• Stefan (9/5): Sehr empfehlenswert!!! - Unfassbar tolle Location, paradiesische Strände, saubere Zimmer, Ruhe, das Korallenriff direkt vor der Haustüre. Sehr empfehlenswert. Das Frühstück, das bei unserem Zimmer inklusive war, war sehr lecker. hier gab es auch die Möglichkeit, à la carte zu bestellen. Das Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant war relativ teuer. Alternativ empfiehlt sich weiter im Süden am Strand BMH Bar. Essen und Service waren hier einwandfrei und auch etwas günstiger. Im Vergleich zu einem anderen Unterkünften, die wir erlebt haben, war hier der Austausch mit der Rezeption nicht ganz so positiv. Die Rezeptionistin machte immer den Eindruck, sehr beschäftigt zu sein und genervt und hing hinter dem Tresen am Hand- was mir grundsätzlich egal ist, aber es mir schwer machte, mit ihr in Kontakt zu treten für weitere Informationen, auch wenn wenig Betrieb war.

• Alexander (9/5): - Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Resort. Die Anlage ist von viel Grün umgeben – Palmen, eine liebevoll gestaltete Umgebung und eine angenehm ruhige, abgeschiedene Atmosphäre. Ideal auch für Familien mit Kindern, da es viele verschiedene Aktivitäten gibt. Sogar ein Surfspot ist vorhanden. Die Bungalows sind stilvoll gestaltet und fügen sich harmonisch in die Natur ein. Der Strand ist ebenfalls sehr schön, allerdings sollte man beachten, dass Schwimmen hauptsächlich bei Flut gut möglich ist. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist der Preis: Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels ist er wirklich fair, besonders für das, was hier geboten wird. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt betrifft den Empfang: Die Dame an der Rezeption wirkte leider nicht besonders freundlich. In Thailand ist man normalerweise einen sehr herzlichen Service gewohnt, und auch das übrige Personal war freundlich – vielleicht hatten wir einfach einen ungünstigen Moment erwischt. Beim Frühstück hatten wir jedoch ein etwas unangenehmes Erlebnis. Uns wurde zunächst gebeten, nur ein Gericht pro Person zu bestellen und erst bei Bedarf nachzubestellen, um Lebensmittelverschwendung zu vermeiden. Grundsätzlich ist das verständlich, allerdings entstand dadurch von Anfang an ein gewisses Gefühl, als würde man „zu viel“ bestellen. Da die Portionen eher klein waren, mussten wir tatsächlich nachbestellen – und dann jeweils wieder warten. Teilweise wurden Bestellungen vergessen, und insgesamt dauerte alles recht lange, obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren. Dadurch konnten wir die Frühstücksatmosphäre leider nicht wirklich genießen. Der Ansatz, Ressourcen zu schonen, ist absolut nachvollziehbar, aber gleichzeitig sollte man sich als Gast auch einfach satt und wohl fühlen können, ohne dabei ein unangenehmes Gefühl zu haben. Ein weiterer Punkt betrifft die Liegen am Strand: Diese wirken teilweise stark abgenutzt und sehr uneinheitlich – von alten Plastikliegen über Holzstühle bis hin zu älteren Chaiselongues ist alles dabei. Das steht in einem deutlichen Kontrast zum ansonsten sehr gepflegten und stilvollen Gesamtbild des Resorts. Hier könnte man überlegen, in neue und einheitlichere Liegen zu investieren, um den Gesamteindruck weiter zu verbessern.

• Sarina (10/5): Absolut zu empfehlen - Die komplette Insel ist ein Tram und dieses Hotel war die perfekte Wahl für unseren Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist sehr nett, das Bungalow sind sauber und ansonsten fehlt es einem an nichts. Der Strand, sowie das Korallenriff vornedran sind wahnsinnig schön und wir empfehlen das Hotel sehr. Wasserflaschen ersetzen, doch, dass man gratis Wasser auffüllen kann ist richtig toll!

