Guest Reviews
- Ec24ever (8/5): Very nice hotel - Decent breakfast but everyday serve the same foods, hotel is in a great location, staffs are friendly, room is clean with decent size. However the sound proof of the building is quite bad, I can hear the next door talking and the door is making quite a loud noise when close, if you are light sleeper, you may find it hard to relax. The hotel should also advise visitors not to make loud noises after 11pm.
- catalina (8/5): - Estaba muy bien ubicado
- Walter (10/5): Very good. Would do it again. - Parking was close and easy. I booked on booking.com and was a chagrined about not having voucher for breakfast.

- M658HAdaniela (8/5): Nice modern hotel with a few warts - Very modern hotel in downtown Lancaster with an attached upscale restaurant (The Imperial). Our King sized room was very nice, but with some warts: no microwave and mini-fridge that didn't work; maintenance did bring another one in right away when we called the front desk. Also, the mini-store near the front desk DID NOT HAVE any Advils or Tylenol when I was in pain from a backache (was told there was a CVS two blocks away!) Be careful of your surroundings: was panhandled in the parking garage after 10 PM! However, the saving grace was the very attentive and helpful staff who made it a decent stay, and the cuisine was EXCELLENT at the Imperial.

- Veta (9/5): Fun stay at Holiday Inn Lancaster! - The concierge was outstanding and super helpful. The hotel was in a perfect location as it was walking distance to so many fun stores and places to eat. Rooms were large and bed was comfortable. Parking lot so closeby was a plus. Staff at front desk were also friendly. Everything was nice except one issue. In Room 602 the shower floor was badly stained and cracked to the point you did not want to go barefoot in the shower. Wore flip flops. Room should not be left in inventory until fixed, in my opinion. Only stayed one night so just dealt with the issue rather than ask for a room change which I am sure they would have accomodated.
- StrawHatReviews (10/5): Excellent nights sleep - Friendly & helpful staff at check in, check out & the bar.
Large comfy room, Dove products in the bathroom adds to a nice touch.
Quiet rooms.
15 min drop off outside for luggage then you park your car in the garage attached with a hotel ticket.
They have a pool & gym but we didn’t have time to visit
- Lindsey (10/5): Will be returning next year. - The location was convenient to get back and forth to the convention center. Beds were clean and soft. Rooms were very clean. Staff was very attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious and the room was very clean overall. There was no issues. Ability to have more options on the TV and access the TV Guide. Nothing bad really stood out.
- brandoncN1117VQ (10/5): A++ Experience - My organization booked the Holiday Inn to host a convention & we had a great experience. Everyone we worked with was extremely hospitable & went above and beyond to ensure we had a great event - including Paul, Mark, Katelynn, Johari, Kate, Jamie, Damon, Chrissy, Corey, Zee, Vicki, and probably others I'm not remembering.

- Ashley (5/5): -
- Sherrie (8/5): - The room was very nice and very clean. It would have been nice if there would have been some complimentary water bottles in the room. Also a discount on parking would be good. Not free just discounted. Also when checking in it would be nice to be given an overview of where things are in the hotel and how things work (the snacks, the restaurant, the pool location)

- jasonpL1218TW (2/5): Poor Customer Service - Very poor experience. I had purchased reservations at the Holiday Inn Lancaster for $250.97. The reservation was for 2/28/26 (Sat) - 3/1/26 (Sun). My wife and I traveled over an hour to Lancaster to attend an important reservation at a restaurant located a few blocks from the hotel that started promptly at 6:30 PM. When I showed up at their hotel at 6:15 PM to check-in, I stood at the front desk for about 5 minutes. No one was in front of me and the lady at the front desk ignored me and eventually said, "Can I help you." There was no welcoming greeting, and she seemed annoyed throughout my entire interaction with her.
I told the front desk lady my name and that I needed to check-in to my hotel room. She informed me that there were "plumbing" issues and that I could not stay in my already pre-paid hotel room. I found that confusing since the hotel had numerous guests in the hotel lobby and there was even a wedding party there. It made me think that the hotel was overbooked, but she decided to say that there were plumbing issues and that I needed to go to the Heritage Hotel. When I looked up the Heritage Hotel, it was an 18-minute Uber drive from the Lancaster Holiday Inn. I couldn't believe that I was not transferred to a hotel a few blocks from the Holiday Inn. The only reason why I booked at the Lancaster Holiday Inn was because it's close proximity to the restaurant that my wife and I needed to be at. There were no apologies from the lady at the front desk. She informed me that I would be refunded the $250.97 that I prepaid to Priceline. She told me to call Priceline and have them call the Lancaster Holiday Inn to discuss the refund. I was confused that I would have to be the one to call Priceline and that she felt no responsibility of assisting with this process. After I discussed my concerns further, she eventually said that someone would contact Priceline and give me my refund. I asked her if I could receive this information in writing, and she told me no which was shocking to hear considering the inconvenience that I had already received. To date, I have not received any refund.
I did not have time to wait for an Uber to drive me 18 minutes to the Heritage hotel and then have to take an Uber 18 minutes back to the city of Lancaster nor did I want to spend the extra $50 to do this. I barely made it to my restaurant reservation, and it made for a very stressful evening. I never was able to stay at the Heritage hotel due to its inconvenient location. This whole experience was terrible and incredibly unprofessional. I would rate the level of customer service as very poor. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

