• Elena (10/5): Fantastic historic building with a welcoming feel - Amazing location surrounded by banana trees and overlooking the sea in this super well maintained XVI century building. Not only is the place beautiful and calm but also the staff was really fantastic. Particularly Lua at the welcome desk and house keeping Lali were extremely kind and accommodating, also with our 1,5yo son making us feel almost at home. Breakfast is also delicious and the views fantastic. We had a great time and will certainly recommend this place to family and friends. Not a big deal but the roads to explore the rest of the plantation/property aren’t in great condition. It would be nice to be able to easily go around and visit the small cove/beach. The idea of providing some small food on site is convenient but we found the options were a bit overpriced and not so tasty (compared to the average food quality and prices in the area ). A coffee machine and a small fridge in the rooms would’ve been appreciated.

• GERDA (10/5): - Die historische Finca wurde sehr geschmackvoll zum Hotel umgestaltet und liegt einzigartig auf einem Kap nahe dem Dorf Garachico inmitten einer Bananenplantage. Vom Frühstücksraum mit Panoramafenster blickt man auf die Plantage und das Meer. Es ist total ruhig im Haus und im Hof, nur die Zimmertüren hört man deutlich zuschlagen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist für ein kleines Hotel sehr umfassend, frischer Fruchtsalat, hausgemachte Kuchen, frische Eierspeise, Tortilla, Empanadas. Jeden Tag etwas Neues dabei. Tolle Nespresso-Kaffeemaschinen. Es gibt sehr unterschiedliche Zimmer mit verschiedenen Preisen. Unser Zimmer im Nebentrakt war sehr hellhörig. Der Strand, der am nächsten zum Hotel liegt, in einer kleinen Bucht, war durch ein Tor verschlossen, was uns niemand in der Rezeption gesagt hat. Wir sind mit der schweren Badetasche umsonst die Straßen und Wege zu Fuß dahin gegangen. Bei unruhiger See kann man da nicht schwimmen, die Felsen sind zu nahe.

Le lieu est calme paisible bien loin des rangées d'immeubles de la côte ouest. Tennis, piscine, jardin d'été ou d'hiver... tout est fait pour passer un délicieux séjour du délicieux petit déjeuner au calme salon chaleureux pour finir la soirée... Le calme du lieu se mérite... Il faudra faire de la voiture pour aller voir les principales attractions de l'île et le lieu est le plus pluvieux de l'île...

• Christelle (8/5): Tres bel établissement mais confort à améliorer par rapport au prix des chambre - Très belle bâtisse ancienne avec beaucoup de charme, très beau jardin, le lieu est au calme et original (au milieu d'une bananeraie). Très bon petit déjeuner. Le confort est minimal, certes nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec la météo (froid et pluie) mais l'humidité à l'intérieur était importante. Il n'y a pas de chauffage, nous avons utilisé le petit de chauffage de salle de bains mais cela n'a pas suffit à rendre la chambre agréable. Les serviettes de toilettes ne séchaient pas, il faisait froid. Pas de bouilloire à disposition non plus, bien que la chambre que l'on nous a donné se trouvait à 500 m du bâtiment principal. Trop isolée à notre gout. Déçus par le rapport qualité-prix