• Silja (8/5): Sehr schöne Hütten an einem nicht so schönen Strandabschnitt - Der Strand direkt vor dem Hotel ist nicht schön, da ganz schmal und felsig, auch schlecht zum Schwimmen, weiter nördlich wird der Strand viel breiter und schöner, aber man kann ja hinlaufen Als ich mich nach Tauchmöglichkeiten erkundigt habe, hat mich der Rezeptionist erst einmal ausgelacht, das fand ich irritierend, später gab es dann äußerst dürftige Infos, so dass ich die halbe Stunde zur Tauchschule selbst laufen musste, es gibt zwei kleine Tauchschulen auf der Insel, Tauchen mit dem Longtailboot, alles sehr rustikal, als ich da war gab es allerdings null Sicht, man schwamm in einer grünmilchigen Suppe, Mega enttäuschend, wir haben nicht einmal das Hausriff, an dem es auch Schildkröten geben soll erkennen können, nicht um Vollmond herum hinfahren Die Betten sind sehr hart, habe dann aber netterweise noch einen zusätzlichen Topper bekommen, dann ging es Das Essen im Hotel hat uns nicht begeistert, aber man hat zahlreiche andere Möglichkeiten Wir hatten eine Hütte, etwas weiter hinten, man sich wie im Dschungel gefühlt inkl. Geräuschen, allerdings auch mit Kakerlaken im Zimmer, aber das ist wegen des Moskitonetzes kein Problem

La restauration et son attente interminable. Une heure dix pour un plat pas terrible. Petit déjeuner à peine moyen. Pour le restaurant, trois cents mètres à pied et vous aurez beaucoup mieux.

• Anja (10/5): Traumhaftes Beach Resort - Wir hatten eine wunderschönen Aufenthalt und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück mit Ausblick war auch super. Die vielen Moskitos im Zimmer, trotz Moskitonetzen und Abwehrfallen (dafür kann das Resort aber nichts).

• Jerome (10/5): Paradisiaque - Les cottages sont sur la plage. Le notre avait la vue océan en premières ligne, c’est merveilleux ! On se sent bien, au calme, il y a peu de proximité. Les lits sont confortables, la chambre assez spacieuses avec une salle de bain ouverte sur l’extérieur. Ce resort se trouve en bout de plage donc peu de passage, tout est tranquille. Le restaurant a une vue superbe, le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon ainsi que les repas. Le personnel est au petit soin. Quand on arrive en long Boat, c’est époustouflant on sait qu’on va passer un séjour paradisiaque ! Rien

• Bartłomiej (10/5): Ogólnie zdecydowanie polecam, świetne miejsce na odpoczynek. - Świetna lokalizacja obiektu, prawie na samym końcu plaży. Domek czysty, sprzątany codziennie. Łóżko duże i wygodne, również ścielone codziennie (co dla nas nie było potrzebne). W resorcie restauracja z dużym wyborem dań, ceny wyższe niż w restauracjach na wyspie. Kuchnia organizuje wieczorne grille z rybami czy owocami morza, warto spróbować, nasza ryba była przepyszna. Śniadania bardzo smacznie, nie dało się wyjść głodnym. (Jedna uwaga co do śniadań jest niżej) Do odpoczynku jest sporo leżaków, huśtawka, stół do ping ponga. Są maski do snoorkowania, materace do pływania. Świetne miejsce na odpoczynek. Personel bardzo miły, uśmiechnięty i pomocny. (aczkolwiek dwie małe uwagi również są niżej.) Rezerwacje leżaków przez gości, którzy zostawiali na nich swoje ręczniki czy poduszki po czym wychodzili z resortu na pół dnia. Po powrocie wielkie zdziwienie, że ktoś ośmielił się zdjąć ich rzeczy z leżaka. To uwaga bardziej odnośnie zachowania gości resortu niż pretensje do hotelu. Nie zostaliśmy poinformowani przez personel, że oprócz bufetu na śniadanie jest także wybór dań z karty. Powiedziała nam o tym jedna z Pań, która również była gościem hotelu i której też nikt o tym nie poinformował, przypadkiem znalazła gdzieś z boku menu śniadaniowe. Pani na recepcji sprawiała wrażenie, że znajduje się tam za karę, była chyba jedynym minusem wśród całej obsługi hotelu, na pytania odpowiadała z nosem w telefonie, jakby niezainteresowana tym co robi.

