- V8678THroberth (10/5): Superb breakfasts - This is without a doubt a great place to stay. Everyone, from the manager down, helped us with anything we needed. They have the best breakfasts, not the same everyday, Seasoned potatoes and eggs, chorizo with one or both, multiple pastries, cold whole or 2% milk, same juices but never a bland breakfast. We will definitely return
- Brandon (8/5): Decent - I have been staying here for a couple of years now. The hotel is really needing some maintenance. There is mold in the bathroom. The bath tub has paint peeling and the AC wouldn’t get below 75. Positive side room was clean

The keys would not work on occasion I had to go to front desk to get reactivated. Side doors and pool doors did not work you have to go in through the front lobby which was kinda annoying. Overall okay stay.

- Robert (4/5): - This hotel is pretty run down. Ice maker was out of order. Water fountain out of order. No room service, apparently they were fired that same day. Worst part was it was not clean. Pretty sure the sheets were not changed. And there was used hand towels, they had makeup on them. The shower was worn down, pealing and just nasty. The wall had paint peeling. The room was non smoking but smelled like cigars. Overall, I would not stay there again, due to the cleanliness.

- mmanci423942 (10/5): Weekend stay - For short notice this hotel was awesome. From check in to out was delightful. Front desk was nice and friendly and hotel was pet friendly aswell. I will be using this location for future use and to host small gatherings.
- Nataly (4/5): - The face that there’s no access to the dining area for utensils/ plates etc is inconvenient. The bathrooms were obviously not clean, the sheets were stained. The staff isn’t aware of what rooms are occupied or not. Almost had someone walk in my room when I was still sleeping.

- Frank (4/5): - When reviewed through expedia, this motel was identified as pet friendly. Nothing else regarding pets. But when I checked in, the rate was increased $25 per day for my chihuahua. They said it was on their web site. I could have stayed elsewhere for less cost if I had known. Never received linen renewal during the two day stay. Maybe this is on the web site too.
- Sheila (6/5): Disappointed - Check out took along time. Our room smelled weird. My daughters room was a bit warm. Breakfast was the most minimal amount of choices. I always stay at La Quintas and this was definitely not up to the normal standards

- karyt92022 (2/5): Not as good as advertised - I decided to go with this hotel because the rating was good but when we got there the hotel looked all the opposite, not clean, NO BREAKFAST instead they had burritos to go which were cold and not good and capri sun to drink overall I was not satisfied with our stay.

Tiles on entry was sticky. Breafast was a taco and juice. Pro: Friendly staff But to be fair they were understaffed and working hard to make it better, trying to get more staff and plans are to bring back the breakfast bar.

- margm418 (6/5): Pet friendly - This hotel does accept pets. The room we had was large but carpeted. Room has microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Nice area out back if you have a dog that needs a run. Grab and go breakfast. Really great fish and chip place a two minute walk away. The worse thing was that the window leaked so mold was growing on the sill. We were beside an exit door so could hear people coming in and out. Staff very helpful and friendly. Overall was okay. Would go back but not to that room.

- gottalovepink (6/5): Eeh! - My stay during Covid - So we had booked a suite for the 4th of July weekend. We arrived earlier than expected and fully knowing that check in is at 3PM, my friend goes in alone and asked the front desk man if we could get an early check in. This was like at 11:30AM. Considering the few cars we see in the parking lot (about 3) we didn't think it would be a big deal. My friend was told that if we wanted to check in early we would be charged an extra day. The earliest we could check in would be about 1PM or 2PM. We leave the hotel and grab something to eat just making time. Finally at 1PM we head back to the hotel. This time I get off by myself and ask the same front desk man if we can have an early check in to which I'm simply asked for a picture ID and credit card. He checks our reservation, hands us room keys and that was pretty much it. No hospitality, no greeting, no welcoming. And this was pretty accurate for the rest of our stay. I asked about the included breakfast and he replied they weren't offering due to covid and mumbled something about to go plates but didn't really provide any information. In total I ran across 3 different hotel employees. None were wearing masks. I was there from July 3rd - July 5th and never saw anyone from the hotel staff wearing a mask even though I bumped into then several times throughout my stay. Oh, but there was a sign at the door asking for guests to wear a mask! 🙄 The room was clean and everything was made up perfectly, except the small fridge, which was stained with red. I'm not sure if something spilled from the previous guest and just hadn't been cleaned properly. Other than that no issues so cleaning seemed good! Also, not that I even used the dining area for breakfast since it was not being offered to covid, but because I passed it every time we left and entered the hotel. It needs attention. Mostly all the chairs were deteriorating and were peeling off. The area needs some replacements and improvement. To be fully honest, I doubt I'll ever stay here again. Next time I'm in town, I'll check one of the other hotels. Just can't get over how if there's hardly any guests why an earlier check in seemed like such a hassle, the staff wasn't wearing masks, and the weary look of the dining area upon entering.

Close to border without being in a highly populated location. Stayed during covid19 pandemic and visually observed the disinfecting after each guest touched something such as the counter or the luggage carts.

- SpudTater (10/5): Rick!!! - We came to this la quinta to visit my husband at work. They offer a taco tuesday night, that's where we met RICK! He is the taco and beer bartender extraordinaire he goes above and beyond! He enjoys his job and it shows in all the things he does. He checked on all the customers during their self service meal time, I cannot praise him enough. He made this trip memorable. We will be back just for his hospitality. Bianca is also a shining star at this location. She is kind, helpful and beautiful!

- wickens91 (10/5): Great staff - This hotel is very updated and modern looking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, maintained and decent sized with flooring not carpet (that’s a plus). The grounds and pool area was clean and well maintained.

- tedamerican (10/5): Rhonda is the BEST! - Excellent hotel. I can watch tv in the lobby and drink as much coffee or tea as I want. The breakfast is SO GOOD and the dinner is just as good. My room is awesome with lots of channels and a big desk to work on. The gym has everything I need and the pool is a great size and gets lots of shade during the summertime. Rhonda at the front desk is a true professional. She is always kind, courteous and always helpful whenever I need anything. I would definitely come back here not just for the amenities but the staff is just as excellent. Rhonda is the BEST!

However, we were a given a room for a handicapped guest with no barrier in the floor at the shower. You can imagine the mess after one shower with water flowing freely from the shower. I wish that had been mentioned prior to our taking the room. I had to clean up the mess just to make the bathroom useable.

- Juana Maria (6/5): It was ok. - The clicker for the tv was not working, the hair dryer was burned , and I got a call that we were being noisy, I had a 5 years old kid that was walking around and I think everybody could listen as we could listen when the people in the other room went to the bathroom or they were talking , so that I think the hotel was not very good built . The breakfast was so awesome and delicious and free. The internet worked perfectly and no problems with parking out cars.

Thanks to Urvi and Amish they made my stay wonderful. They took the time out to assist me with my luggage and help me find food around the city. I enjoyed my stay and this is a wonderful hotel.

In south Texas, pool should've been ready to swim in early May. Room was very comfortable and cool. Had a bit of a sour smell when first arrived but seemed to go away after it cooled off in room.
