- cameron (10/5): We loved it. perfect space for a family. I spent so much quality time with my kids at this Inn. - I had 2 of my kids with me over the weekend (11 and 7). They got to pick a movie (offered in the lobby) to watch at night as a family (finished with Goonies). The hotel offered board games, so we played Uno and Sorry. We walked to downtown for the bumper cars and some ice cream. We came to Seaside for my daughter's travel softball tournament and we had a blast as a family and as a team. The lobby was always offering snacks (which my kids took advantage of). Ms. Ruth talked to me every time I passed by and she was excited about my daughter playing competitive softball. She really made this stay extra special and comfortable. We will definitely be staying at this Inn in August when I bring my whole family. If I was nit-picky, I guess I'd say the parking situation. However, I have a big truck so there's no way I can park in the small spaces. I was always destined for street parking. I had quarters for my laundry (just change I collect in a cup), but I think a quarter dispensing machine might benefit as well.

The room where the so called breakfast was supposed to be, was a very small and extremely cluttered room. It also serves as the front office. The items on display for breakfast did not look appetizing. The check in office was very messy and did not look professional. It's obviously an older establishment and it shows. The grounds were not trim and neat and the main parking lot is quite small and on an incline. My husband couldn't safely park his truck in it.

- HEATHER (5/5): Great location, super friendly staff but room could use some work as far as maintenance, cleaning. - Lovely and friendly staff, check-in office offered movies and snacks. Very close access to the beach and restaurants. We stayed in one of the bungalows. I feel bad saying this because the staff was so nice, but the room was not in great shape. Missing light fixtures in some rooms, very dusty and one of the rooms had a strong urine odor, maybe from previous dogs?

- Erica (8/5): - The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had to add my puppy at check in and they were very accommodating and welcoming of my pup. She was given a little doggie bag with potty bags, drinking bowl and towel. The staff provided a list of restaurants that offer a discount when we mention where we are staying. They also provided a list of dog friendly restaurants where we can eat with our pup. The room could've been cleaner.
- LDM (2/5): Never Again - I could see a bit of the ocean/promenade from my room. Room was dated, shabby, and grimy. Portable heater in bedroom did not work, tried multiple outlets. By the time I realized the bedroom heater wasn't working the office was closed. Went to bed fully clothed and wearing my puffer jacket, managed only a few hours of poor quality sleep. The sleeping area was miserably cold.

Board games to play items for the beach in case you forgot yours! Highly recommended this place! Not to mention their jacuzzi tub!!

- Elisabeth (8/5): We had a great family stay at the lovely Hillcrest Inn - If you want immediate access to downtown and the beach this is a great place to stay, which if you’re gonna go to seaside for a short vaca, what else is there! The cottage we were in had aqua/turquoise decor which was really cute. We bought groceries for dinner both nights & it was easy to cook and enjoy. Heater kept us warm. DVDs in the main office were plentiful & we watched a bunch of movies after dinner & while it rained. Ruth was a gem, really kind & welcoming. Everything was very clean!!! The only thing I didn’t love was overall clutter outside the front desk. This seemed like such an easy fix, just shove stuff in a closet or garage and only keep out items/furniture that look ascetic and/or functional.

- Boyle (8/5): A quirky, cosy coastal retreat. - I enjoyed the location which was close to the beach and downtown Seaside so I could walk everywhere. It was very cozy and everyone was super helpful and friendly. The wifi was not the best (it worked, just a bit spotty) but other than that extremely minor inconvenience, I really don't have any complaints.

- Jennifer (10/5): So cozy, so perfect, going back next year for sure! - The location, the room layout and the amenities were exactly what we needed for a kids sporting event. Loved it! We had access to stream whatever we wanted, we were in walking distance to food and beach and all the things. Out of three beds, only one was comfortable. The couch was cozy too. Other two beds were basically like sleeping on the floor.
- Hylton (9/5): The perfect wknd spot for location with amazing staff - Great location, lovely outdoor area, comfortable beds, jacuzzi tub. Staff were some of the sweetest I’ve ever met. Put birthday girls name on the sign and surprised her with flowers, decor, a cake, and sparkling cider. Truly above and beyond ❤️ The price was very reasonable as well! The only thing was trying to get the shower just right for the temperature, have to have some patience with it as the temp was really touchy. Also, couldn’t quite get the jacuzzi tub warm enough.

- Victoria (7/5): If you want something close to the beach and are not looking for a fancy room, this is your place! - Great location! Everything is a walking distance and beach is super close. They have games you can check out at the front desk and movies as well I thought that was pretty cool! Room was a little outdated but if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep this is a good place No elevator so if you have mobility issues be careful . A/C in the room didn’t seem to work , it was chilly outside so it wasn’t that big an issue but it did feel a little stuffy and the door was hard to open . Bathroom door also didn’t lock.

- Eileen (10/5): I’ll stay here again. The service, employees & owners go above & beyond! Support Small Business!! - Excellent service. Fast, friendly, professional . EXCELLENT location. I was able to walk to the beach (less than one block) and was just 3 blocks from the Convention Center, downtown center for shopping and restaurants. It is an excellent location. The atmosphere was so upbeat and positive. It was very quiet!!! I have back and knee issues and the facility is difficult to get to. I had a first floor room but still had to walk up stairs to get to my room however staff was eager and very willing to help.

And it's an amazing location because you have a 2 minute walk to the beach or to the downtown area. The room we were staying in and the outdoor area were nice and neat. Snacks and movies available at no extra charge. Games, sauna my hubby loved that. Dog smell in the beds and on the couches. It's a pet friendly hotel, so some might not care. I don't share my bed with my dog so climbing into bed smelling someone else's dogs was gross to me. The bedding was nice and clean but when an animal sleeps in a bed regularly the smell is transferred.

Overall They responded immediately to concerns and suggestions. Older building but served the purpose! The furnace was loud , hard to sleep at first. - Hall (10/5): Best at home feeling motel in town - The employees were so nice helped me so much with a sticky situation and I can't thank them enough, they are all so kind, and they also give great snacks too. The building itself the layout is so cute and very home feeling the room is clean super cute ties for toilet paper, and towels, the bed was very comfortable and the motel was so quiet I could sleep during day no problem, I'm very grateful I got this motel and plan on spending weekly here for moment. It's a block from beach from downtown and all the cute shops very good prices I thought with low prices it's be on the lower end but I was so wrong, not alt all lower end and can't believe the price you pay is cheaper then motel 6 and so much better thank you so much I really enjoyed my stay 🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🙏🙏🙏 There is nothing I didn't like it was so perfect for me