• anthony (5/5): Tired, basic and overpriced, but friendly - Great situation, mostly very friendly staff, good food, Awful nylon sheets and terrible pillows. Not enough sun loungers and all uncomfortable and old. Loo separate to bathroom with no sink in it. Perfectly pleasant bungalow but way overpriced, reminded me of my backpacking days (plus a/c!) certainly not worth the money. We’re very happy to pay this amount of money but it has to be related to the quality of the accommodation.

• Lasse (7/5): - Das Thapwarin Resort gehört unserer Meinung nach auf jeden Fall zu den zwei schönsten Hotels auf Koh Ngai! Das Frühstück ist super und es werden sowohl thailändische als auch europäische Gerichte angeboten. Zum Abendessen waren wir immer in den benachbarten Restaurants. Die Liegen & Stühle am Strand könnten deutlich bequemer sein. Gerade mit Blick auf das benachbarte Hotel ist hier sehr viel Luft nach oben.

Plus, the food at the restaurant is delicious! The property felt somehow unfinished… I’m not sure how to explain exactly other than it felt a bit sterile. The staff were always friendly and we were very comfortable but the place had a very tourist/resort feel to it. The restaurant was also quite expensive.

Please use coral safe sunscreen - tapwarin sells this in their shop Sad to see plastics on the beach, we were happy that tapwarin was an eco hotel and took care of this. Be sure to ask for a bamboo straw at other places on the island, and no plastic cups. Clean up the plastics you see on the beach when you make a walk, this will help a lot if we all do a bit
• Zuzana (10/5): Paradise without crowds - This hotel is a true paradise, especially after the crowded and noisy atmosphere of Krabi. The location is exceptional — a quiet island, perfect for escaping the crowds, with a beautiful, clean beach and stunning crystal-clear water. There are very few noisy boats, which makes the experience even more peaceful. The resort itself feels calm and welcoming, and everyone is genuinely friendly and smiling. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious and beautifully presented dishes. I especially appreciated the pasta, pizza, and international cuisine options as well. The served breakfasts, complemented by a buffet, were excellent and had everything we could wish for. I also highly value the hotel’s eco-friendly approach — no single-use plastics or artificial straws, which is wonderful to see. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. After busy and overcrowded Krabi, we truly found our paradise here. 🌴✨ Nothing :)

Vänlig underbar personal och äntligen ett boende i Thailand som ger dig möjlighet fylla på vattenflaskor och som bryr sig om sin närmiljö (grodor, land eremit krabbor etc). Tack för omtanke!! 🙏 Boendet har verkligen ingen strand. Går bada med ta med badskor. Mycket mygg pga sötvatten flod precis bakom. Aggressiva röda skogsmyror. Så detta överlever man förhoppningsvis men håll ögonen öppna även för orm.

• Dominique (8/5): Nous nous somme arrêter sur koh Ngai, afin d’éviter les 5 h de speed boat de phuket a Koh Lipe, je pense que c’était une - L’absence du tourisme de masse, la tranquillité… La mer à marée basse, La pluie 😅

• alex (8/5): - Morgenmaden var meget god. Flot beliggenhed. Værelset kunne være bedre indrettet, så man kunne sidde indendørs ved et bord og arbejde med en PC. Jeg spurgte til at værelsets SAFE ikke virkede, samme dag jeg ankom. Dette blev aldrig udbedret. Hotellets restaurant kunne godt have flere retter med fisk på menuen.

• Marta (8/5): Na 2 dni optymalnie. - Lokalizacja, domki przy samej plaży. Wygodne łóżka, rajskie widoki. Duże braki w asortymencie restauracji - brak nutelli, brak lodów, brak kokosów - rozumiem że wyspa, ale bary i restauracje tuż obok nie miały takich braków - na nasze szczęście :) restauracja nie chciała nas obsłużyć - chodziło o napoje bo otwierała się od 12.00.
• Peter (10/5): Paradise on earth! - This place is a paradise. Beautiful island, hotel with great vibes and super friendly staff which treats you like a family. We booked 3 nights and it was not enough, next year we will stay longer.