• Ann (9/5): Spectacular setting, superior service, serene slumber - Traveling on my own, I spent one week at this beautiful hotel which is surrounded by a 60-hectare banana plantation. My room was located 500 meters away from the main property in the “Banananera” annex. The very spacious room and bathroom were rounded out by a private patio with two sun beds and an umbrella. The breakfast buffet (included in the room rate) is served at the main building, with various cold items (yogurt, juices, fruit salad, fresh fruit, including, of course, bananas) served every day and hot items rotated over the week. Given poor weather for much of my stay, I spent a lot of time the nicely furnished reading room. During sunshine, I enjoyed the pool, which is small, but has a lovely surrounding. Very friendly staff. Great maid service. At the main property, there is a 24-hour space with a vending machine for purchasing soft drinks, beer, and snacks, and a kettle for preparing tea. Suggestions for improvement Given the distance between the main property and the Banananera complex, it would be nice to have a kettle for tea/coffee and a mini fridge in the Banananera rooms. One major disadvantage of El Patio is the lack of a restaurant, meaning it is necessary to leave the property and go to one of two nearby towns for lunch or dinner. The staff indicated to me that a restaurant is due to open in September. In traveling from Tenerife South Airport to the hotel, I used a web-mapping platform which routed me north, first through a four-lane motorway and then through a brutal, two-lane road that climbs up to over 1,000 meters above sea level and then descends. Luckily, I made that trip during daylight – it would have been quite scary in the dark. On returning to the airport, I took another route towards Santa Cruz which was much easier to navigate. I suggest the hotel advise arriving guests, in advance, to take the latter route, instead of the one provided by the web-mapping platform.

• Ute (10/5): Ein ganz besonderes Hotel an einem traumhaften Ort - perfekt für Ruhe abseits der Trubels - Es ist eine sehr besondere, familiäre Unterkunft mitten in einer Bananenplantage. Durch die Größe der Anlage ist alles sehr weitläufig und man fühlt sich wie im Paradies. Die Anlage ist sehr liebevoll und durchdacht gestaltet und man fühlt sich hier rundum wohl. Der perfekte Ort um zur Ruhe abseits der Trubels zu kommen. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und lecker - vorallem der Kaffee ist ausgezeichnet!

The pool area was really nice. The weather was a bit cool for us to go in. Really peaceful. We would have liked more dining options for the evening. Because it was a bit cool when we were there, we needed somewhere warmer in the evening. We were walking in the day and having a late lunch so didn’t want to go out in the evenings . We knew with no restaurant this would mean being flexible . Being able to order a tapas plate or cheese board to collect would have been a really good. Evening option . Actually this isn’t a complaint there are plant based things available, but not really what we wanted. We had snacks and wine .

Perfect to relax in peace. - A beautiful location the only minus was having to go out for lunch and evening meal every day. The grounds were exceptional with peaceful gardens with many places to sit and banana fields to wander around down to the wild coast. Breakfast was good. The room was pleasant but had very inadequate clothes storage. Clothes storage. Food and drink availability. There were tea and coffee facilities but with no milk and we weren’t tempted by microwave meals in a jar.

Am simțit ca suntem cazați într-o bucată de istorie, cu camere modernizate, dar încă menținând arhitectura originală a fermei. Plimbările de dimineață printre bananii cu flori sau cu banane, aproape de malul mării ne-au făcut concediul perfect. Totul foarte curat, produse de îngrijire de calitate. Micul dejun nu foarte diversificat, dar foarte gustos și chiar nu cred ca e necesar mai mult. A fost o experiență de neuitat și ne vom reîntoarce cu drag. Totul ne-a plăcut

Al estar más aislado del pueblo más cercano, se echaba de menos poder cenar ahi. Pero te puedes traer tu cena y tienes diferentes rincones para disfrutar de ella.

• Willem (10/5): Very nice authentic accommodation in a quiet location - The accommodation is absolutely stunning! The location is nothing short of idyllic, a private oasis tucked away. It has many amazing facilities, like a beautiful courtyard and lounge area, and a heated swimming pool! Breakfast is extensive, there's much to choose from, and it's absolutely delicious. The room and the bathroom are spacious. And it has a lovely private terrace! Our room was slightly damp, probably due to the rainy weather before our trip. We couldn't get rid of the dampness in our room, which meant that our clothes and bedding also became damp. It also lacks a dinner restaurant, which is not available every day in the immediate vicinity, but this is only a minor drawback.

