Guest Reviews
Rien
- Laura (9/5): Wonderful place and lovely hosts - Wonderful stay with my 1.5 year old son, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much we had a brilliant time.
- Ben (9/5): Would book again! - Excellent location, very friendly and helpful, room was spotless! Breakfast 10/10 fresh and delicious! Thank you
- Shaun (10/5): Simply wonderful and relaxing. - Location and facilities excellent. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. All locally sourced and delicious. Hosts were great. N/a
- Gosse (10/5): Very nice place to be, - Eenvoudig mooie Engelse farm, fijne kamer
- Kris (10/5): Little Abbey Farm provided a comfortable stay in a lovely setting. - We booked last minute and were delighted with the location and facility. It's a working farm with livestock, bees and a working dog. Our home in Minnesota is rural too so we felt at home at Little Abbey Farm. The hosts were welcoming and were kind enough to give us a tour of the farm. Our room was clean, spacious with a view of the pasture. Breakfasts were traditional British fare made to order. The location was tricky to find & the roads narrow.
- Carol (10/5): -
- susan (8/5): Really enjoyable - Excellent breakfast.
- Susan (9/5): Relaxing. Helpful staff - Friendly. Accommodating. Lovely English breakfast
- Brendan (8/5): -
- kirby (10/5): Wonderful, a beautiful break from busy city life. - Property was immaculately clean. Beautifully silent in the evening and during the day just the sounds of the animals and farm life. We were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was lovely, you also have the option to buy home made jams and honey produced on the farm along with fresh eggs. The stay was made even better by having Tilly the sheep dog greet us every morning and keep us company whilst we had our tea in the morning.
- Elaine (9/5): A lovely B&B on a working farm, ideal introduction to Norfolk. - Ben and Diane were very welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely staying on a working farm. Good breakfast too, which set us up for the day!
- Maxine (10/5): -
- Efrat (10/5): - A lovely working farm, with cows wandering around and pigs and sheep. Our room was small but had absolutely everything we needed. The kids really enjoyed the little tractors outside and the breakfast was delicious!!! Thank you!
- Catherine (7/5): - Location was perfect for us and very peaceful. The hosts were very pleasant. Unfortunately the bacon and sausage was over cooked which made it hard to chew.
- Edward (10/5): Lovely hosts and delicious breakfast. Was made to feel very welcome. Such a lovely friendly couple. - We had a lovely 2 night stay, very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed and felt very welcome
- THOMAS (9/5): Very good - Lovely rural location. Nice and quiet, very comfortable and clean. Nothing
- Marie (10/5): Perfect stay-thank you - Such a sweet and relaxing little gem of a b&b set on a working farm. Room perfect and had everything we needed including tea facilities, fresh milk available in the breakfast room and an en-suite. We stayed here attending a wedding that weekend nearby at Pentney lakes which we were able to walk to. Excellent breakfast to set us up for the day. Even got a chance to help the farmer give the calves their breakfast on one morning! Wonderful hosts who were a delight and gave us tips on travelling to towns nearby. Thank you! Nothing
- Lesley (9/5): A great getaway. - Quiet and peaceful. Just what we needed. Could have been a little tidier but didn’t impact on our great stay.
- paul (10/5): Would book here again with pleasure - The owners were extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent and the room was excellent. Getting to the destination was a problem but not the owners fault, the booking app took me to the wrong place, luckily not too far from where we were meant to be,
- Tania (9/5): lovely stay. would recommend Little Abbey Farm to everyone. Just the mattress was uncomfortable - Breakfast was excellent would defo recommend The mattress. Sorry it was very uncomfortable and noisy when you turned over
- Tony (8/5): I would recommend this location. Overall a good experience. I would stay again if visiting the area - Accomodation was as expected and I liked the fact that I had my own front door and could come and go as I pleased. Location was peaceful. Breakfast was excellent and the host was responsive to requests. The host Diane was available if required and very friendly I believe the booking stated a fridge. That was located in the separate dining room as opposed to the room. Not a great problem though
- Stewart (10/5): Relaxing, quiet, owners attentive whilst not overwhelming - Breakfast was superb, the whole experience was exceptional Nothing really

- Clive (8/5): -
- Charles (9/5): The breakfast are outstanding!! -
- FELICITY (8/5): Very nice. - The friendliness of our hosts. Fresh milk was available from the fridge in the dining room. The very nice breakfast each day. It was very quiet. Our room was very clean. We did not have a 'garden view' from our room. The garden that side of the property was completely overgrown, no flowers and hadn't seen a lawnmower for sometime. In fact there were different types of lawnmowers - a ewe and lambs. Unfortunately, we paid full price for the accommodation, which was well up to price for what was offered. On your booking page, it has now been discounted by more than 10%. I should have cancelled and re-booked saving me well over £50.00.
- Lorraine (9/5): Wonderful break In great setting - Gorgeous setting / real working farm / owners were so lovely and let the children feed the lambs which was a bonus.
