• Norman Hunter (7/5): Location is worth overlooking some things - 1. No noise from outside 2. Water pressure was phenomenal and hot water 3. Friendly and responsive front desk 4. Location, location, location near everything you would want 5. Despite being a 'Helm' the road is wide and allows for taxi direct to the hotel entrance 1. Signage to the hotel was almost non-existent needs improving 2. I had to move rooms as aircon did not work. In 2nd room it worked poorly. Needs a complete overhaul

• Maciej (1/5): I do not recommend this hotel and advise against it to any traveler. Don't waste your time and book - nothing... very unfriendly staff informed me that my room was unavailable... I'm very dissatisfied with my experience with this hotel. I booked the hotel through Booking.com. I selected the room I wanted. I arrived at the hotel around 5 p.m. after a long, almost 20-hour flight. Upon arrival, the very unfriendly staff informed me that my room was unavailable. They also stated that they had sent me a notification. They did, but I didn't even have time to read it because it was during my flight. After a long, unpleasant conversation with the hotel representative, they decided to offer me a different room in a different hotel about 400 meters from the one I had chosen. The new place was dingy and dirty. The new room offered was so small you could barely walk around the bed, the windows hadn't been cleaned in years... the bathroom needed a thorough cleaning. In short, it was unacceptable and a disgusting place to spend a few days. So, after a long and tiring journey with luggage, and in the evening, when it was already dark, I was forced to look for a new hotel on my own. Fortunately, I managed to find a new room in another excellent hotel with exceptionally friendly service. Therefore, I do not recommend this hotel and advise against it to any traveler. Don't waste your time and book another hotel.

• FRANCOIS (1/5): Hotel à supprimer de Booking.com - cet hôtel pratique un surbooking permanent depuis des années que je le connais donc en arrivant la chambre réservée n'est jamais disponible sous les prétextes les plus divers travaux, climatisation en panne etc et on vous envoie dans d'autres hôtels à 1 ou 2km ce que j'ai absolument refusé pour aboutir au Rosa hotel a 400m mais dans la Walking street ce I Peace Hotel devrait être retiré de l'offre Booking pour ces pratiques permanentes totalement abusives depuis des années

How come this happened during the last minute?? We were with 4 kids aged between 1y to 13y. We had to walk around with our luggages to look for other place to available because during these peak seasons (Christmas & New Year) most of the family rooms are not available. Staffs were not friendly at all. Saying 'sorry' were not enough for us to recover our tiredness and time wasted a lot. I do not recommend this place at all.

• Sarah (1/5): Cette établissement n’est rien d’un hôtel et devrais être supprimé de booking - La proximité de la rue principale J’ai été redirigé vers le DDA Hotel à Ho Chi Minh après un soi-disant problème de plomberie dans cet hotel que j’avais initialement réservé. L’expérience a été très décevante. Apres une nuit à DDA Hotel je suis retourné à Ipace Hotel. Les deux établissements présente des activités inappropriées pour un lieu censé accueillir des voyageurs : va-et-vient constant dans les couloirs pour des activités sexuelles, ambiance dérangeante et totalement inadaptée. La propreté est également inadmissible : la chambre était dans un état déplorable, draps sales, hygiène générale insuffisante. Le ménage n’est clairement pas assuré. Lorsque j’ai signalé ces problèmes, le personnel s’est montré peu réceptif et aucun effort n’a été fait pour améliorer la situation. Hotel fortement déconseillé.

I have stayed here for 1 week and i have recieved so much help from CT, she is an exceptional receptionist and takes good care of everyone. I will definetly recommend this hotel and I will stay here again in my next trip to Vietnam. I had pleasant staying in this Hotel.

Do not book here as they will like and send you to another hotel that will give much less than you paid for AND try to add additional fees. Booking.com should be ashamed for allowing this scam listing. Full of mildew.
• Andrew (7/5): Difficult to manage but worth it in the long run. - When we eventually got the room we had first booked it was very suitable 4 days later, we still had to take an alternate room for one night. The city views from the 9th floor were important as well as the space in the room. A big step up from the following. When we first arrived for a 6 night stay our room had been given to others. We were offered a room in a sister hotel a block away at the same price Which was acceptable but not what we had booked. After 3 days there we sought to return to the original which was supported at no extra cost to the original.

• Jessie (6/5): Thank you for your fast service and ensuing the room was made up - That they were able to take us on last minute- we booked while we were across the road at a restaurant. The room was very spacious and met our needs. There was a leak in the ceiling above one of the beds and mould surrounded it, we only noticed because we got wet by the drip. The beds were extremely hard, however some people prefer that.

• Marie Eleanor (8/5): Memorable Family Stay at iPeace Hotel - We had a wonderful stay at iPeace Hotel during our trip to Vietnam. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, close to Ben Thanh Market, Central Market, and surrounded by restaurants, salons, and tour offices. Grab taxis can easily pick you up at the entrance, making it very convenient to explore the city. The room was spacious and comfortable, great for 5 people. I traveled with family together with my mom and dad who are seniors, and the staff treated them with so much care and respect, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it’s an excellent place to stay if you want comfort, accessibility, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

It was rated much lower and was further away from where we wanted to be (walked 550m). Don’t know how nice the hotel is, but if you book with them, there is a solid chance they will bring you to a more rundown hotel with no prior notice for the same expensive price.

• Vrhowec (9/5): Superb - It is located on a lively hem (laneway), however it quiet at night to enable a peaceful night's rest. The room was large with a great view of the city. The bed was comfortable and firm (but not hard like many beds in Vietnam). There was good water pressure with responsive hot and cold water. The air-conditioner wasn't located over the bed, which was great. The staff were friendly, efficient and always helpful. Please include some tea and coffee.

• Sarah (1/5): Would avoid if possible - There were some nice places to eat situated around the hotel. I’ve never written a 1 star review before but this is probably some of the worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in - especially when you consider that they hold themselves out to be a hotel. The room we booked was meant to be on 9th or 10th floor (as described on booking.com), we were offered a room on 3rd floor upon arrival because they’d given the rooms to other travellers who were staying for longer - not a big deal but annoying if you’ve booked for the views. The first room we were given had a horrible damp smell and the bed sheets were dirty (it seemed to be sweat and dirt stains, as well as hairs). When we raised it with the staff they moved us to another room on the 2nd floor. This room didn’t smell as bad but the sheets, upon pulling them back, were clearly worse (it looked like someone had been eating in bed and they’d just flipped the duvet) - the pillows also had stains and there were hairs throughout the bed. At this point I went to reception and asked for some clean sheets (I even offered to put them on myself). The staff member appeared confused and said he’d call a friend to get them changed, no one came to the room. I’ve never experienced anything like this before, you see similar reviews and you think they’re probably just demanding customers with too high standards but all we wanted was clean sheets in a building designed to house beds (we never cared to change rooms or for some sort of discount, we just wanted a clean place to sleep). This was the tenth place we’ve stayed in our trip around south east Asia (accommodation varying from hostels to hotels), with cost per night range from £8 (which was actually our favourite) to £30 and it’s the only place that couldn’t provide a clean room and a comfortable place to stay.

I liked the alternative building even more. Great location. Balcony facing the temple and noisy dide street - 24 hour life, exactly what you need in place like Saigon. You come here for vibrant life.

The mattress was also very hard and uncomfortable to sleep in. The room they gave us was not the room that I booked online which was kind of disappointing.
