Personal touch of the owner, very welcoming, splendid breakfast. The place breathes the history. It’s great! As it’s a very old building, expect some creaky floors and noise - if any - through walls. That’s part of the charme :)

Kevin and Karen were wonderful to talk with and we were provided with all the information about the inn and amenities. The breakfast was wonderful with quick service. This accommodation had a comfortable bed and all the necessities for an overnight stay. Every effort was made to make our stay comfortable. Also, we met some wonderful people who were there like us to attend a concert. There wasn't much we didn't like. This is an old inn, which is why we chose the location, and it can be challenging to keep up with the heat wave that was occurring and they did a wonderful job even if at times it was a little cool in some areas. We couldn't find anything we didn't like and enjoyed learning the history of the inn.

They were attentive to our needs, including keeping the fire in the fireplace lit so guests could enjoy the warmth and coziness throughout the evening. There was a pool table and plenty of games to enjoy in the common rooms which made for a fun night in. And breakfast was amazing! Karen's homemade granola and Kevin's homemade sourdough bread were definitely a treat!. I can't wait to return in the summer to enjoy the saltwater pool! Or perhaps in the autumn to enjoy all the fall feels of this charming Inn. It was better than expected! There is no need to change a thing.

The hosts (Karen's parents for the first 2 days) were delightful, helpful and informative regarding the area. Kevin and Karen returned from a wedding for our last night and morning, and they were equally friendly and great hosts. We will definitely return for another visit. Also, we loved sitting by the fireplace on our last evening. We did speak to Kevin about providing a map of the town of Meredith for the convenience of the guests.

Douglas (10/5): Charming, clean and comfortable - Beautiful grounds and inn. Comfy cozy atmosphere with great amenities including game room and heated pool. Excellent homemade breakfast included. Our Hosts Kevin and Karen were very hospitable and catered to every need. Small bathroom, but it was part of the charm of an old inn.

Sandra (10/5): - The property was well kept both inside and outside. Very quiet at night and the rooms were beautiful. There's quite a history to the inn as is demonstrated in the game room. Owner posted its history from 1763 to present on a log hung there. We did enjoy our stay.
Schurkus (10/5): Peace of mind, quality and convenience! - Kevin and Karen, how cute! They were both great hosts and run an unbelievably well kept B&B! The convenience of its location to not only the venue we were there to visit for a concert during this week. But also it's convenient to any other needs/wants you may have! Hiking, site seeing, fishing, swimming, camping, shopping! Absolutely nothing! Great stay and we will most certainly be back!

Calvin (10/5): Wonderful experienced - My wife and I booked a 3 days and 2 nights at The Nutmeg Inn. Our experience in the place and with the owners were wonderful. We felt we were back in times with all the antiques and decorations. The owners were super nice and friendly. The home cooked breakfasts were delicious. The house has plenty of games. Outdoor pool and nice yard to relax. It's about 10 mins drive into town. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Kevin and Karen, for being a wonderful

Lyman (10/5): Perfect romantic get-a-way - This trip was a last minute plan as we live pretty close by and wanted to get away for some time together. From start to finish the trip could not have gone better. The innkeepers were polite and prompt in their communication and arriving in the early evening we undertook a Scrabble game in one of several common areas right beside the fireplace. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The decor was accentuated by some beautiful quilts. We stayed in the Rosemary room which was exactly what we needed for a party of two. The stay was topped off by a delicious breakfast the next morning. My wife opted for homemade granola which we had smelt cooking the night before and I had eggs florentine. The Nutmeg Inn is definitely on our personal list for a repeat stay.

Killian (10/5): Gorgeous property and people for a quiet getaway. - Kevin and Karen were the most welcoming proprietors we have ever encountered in a stay like this. They are truly people persons. They showed genuine concern that our stay with them was everything we expected and more. Kevin kept the fireplace stoked in the evening for a cozy sit in one of the several common areas. Karen is such a lovely person and delightful to talk to. The rooms were immaculate as were the grounds. The food was well prepared and delicious. The room was the quietest room we stayed in on this 8 day trip through Vermont and New Hampshire: so relaxing and regenerative. There was nothing that I didn't like about the Nutmeg Inn.
Lucy (10/5): Fall couple’s getaway - Lovely historic inn and owners clearly invested in making their guests happy. From the game room to the delicious breakfast- all was terrific. The rosemary room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was small, and we did miss having a tv- but made do with our novels and each other instead.
stephen (10/5): A wonderful base for your New Hampshire touring - We were met by both Kevin and Karen, the proprietors, given a tour, brought to a comfortable room, and fed two wonderful breakfasts. A clean, historical property with unique rooms and comfortable beds with all amenities.... even a pool when it is warm. We loved it and will be back.

Valerie (9/5): Superb - It was my first time staying at a B&B so I was surprised that no one was there to greet me when I got there ( like at a hotel ).. Because no one was there it was a little awkward trying to find my room but once I got settled in It was a very good experience. Everything was clean and the attention to detail was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly. Not clear directions about where our room was.