Food was lovely - local produce Nothing
- Kathryn (10/5): A wonderful farm break - Ben and Diane are excellent hosts and the breakfast is superb. I was able to bottle feed the lambs Larry and Barry and the dogs are welcoming and very friendly. We had a marvellous break at Little Abbey Farm - thoroughly recommend this B and B! Nothing
- william (8/5): Very good stay and we would book this place for return visits to the county. - Farm locations are great . Natural countryside and the sounds of the farm . Very comfortable room and next door to the breakfast room all on ground floor and as we are getting elderly it suited us greatly and we would always book this location again should we return to suffolk/norfolk in the future years. Everything was fine.
- Stephen (7/5): -
- Sidra (8/5): Homely B&B with wonderful owners. - Lovely, warm and welcoming owners. Vegetarian breakfast made to order was delicious. Location was close to Kings Lynn and beaches.
- Mathieu (10/5): -
- Emma (10/5): Ideal location for Pentney Abbey - A great location for attending a wedding at Pentney Abbey. There was car parking available and the room was so quiet which was ideal for getting restful sleep. Delicious breakfast, with options for big or small appetites, and very friendly and helpful hosts.
We stayed for two nights and it was lovely to be able to walk around the farm and explore nearby footpaths, accessible from the farm.
The hosts recommended a local pub, Carpenters Arms, for an evening meal which was a short drive away with great food.
- Mary (7/5): -
- janet (6/5): Would have appreciate more flexibility about break time. There was one time only and not even a cold option of cornflake - Good, warm welcome very accommodating about extra stuff I needed to store. Bedroom and shower were spotless and tea and coffee available plus a fridge for your own bits and pieces. Loved the fact it was a working farm too. The property was just fine
- Abbie (9/5): Lovely little bed and breakfast ☺️ - Lovely, clean good sized room, breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from, owners were attentive and friendly. No hand soap in bathroom
- Mervyn (10/5): - Beautiful place accomodation was excellent , breakfast was amazing and the hosts were perfect Nothing
- Beverly (8/5): Nice room and good breakfasts… good value for money. - Lovely little farm stay. Nice location and friendly hosts….
- maria (7/5): Garden view? - Very welcoming and nice owners. Good breakfast. Authentic working farm in the countryside. Quiet place. We found the room dark and small. The room's outside area was not comfortable neither charming, we expected garden views but it's indeed farm views (see picture).
- Stephen (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable. - Excellent room, great breakfast, wonderful staff.
A fabulous place to stay.
- Mark (10/5): - The rooms were excellent and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to order. The owners were very helpful and helped us get taxis. Nothing
- emma (9/5): Amazing little farm, friendly staff, very accommodating, we will definitely be back. - We had a late arrival on the first night and this was all arranged perfectly.
We were made to feel welcome and the grounds are lovely. Staff very friendly, overall a lovely place. A later breakfast would have been amazing
- Guest (10/5): Amazing. I will be back. - Friendly, family touch. Amazing breakfast. Nothing.
- Gerry (9/5): - Little Abbey farm is a working farm but a delightful location for a stay. Home cooked breakfast was delicious, our granddaughter loved the sausages especially! There were pigs chickens, dogs and lambs roaming free and extremely friendly. Our room was well appointed and comfortable with a very modern en suite shower room. Could have some of the toy tractors repaired and on the road for the kids!
- Marion (10/5): Lovely place and lovely people - All round, I had a lovely time at Little Abbey Farm. It was lovely to meet the dogs, the sheep and the pigs at close range and to see the farm in action. The breakfast was first class and I cannot fault anything. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area. Nothing of note.
- Claire (10/5): Fabulous stay - We loved our stay at Little Abbey Farm. The location was perfect. Nice and peaceful but also a great base for visiting places in Norfolk. The room was lovely with a comfy bed. Breakfast was so delicious and staff are very attentive and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay again. Can't think of anything.
- John (9/5): Great place to stay for exploring local area. - Fantastic breakfasts, generous portions of exceptional food freshly prepared. Conveniently situated for exploring local places of interest on Norfolk. Farmhouse also had interesting historical connections with stone from local Abbey.
- kevin (8/5): - Location and the food was delicious
- Gemma (10/5): Absolutely amazing and will be staying again x - Its such a beautiful place to stay. The owners are so lovely and they make you feel so welcome.
You don't feel like a number who's staying at their place. You feel appreciated and very welcome.
They even let us feed the lambs one morning and then we were allowed around the farm to look at the beautiful cows and pigs. And they have gorgeous doggies who are just a delight. Beans on the breakfast haha ! But everything else was amazing. I'm just a bean lover
- ADRIAN (10/5): lovely break made special by the friendly hosts and a delicious breakfast with constant refills of tea coffee - so quiet area , views of farm animals
stayed in glamping honeybee lodge
lovely place so clean and tidy nothing
- Paul (9/5): -
- Blacker (10/5): - I chose little abbey farm because it was near to the wedding venue The room wasn't overly warm when we arrived, more noticable because it was a chilly day
