- Eva (6/5): Was adequate for our purposes. Just needed one night closish to USF. - Location. Reasonable rates. Uncomfortable bed. Everything is dated.
- Guy (8/5): -
- Kai (10/5): -
- Priya (7/5): -
- Joanna (6/5): Good budget hotel but would not recommend for long stays. - Nice welcome and coffee provided in the morning. Our room was tiny and looked inwards into other rooms.
- Emily (7/5): Great location, great price. - Great location, nice staff, everything you need if all you need is a place to sleep and shower! The price is amazing compared to other hotels in the area and it’s so conveniently located. The room felt a bit dingy and musty, but I’d consider it a more upscale hostel. It had everything I needed at the end of the day!
- Maguire (5/5): -
- Alison (10/5): Lovely. So sweet, so helpful. Clean, and cozy. All the things needed. - I liked it all…everything I needed. I loved that I could open a window.. and the espresso.
- Bulut (4/5): Unhappy lobby staff, rooms are way too small - Cleanliness Staff
- Morgan (8/5): - This place was fine if you need an affordable place to stay. Bring your own soap! They don't have any hand or bar soap in the bathroom.
- Gaiso (8/5): Worth the money, extremely nice staff, would have preferred more clarity about the lack of elevator facility. Overall a - The location is good and away from any hustle and bustle, the staff are extremely friendly and nice. The fact that the room is extremely strong, located on the third floor with no elevator, so it was a bit tiring to carry on my suitcases up and down, but it was a good legs work out at the end. I mean I would preferred if there was a note on Booking stating that room might be on higher floors and hotel has bo elevator, cuz I have just had an operation in my knee, and I had to carefully watch my steps especially when I am carrying my suitcases.
- Keith (10/5): Perfect experience at Casaloma. I’ve been there probably five times and a visit to the San Francisco area and would plan - The staff was so personal and accommodating couldn’t be any better
- Paul (8/5): -

- Evelyn (7/5): The location and coffee machine were great! The shower wasn’t that clean and the sheets were a bit stained, but the room - The coffee machine in the lobby was great! I also liked the location a lot! The shower wasn’t that clean and the sheets were stained and had hairs :(. It also didn’t feel like there was a lot of privacy and you could hear neighbors tv.

- Margaret (6/5): Comfortable enough for a budget hotel. Got a good night's sleep & easily ubered where I needed to g - Good access to restaurants on Haight St. & Divisadero St. Good strolling neighborhood to admire Victorian architecture. Enjoyed playing pickleball at Dinks SF across the street. Ratty carpeting on stairs could use replacing.
- Alma (3/5): - Friendly staff No AC. Very little outlets. Bed sheets had hairs on them.
- Adriana (10/5): Great Casa Loma - Great location on Fillmore No elevator

- Paul (8/5): Room was comfortable, friendly staff, good location. - Great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was quite small but not unexpected for being a city hotel.
- Louis-Maxence (8/5): A good place to stay for this price. - The staff were friendly and the room was good for this price. A little bit of noise from the street and the shower was not clean.
- Ky Quan Kevin (10/5): -
- Ky Quan Kevin (10/5): Perfect - Very good stay
- Caroline (4/5): I was dissatisfied - The loaction was good, visible and accesible. Having to carry my luggae all the way up to 3rd floor alone. I wish there was a ramp or at least a lift. The window couldnt open and no one bothered to help open it as the room was small cramped with no fresh in or out. I was very displeased when they disposed a non disposable beautiful shower cap- please keep anything left behing for at least 7 days if the owner doesnt contact or come back for oit, then dispose it. The hotel is clearly meant for americans- please consider other guests by providing hot water and some affordable instant teas or coffee. The coffee was too conc for some us who are not americans.
- Judson (7/5): - Cheap, great location, no frills Need noise proofing can hear everyone in the other rooms.
- Klara (6/5): -
- Sebastiaan (8/5): -
- Monika (10/5): -
- Amir (4/5): - Rest room and bed sheets are very clean.
Lights was good.
Fridge is clean and new.
24/7 front desk People talking with loud voices and making lot of noise all night.
The Microwave has rust from inside and not clean.
The mattress was hard and not comfortable.
No coffe in room or after 12 pm in reception.
- Rachel Louise (3/5): A budget stay sold as a fancy one- solo females avoid. - They had hot water and I was happy that I was only staying 2 nights but it was too long still. The room was clean, thank you cleaners! I was given the wrong room key so walked into someone elses room. The window was barely held in by 2 screws, there was no heating, no kettle, the hallway smelt like smoke. I didn't feel confident leaving my belongings there- the staff and the manager weren't very welcoming.
- Ruben (1/5): Ugly - Nothing The property managers attitude and weird restrictions
- Katja (5/5): -
- Patrick (1/5): The price lures you in but these folks are not running a nice establishment. - They returned the 100 dollar Braun razor—that I left and they said they lost—mysteriously one night with a bizarre request to turn down a tv that was not loud. They returned the 100 dollar Braun razor—that I left and they said they lost—mysteriously one night with a bizarre request to turn down a tv that was not loud. And the residents seemed to make ersatz complaints about tv volume and oh yeah, this one was so awesome—bedbug bites.
- Eduardo (9/5): -
- Cindy (10/5): -
- Kari (8/5): Overall the hotel was perfect for what we needed - an affordable and central location in the city - Location was great A little run down (ripped carpet, hallways smelled a bit smoky)
- Chris Za Bea (10/5): -
- Roberto (6/5): -
- Blumenauer (10/5): -
- Tea Bee (9/5): - Peets coffee made my day! nada
- richard (7/5): A good, safe place to crash. - Great budget in a perfect location. Close to lower Haight, Hayes Valley, and the Divisadero corridor. It’s low budget. A place I stay after seeing a show at The Independent when I don’t want to drive home. A good, safe place to crash.
- Ruslanov (10/5): -
- Bhargav (4/5): Good value but missing the mark - Location , price , bathroom was clean, space heater was working well Upon check-in, I noticed multiple hair strands on the bed linens, which made me unsure if the sheets had been changed. As a result, I did not feel comfortable sleeping in the bed. Cleanliness of linens should be more closely checked prior to guest arrival.
- Ana (5/5): Okay for a pit stop - I have stayed here before. The first time I stayed, I chose it based on location, room type and price, the combination of which made it good value for money. I really enjoyed my stay, which is why I booked again. This time, the only thing that really worked for me was the location. The free coffee is a nice touch too but wouldn't sell it to me. Since they've updated the rooms to give every room its own bathroom, unfortunately it means that they are overly cramped and unpleasant to spend any time in. They charge more for them of course, but they aren't as nice as when there was an option to have a bigger room with a shared bathroom. For some people, space perhaps doesn't matter so much but for me, it felt claustrophobic. This was especially the case given I had an internal room and therefore no fresh air or bright natural light.
- Guadalupe (10/5): Comfortable, cozy, good value for the price - Really cozy, clean, well lit. Only issue was the area was very noisy but that’s expected in SF
- Caitlin Hearfield (8/5): -
- Zamora (7/5): - Good location No AC in unit
- Hannes (7/5): Our stay was wonderful and we'd love to come again - The room was verynice, especially the view out the two windows over the corner onto he city was wonderful!
We liked it very much just to stay in bed and read and look out and enjoy the room. The psoition of the TV was not necessary. sometimes a odd smell covered the room, so we bought a candle with lavendar. the matrass was a bit too weak.
