- Michal (7/5): Good value for money but take your earplugs are you can hear your neighbours - Cleanliness and the person who greeted us. Lots of parking. So much greenery everywhere. Good coffee in the room and still cold water in the fridge. The price was great despite several events happening in the vicinity. We had a tiny room with a hard bed and a bathroom outside the room. First time this happened to me. It was ok. But beware - rooms are really loud. You can hear your neighbours, and the floors squeak like crazy, so take your earplugs with you. Neighbours were banging doors and running around the stairs until 11pm, so all ok, but be mindful about it. This was for the cheapest room, as we just needed to crash somewhere between Tough Mudders. Also, staff could do with some training. They ran out of eggs, so the first thing they should have done was: talk to the kitchen to get the ETA when the eggs are back on the menu. Then tell everyone who is coming to get breakfast that there are no eggs and when they are expecting them to be back.

- Pat (10/5): An absolutely amazing stay - The breakfast was very good and the accommodation was superb and spotless, the setting was very picturesque and the staff very helpful, will stay there again when in the area. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, I think it was the best accommodation that I have ever stayed in, other properties have come near but this was 100%, it was a shame we only had an over night stop.an absolutely

- Jude (8/5): A very enjoyable stay with a slight blip. - I liked the cleanliness of the room and the view over the courtyard, I liked the peace and quiet. Breakfasts were generally good. Henley was a short car/taxi ride away and would have been walkable but there was no footpath for a stretch on the road. Although breakfast service on Tues/Weds was impeccable and efficient there seemed to be an issue on Thursday morning. The member of staff was trying their best but we had tea delivered to the table but no cups. We then waited about 5 minutes and some cups appeared but no spoons. Other customers were being attended to before us and breakfast was a lengthy affair. I think there should have been another member of staff on duty as it clearly wasn't working. The member of staff was apologetic and polite but it wasn't really acceptable. Also - please supply more than 2 teabags a day in the room. We managed to get some from the clubhouse to top up.

Colazione servita al bar (scelta di 2 piatti, non a buffet) del Golf Club in un contesto davvero rilassante. Staff super gentile. Noi eravamo in camera tripla con bagno e per 3 è stata molto adatta. Non molto grande ma l'abbiamo usata solo per dormire. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

- Janette (10/5): Really good! Would definitely go again. - Beautiful setting, polite, friendly and efficient staff and a lovely room with super-comfy bed. Dog friendly too. Couldn’t fault it. Just bear in mind no bar or food in the evenings unless they have special events on. Not a problem as we knew in advance and Henley just a short drive away.

- Steve (9/5): Good venue. - There was a separate parking area for B&B customers. The room was spacious and clean and was well equipped. The restaurant was well presented and clean and the staff were very efficient and friendly. The breakfast menu was good with a reasonable number of options. We enjoyed the fruit salad followed by a full English breakfast, the quantity and quality of the which was very good and we received exactly what we ordered. We ate once in the evening and had the Badgemore ultimate burger which was very tasty. The Cajun fries were very spicy which may not be to everyone’s taste. The location was very convenient to visit Henley and was only a five minute drive to Phyllis Court where I was playing croquet. The menu for evening meals was okay for us but might be a bit limited to other visitors.

Would be better if could we as a family could have spent the night there rather than driving to find somewhere to eat and have a few drinks. As the driver and being my daughter's 21st birthday we would have had a better night without having to drive and not being able to have a birthday drink together.

Then the coffee was horrible so was the milk.