The location amidst the banana plantations and close to the sea is amazing. The house is authentic, traditional and very comfortable. The style is dober but everything is top quality. The beds are amazing to sleep in and the location is so quiet at night. We could relax, recharge and unwind from the city life. It feels like being in the past with al the comfort of the present. The breakfast is excellent and the hotel is a short driving distance to authentic villages, supermarket and restaurants. We enjoyed the pool and would definitively come back. Everything was according or above expectations.

Das Pool war beheizt und wir konnten zu jeder Tageszeit schwimmen. Der morgendliche Spaziergang durch die Bananenplantage zum Meer und einem darüber liegenden Naturpool war wundervoll. Der mit Palmen bestückte Innenhof des Anwesens war sehr stimmungsvoll weihnachtlich geschmückt. Das Personal war besonders aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

• Ricardo (9/5): Tranquilidad entre plataneras - La ubicación es inmejorable (ubicado en medio de una plantación platanera) si lo que buscas es tranquilidad y paisaje. El desayuno muy bueno y el personal muy atento y servicial. Estaría bien un mínimo servicio de restauración, sobre todo para las cenas, porque para ir a cenar tienes que coger el coche. No hay nada alrededor a dónde pudieras ir dando un paseo.

• Nina Strand (10/5): Fantastisk for fred og ro i vakre omgivelser. Trenger bil, ingen badestrand, men et badested når havet er rolig. - Nydelig, vakkert og fredelig sted. Deilig frokost. Fint utgangspunkt for å utforske øyas vakre natur. Ikke for partyløver! Likte alt.

• Emilie (10/5): Excellent hotel - Le lieu historique et agreable, le petit déjeuner exceptionnel, l'accueil Un calme très appréciable au milieu des plantations de bananes, mais aussi la proximité de l'hôtel des différents villages et lieux touristiques de l'île ! Le seul défaut que nous avons pu observer est le manque d'insonorisation entre la chambre et les salles de bains voisines. Sinon tout est parfait !
• JASMINE (8/5): Très bel endroit : à découvrir - Le charme de l’Hacienda et son emplacement dans une énorme bananeraie en bord de mer. La proximité avec Garachico, très jolie petite ville.
• Rosa (9/5): Wie aus einer fernen Zeit und doch fehlt es an nichts - Die Zimmer sind einfach, groß und sehr sauber. Auch das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auf dem wunderbaren Gelände gibt es viele Möglichkeiten zu verweilen, sehr oft mit Meerblick. Einen kleinen Strand kann man zu Fuß erreichen. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles bestens. Manche Leute würden vielleicht einen Fernseher wollen, für uns war das Fehlen perfekt.
• Zuzanna (8/5): - Przepięknie zlokalizowana posiadłość, z zachwycającym ogrodem i wspólnymi przestrzeniami. Świetnym udogodnieniem jest nieograniczony dostęp do kawy nespresso i herbaty. Wyposażenie pokoju i łazienki wymagają renowacji, część sprzętów jest nieco zniszczona, szyba i bateria prysznicowa pokryta kamieniem/brudem. Pokoje w nocy są duszne, brakuje klimatyzacji, a ze względu na okna wychodzące na patio, na którym często jest hałaśliwie ciężko mieć otwarte okna przez całą noc. Hotel mógłby rozważyć wprowadzenie ograniczeń wiekowych dla dzieci - miejsce ze świetną, kameralną i romantyczną atmosferą, ale podczas naszego pobytu prawie połowę gości stanowiły dzieci, w tym te najmłodsze, które mocno hałasowały, budząc innych gości wcześnie rano i utrudniając korzystanie z części wspólnych.

• JANE (7/5): Peaceful location in picturesque setting - Breakfast was good. Location was very quiet, scenic and amongst picturesque gardens. Tea/coffee making facilities not available in the room
• Pavlo Marianenko (9/5): Very nice small cozy hotel - This is really nice small quiet cozy hotel in the middle of banana plantation. If you need quiet and calm place to rest - this is it. Also breakfasts are truly outstanding. Staff is always helpful Maybe the only downside is very thin walls. You can hear literally anything your neighbors do.