- Dunai (6/5): It was adequate. Really didn't like the city location - Hotel was clean.
Booking front desk people were kind of cranky The parking was not expected to pay above the booking rate. We had a pickup truck and had to park across the street.
Dinner was ok nothing exceptional. Kind of pricy for what we received
- Clinton (10/5): -
- Roberto (4/5): Pobre - Desayuno no dieron ubicación buena Atención
- Adam (5/5): Ok - Restaurant Parking and bathroom
- Christina (4/5): Due to having to sleep with same sheets and reuse same towels not happy - They did not come back to clean room after I told them to come back in a hour
- Sean (9/5): -
- Jonathan (10/5): Very nice -
- Jerry (10/5): -
- Rebecca (2/5): Never again - Nothing. Very un happy with this hotel. The room was very small. The noise was so bad . Front desk was not nice at all.
- Shirley (7/5): - No breakfast room was clean need microwave
Couldn’t use our outside patio. Need to have fun at outside to sit outside in the sun.
- erica (4/5): Not worth the price - Good location and nice staff For the outrageous price of 430 a night i would expect the rooms to be clean. The toilet clogged and there were spackle marks on the wall. Dirty walls and the tub was gross. Needed to be refinished. If i am paying 80 a night i would expect that. To be paying over 400 a night in Lancaster i would except a higher quality.
- Derek (2/5): -
- Paul (6/5): Overall it was alright - It was clean and well located I didn’t like the fact that when I booked I paid for parking and breakfast but when I checked in they only had me for breakfast so I got double charged for parking and no one would fix it
- Amber (4/5): -
- Rick (9/5): American Airlines cancelled our flight at 8:45 p.m. the night before - Seeing relatives No bathmat. My wife fell and bruised her ribs.

- H9247QSscottc (10/5): Ted - Very good service, especially in the morning breakfast buffet but the entire service was good from check in to check out clean room everything done well we definitely return Everybody is welcoming and great service. again, especially in the buffet area they did all they could to make everything enjoyable for us and a very, very clean room.

- Lohr (9/5): Front desk was super! - Everyone nice, breakfast good Need a microwave in the room when traveling with small children.
- Eric (9/5): -
- DEM197 (2/5): Better Service Elsewhere - I booked this room with breakfast included. When I checked in, the front desk said my room did not include breakfast. Since it would take some time to locate the confirmation email, they gave me my room keys in the meantime .
Unfortunately, the keys didn’t work, so I had to return to the front desk again. After that was resolved, I was finally able to access my room, I tracked down the confirmation email, the staff provided two breakfast passes.
The next morning, I went down early for breakfast, only to find out they canceled their regular breakfast service. As a result, I now have to go through the booking platform to request reimbursement for a cost I already paid upfront.
Overall, this was a frustrating experience with multiple avoidable issues. Lesson learned. There are other hotels in this area that handle these basics much better.

- lillianf773 (2/5): BUGS IN THE BATHROOM - Upon entering our room on the 9th floor, we discovered small bugs crawling in the sink and bathtub (pictures included with this review). We went to the front desk and were given another room on the 10th floor, only to discover the same bugs crawling in the tub.
I called the front desk from the second room and told them that we had the same issue. I requested that they send someone up so that we could have an employee confirm what we were seeing and possibly help us identify the bugs. The front desk sent maintenance to the room. When the maintenance worker arrived, he informed us that he had keys to a third room. I asked him to look at the bugs in the bathtub with us. He told us that he had never seen something like it, but that he didn’t see any bugs when he checked the third room that he was going to give us. I had not requested a third room at any point, and I immediately inquired about a refund.
We took our belongings down to the lobby and told the front desk that we would not be staying and asked for a refund. The employees at the desk quietly took our keys, and we did not receive a single apology from the staff for the condition of the rooms. I am baffled that there were bugs in not only one, but two rooms, and that they thought offering us a third room, unprompted, would resolve the situation. I work in customer service, and I was shocked that no one had the decency to offer us a simple apology for the inconvenience. We had a terrible evening finding a new hotel on short notice while dealing with the anxiety that we may be bringing an infestation of mystery bugs home with us. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.
- Dawn (8/5): - Some employee where good others where questionable. The way the treat the less fortunate and treating of myself was unfair. I think more training and communication is needed, and compassion for the public.
- Guest (5/5): - Security did try to address the noisy kids in the hallway Difficult to work the shower and the soap dispenser

- Theresa (6/5): - Clean soap and lotion was known brand parking garage fee and no breakfast
- RojasKarolina (7/5): Great location and comfortable stay, but it felt little pricey for what it offered. - The location was great and the hotel itself is comfortable. The rooms are clean and the beds are nice. Staff was nice but not very attentive, parking wasn’t clearly included, breakfast hours were a bit confusing, and it felt a little pricey.
- Horton (1/5): - Rooms were stunning Staff at front desk rude and inconsiderate. I feel we were treated disgusting for customer service. More training and smiles. Striving for excellent reviews, your desk staff need to be exemplary.