• Karolina (9/5): Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni…spokój, cisza, bliskość natury - chcesz odpocząć od zgiełku - przypływaj. - Obiekt jest szczery - to co widzisz na zdjęciach to dostajesz. Bieg życia na wyspie reguluje natura, a konkretnie plywy, więc miejsce ma charakter kameralny. Śniadania bardzo dobre i lokalizacja restauracji cudowna…piękny widok, natura na wyciągnięcie ręki. Takie poranki to absolutne spełnienie moich oczekiwań, Tajlandii nie zadeptanej przez turystów. Nie było takich rzeczy, które by mi przeszkadzały.

• Dieter (8/5): Schönes Resort mit nettem Personal. Es wird aber Zeit das an den Strandtreppen und an der Uferbefestigung Renovierungsar - Die Lage und die Größe des Resorts. Die Liegen bzw. Stühle am Strand sind schon sehr abgenutzt und sollten erneuert werden. Auch ist Zugang vom Strand aus Bambus und Autoreifen nicht wirklich sicher und leicht zu bewältigen von der Optik ganz zu schweigen.

• Janek (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft für eine Auszeit - Sehr schöne Anlage mit schönen Bungalows in der Natur gelegen. Wir konnten somit auch etliche Vögel beobachten. Tolle Schnorchelmöglichkeit im Meer (viele Fische aber leider fast keine Korallen mehr)
• Alexander (5/5): - Die Lage ist einzigartig. Die Insel hat ca. 10 Resorts, die meisten mit direkter Ost-Strandlage. Anreise ist nur per Speedboat und Longtailboat möglich. Es gibt kein Straßen auf der Insel und somit keine Autos oder Roller. Das Personal im Restaurant war sehr zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich. Das Personal hat sich bei der Silvesterfeier sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Der Abend war sehr schön. Das Abendessen war im Zimmerpreis am Silvesterabend inklusive. Immer wenn wir bei der Empfangsleitung Jay etwas erfragen wollten, wirkte sie genervt und unfreundlich. Erst als wir im Gespräch nach ihrem Namen fragte, war ein Lächeln zu sehen. Leider gab es im Bungalow sehr viele Moskitos (wie eine Plage) und das Moskitonetz um das Bett war stark verschmutzt. Es war nicht möglich, die Moskitos aus dem Zimmer fernzuhalten, da die Bungalows einfache, nicht abgedichtete Hütten sind.
• Alexander (5/5): - Einzigartige Lage. Sehr freundliches Personal im Restaurant. Der Check In war etwas anstrengend, da eine große Familie mit 17 Personen gleichzeitig anreiste und die Rezeption überfordert war. Der Bungalow hat gestunken und hat schon bessere Tage gesehen.
• Michał (10/5): - Super obiekt bardzo czysto personel uśmiechnięty i we wszystkim pomaga. Lokalizacja na samej plaży cisza i spokój. Pyszne śniadania nie limitowane i europejskie i lokalne. Dodatkowo restauracja z doskonałym ijedzeniem. Super wypoczynek Niektóre domki wymagają juz odświeżenia, ale w żaden sposób nie wpływa to na pobyt. Wszędzie czysto.
• Ebba (9/5): Lovely beachfront bungalow - Stayed both in beachfront and garden villas - definitely recommend the beachfront if you can afford it. Larger and newer bungalows, we loved it there! Garden bungalows were a bit more worn but still nice. Nice location at calmer end of the beach. 10/10 service in the restaurant, good breakfast and food. Overall super happy!
• Sylvie (9/5): An absolutely beautiful location - This is paradise. The location is absolutely breathtaking. The view from the resort on the turquoise sea is amazing. The arrival by long tail boat is quite fun and we thank all the porters who carried our luggage in the sea. The staff in the restaurant are very kind and the food very good. We enjoyed very much walking on the beach which is quite long and full of beautiful shells . Note that in the evening because of the high tide you can't go anywhere but it's not a problem because you can eat at the resort . The room was quite basic for the price but we enjoyed the mosquito net around the bed . Beautiful!
